We're very thankful that Roto-Rooter could come first thing on a Sunday morning when we had sump pump problems on Saturday night. The clog was discovered, but had probably been there a long time, so the sump pump motor was friend and the system had to be replaced. Roto Rooter took care of all our sump pump issues thoroughly and professionally.

Dj arrived at the beginning of the timeframe window, sweated some new pipe on intake valves under a sink and replaced the valves. He cleaned up well behind himself. 4 star only because there was a secondary leak from his fix … but he came back right away the same day and made it right.

Horrible Experience with Summers at this location. I initially contacted the company after my thermostat failed and I was unable to replace it myself. The initial experience was great; it was after hours, they contacted promptly, advised me of typical costs for after hours vs normal hours, and I was able to get someone out the next day. They fixed the thermostat, realized the furnace was overheating and exchange was potentially damaged. They went through costs for repair vs replacement, informed me of all the risks and typical costs, allowed me time to think about it, and I felt comfortable having them install a new one. This is where things went south for me. One of the main reasons I opted to replace vs repair is that I was starting a new career and would not have any time off availability for about a month. I informed Summers of this several times, and they were very reassuring that they could get a team out to replace it on 12/8/18 with an inspector to make sure all was well and that I would not have to worry about it. I was told it would take a couple hours, which was great as I had a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time. On 12/8/18 on installer shows up to install the entire thing by himself; it takes about 4.5 hours. No inspector was with him, which meant I had to take yet another day to have someone come out. When questioned, Summers response was we don't know why he wasn't there, sorry. On 12/14/18 the inspector came out and found 3 issues with the furnace that were done incorrectly, one of which was causing carbon monoxide to leak back into the home. Summers was resilient to come fix the issue, and after arriving seemed as if it was just a major inconvenience for them. The inspector even mentioned to me that he had had several issues with Summer's and has repeatedly told them not to use improper supplies when installing units, but they insist on doing it anyway. When I addressed this with Summers, the gentleman just rolled his eyes as if safety standards were overrated. Unfortunately on the first trip back to fix the issues, they could only fix 2/3 areas, and said they would send someone to repair it on the following Monday (12/17/18). I was home and available all day, no one called, no one showed up. When I called they would promise a call back to find out why no one would ever show, but I never received a call back. I was then told someone would be out Tuesday, but they sent a plumber instead of an hvac repairman. I was told they would come Wednesday, but again No one called or showed up. Eventually I had to contact the finance company that I financed the furnace through to file a complaint in order to get them to actually fix the issue. The whole experience was just a mess, I feel like Summers just pushes their incompetence off onto the customer and had I not been persistent, would have never finished the job properly.

From beginning to end I was extremely impressed with Austin and Mr. Plumber as a company. They arrived on time for both the estimate and the work to be done. They were not pushy with any sales and very knowledgeable. They advised on many aspects I needed to consider with the age of my water heater and certain things that were not up to code. They quoted a fair price in comparison to other estimates I had received. They were quick, kind, and explained to me all they completed when finished.Overall 10/10 would recommend. ?

After getting two quotes for much more extensive (unneeded) repair, a neighbor recommended Hellyer. They addressed only the issue at hand and replaced the leaking pipe without any major demolition or remodel. The overall price was about 1/4 of what the other companies quoted, not counting what would have been necessary remodeling. We are so grateful we heard about them in time and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

They were excellent!!! 5 out of 5! Very polite, clean, even helped carried my groceries upstairs! Showed me a video of my furnace and what they did. Very impressive!!!

Had this business quote replacement of AC and furnace- their quote was more than double the competition- $9000 vs $4000 by a couple reputable other companies. Yikes! I shop around when I am spending this much money. They clearly depend on customer ignorance.

Dwight was amazing. He was extremely prompt, professional, and courteous. He came to fix an electrical issue which then turned into an air conditioner/electrical problem. He went above and beyond by leaving to pick up a part and returning the same day (actually the same hour) to fix both problems. I would gladly call them again for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pretty much any problem.

The hot water heater in our office went down. I contacted Fite over the weekend and they beat a competitor's price and had the replacement done by Monday afternoon. Everyone was very polite and professional during the whole process. Excellent company and I would highly recommend.

Tom, Nick and Mike were timely, friendly professional and thorough. I had to have my entire HVAC system replaced. They answered all my questions and and were very transparent about the whole process. They did an excellent job.

Of course my kitchen sink clogs on the weekend! Roto-Rooter has a easy to use website for scheduling and the don’t charge extra for weekend or evening calls.
Phil S was the technician and he was on time, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly unclogged the sink!
