The guy they sent to my house is a hack not a plumber. He made up a plumbing fixture and made it about a half inch short, rather than fix it, hebent the existing plumbing to mate, causing a leak in an existing valve. He would not take responsibility for the problem that he caused. The existing valve did not leak before he showed up, and leaked before he left. The existing plumbing was originally level, plumb and square, it is now bowed, putting a strain on a valve and causing the body to leak. It also looks ugly. Freddie (3702) and Antoine are the most competent plumbers I have ever met. They are also the friendliest two guys who have ever come to my house. It was a pleasure watching them work, and they showed me what they were doing every step of the way.I would proudly recommend them for anyone's plumbing work.Follow Up PostTwo guys came to my home the next day. They cut out a section out of my driveway and dug down to the broken sewage pipe. Then they replaced the broken pipe with a better section with a clean-out directly over the replaced part. Then they filled the hole with dirt, and mixed concrete and repaired the driveway. All this was done in less than 3 hours.Thanks, Roto-Rooter, for a job well done. Carlos and his helper were just as friendly and courteous as Freddy and Antoine the previous day.

After he got everything in order, he came back a week later to replace all the damaged piping--when nobody in Texas had plumbing supplies, he sent for them from Arizona.He wasn't running from emergency to emergency 24/7 those 2 weeks because he needed the money, he did it because he knew how many people were relying on him to save their houses and couldn't let them down.

Called and spoke to Gilbert and asked for an estimate for a clogged drain. He refused to provide an estimate and said he could tell me once they saw it. On my way home, Gilbert said his guy was on his way to my house. When I arrived home, the guy said he had been waiting for an hour an half. Then, after looking at the pipe that was clogged, he said Gilbert told him to charge me $225. I asked him, Then why didn't he tell me that when I asked him for an estimate? I reluctantly agreed and 15 minutes later, he said he was done. We tested it and the pipe was still clogged. He said he would have to cut the pipe, but that it would cost more. I said to forget it. He was already charging me $225 for 15 minutes of work, I could only image what he would charge me to keep working on it. He went to his truck and said that after talking to Gilbert, he could do it for another $75. I agreed since I had to have it repaired. This time, he did fix it, but not after walking away like you have just been hustled. I give 2 stars because at least he fixed it.

Arrived on time, quick, knowledgeable, though pricy service. They charge a modest $45 fee due to fuel cost increase. They sent Yanis (a Master plumber) to evaluate and replace a broken leaking plastic ball valve and replace and relocate an improperly located pressure reduction valve in one visit. Yanis showed considerable knowledge and spent time explaining the repair and best practices. Whole job cost $1080 and took about 2 hours. Did a great job cleaning up too. Of the 2 hrs, waited 30 minutes for someone to drop off parts.Edit: Price was actually on the high side after researching parts installed. Parts was about $200 so paid about $350-400/hr for labor but Yanis was knowledgeable.
