GEI Plumbing Services tech was very professional and explained thoroughly the scope of the work to be done. He repaired the leak and did a nice job cleaning up. I unfortunately did not have a good experience with Roto-Rooter. The technician they sent to me did not seem to really care about his job and was back and forth about the price to replace a Moen hot/cold water cartridge. He walked in the room and just took my word for what was wrong with the hot water, which I had googled the problem, said oh those Moen cartridges are about $120, they are expensive. He didn't even turn the water on or pretend to do diagnostics. Then went to his truck and wrote up a quote that said the cartridge was only $15 dollars. I signed and agreed to the work. Then he went back to his truck and called my cell phone from the truck and said he needed to go to home depot cause he didn't have the cartridge on is truck as previously stated and returned with a receipt that says it was $50 dollars. Already I have lost faith but I didn't listen to instinct and let him proceed with the work. During the work of aggressively pulling the old cartridge which had been there for 11 years, he ruined the position of the piping which led to a gap between the tile and the tub down spout. He claims it must have been like that already but I watched the process as it happened. I pointed out this new problem and he says all he can do is caulk it. Mind you this new gap is about 1/4 inch and looks bad. He didn't even caulk in the area he worked in where the shower handle was. I'm super disappointed and wish I had have stuck with John Moore or tried someone new.Update: After making a phone call to management, Roto-Rooter sent a more competent technician out and fixed the problem and now I am satisfied with the work.

Lucky’s looked at an area on the wall behind the toilet that was damp after a house cleaning service did a deep clean through the house a few days ago. The dampness dried up the next day and stayed dry thereafter. However, I called Lucky’s to make sure there were no underlying problems. Eric confirmed there was no leaking from the toilet. He also found a 1/8 inch drop using a level on the floor from the wall to 2 ft away. Since there was no stain around the toilet base caulking, Eric said the water from mopping ran down the grout channel under the wall and absorbed into the sheet rock where I saw the dampness. He also said there was no trip charge!I appreciated Eric’s honesty, knowledge and professionalism and am happy to recommend him and Lucky’s Plumbing

Great company! I needed a new toilet installed and the old one hauled away. I called at 12:30pm and the job was completed by 6pm same day. Nayar and ZIU were very professional and did a great job! After the historic winter storm of February 2021, a pipe burst in one of our buildings at work-- and like many Texans, it was near impossible to find a plumber following the storm.
