Jerry was very knowledgeable about what we needed to have done, and also shared a recommendation for how to have the damage we experienced from the leak repaired. Carl and Stephanie came a day earlier than expected and fixed the entire pipe situation so I now have water. This is the day after Christmas 2022 and the county is covered with broken pipes. They texted me back on Christmas (!) which helped calm the nerves after the water problems that afternoon.

When our water heater broke down, I called Atlanta Plumbing and the person I talked to was able to explain to me what have happened and what I should do. A few minutes later, they were at my door and wasted no time in fixing the problem.

One of the most vulnerable positions you can be in as a homeowner is when something breaks and you require a timely repair. In our case, we had a break in our main water line beneath our paved alleyway. When asking around for a good plumber, Victor and his team came highly recommended, and now I know why. I can not say enough great things about this team and wouldn’t consider calling anyone else should the need arise in the future. Today I discovered that I had a major water leak after calling the county about my high water bill. I had to fix the issue ASAP but knew it was something outside of my home and I needed help. After a brief Google search I decided on Alliance Plumbing and Drain based on their 5 star rating from over 300 reviews.

During the initial phone call, they diagnosed the problem (main water line leak right outside my foundation, 3 feet underground) and gave me an estimate. After brief consideration I called back to schedule an appointment; they were at my house in about an hour. After 2 1/2 hours they had fixed the problem and cleaned up. They also said to call them if I have any problems getting a refund from the county on my water bill.

I was impressed by their knowledge, quick response, professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail. Also, I learned that they are a local, family owned and family operated business (all brothers and brothers in law).

I could say more but it's already a long review; for what it's worth, I highly recommend them.

They put the health of our family at risk, I wouldn't trust them with yours. While replacing a gas water heater with an electric, they released natural gas throughout the house, forcing my pregnant wife to vacate for hours, and when they left they did not cap off the exhaust pipe opening they created when removing the old water heater, potentially exposing us to deadly carbon monoxide. In addition, they were wholly unresponsive throughout our entire process from scheduling to getting through the work completion. They were supposed to have an electrician come out to finish installing the water heater but that person never came, and it took a lot of effort to get a response from them to sort that out. So that left us without hot water for the day. The next day, without any communication, an electrician finally did show up, but wanted to install the wrong circuit breaker forcing me to do a quick search showing that the right circuit breaker was 8 minutes down the road at Home Depot. I had to run down and pay for it so that the job was done correctly. I get that things happen, and I gave them a lot of grace for mishaps up to install but not communicating with the customer is as unprofessional as you can get. I would not recommend using them at this time.

Edit: As you can see, they replied to this review within an hour of me posting it. I wish they had been so responsive when I tried texting and calling them throughout the install and after it was finished about these issues. I guess I'm welcome to email or call them anytime but not expect a response.

Mr Rooter installed a new hot water heater in January. There were issues with the hot water heater and, despite Mr Rooter’s several efforts to fix them, Mr Rooter decided to replace the hot water heater. David and his assistant completed the install today, and we’re delighted!
