You do get the owner on the phone but he’s unprofessional. Has difficulty scheduling appointments. Can’t schedule without requiring you to call back. Incomplete service. Had outdoor faucet fixed but didn’t fasten down. Came loose few months later and leaked again. Fixed the second time but charged again for what they didn’t do the first visit. Altogether very poor approach to service. I hate to give a local business a bad review but problems are just too pervasive.

Matt & Rusty replaced our sewage evacuator pump for us. They called ahead of time to discuss the job, they showed up on time and explained everything they were doing before they did the job. We were very pleased with their work.

My brother referred me to this company and I am glad he did! I want to thank Bobby and Ben for their hard work! They took the time to answer ALL my questions and tested everything before they left. They didn't rush anything or try to be fast just to get it done, they actually cared about doing a great job. After they were done, they tidied up the area. I will definitely request them for future services and refer them to my friends.

They put the health of our family at risk, I wouldn't trust them with yours. While replacing a gas water heater with an electric, they released natural gas throughout the house, forcing my pregnant wife to vacate for hours, and when they left they did not cap off the exhaust pipe opening they created when removing the old water heater, potentially exposing us to deadly carbon monoxide. In addition, they were wholly unresponsive throughout our entire process from scheduling to getting through the work completion. They were supposed to have an electrician come out to finish installing the water heater but that person never came, and it took a lot of effort to get a response from them to sort that out. So that left us without hot water for the day. The next day, without any communication, an electrician finally did show up, but wanted to install the wrong circuit breaker forcing me to do a quick search showing that the right circuit breaker was 8 minutes down the road at Home Depot. I had to run down and pay for it so that the job was done correctly. I get that things happen, and I gave them a lot of grace for mishaps up to install but not communicating with the customer is as unprofessional as you can get. I would not recommend using them at this time.

Edit: As you can see, they replied to this review within an hour of me posting it. I wish they had been so responsive when I tried texting and calling them throughout the install and after it was finished about these issues. I guess I'm welcome to email or call them anytime but not expect a response.

Very unreliable. Tried to set up an appointment - they promised to call back within couple hours. After 1.5 days of waiting called again - was promised that somebody will call back next day - too busy to set up an appointment. Waste of time.

It is 2018 and the world continues to change in front of my face. I remember drinking water out of the hose attached to the side of the house after running three blocks with my male school mates. I played outside until dark and my Mother yelled out the front screen porch door that was not locked and I knew dinner was on the table. I grew up in a small town and we talked about sports, went to Sunday School and participated in the youth chorus on Sunday night. We watched Disney and Bonanza as a family.

I remember getting my first bike not my first used car because I learned more about life while riding 5 miles to school because busing was not around. One of the most important things I connected to in my teen years was that we were poor and love kept us together as a family. I had to work 48 to 56 hours a week to pay my own way through college – And I did.

Working in an office for more than 40 years, I have learned by the grace of God that we all put our pants on the way whether you are the janitor or the president. We all should have to work hard to be successful – some folks just have a bigger title but not a heart. I have come to a point (over 10 years ago) that I want to measure my net worth in friends not American dollars.

All of my experiences have been priceless. I have been to over 35 countries and 47 of our United States. I have hosted customers at Super Bowls, National Championships in football, Final Four, World Series, the Stanley Cup, NBA Championships, Olympics, Ryder Cups and it goes on and on.

What does all of the mean – well, today I experienced something that our culture had lost. Good old customer service and plus an honest company in Atlanta! For more than two months I have looking for a plumbing company to replace two hot water heaters in my home. I received in the mail Atlanta’s Choice Savings Winter 2018 flyer last week. My wife and I had 4 estimates before the booklet and we just didn’t feel right. The booklet had two more plumbing companies and I decided to call both of them. By the grace of God, I called and talked with Mr. Arthur Donahue in Woodstock. He has been in business based on our conversation for over 50 years.

He taught me more in 15 minutes than all of the customer representatives or service representatives coming to our home with all the other companies. He knows Hot Water Heaters – PERIOD! Today our appointment was between 1 and 5 pm. I received a call at 12:15 from one of his sons. They were on the way to our home and should be there by 12:45 pm.

I rushed home and they arrived at 12:44 pm. John and Brandon Donahue greeted me with “Mr. Jones!” And the rest is history – their work quality is second to none……They completed the job in 3 hours, cleaned up everywhere, reviewed their work, explained how to flush the hot water heater annually, showed me how to light the new equipment and waited 15 minutes after all the work was completed to ensure that all of the new heaters were working properly. On top of all of being placed back into time because of the learnings from their father, their prices were the best by more than several hundred dollars to over a thousand dollars.

My advice is to look no further if you need any plumbing services – THEY ARE THE BEST AND SO HONEST. Thank you, Mr. Donahue for letting me relive today some of my past that I loved so much. This is not about me but about there are still some great companies that are good.

Honest, professional family-run business with very reasonable pricing. In this day and age it is rather rare to find such dedicated people in service sector--especially plumbing. I was in the market for water heater replacement as North Atlanta Plumbing's Ad caught my attention in a local flyer. Their advertised pricing was much lower than several estimate I had. So, I decided to give them a call expecting the typical plumber script or even an answering machine.
To my surprise, I was greeted by an old fashion friendly voice of the owner Mr. Donahue. Not only the advertised price was honored, he also agreed to replace the corroded copper piping at no extra charge plus a senior citizen discount to boot! I could not have asked for a better deal. In a couple of days his sons Brendon and John were promptly at my house installing a new water heater and replacing the needed copper pipes. They did an excellent job and answered all my questions. Kudos to Mr Donahue, Brendon and John for exemplary service and running a tight ship. What a breath of fresh dealing with such courteous honest folks. You have definitely gained my confidence as I am already ranting about the experience to my colleagues.

Had 4 toilets installed and one repair. I sustained damage to a wall while one of the toilets was being removed. It took a month to get it repaired. Once the owners were made aware of my displeasure they were quick to resolve the problem.

Next day service to replace a water heater. Competitive pricing. NO hidden add-ons. Came when they said they would. Finished in the time they said they would. Professional, prompt, workmanlike. Bobby was a great representative for the company. Answered all my dumb plumbing questions in a patient , friendly smiling manner. It was a pleasure to have him working in my home.

Hired this company back in May to replace the water heater in one of my residential rental properties and called the owner to have someone come out and check it bc my tenants didn’t have hot water. He was the rudest and unprofessional person I’ve ever spoken to in my entire life. He yelled at me and made fun of what I said. My husband was jaw dropped listing to the conversation.
He was very nice back in May when I called to hire him and spend all the money to get a new water heater. Now that I needed it to be serviced he treated me this way. Will never ever use them again.

After almost 24 years Kathy and I had to replace our water heater and pressure reducing valve.We called several plumbers. Most were extremely expensive. We then called Arthur at N Atlanta Plumbing. He carefully explained what he offered and gave a quote over the phone. The quote was exactly what we paid. He told me his plumbers would call 30 min before coming.
Matt and Rusty called as instructed. They were courtesy , respectful and efficient. I would highly recommend this company.

I had my “Rheem” water heater installed by this company. It’s still under warranty and the gas valve had problem. I have tried reaching them since Jan 16th and even visited their office at Woodstock, which was locked. The problem with water heater is no other plumbers will repair unless they have installed it. I reached out to the manufacturers and managed to get it fixed. Mind you the call waiting time for this manufacturers customer care is more than 1hour.

Had a small leak in my PVCP so called and Matt and rusty came out and not only fixed the problem but noticed my pipes were old and brittle so they replace them all with copper to sturdy it up and also changed my expansion tank that was full all in all great work very reliable, honest, professional, and great to deal with highly recommended to all thanks u guys for all the help

Contacted North Atlanta Plumbing to have them install a dishwasher. They were able to come the next day and pricing was good. Matt & Rusty did a fabulous job installing it in a timely manner. They turned everything back on and made sure it worked properly before leaving. Was so satisfied they are coming back to fix other plumbing issues.

Wow’ed from the initial call! This was the 2nd company that I had out. Rachael was knowledgeable from the start, which instilled confidence, and they genuinely wanted to earn my business.

I can’t say enough about Matt Smith and Danny. They arrived right on time and listened to the issues we were facing. They retested some things at their desire (no charge) to properly diagnose that my issue was a toilet valve and not my main pressure reducing valve. Significantly less of an issue than previously told, and less money too! (BTW, $395 vs. $505 for the PRV from one company to another). They could have just went with it, but instead focused on the the issue at hand. Having been screwed by others in the past, Matt and Danny created a fan in the process. Kudos for repping the company well!!

The pricing was very straightforward from the initial conversation, to the published pricing on the website, as well as what was invoiced. I was never “upsold” through the process. Not only was the water heater a couple hundred dollars less, it included the thermal expansion tank, AND comes with a 10 year warranty (vs. only 6 with the other company).

I have tried to call and text North Atlanta Plumbing for 3 days straight. No one has responded to my or my tenants calls. We have tried 3 different numbers we have for them, numerous times. We got a new water heater installed from them less than a year ago which stopped working. We have warranty on it and are trying to get it fixed since it’s freezing outside but no one is answering or calling us back.

Bobby was friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions throughly and patiently. Showed us everything he was doing and explained. We would give him 5 stars and above. A young man with work ethics is hard to find nowadays.

After 24 years we had a solidly blocked kitchen drain. The blockage went for about 15ft. I called a well know plumbing company that advertises on Radio, TV and bill boards etc. and are affiliated with a Heating and Air company. They charged a reasonable $50 estimate fee but the quote from them was $2400.00 to $2800.00 and couldn't guarantee that my carpet wouldn't be ruined. I wanted a 2nd opinion so at random and as luck would have it, I call North Atlanta Plumbing in Woodstock. Arthur (the owner) answered the phone and came out the next day to give me a FREE estimate. One of the first things Arthur said was that that they would protect our carpet with plastic. $800.00 + $85.00 to remove the garbage disposal to which the mega company quoted $250.00 just for the disposal removal. The job was done in the time promised and they did a great job. Thank-you Arthur and sons great job.

A great price and a couple splendid personalities, BUT --
They came unprepared and had to leave to purchase some transition items.
Ragged work habits, showed no concern for carpet...evidence of their presence is now likely indelibly patterned. Carpet cleaning/replacement will negate their lower price.

They leave their work area cleaner than anyone I have ever had come in for plumbing.Matt and Blake are so kind and professional. I called North Atlanta Plumbing today around 10am and left a message that I needed a new water heater. Someone called me back before noon and set up an appointment for 2:00. They were here before 2:00 and done by 5:00. I got a new water heater and I’m happy!

Water heater broke on a Monday night. Called Tuesday morning and had a brand new water heater by that afternoon. My call was answered immediately (I didnt have to submit online or leave a message), quoted over the phone (very reasonable). Installation was perfect. Friendly and fast service. VERY HAPPY! Matt and Rusty went above and beyond to isolate and fix a slab leak in my home. We initially thought the leak was coming from the back area of the house, they were able to pinpoint the leak in another location, which happened to be my master bathroom that backed up to the master bedroom closet. By chance, Matt was able to find the leak by feeling around on the carpet in my closet. I am so thankful for all their help! They arrived quickly, and were very polite and professional. Ruined my plumbing. Wouldn’t come back to fix his mistake. When I called they cursed me out and hung up in my face.

My first impression was great! I asked toilet installation and they came to next day. Price was very reasonable. One week later, I found out that there was leaking at the basement and I made an appointment for next day. I texted him and got replied. It was 8pm, so he said he will call me back between 8:30-9a. I didn’t get a call so I called him around 11:30a and he said he never got the text last night!? But he said they can come between 4p-6p. No one showed up after 6p, so I called the company 6p, 8p, next day I’d 8a, 11a. I gave up.

I was very pleased with North Atlanta Plumbing. Brandon is a very talented guy with a competent team that repiped my entire house. They walked me through the procedure and gave me an idea of the work involved. I just bought my house about a month ago and discovered I had severe plumbing issues (copper pipes with pinholes and a terrible DIY job in the basement). NAP’s estimate was better than the competition and the warranties are exceptional.

UPDATE: Beware this company is hard to reach and schedule appointments once you’ve had initial service. The owner has poor communication skills and won’t call you back. I called 3 times but got the run around. I guess I’ll call someone else. Disappointed.

My old water heater was leaking. I call North Atlanta plumbing and talked with Mr. Donahue the owner. He was very nice and courteous. He Agreed to send his technicians by 10 am. Matt and Rusty arrived on time. They were courteous and professional. They were very meticulous and completed the job within 2.5 hours. I scheduled an appointment several days in advance and listened a long speech from the owner on how they honor their word and estimated price, how they are available 24*7.

Their visit was planned for today between 12 PM and 2 PM. I was staying home waiting, no one showed up. Called them and talked to the owner after the scheduled appointment time, and was told that he was about to call to let me know that they can only make it on Monday, and if I'm unhappy with this I can find somebody else.
What is worse, they can not guarantee that the same situation won't repeat next time as this is plumbing, and what was supposed to take 1 hour can take 3. This is all any needs to know about their honored word, estimates and, I bet, pricing.
Of course nobody will compensate my wasted hours.

When we bought our house, the hot water worked but it was the original from 1994. Of course, we knew it would eventually need to be replaced. That day came yesterday (on a Sunday of course) when we discovered a big leak from the bottom of the HWH and a flooded garage. I had been saving coupons for this inevitable emergency and called the first company - they could come out on Tuesday they said. Really? I needed to shower! Plus I was on hold forever and the price they quoted me seemed high. Next call: North Atlanta Plumbing. They answered on the first ring. Their prices were super low AND they had a technician come out 3 hours later to drain the HWH line & stop the leak -AND no charge at all even on a Sunday! Right now, on Monday morning, less than 24 hours later, they are installing our new HWH. They called several times to confirm the appointment and arrived early. What great customer service! Shout out to Brandon, John, Blake & Red for being so smart, professional and nice. Would highly recommend them!

Great quality work, on time, and at a fair price. They deliver what they promise with no surprises. I had Rusty and Matt over to replace an old HWH today and they clearly know what they are doing. They know the code requirements, fixed some errors from the prior install and had it installed within 2 hours. I will be using them for all future plumbing needs.

They technicians were professional , timely and explained the worked to be performed in detail. Work appears to be of quality. Only suggestion , consider wearing shoe booties or different shoes than worn when doing outside work. Please with overall service provided.

Please know that I am retracting the negative comments that I made in my original post. I exaggerated the severity of the slopiness on our carpet. The first time the plumber came out he tried fixing something that had nothing to do with my clogged sink. After 3 tries he listened to me and saw what the real problem was. He left my sink leaking so I called to try and get it fixed. All I got in return was screaming, rudeness, and someone hanging up on my face. Will not deal with this company ever again.

I called today to report a suspected leak in a water heater installed by North Atlanta Plumbing in Feb 2017. Matt and Rusty came out less than 6 hours from the time I called and made the repair in 30 min. The most awesome part was that even though the leak was not in a pipe section installed by North Atlanta Plumbing, they fixed it at no charge anyway. Unbelievable customer service!!!

Mr. Donahue installed my hot water heater, 14 months later it would not stay lit. A part was recalled and he got here fast and replaced it. No charge.

Had a water heater leak. It was an odd size and setup, but Matt and Rusty came right out and knocked the job out quickly.

The gentlemen just left my house and they were a pleasure to do business with! I simply needed my pressure regulator valve replaced on my recently purchased home but I got their contact info from co-workers who used them to replace water heaters for nearly half the price of the names you hear on the radio! They even caught something blatantly wrong with my water heater that the inspector somehow missed and fixed it for me for next to nothing. Will definitely be using them when my WH gets to replacing age!

I had a new water heater installed in Dec 2021, but they damaged the siding of my home during the installation process. I've called numerous times to request correction of this issue, and they went silent. I should have paid attention to the reviews mentioning the unresponsiveness of this company. This is extremely unprofessional!

Live in a condo community. Needed a PRV valve replaced where the water comes into my house. Scheduled an appointment and gave the community 2 days notice about the potential for having the community water cut off. Didn’t show up. Called and he said they were still on another job. Too late to notify the community. So rescheduled for a first appointment today. 9:30 arrival and notified the community. Again no show and no call. Finally call the owner to find out what’s going on and another excuse. He could have called me earlier to tell me he couldn’t make it, but chose not to. Makes me look a little stupid continually notifying the community so many times. Recommend not using them. Not reliable.

I used North Atlanta Plumbing for several services in my home. While initially everything wasn't up to my specific requests, the owner did come back out to review and try to fix them. Unfortunately it took 3 visits to get everything corrected. I'm still waiting, after another 4 weeks, for a call or visit, just to get a faucet box returned to me so I can take the old one back to the store. I'll update my rating when that is done.

I had a high water pressure problem but John and Brandon came out and fixed it right away. Very reasonable price as well. I will continue to use them and am getting another quote to have them replace my older water heater. Highly recommended and will tell all my friends too.

North Atlanta Plumbing came out in one day to re-attach my sink to my countertop in my kitchen. They arrived on time during the window and completed the work quickly and professionally. Rusty and Matt were great! They installed a new hot water heater. They were detailed in review of their work, on-time, and even cleaned up afterwards,. They are professionals in their approach and very careful with keeping you informed. The job was a little more difficult with a hot water heater in a closet that was built around the unit. They accomplished it with little or no mess at all. Would definitely recommend these plumbers!

Basically, I had a leak in the main water pipe located in my basement. The two employees that came were Bobby and Danny. I believe Bobby was the lead person but they both were very professional. Bobby assessed the leak and explained what they needed to do to fix it. In fact I received a call from Bobby when they were on their way to pickup the product; and he also contacted me when they left the store to let me know the approximate time they would get to my house.

Both Bobby and Danny were very patient trying to fix the leak due to the constant rain. They also made sure to clean up after. I am very pleased with the job they did.

I will definitely contact your company again if I have any other plumbing issues; and I will gladly recommend you.

AWESOME !! Matt and Rusty from North Atlanta Plumbing installed a water heater and everything was included as well as a 10 year warranty on parts and labor!!! I had no extra add ons!!! They were prompt with a call ahead with the ETA! They were clean neat and very professional! They even took care of a few minor plumbing issues for a fraction of what others charged. I highly recommend North Atlanta Plumbing.

I'm seeing a few reviews of people saying they were screamed at and hung up on by the owner and that checks out. I can't really comment on the quality of their work because I didn't get that far. Guy John came out to do an estimate and it came back quite a bit higher than the loose estimate I was given over the phone, but I get that, so I called back to talk about options and the scope of the project. Had a hard time getting a word in really with the owner Arthur but when I finally got a chance to ask some questions, like 'you're telling me you won't install a shower door?' (apparently they don't according to him; I need a 'professional' to certify a door) he shouted 'you're being extremely argumentative, good luck with your project you're gonna pay twice as much' and hung up on me mid sentence. I didn't even get a chance to talk about budget with him. Funny thing is I have a budget for my project and he could've still made money off me but he didn't even let me speak. This was a personal referral from a family member to boot so that's a bad look because they have already decided to never refer to or do business with this unprofessional clown again. They must be real flush with work because this isn't a great way to win new customers.

I called North Atlanta Plumbing after receiving an outrageous quote from Home Depots sub-contracted plumber (over 1300 for just the installation) I have seen North Atlanta's ad flyers many times in the mail. So gave Arthur a call to setup an estimate. He informed that wouldn't be necessary as his price is 985, no more no less. Arthur was sincere and honest and that is something you don't get often from some companies. His men showed up on time and were polite, and to my amazement completed the job in a a little over 2 hours, my install was pretty typical in the basement and easy access. All I can say is you can't go wrong with North Atlanta Plumbing!

Just gave them a try. They were on time, did a great job at a very very reasonable price. They did a professional job as I know since I have had lots of work done on my properties over 35 years. Will be using them again. And saving some bucks yet can sleep knowing the job was done right.

North Atlanta plumbing was a great experience from the initial phone call with the owner, who promptly answered and scheduled same day service on a Sunday, to the diagnosis. Matt came out within hours of that call and spent a significant amount of time on a Sunday afternoon to find an elusive water leak in our kitchen. He didn’t stop until he found it! Thank you North Atlanta Plumbing we will sleep better tonight!!

The first techs they sent out were great, but didn't solve the problem. After having to call the owner several times over two weeks, he finally sent two very rude techs, who still didn't solve the problem. We reached out to the owner to address the rudeness and discovered that he was the rudest employee of all. Will never use this company again for our home.

From the moment Mister Donahue picked up his phone, I knew this company was different than the rest. I felt like I was calling my uncle, who Gets things done. He quickly put my worries at ease, and assured me that every thing would be ok. This company missed the first appointment because he had forgot and suggested he was poorly organized. An excellent service. Our old water heater broke on a Friday night and they were at our home within 45 mins to help turn off the water. We had a new water heater installed the very next day (Saturday). We are very grateful for the fast and diligent service!

I purchased a new water heater July 2020. Everything was fine until it stopped working. Yesterday 6 months later. .called 10:00 am and owner said he would call me back in an hour. I called 4 more times left messages on answering machine. Next day still no call back. They do not stand behind the products they sell. Unprofessional and shameful way to do business!!! We called Friday afternoon to advise of a water leak, we were told at 4:15 Friday afternoon by their on call plumber that he was on the way and was about 45 minutes away. We called several times on his cell phone and the guy never even answered the call.We had never used them before and will never ever contact them and I suggest the same for anyone seeing this review to do the sane! I usually use the google ratings but this company is a joke! I gave 1 star because i had to in order to post this but they are a definite zero in my book!
