The crew that replaced the two water heaters in my 90 year old moms house were very professional an hard working. They explained what they were going to do an why. we had a sewage clog in our building that turned out to be related to our cast iron 6 pipe having about 1 scaling around the inner diameter. contacted four plumbers to do the job. two of them recommended Fletch Barney. one said that in case the job goes south, they would subcontract Fletch Barney. I figured I should call them directly!

after the initial inspection, I was still uneasy about the scope. when I called, Mr Fletcher took the time to chat with me and educate me on the process, assuring me I was making the right call.

best decision I could have made. the price was well under the other plumbers' quotes and they did a great job -- my cast iron line is now smoother than the day it was installed some 120 years ago.

I originally scheduled Fletch-Barney to fix a leaking faucet and replace some parts in our toilets. The morning of our appointment I found our water heater (18-years old) was leaking from the bottom. I called F-B and talked to Ashley. I asked her to re-purpose my appointment to a water heater replacement. She took care of everything, making sure the right heater was put on the truck and the men coming to install it knew about the changes to the original plan.

I was particularly happy with the two plumbers who delivered and installed the new water heater after removing the old one. They were professional and friendly, answering all the questions I asked them. After installing the water heater they fixed the leaking faucet in a bathroom and replaced worn parts in three toilets.

I have found my new plumbing company.

I haven't actually had work done by Fletch-Barney but just after dealing with their office manager Kristen. I can say she lacks professionalism, basic manners and organization to run an office.

My first interaction with her was getting a message that a work order had been placed for my unit. First I don't own a unit. I own an actual townhome. Had I heard of the work order? nope. So I call to confirm that she's called the right person.

To which I had an unpleasant conversation of her being annoyed of me asking details of what was supposedly an issue with my home. This was a Tuesday. She tells me she needs to schedule an appointment. I tell her I won't be home until Friday. She grumpily tells me to call back Friday.

I call back Friday morning and get some other girls that tells me the appointment had been set for 3-5 on Friday. I ask who set this appointment and she tells me my neighbor. So I ask am I needing to be home then. I was told yes. My schedule did not allow for that. I was told if I wasn't home during that time I may not have water when I return so I had to be there.

I rearranged my whole day last minute to get a call after three that afternoon to let me they weren't going to make it out due to the rain.

Then I'm given a new time of 3-5 pm on Wednesday. Again not asked if this is the best time for me.

It's 12:30 on Wednesday and there's a guy just messing with my water in the rain. Does he introduce himself to let me know he's there? Nope. Does he really know why he's out there? Nope. Did anyone call to give me a heads up about the change of schedule? Nope.

The dude was able to tell me the HOA sent. Well the HOA does not own my home so the HOA does not have the right to grant permission to my home so you actually have to make sure I'm cool with what's going on.

Purely gross professionalism at this company.

Update 3 weeks later.
I have asked to speak to the owner several times and be ignored. I got a call mid week again from Kristen telling me there is a work order on my place and she demands I be home Friday 3-5 (today). I return home from work later that day and I don't see any water coming from my place. I do see it coming from two doors down. So I call Fletch-Barney and get the after hours answering lady that was super polite. I ask can someone confirm that it is my place that needs the work. She tells me she'll have Kristen call me back. That was Tuesday evening. Wednesday no call. Thursday I call back and no one knows what up. Friday I call and no answer. The window was between 3-5. Well no one showed up between 3-5 today for any of my neighbors. Once again no consideration for people's calendars or lives. More complete unprofessionalism. My whole neighborhood is fed up.

People have been living with temporary water lines for over 6 months due to inactivity by Fletch-Barney.

Highly recommend. Roland and DJ were extremely professional and courteous and took the time to explain the work every step of the way and took no shortcuts. They went above and beyond to complete the job completely and efficiently and to leave my yard and the surrounding area as clean and put back together as they found it. I would not hesitate to use Fletch Barney again and personally request that work be done by Roland and DJ.

Fair pricing and accurate timing. Victor came by an looked at the leak outside the house and quoted me $800 and explained that it could be more or could be less depending on how far they need to dig to get to the leak. They showed up as scheduled (which rare for a plumber) and performed the repair, 2 hours later job completed. The final bill was $620. Three other companies quoted me in the range of $1,500~1,700. I will recommend this company.

I was recommended to use this company last week so I was excited to work with them and have my plumbing issues fixed! First off, they showed up without any prior information and didn’t have the equipment to do the work that I called them for. Secondly, the woman who answers the phone quoted me an assessment price 1 week before our service date. An invoice was not sent to me to verify what was discussed so naturally when the service men came to our house, they told me a different price. When we called the office, the same women had the nerve to argue with me about the price she quoted verses what we discussed the prior week. Now whether she just didn’t explain their fees well could very well have been the case however, her lack of understanding and unwillingness to work with the customer couldn’t be denied. She demanded that I pay the amount with little care about the misunderstanding. The only reason why I gave them 2 stars was because Jeremy and his associate were kind, apologetic, and very helpful. My advice, find a company who cares a little more about customer service because those are usually companies that you can trust. If you decide to use Fletch Barney, make sure they send you a quote so all parties are on the same page.

John and Galin came out to fix my clogged kitchen sink. This is the first time I've used a plumber so I had a lot of questions about the process and I was also concerned about the cost. The person I made the appointment with wasn't very patient answering my questions, but Fletch-Barney is an approved vendor for my complex so I took a chance with them. John and Galin were professional and patient with me. I asked John to tell me if there's anything they're going to do that will cost me extra money, and he did exactly that. There were no surprise charges at the end! (apparently, if they have to use any expensive specialized machine to fix a problem, they will charge you for the use of the machine). Because their minimum charge is for an hour, and my sink was fixed within 40 minutes, I had them check out a leak and my bathroom sink and they were happy to do so and gave me some advise. I appreciate John and Galin for making my first plumbing experience painless.

I am extremely pleased with the work from Fletch-Barney to fix the plumbing problems at my house! I have had this issue for years where backup/clogs were happening almost every two years. Victor and Nate came out and took care of the clog that day but also assessed my bigger plumbing problem and talked through my options with me, which I had heard from another plumbing company nearly 2 years prior for nearly double the cost that Fletch-Barney charged.

Victor was very knowledgeable and provided the most comprehensive explanation so I could really understand what they needed to do. He answered all my questions and what if's that made me feel comfortable to have him come back and do the job. In my case, the if that doesn't work, we'll have to do... ended up happening after digging up my front lawn to uncover that Plan A was not going to work. Victor reassessed and brought out the big guns - the owner, and they assured me that drilling into my foundation would resolve my problem from happening again. It turned out to be a much bigger job than what I originally expected, but Victor and Nate made sure that I was fully functioning and my yard was back to order before they left that night - they even brought in additional guys to make sure they could get done before it got super late. All the work and communication they did really eased my mind and reassured me that I made the right decision to use Fletch-Barney.

Very punctual, showed up at the first opportunity in our window. Very honest as well. When they had to call a specialist due to the nature of the problem billing was very fair and was adjusted due to how long it took to diagnose the problem.

Unexpected home repairs are never fun to have to deal with especially involving plumbing problems. Victor arrived as scheduled and was ready to inspect the water pressure issue. He was friendly and took the time to explain the problem and the needed repairs to me in detail. After completing the job, he checked to make sure everything was working properly and to my satisfaction. He also gave an overview of the repairs he completed.
