Update to my review:

Just this morning I got a Yelp compliment from a person named Darren W. The compliment said:

It seems like your window is the only one with a problem , maybe you damaged it taking it out and reinstalling it.

I called Bell Glass and asked for Darren W. They said he wouldn't be in until the afternoon. So this guy either works for or owns this place.

Is this any way to treat a customer? Apparently this place only does perfect work...if anything is wrong it is the customer's fault.

Wow! Great business practice! I hope that somebody reads this review and sees that this place isn't as perfect as they seem.

I always hate to leave a bad review, but I wasn't impressed with Bell Glass. To begin with, the person I spoke to when I initially called gave me an estimate for the work being done at my house, but strongly suggested that it would save me money by bringing the window into the store. I went through the trouble of taking the window out by myself so I could bring it in.

The guy that helped me was not friendly by any means, and he just took the window and frame and told me when it would be ready. When I asked him how much it would cost, he acted annoyed. I decided to rely on the reviews and let them impress me with their quality.

When I returned to pick up the window the next day, my attempt to pay the bill with my card was met with a muttering of cash or check only. Thanks. That would have been helpful information to give me when I dropped it off the previous day. I guess I'll go find an ATM to pay your antiquated shop with. The guy this afternoon was just as unfriendly as the guy from the day before. Maybe even more so.

As an aside, I think that the way I was treated by both guys might have something to do with my age, or rather how young I look. I'm almost 40, but I get mistaken for mid-20's all the time. I find that there's a lot of discrimination based on age with these old trades guys sometimes. If I was a 60 year old that looked like a 60 year old, I bet they would have bent over backwards to help me and be polite to me.

I loaded the window in my car and brought it home. Only after reinstalling it did I inspect it more thoroughly. My mistake! The workmanship seems to be very poor. I'm looking at it next to my 20 year old windows, and the difference is stark. The stripping around the corners looks to be pulled out on the new windows, whereas on the 20-year-old windows it is tucked in nice and tight. The seam where the stripping meets on the new windows has a 1/2 gap that was filled in with some black goo on the new window. There is no visible seam on the old window. I posted some pictures of what I'm seeing. Maybe I'm wrong, and this is how windows are supposed to look these days, but it just looks poorly made to me.

I have another window that needs to be replaced, but I think I'm going to do a little research and find a place that treats all of their customers well and does higher quality work.

They did a great job all around. Clean installation and very professional. Had the door installed in half a day. Would use them again.

Justin was polite, professional and skilled at replacing my windshield … it took about an hour overall ... he even spent a few extra minutes to make sure my rear view mirror was adjusted correctly and my service stickers were put back in place.

I just had my windshield replaced by Clayton. From the beginning this company was so accommodating in every way. They had it approved with insurance and added me to the schedule before we were even off the phone. Clayton was so efficient, calling me with updates on his estimated arrival and even finished in less time than I was quoted. He gave thorough details on aftercare, and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. It's so great to finally find a company with genuinely nice people and friendly attitudes. Frank and John Took good care of my 1956 Chevy Hardtop , Came right to the house Early , and fitted the new windshield and Gasket , just washed it and of course,,, No Leaks ,,,Great Job , from two 'car guys '

We respectfully declined to bid on your windows with no explanation of why. I provided window size, color of frames, trim, hardware. Do not use a company that will not give a quote without a consultation. From MY experience companies like that have 3 reason why they don't.
1. High pressure sales tactics
2. Priced to high
3. Have subpar products

Taylor was excellent with scheduling the service and working out the claim with my insurance company. However, my only complaint is that the windshield was installed too low and only the bottom half of the VIN number can be seen through the bottom of the windshield. Other than that the service was great!
