Highly recommend this company. I had a water leak in our water meter pit due to a burst yoke and our front yard and street were being flooded. Our water company would not shut the water off to the pipe that was leaking because it would have impacted our whole street. We called multiple plumbers who all told us that unless the water was turned off, they could not fix the issue and that they would have to excavate our front yard to repair the issue. I was given quotes to repair the issue ranging from 3 to 6 thousand dollars. When I called McDougalle, they sent a crew out to review the situation and within minutes I was told they could fix the issue without the water company turning off the water and without tearing up my whole front yard and at a fraction of the price other companies were quoting me. They did the job quickly, got the problem fixed, and saved me a lot of money. I almost never leave reviews for companies, but felt I had to do it here because they were a real life and money saver!

I use Thornton for plumbing in my own house, as well as for my business (interior design). They have always done an excellent job, whether it's installing new water heaters and softeners or changing out old faucets. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.

Bill was great! After a couple of weeks of our garbage disposal not working, we scheduled an appointment. He texted to confirm the time the night before and let me know he may be a little late due to an earlier appointment - awesome communication - and only showed up a few minutes past 10:30. He was quick, efficient, had no issue pinpointing the problem (how a rock managed to get down there, I’ll never know), and was in and out in 15 minutes, leaving me with a fixed garbage disposal, a quick dejamming-a-garbage-disposal how-to, and the knowledge that if it leaks, it’s gotta get replaced. Person who answered phone was unbelievably rude! Wouldn’t let me speak. When I tried to get a word in she actually HUNG UP ON ME! Try the Drainman.

I called today 11/25/17 around 1 pm the person who's answered the phone were very rude and disrespectful, she supposed send someone to my house no one show up or call me I do not recommend it.

These guys are awesome. After a dispute with the neighbor that hired them, they saw that what the neighboring business wanted completed was not right. & Rob was a huge assistance to me in workin with the city & standing behind what was right in my favor & I wasn't even the customer that hired them. It's so hard to trust companies anymore in today's world but Second Opinion is definitely very trustworthy & respectful. If I ever do need a plumber, I know where I'm callin.
