Best Bathroom Remodelings in Phoenix, AZ

I contracted with Maxum to be the General Contractor for a total remodel of our recently purchased 2,750 sq. ft. home. A 75 day project is currently at 112 days. The end date is at least another 20 days away.
Every week there is a change in supervisors, laborers and sub-contractors. There is absolutely zero consistency in project progress. My wife and I have often acted as GC with workers looking towards us to provide direction.
As cheap as possible seems to be Maxum's mission statement. This has resulted in delays, redos and very intense disagreements as to how to move forward. Maxum has caused extreme anxiety for my wife and I along with unexpected costs for temporary relocation and for day to day living expenses.
The remodel results so far look very nice but only because of our very active role as designers and quality control managers.
This job did not need to be this painful. Maxum provided no concern for our input, promises made or common sense direction. We believe that our job was Maxum's first project based upon their total mismanagement of planning, product procurement, customer relations and day to day supervision and direction of employees and subcontractors.
If I were to start fresh, the contract would be much more specific related to project details and materials. I would also have included penalties for missed progress dates.

The construction and maintenance team at PJ Hussey is spectacular. They're very quick to respond to requests and they usually send somebody out to take care of an issue the next day. Special thanks to Tom and Norm for being so kind, careful, and diligent when I needed some help at my apartment. It can be intimidating inviting a stranger into your home when you live by yourself but these gentlemen were very pleasant and objective.

I have worked with Jeff for over 5 years in our home remodel projects. His knowledge is broad because he has done all jobs related to cabinets and countertops working his way from the ground up. He knows design and installation like no other. His skill set is critical because he never overlooks the tiny little details that make a huge difference in the end. He is easy to reach, prompt to return calls and does his very best to be available to meet you at the showroom, or at your job site, to accommodate your needs. He is on time for appointments, communicates with you about the status of your order so you can keep your contractors lined up and keep your schedule on track. Not everyone does all this, or has people that understand the importance of timing. We have shopped around a lot, and twice used other companies, but learned our lesson and just go to Jeff for our cabinet or countertop needs now. I hesitate to refer anyone, but Jeff is one of only 3 people I would recommend to others. (For the other two, one does hardscapes and one is a painter.) Getting my drywall repaired in my bathroom and garage was easy once I called this company. I first had an appointment for one of their team members who came over and took some pictures. Later the same day I received an estimate that was reasonable considering the amount of work that needed to be done. My project was finished and it looks so good my neighbors can't even tell the previous damage happened. Thank you.

We did a total remodel of our house. When I wasn’t happy with something, they fixed it. They weren’t good about cleaning up after themselves. I told them I wanted the ceilings painted white, but Jake picked his own color of off white. One of the windows they put in was faulty and months later they replaced it, had it stuccoed, but never came back to paint it. They don’t respond to my texts. I painted it myself. We are happy with the end result, but you have to keep on them.

Working with Randy Smith at Diamond Kitchen and Bath was wonderful! He is very professional and yet easy going, making the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Diamond and Randy due to their selection and quality, and complete process. Our cabinets were expertly installed and look beautiful!
