I normally never bother to write reviews, but I have to share what was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to warn others of how they may get treated.

In April 2018, I paid in full for Chris to put together plans for my rather large back yard. Contacting him is an extreme pain - do not bother calling their business number as you will get connected with someone who seems like they could care less about your concerns. I emailed Chris roughly 15 times over the past 5 months and called countless times to try to get updates on blown deadlines, which there were 4 of them and countless excuses.

He eventually agreed to come meet at my house to try to right things and talk details of the plan, which came out to be incorrect twice (probably because there was such a long gap between the meeting and when he sent me the next drawing).

Finally in September of 2018, after missing the deadline for the 'final plan' twice, he sends me a drawing with no dimensions, no renderings, no estimates, and no water/power/gas line configurations like I had asked for. When I asked him about it - the drawing is 'to scale'. Now nobody can do any work without converting the plot plans to what a PDF hopefully correctly converts tiny measurements to.

All of this to say, I highly warn anyone who doesn't have money in hand (do not pay in full before the job is done, or this may happen to you too) for a specific job and dimensions ready to go to work with Lone Star. They really need to work on their communication and committing to promises. I am now out almost $2,000 with no workable plan. I am hoping they will now bother to call me and correct this imbalance.

Our flagstone patio turned out super well! They did a great job listening to what we were looking for and had some awesome creative suggestions that we adopted and loved. Definitely would recommend!

Sal and his team were amazing to work with. We love the artificial turf and pavers. Sal was very responsive, professional and very reasonably priced. Will recommend him to anyone we know looking to get landscaping done.

Go with this company if you want your yard destroyed like they destroyed mine. Tree trimmers went through my yard like a herd of buffalo, damaging plants and just letting big limbs they cut fall on fragile plants. When I confronted them about it the Foreman said: They will grow back. Called company to complain and they send a Manager out. He exclaimed how horrible the damage was and went around taking lots of notes. When he left, he drove off and left his notebook in the front yard! They are a bunch of non-caring screw-ups.

It's hard to find a great, reliable, consistent landscaper.
But, with Big Nick's I won't have to look again!
The attention to detail and pride in his works shines as he always makes my yard look like best one on the block! I would definitely recommend using him. And he's a super nice guy!

We had them come on Saturday 04/27/2019 and they did an amazing job. Ivan is such a nice guy and did everything we asked them to do. Our yard looks amazing, our palm trees look awesome. We even have them coming once a month for yard care to maintain. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

There were a couple mishaps but they did fix them all. I love how my back yard looks now.

Horrible company and horrible service! Do NOT go with them for your landscaping needs! Once they have your money they will string you along and of course not communicate with you at all. You suck gothic!!

It was a pleasure using this company. Our trees were pretty neglected due to how big and difficult they were to trim. We have six and can rarely afford to have them cut. When we have in the past, not only was it expensive, but many times we have been left to do the clean up and disposal. I could not believe how reasonably priced they were and was partially skeptical at first. The team that showed up was professional and extremely efficient. They did such an amazing job, my neighbors were texting to compliment their work. We could not be more appreciative and have found our guys for future jobs!

I hate to write a negative review about anyone but I’m so disappointed by the lack of response and follow up from this company. They came out to repair some broken pipes which they did well, but didn’t show up when they said they would to fill in a hole in our yard and never completed the work we paid for in fixing our irrigation in our yard. We have called four times and left messages and with zero response.
