Mountainscapers did a fabulous job completely redoing my backyard patio and plantings, from the design to the installation. Sean had many good ideas and was always responsive during the project. His staff were very professional and courteous and such diligent workers! I could not be more pleased with the final result.

Hiring Lone Star was such a great decision. They turned our basic desert landscape into an incredibly living space. It transformed our backyard into a functional space that we can now entertain guests with. They were professional and had a great portfolio of work to get inspiration from. You can tell they have been doing landscaping for a long time. Great work and love our new outdoor space.

Straight Line was professional and the design was excellent. They were on time and the landscape is beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a company to realize their dream backyard from beginning to end.

I am able to say that my experience with Ground Zero was, much to my surprise and relief, a positive one. I was looking forward to having my back deck done complete with a barbecue and fire pit, but I was not looking forward to the process of getting it done.

I went with Ground Zero because I had a friend of mine who recommended them and was happy with her experience. The owner, Chad, made the process seamless. I was impressed with the final design that Chad created based on the ideas that I gave him. I highly recommend Ground Zero. I will also be using them for improvements on rental properties that I have throughout the Valley.

We have had great interactions with Masterscapes. They were on time, gave us some great ideas, and were really responsive to our ideas and questions. We've had them redo our front and back yards and both projects look beautiful. Their prices are fair and the quality of workmanship is great. We would definitely use them again.

My yard was a hot mess. Tons of over grown weeds they took them down and made it beautiful.

Derek and the entire team were fantastic from start to finish. Very responsive to all of our requests, open to our suggestions but also extremely helpful in guiding us through our backyard redesign and making helpful suggestions. The final product exceeds our high expectations and was done on time and on budget. Thanks to Derek and the whole team, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we now have a backyard we love!

These guys are great! Luis came out for a quote on Saturday and started work the following Monday. Our new sod was laid in 2 days and looks great. Luis is very friendly and his crew does a nice job. I would recommend them for sure!

Hired Jose for a general yard clean up and he did a good job. A couple of months later I hired him for monthly yard service. My lot is around 3/4 acre and we agreed on general cleanup excluding tree trimming for $175 per visit.

He and his team were punctual and stayed for about an hour which comes out to $58/hr per person. Front and back area looked good after they finished and Jose needed to get paid right then and there. After they left I discovered that the side area of my yard looked untouched and branch clippings that we had agreed to be picked up where left behind.

I texted him and his response was I do it next month. Since I don't want to stare at a pile of debris for an entire month I politely asked him to come back before next month and to complete the job. He agreed and said next week. I didn't hear from him for 5 days and reached out when he would come. His response: I'll come by tomorrow and pick it up, but in the future I will only pick up branched that we cut off. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor by coming back even though it was part of the scope when he quoted me.

Needless to say he didn't show up when he promised he would. I then proceeded to call him to see when he would come back and he just hung up the phone on me. At almost $60/hr per person I expect better service!

Hire him at your own risk. He is a charming guy and fooled me.

Also keep in mind of all the 5 star reviews he is one of the reviewers himself: Jose Rodriguez. The rest are probably friends and family.

I can only say this is a disingenuous company. I asked for a quote and they sent someone out. I explained what I needed done and they provided a price. I agreed to the price and paid 1/2 upfront as they requested. The day they arrived my wife explained to the foreman how she wanted certain plants trimmed which was no different that my explanation provided to their estimator. 10 minutes later I received a call from their office saying that now my property was determined to be a clean-up and cost $120/hr.. I asked why? The girl said because of what my wife described. When pushed to explain in detail the girl could not. I expressed this is not what we agreed to and they packed up and left at my request. The owner called and explained I changed the scope (oh sorry that I asked to have one small bush removed and 1 out of 4 ficus nitida's needed slightly more trimming) even though 1/2 of my bushes did not need trimming nor the trees since I have another company manage them. I do understand that additional work may be an additional cost but the foreman should have mentioned that up front , even if he had to confirm with his office (the owner disagreed and said that was not his job). So, by the time I was on the phone with their office, the plant was already out. At the end of the day, a difficult company to do business with.

3/15 - From my perspective 1 small bush removal should not constitute a change of scope to a total clean-up. I again reiterate that the foreman prior to removal of the bush should have simply stated sir, this may be an additional cost, let me check with my office and confirm before I start the work. I explained this to Victor who said that is not the foreman;s job. Perhaps Victor you should change your policy and empower your foreman with the ability to at least advise of a pending additional cost before doing the actual work and then check in with your office. It's pretty obvious Victor that it's your way, and not your customer's and when push comes to shove, the right side is your side, not the customer's.

They did a nice job cleaning up the back yard and could do it right away.

The 1st time they were ok. Hired through home warranty. 2nd time disaster from hell. They damaged my driver side car window. The stop working and took off job incomplete.
Comttact owner. They were worst. NoNo work ethics at al showed them the damaged they denied i it. Showed
the incomplete job. They refused to do anything. They lied and Said they refunded my money for services. TheyBeware of this horribllied. w casecond tome of service was a nightmare. My car was parked in my driveway. They broke my drives car window. The y did not tell me that they had damaged the window. The did not finish the job at all. The grab there gear and ran off. The owners of this company was just as bad as the workers.

all the things you look for in a service provider/contractor, I will use them again.

This was the first time my family and I have had to go through this very stressful situation. AZ Environmental Contracting was transparent in every step.
