Golden Landscaping

Recieved a flyer. After a few days of trying to get ahold of them, I finally did. They told me they always charge an initial clean up fee but I explained my yard has been maintained for years by the same landscaper (who unfortunately retired) so there is no 'clean up' needed. But they said there is always a minimum initial charge. I went ahead and made an appointment to get a quote for the weekly service but they never showed up!! I called several times but no luck getting a hold of them!
Why go through all the cost and labor or printing flyers, going house to house to get business then drop the ball?!???
So frustrating!!

This was the second time a crew from Golden Landscaping came to my home. The first time was really good. The second experience was very poor.

This time they arrived several hours late, and left leaves and branches throughout the yard. The crew didn't even attempt to blow stuff from the side of the house.

I can NEVER reach someone by phone the first time I call. I must always leave a message and hope someone returns the call within 24 to 48 hours. Hiring a crew first requires a visit from an estimator who arrives toward the latter end of a four-hour window.

Now the company no longer accepts credit cards. So I had to pay $290 in cash to get a royal palm tree trimmed, a dead bush removed, a dozen yucca sprouts clipped and to blow/rake the yard. Once the crew started work, they were done in 38 minutes.

When I noted that there was still debris in the yard, they looked at me with no habla eyes waiting to be paid. They won't be back.

The low reviews are deceptive and I urge you to look past them. This is a great company with a great team. Adrian is responsive and provided reasonably priced quotes on two projects we had done with them. We had a large demolition of a gazebo type structure with a pit the size of a small swimming pool filled in. We were very nervous about this project but it was done flawlessly and the cleanup was done well. We also had a large tree trimmed and a raised ledge in our backyard removed. The team showed up every day between the communicated time window and each job was done in a timely manner. Payment wasn't collected until each job was completed which is contrary to some other reviews.

Have used them 4 times. Exceeded expectations again! They are our go to first for landscaping needs. Have not been disappointed yet.
Golden just finished a very awkward trim of a tree between a shed and brick fence. They gave again exceeded our expectations. Fast, efficient and reliable. Thanks Adrian and team.

They were supposed to have installed 8 tons of rock in front and back yard, what was delivered to be before 6 am in the morning looks nothing like 8 tons and so much of the yard does not even have the new rock. They started the job around 6.30 sawing a tree down, I live in a quiet neighborhood and I am sure the neighbors did not like that. I asked about the rock they looked at the sheet and said it was 8 tons. I would avoid these people at all cost.

I have used Golden Landscaping a few times, pavers, removal of a tree, removal of rock in front and replaced with new, firepit , a tree well. Adrian has always taken my calls, and listened to what I wanted done. The job they did was fantastic, looks excellent and done in a timely matter, also did very good on clean up. I will defiantly use them again.

Don't expect them to do everything they charge you for. Skipped 3 out if 11 items.

They do not return calls and hang up on you when they realize you are not a new customer.

Edit: After 6 weeks of calling they finally picked up and sent someone to finish the work. At this point I had already done 2 of the 3 items that were ignored the first time around.

Golden Landscaping put in our watering system and we have a significant water leak in the valve box they installed. I have left at least 4 messages for them to rectify the problem. No one will return my call.

They came a few weeks before Christmas & trimmed my 3 30ft queen palm trees that were simply out of control..WHAT A NICE DIFFERENCE they made!!

I had them clean my yard trim back trees, lay sod, install plants, fix aging irrigation system. They did a great job, and it was reasonalby priced.

Horrible job! Came to do a one time clean up and still had sticks and leaves all over! Didnt even make sure the driveway was completely clear of debris. And tons of leaves and debris under the bushes!! Dont waste your time or money!

Had a large demolition job done in our backyard. They did an amazing job and cleaned up well. They were affordable and on time.

Great experience with Adrian's team. Installed paver border, new sod, and 12 tons of landscape rock. I would definitely use them again

First time using this co. to trim my citrus trees. They did a great job at a reasonable price.

This is the worst landscaping I have ever had in my 30 years in AZ. Outrageously expensive for one older man for 70 minutes. There are still weeds in my yard. Meh

Littering advertisements. At least do a direct mailer.

The regularly and under multiple business names, litter little plastic bags of rocks and their flyers by throwing them into people's yards and driveways.

all the things you look for in a service provider/contractor, I will use them again.

Leaves flyers in your yard. Even if you call them and tell them not to.

Trash people who do trashy jobs and are trash.

Please stop throwing garbage in my driveway.

Zero regard for your property.
