Best Kitchen Remodel in Phoenix AZ

My wife and I would like to express our appreciation to John and his crew at Allure Bathroom Remodeling for the work done on our master bathroom. The remodeling included the conversion of a bathtub to the shower, installation of a new toilet, medicine cabinet,vanity top and faucet‘s. The demolition was done professionally with an absolute minimum of disruption and mess. The guys are really neat. Michael and Sean were professional and added many personal touches to the work being done. The project came in on budget and was done within the time promised. The techs, Brad and Darien were on time and finished in a timely manner. The work is beyond beautiful, its perfect. Both techs were very helpful and thoroughly explained the features of my new shower and answered all my questions. No doubt in my mind I will have the same company do my other shower.

Dreamstyle replaced the shower in my master bathroom. It looks beautiful. The work was finished in 2 days. Max S and Pablo A were friendly and very professional. Through the demo of old 1970s fiberglass shower I hardly knew they were there as I worked from home. A couple of adjustments had to be made, and they handled them like the experienced pros they are. The only downside is having to wait 36 hours to use it! My shower was transformed from a 1970s fiberglass yellowed monstrsity into a clean modern little oasis.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

The guy described things a lot more than others did. The pricing was maybe a little higher but it wasn't out of the realm and the thing I liked the most about them was their lifetime warranty. Highly satisfied.

Mike was not only just a contractor but also a guide helping us make the right choices and end product of the work is FANTASTIC.
Mike himself was very detail oriented in the work that was done and made sure the quality was top notch.

One example, as part of our renovation we installed a wall mounted fireplace. We had it installed and it looked fine.
Mike came to check it out and he was like NO i don't like the cable visible to the viewer, so he had custom cover made, painted and installed.
Which made it look super clean.
The over all experience of going with the Crafted for the home renovation was amazing and no stress.
All the work was done in a timely and professional manner and they went above and beyond our expectation.

They did work on our bathroom 5 years ago finding out recently. That they cut so many corners on the work they did . Would highly recommend not using them.

The salesman was very smooth talking and I probably paid way too much to have three bathroom showers redone.The guy that did the work did an excellent job though.

I selected Holtzman out of a large group of local companies as they seemed to have the best understanding and appreciation of what I wanted done, and were within price expectations. Rob Hardee was my Project Manager and my go to person.

The scope of work was as follows. The previous owner of my house enclosed the patio into an additional room but made some decisions that made is susceptible to water. The room flooded during the massive rain back in 2014. Since then we were keeping it clean but unused until we could afford to repair.

When it came time to repair we knew we wanted two things, raise the floor to the same height as the rest of the house, and remove concrete on the side of the house that was higher than the room. Most companies wither wanted to repair in place and not raise the room or do a full demo of everything. Rob Hardee was open to some alternatives recommended by friends of mine in the industry, he carefully considered the the options and we went with what I felt was the best option.

We did not overrun budget with the exception of a small amount on tile as the cost of tile we picked was higher than the estimate. With the refinancing boom we came to the table expecting that many construction companies were going to be stretched thin, but Rob was responsive to questions and communicative throughout the whole process so we were not concerned.

Absolutely will use HHI again when I have more remodeling to do.

Todd Whittaker Drywall did a small remodel In our master bedroom, and from the day Todd came out to talk to us about the project, we felt very comfortable using his company to schedule the work. The estimate was fair and timely even though we had a couple of change orders. We can't say enough about his staff who worked relentlessly from the time they arrived to the time their day was finished. Their cleanup was exceptional! Our project was completed on time based on their original estimated work days. We are very pleased with the finished project, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. I am so glad that I hired Maxum! I met with Stephanie and John and they came out and looked at my master bathroom and got measurements. I had a outdated bathroom and decided it was finally time to upgrade. I went to their showroom in Phoenix to pick out my tile and granite countertop the design they came up was AMAZING!! We loved working with Bret and the Rise Above team on our home remodel! Everything turned out so beautifully - the pictures speak for themselves. They only use the best products and features. We love having a pull out for our cutting boards / cookie sheets, built-in trash & recycling, lazy susan, etc. in our new kitchen. The timing for everything was perfect and the project stuck to plan.
