Best Repair Your Roof in Phoenix AZ

I would like to take a minute and write about Allstate Roofing Inc During a storm in July 2014 we took a lot of damage to our roof. I looked up several roofing companies on Home Advisor, Angie's List and the BBB (did a ton of research). We had 3 companies come out and give us quotes and from the minute I met Chad (owner of AllState) I knew we had found our roofer. He was passionate and professional and very informative. We had our insurance adjuster out (from an absolutely worthless insurance company that is not worth mentioning by name-discount double check). They denied our claim. I called Chad and asked him if he would be willing to meet with a 2nd adjustor and he jumped at the chance to help. Needless to say the second adjustor was worse than the first one and the roof still wasn't going to be covered. Chad worked with us on crunching numbers and we secured the financing to pay for the repairs. The Project Manager Johnny (we could not have hoped for a better guy to be running our roof project) came out 2 days before the project was to begin and went over everything with me and my wife. The crews that showed up were very professional and way beyond courteous. They were here early and worked late. They allowed me to add work as we went along and the costs were very reasonable. THE ROOF LOOKS AMAZING. Friends and Family drive by my house because they don't even recognize it anymore.

After obtaining bids from other roofers, I was delighted to meet with Craig, the owner of Brown Roofing, who impressed me with his knowledge and expertise in the roofing industry. I always appreciate dealing with a self-made businessman from a family-owned operation, who is experienced and goes the extra mile to satisfy his customers, rather than dealing with a corporate giant representative, who may be bouncing from job to job and who foremost is trying to impress his company rather than the customer.

Aside from Craig’s bid as a firm price and the extras he includes that other bidders did not, Craig’s enthusiasm for his projects is undeniable and contagious. I couldn’t wait to see the day-to-day progression of his team’s work. Not to mention, they were all friendly and seemed to share in Craig’s enthusiasm and pride in what they do.

One morning, the first worker at my house was touching up the stucco around the chimney. I never saw anyone sitting around doing nothing. It was an efficient and effective crew.

It seems like Craig believes that just about everything above the fascia boards is his to repair, replace, or repaint. My fascia boards that were rotting out were replaced and repainted, as was my rain gutter where needed…all included in his initial price! Everything looks fresh and new.
One week after completion, we experienced two days of rain from Tropical Storm Rosa. Since we had the two layers of underlayment under the tile, we couldn’t even hear when it first started lightly raining. Once it came down heavy, we noted that the water was draining everywhere it was supposed to be draining off the roof and patio roof. Perfect timing to see what a great job this team did!

The good about this company and their install was the cost and the fact that my roof did not leak.

Unfortunately, that was where the good stopped. I felt that many corners were cut on the installation. Photo below is an excellent example. Almeida will exclude painting from their scope (which is fair). But then they perform work, remove fascia (and in one spot - replace it with a 2x4), and install the roof in a way that does not allow you to come back and paint the wood they replace. I am not sure why this was done.

Also photoed are spots on my flat roof where the rolled roofing was bubbled. Their fix was to shoot sealant into the void, rather than heat up the roofing and reseal, which they told me they would do.

It took three return visits to correct issues. First pass included flashings missing and possibly the worst cut on a flat roof I have ever seen. My flat roof over the garage still has an area where the flashings seem to have a drop in them, but I've just accepted this is the way it is going to be now.

I felt the final visit to correct issues was the top guy. He was quite good, but could only do so much to salvage what had already been done.

All in all, if you're in a bind, these guys should be low and based on my experience, do care to make sure your roof doesn't leak. If you have the time to stand over their shoulder and manage the work, you'll probably be OK. But if you want something done with attention to detail, I'd recommend going elsewhere and paying a little more. I wish I had.

Very professional company covering Arrowhead region in the west valley. They stand by their work and do not try to gouge the customers for badly needed repairs. When the leaky roof was repaired in the summer, Castille Roofing did a partial repair where the source of the leak came from. However, over the Christmas holiday we received driving rain which caused more leaking in the same section. They gave us full credit for the work done in the summer and redid the repair work and covered a larger area. We were very grateful that they responded within a week of the new leaking even during the holiday season. All work is guaranteed and pictures of the repair were provided.

Patterson Roofing was very professional and kept us informed every step of the way. They worked with our insurance company as well which was a big help. The cost was very reasonable and they did amazing work. The workers were respectful of my tons of plants which was much appreciated because I know that they have a job to do. They also left us with some leftover shingles just in case which they didn't have to do. I much appreciate all of the work you did for us. Thanks!

We highly recommend Reimagine Roofing. They were one of a few companies willing to do a more complex roof, a clay 100% boosted roof. We called quite a few companies prior and many wanted to talk us out of it because they didn’t want to do the extra labor. That was not the case with Reimagine Roofing. They were more than happy to take on the challenge and they absolutely did! We felt Eric and his team were friendly and cared about the things that were important to us. Especially Eric, he was there every step of the way and always kept us in the loop. His team removed our old roof in a timely manner and the job got done in the time frame they allotted. The best part is, our roof turned out better then we could’ve imagined! We absolutely love it! They did an amazing job! If you get a chance, use this company it’s worth it!

Worst experience, I have ever had with a company! I signed my contract and gave my deposit back in December 2022, it is now March 2023 the materials have been sitting in front of my house for a month and I still don’t have a date as to when my repairs will be started! Dakota was my sales rep and after I signed my contract he just disappeared and I couldn’t get ahold of him. I was finally fed up with the lack of communication, so I reached out to get my deposit back. I was then in contact with Jason who is just as bad as Dakota the lack of communication is unreal! I have told them multiple times that this repair was emergent due to the leaking in my kitchen ceiling every time it rains, but no one seems to care about that! Highly recommend you find a different company to work with if you want to be able to get ahold of them and get updates or your project completed in a timely manner because you won’t get it with this company!
