The woman who answered the phone laughed at me multiple times through my inquiry, and was not able to provide even a general ballpark for a quote, though I’ve received multiple ballpark quotes from other contractors. I received their info through Home Depot to schedule a quote for a small residential job. If patronizing communication and little to no information is your style, go to these guys.

Austin was prompt, professional, courteous and thorough in his explanation of the work to be done. He walked me through all costs and options and even provided a discount when we needed to add a service because of the nature of the drainage issue. He made sure that our main sewer drain was cleared and that we were able to use our showers and toilets going into the weekend. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend for all plumbing needs!

We had some issues with the service tech about the cost and the cancellation of the job we wanted him to fix.We talked to the Client Manager and we did not agree to pay the asking service fee (higher than we thought) since the service was not fully performed as requested.Then the Executive GM called us. We talk about the story, the issues as well as the pro and con of the service.He understood the issue and wanted to make things right by waving the fee.I write this review because Doctor Fix-It management handled problem correctly from top level and I give them Kudos for reaching out to customers.To avoid any possible issue, make sure when you make an appointment, have them write down the note of the system you have andask them to send the right person to do the job. When the tech shows up, make sure that he understands and can fix the problem before he does his work.

Electrical and Wiring Repair
Had Brian come out and repair some old outlets and wiring, and he did a phenomenal job!. Very quick as well! Will be having him come out and install new light fixtures in our closet. 100% recommend!!

Needed to have one outdoor spigot replaced. Estimate was 1,300.00 dollars. Previous repair to replace this spigot was 200.00 dollars. When asked “why” the answer was that special tools were required and that he did not want to solder where there was some insulation. Special tools to replace a spigot. He said he could replace the valve on the spigot for 450.00 but that might not work. I got the previous team coming over and they guarantee the repair will not be 200.00 to fix this spigot. No more estimates from these folks. Bad and dishonest practice.EpilogueIt should be noted that the root cause of the spigot failure was a broken “Vacuum Valve”. Replacement of the broken part and service fee was $110,00. Spigot works perfectly. Less than 10 times the estimate assessed by the AAA technician.

Tipping Hat has a very good family owned business. They are responsive and provide quality service. The technicians are very knowledgeable. I had my HVAC system maintenance service completed today and the technician, Steven Jones, was very nice on time and professional. Explained everything to me and was very thorough.

Unexpectedly, our water heater went south on us mid morning on Saturday. I did the usual internet search for a local plumber. After calling numerous local services and not having any luck, one of the local plumbers suggested I give Blue Sky Plumbing, Heating, Cooling a call and I spoke with a very cordial representative. I explained our issue and needing to have the water heater replaced the very same day. She mentioned that they were very busy but she would try and find a plumber that would be able to perform the replacement. After a short time she returned the call and had found a plumber that would be able to complete a service call and give me a quote on what it would cost to replace the water heater. I indicated that rather than doing a service call that I would prefer to just go ahead with a replacement service. She agreed to my suggestion and informed me that the plumbers have the necessary equipment and parts already on their trucks. She asked me for some details on our existing water heater and forwarded that information onto the plumber doing the service call to make sure the plumber had the correct replacement. She then informed me that the plumber would arrive between 11am and 200pm and the plumber would call me when he was enroute to our residence. The plumber (named Marty) called us and arrived around 1 pm. Marty was very courteous and professional. He did a thorough investigation of our house plumbing and after discussing a few items agreed that replacing the water heater was the way to go. Marty started right away and I was impressed with his work ethic and professionalism. The replacement process was done correctly and neatly to our satisfaction. I thanked Marty for doing such as good job and for being able to come out on such short notice. Thank you Blue Sky for such good service on such a short notice.
