I hired Justin back in April to work on relighting my kitchen and small dining room area. He also updated my electrical panel. He did a great job, was very knowledgeable and worked professionally. I will be hiring Justin again for further renovations in my condo and recommend him highly.

Justin and his apprentice were prompt, courteous and professional. Justin is extremely knowledgeable and explained all recommendations and repairs in detail. He was able to troubleshoot and repair past work done by another company. I highly recommend Justin and will use his company for any further electrical work needed!

I had a light switch that a general handyman messed up and couldnt get an entire rooms electrical to work. I called around and couldn't find anybody available for 2 weeks. Got an appointment with Interstate for the next day. Justin came out on time. Was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Fixed my issue and brought that area up to code. I would highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

I live in a little ranch built in the 1950’s. There are a lot of odd ball things about my home, but I love it. I wanted to have ceiling fans installed, but the fixtures were on the wall I stead of the ceiling, and I have no attic. I got recommendations for an electrician from Home Depot, and they gave me the contact info for Justin at Interstate. He’s amazing. Not only did he do a fantastic job on the ceiling fans, but he gave me great recs for brands of fans, and what to look for. He was prompt, very professional, and worth every penny. He’s got the job at my house from now on!

I had an electrical emergency at 8pm on a Friday night as I was preparing for an upcoming event the next day at my house.

I reached out to several 24 hr electricians and either spoke to an answering service or had to leave a message. After waiting for a return call for about an hour I called Interstate Electric and Solar who answered on my first call.

I was told Justin would be out within the hour. Sure enough Justin was at my door within the hour and fixed my issue diagnosing that a wire came free in a switch. I also asked him to repair an outlet that had been broken by my kids, he did that in a minute.

When I asked what the damage was he explained it would be $230 for everything which included their $79 after hours charge. He informed me that as the company owner while he has 5 techs he generally takes the after hours calls himself as a service to his customers.

As a side note not only did Justin come out to do the work promptly and efficiently, I received a call from another service after my Saturday event and am still waiting (on Monday) for calls back from the other service providers.

I’d recommend Justin and Interstate to anyone and in fact have passed his information on to three people since Friday night.

Justin has been our go to electrician for both homes we own in the Denver area. One of the homes was originally built in 1895 and was a flip when we bought it 8 years ago. Justin came in and gave us, plus our daughter a good evaluation and education on its electrical system. This time he came out after a contractor overloaded an outside outlet and blew a breaker leaving part of the house without any electricity. He and his trainee walked us through what he was replacing, checked the grounding and then checked everything was working. He’s very thorough and always teaches us something new. He’s courteous, respectful and it’s just such a pleasure to have someone you can count on to do the job well the first time and he guarantees his work!

Justin was simply excellent. During the consultation, he explained the science of panel replacement and clearly understood the current rules and regulations for my city and county. On the installation day, he was efficient and courteous. No complaints. 5/5 stars!

Justin and his employee, who upgraded my house to 150 amp service, were professional and went above and beyond in their services. They got the job done in a timely manner, and didn’t stop until it was finished. I felt the prices were very reasonable, especially given recent circumstances. Justin upgraded my main panel, and installed a sub panel in my garage. He also added a 50A outlet for an EVSE (electric car charger). I was very interested in the work he was doing. Throughout the day, I would step out and ask questions about each step of the process. He was very knowledgeable and patient while answering each of my questions. He really knows his stuff. After everything was installed, he went through the house and labeled each circuit at the panel, and explained how to how to properly reset and test them. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Interstate Electric and Solar.

We were very happy with the work Justin did in upgrading our electrical panel and inspecting our wiring. Justin and his apprentice (Alex I think) were on time and spent 12 hours doing a multitude of jobs which included an entire panel replacement. They were as kind, respectful, and professional at hour 12 as they were at hour 1. Justin explains everything as he goes so you know exactly what the problem is and what will be required to fix it. We didn’t even bother to get other quotes because after chatting with Justin, we knew why he came so highly recommended. Very happy with our experience and highly recommend! We are already planning some new lighting and will be loyal customers.

Power went out to half my house (it was likely my own fault for doing some DIY wiring.) Justin came out after hours and gave a thorough explanation of some of my issues. We had a bit of a scare with an outlet burning up in our home. I called Interstate Electric and Justin was on the scene in just over an hour. Justin made a prompt after hours call on a freezing cold night with very icy streets to check my electrical box. Despite the fact I needed a new panel, he was able to get me heat to the house. He came 2 days later and did an excellent job on installing a new panel and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend the company.

I finally found the best electrician in Colorado! Justin and his crew did a fantastic job redoing my panel when I moved into a new house with some questionable electrical work. When I bought my condo in summer 2020, I knew there were electrical issues to fix. I put my trust in a different company and found out today thanks to Justin's expertise that the company I'd trusted had completely botched the job. I was distraught by this news, but Justin took the time to outline exactly what I needed to do to bring that company to justice, and what he would be able to do to fix it when the ordeal was over. I cannot thank Justin enough for taking the time to walk me -- a first-time homebuyer -- through this. I wish I'd found him in summer 2020. I am converting a bedroom into a home office and needed to have 4 flood lights and a new dimmer switch installed. Justin is a very knowledgeable electrician and did an excellent job! I had originally selected a standard style of canister LED lights, but Justin quickly saw that I wasn't going to have enough clearance in my attic where I had wanted a couple of the lights due to the way the roof was sloped, but Justin had an immediate remedy with another low profile style of fixture that worked great. Justin was on time, performed the work to perfection, and cleaned up everything when he was done. A few years ago, Justin replace a house/attic fan and did a great job then as well, so this is the second time we've used him and once again he did a great job.

After getting a few bids I went with Interstate. Justin was very knowledgeable on the walk through of the job and certainly made us feel comfortable that our service change would be done correctly. On top of that his quote was very competitive and if anything a little more favorable to the wallet. On the day of the job Justin and Brooke showed up on time and were a pleasure to have on my property to work on the home. After completing the job I feel very safe and secure knowing my electrical panel is done correctly and up to code as well. All in all I would recommend Interstate for your electrical jobs either big or small.

Justin replaced a ceiling fan for me. He was really nice and professional. He arrived early and was extremely thorough. He also made recommendations when spotting other things around the house, but wasn’t pushy whatsoever about having that done by them. They were professional, gave great advice along the way on where to place the wiring, and cleaned everything up well too. Justin came to our house on an off day (Sunday) because he was concerned about weather impacting out hot tub and freezing in the plumbing. Did not charge extra for off day timing. Justin Swung by my house this morning to help me with my solar panel system and to get a plan going forward for several electrical projects. Justin replaced a dimmer switch in my dining room. This is the third time I have had him come to my house for electrical issues. I would never go with anyone else. I had a large job, my whole house had to be updated with copper and I needed a new panel. I called for a quote and Justin came out the next day. We thought it through for a few days and called back to go through with it. Justin was back out with a team 2 days later to get started. My house had a lot of complications that they couldn't know about until they took off the outlets but they rolled with the punches and got it done in a day and a half, without raising the price I might add. Everything got updated with great products, the team was really nice and funny, they all answered any questions that I came up with, and told me what they were doing every step of the way. Then my water heater stopped working that night and Justin came back out the same day (on a Sunday) to see why, found the problem, and was willing to stay and fix it but we decided on getting it fixed the next day, which he did for a great price. I have more electrical to do and I will use nobody but Interstate.

After another electrician no-showed on us twice, we contacted Interstate and they showed up the next day (on time, even). We called Interstate when we noticed our breaker box smoking while running the dryer. The owner (Justin) answered his phone at 9PM and made a late night house call. He made our home safe for the night and gave us a quote to fix the problem. We called 3 other electricians and Interstate's quote EASILY beat all competitors. Not to mention they were very friendly, professional and used brand-name components. Justin made it a point to describe, in detail, everything that needed to be done and the reason. Justin and his team provided professional service in the installation of two ceiling fans on 20 foot ceilings. They were on time, took Covid-19 precautions, and were very courteous. It was clear that they took care when bringing in scaffolding to make sure that they did not damage our home. At work completion, they made sure that the work area was clean and that we understood fan operation.

We had a tripped breaker that we could not get to reset. Within two and a half hours of calling Interstate, we had a follow up text and Justin was at our home to quickly solve the problem. We couldn't have been more impressed.

Justin at Interstate Electric and Solar installed my ring doorbell (+miscellaneous repairs) earlier this month in a challenging location. He exceeded all expectations, answered all my questions, and the final price was reasonable.

On the recommendation of Home Depot, we recently called Interstate E & S to replace an old bathroom fan and some lighting controls in our house. Justin arrived on time and sized up the problem. He instructed us on what parts to order. On his return trip, he made short work of the job and charged far less than expected. We're very pleased with his workmanship. He’s former military and behaves with that high level of integrity. Justin came inless than two hours after I called to remove an old ceiling fan and install a new one. Very courteous and efficient. He also inspected our smoke alarms and CO2 alarm. Highly recommend him. Hugh

Justin is very prompt, courteous and professional. Always early and efficient with the work, getting everything completed timely. Very happy with their work and I intend to use Interstate Electric and Solar again for a Tesla wall charger move and a home electrical inspection.

Service was professional, however I do feel it was overpriced. I tend to ensure I get an idea of the fees prior to having a specialist come out, but failed to do so this time and it appears I got the typical, nice big house, looks like a high end of the range fee situation. I needed an AFCI breaker replaced, which took less than 30 minutes altogether. Then was told that he would waive the diagnostics fee (I didn't even know there was one) and was still charged an amount much higher than I expected. Looking up local rates, I noticed that this type of work is typically charged $100-$200 less per breaker. So definitely feel I was overcharged, however they do know what they are doing and are very technical. I would just not make the mistake I made and ensure you understand their fee structure prior to having them come out.

Post-project review: Justin and his team (Brooke, Jay, Seth, Chandler) worked all day - each day - for the ENTIRE weekend, until almost midnight on a Sunday night, to diagnose and correct multiple safety hazards and long overdue electrical upgrades! I can’t say enough about their knowledge, professionalism and courtesy. It’s almost impossible to find any of those characteristics these days, and Interstate has all of them!!

The owner Interstate came out to my house and arrived at exactly 1:00 as was scheduled. He is friendly, a family man and very knowledgeable. He is proud of his work, this is not just a job. He replaced 3 smoke alarms with new alarms that have dual smoke and carbon monoxide warnings and replaced two light fixtures. He even made sure the lightbulbs in all the fixtures matched in watts and quality. I asked him if he thought we could bend back 2 hanging light fixtures that were bent by movers and were very crooked. (afraid we would break them if we did). He jumped right up on the ladder and straightened them for me even has I did the female thing: To the left, no, too far, now to the right. It was like having a friend come over and help.

I called Interstate out to check out a problem we were having with an arcing circuit. Additionally, I had them replace our out-dated electrical panel, meter and add a whole house surge protector. Work was done by Justin, the owner. Extremely thorough, and man, does he know his stuff. You can bet that he will not cut any corners. 5 minutes into talking with him, you can tell he is %1000 by-the-book and obsessed with safety. Very personable guy too; highly recommend. Pricing very competitive as well.

If you live up in the hills you know how hard it is to get an electrician or plumber to help you. Justin n crew worked Sat n Sun to replace our entire service, wired for generator, put in 40amp circuit for new double ovens an fixed a bunch of stuff some hacks did in the past. Very pleased to find a professional electrician that is also a vet like me.

Had an appointment scheduled with him to come out and look at moving a meter from a pole to a building required by irea. They told me when I scheduled the appointment but there would be a $45 trip charge since I was more than 10 miles out. Although no other companies required that I agreed to pay it because I'm in a rush to get three bids. They were scheduled to come between 12:30 and 1 today , they called this morning and canceled because he said we were too far away. So now my shop is down for another day at least until I get another bid done. If they had told me they wouldn't come out on Friday when I contacted them. I could have made other arrangements. You would think for a total that is going to be somewhere between $4000 and $6,000 they would be interested in looking at something like that but I guess they have too much business.

The woman who answered the phone laughed at me multiple times through my inquiry, and was not able to provide even a general ballpark for a quote, though I’ve received multiple ballpark quotes from other contractors. I received their info through Home Depot to schedule a quote for a small residential job. If patronizing communication and little to no information is your style, go to these guys.
