Tried to charge we $1250 dollars to install two bathroom ventilation fans. I said there is no way I am paying that. He acted like he was giving me a deal when he lowered the price to $700 so I let him do the work. He assured me that the fans were usually $700 a piece. After he left, I searched the fans and they retail at $80 at Home Depot. At the end of the day I got charged $540 for one hour of labor.

Poor customer service, the operators that answer the phone address you as common and have no clue about how to support. They have 0 follow-up, zero accountability and overall poor business model.

I was totally satisfied with the quality of the job. I took notice of how he did those little things that many contractor omit in an attempt to finish quickly. I added some additional requests that included plumbing and electrical that he agreed to handle while he was here. In the end his charges were more than fair. I will certainly keep Toliny Plumbing and Electrical in mind for any future repairs.

I work with a lot of homeowners in the Charlotte area and I hire Arc Electric multiple times per week to take care of my clients' electrical needs. Their technicians are always professional, clean, and hard working. The office team communicates very well and serves their customers well.

On Friday July 29 our A/C stopped working and we called Progressive Service. They have been our HVAC company for 10 years and we have always felt that they were fair and trustworthy.
The service man arrived at 9:30 AM and spent 1 1/2 hours and diagnosed the problem as ants getting into the contactor and causing a short circuit'. He replaced the contactor and said the charge would be around $800. I then asked to see the replaced part and he brought the part to me. The contact or is made from hard plastic with metal screw terminals. This part looked almost brand-new and showed no signs of ant invasion or scorch marks of short circuit. I questioned his explanation but he stuck to his story about ants . He told me that the replacement part would cost me about $700. The exact same part would cost me $8.99 on Amazon.
I have requested a copy of the invoice but have not received one yet.
I feel that a mark-up of 7800 % for this part to be outrageous and unethical and I will no longer deal with your company . I will also make sure that all my fiends are warned about your unethical practices.
