Jessie was extremely professional and accommodating! Jessie and his team were a pleasure to work with. He came out and provided an estimate and installed all in one day! The whole team did outstanding work! It can be very precarious and tedious to install a light in a 2 story foyer. I am so pleased with their attention to detail, professionalism, and they even thoroughly cleaned up after installation. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I used Mister Sparky back in 2019 for an electrical panel upgrade (top of line ?), electrical outlets and switches repair. My 1950s house was at a high risk for internal electrical fire with a lot of arching. With the new panel, it brought my house into this century and have peace of mind that my house is safer now. The team in 2019 did an excellent job. Now in 2022, I had to call them back out 3 years later for what I would find to be 2 bad breakers. Kevin did a great job explaining the issue and fixing the problem in a timely manner. Mister Sparky is my go to electrician. Thanks for the great service.

They were a NO SHOW!!! The technician we spoke to at 8:01 pm stated he don't know what happened He don't know why they didn't show nor why they didn't call but the guy had done left and went home BUT if we wanted to pay another service fee then he could send somebody out otherwise we would be getting a call from someone to let us know what happened... We were told we couldn't cancel and get a refund but yet they were a no-show. We were told we couldn't even get our money back after they didn't show even though they advertised stating that if they don't show that the job is free they didn't even make it out to inspect the job TO GET IT'S FREE but that's what they advertise!! And they also say they'll come out when you call but they don't include you have to pay them an extra $250 to get them to do that. OTHERWISE they gave us a 12-hour slot 3 days after we called and made the appointment. Let's say I have proof the man saying he DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT WOULD HAVE SOMEONE CALL US!!! They couldn't even give us a courtesy call to apologize for not showing up This is malarkey service and we've got nothing but malarkey service ever since we booked the appointment!!! First of all there was no miscommunication I have on recording the whole conversation also here's the wiring where my home could have burned down We were asked to take the review down I refuse The only thing that offered was to come out and fix it We refused they finally are going to refund our money if you got any sense do not call this company!!!!

Exceptional experience with Mr. Sparky and Justin! The office staff was quick to schedule and so very friendly! We had 2 ceiling fans installed, a dimmer switch added, and added an outlet to our bathroom. It was a professional experience, quality work, everything was cleaned up and left in prefect shape! Would definitely hire them again and will refer to all of our friends and family!

Kevin worked quickly and efficiently to correct a damaged outlet. We tried various individuals who did not show up when anticipated. We called Mr. Sparky one day and our repair was completed the next. We are very grateful for such excellent service at a reasonable price.

My electrician Dante Torres was awesome he was very quick but took the time to explain to me in detail everything that I needed to know. While he completed the work in a timely manner he wasn’t in a rush to leave he wanted to make sure I was happy first and I appreciate that more than I could possibly explain in this review. He was a great guy and a great electrician and will always be who I call on for electrical help in the future.

Although I only required an estimate to upgrade my panel for budgeting purposes, the technician that Mr Sparky sent over was truly the right guy for the job.Not only was Technician (Torres) punctual, after I explained what I was requesting, he gave a thorough inspection, wrote up a complete estimate and described in detail how they performed their services.His experience was evident.His attention to detail will be the reason for a call back.

The service from the company was worth the cost. Service standards seem to be eroding but not with Mr. Sparky. From making an appointment through repairs, I was impressed. Justin announced his arrival through text and call and was on time. His quick diagnostics and quote were completed within 30 minutes. Repairs and billing in the next 30. He even came back in to double check on a question we had about our Wi-Fi and turned out it was our power strip, duh. He didn’t even rib us. Good guy, hope you get him.

Chris was awesome! He was very communicative prior to arriving so that we had a good idea of his arrival time. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. I highly recommend Chris and Mister Sparky to anyone looking for excellent electrician services.

My own experience with Mister Sparky was very positive. Christian and Justin were the electricians who completed a fairly big, and VERY important electrical fix. Because nobody likes a house fire. ?Christian initially went over everything going on with our little grid here. He explained everything with patience and know how. Now I wasn't crazy about having to dish out big money, but you can't put a price tag on your family's safety and well-being.They completed the repair and replacement of everything in a timely and high quality manner.I'm very pleased how we were treated by Mister Sparky. ?

I can not speak highly enough of Brandon and the work, time and effort that he put into evaluating, diagnosing and fixing the problems that I was having with the electrical system of my swimming pool. I had a sudden power failure in my pool’s electrical system which resulted in a complete loss of power and functioning of my pool equipment (pump, filter, lights, etc.). This came at a very bad time because temperatures were forecasted to drop into the low teens, Which could very well result in damage to pool pipes and equipment due to the freezing temperatures. Brandon spent hours outside in the cold temperatures evaluating and problem solving the issues. He offered solutions based on his evaluation. These solutions included both costly and less expensive potential fixes for the pool’s problems. I appreciated Brandon’s input, honesty and integrity. There was never any pressure to immediately jump to the most expensive possible remedy. Brandon thoroughly explained the possible issues and the possible remedies. Brandon’s professionalism and commitment to successfully completing a job was clear every time I spoke and or dealt with him. Brandon even did research on his own time attempting to resolve my issues and to guide me as to what parts I would need to order from swimming pool suppliers. I could go on regarding the professional and great customer service that Brandon provided. However, I will sum it up by saying that Brandon is a trustworthy, committed and knowledgeable individual with a true work ethic who provides excellent customer service and is truly an assist to the Mister Sparky team.

I hired Mr. Sparky a few years back. I had an issue with the power coming into my house. I forget the technicians name but I do remember he showed up on time. He was polite, professional and within minutes he confirmed what I thought the problem was and corrected it quickly. The cost was very reasonable and I was very happy with the way everything went. In fact I'm planning some upgrades now and I'm going with Mr' Sparky again.

Christian did a great job getting our security cameras installed and also installing our surge protections. Very knowledgeable and willing to work with us on different ideas and offers available. High recommend for any electrical needs.

Chris did a good job of analyzing my concerns and presenting resolutions. Very professional. They installed the new lights today and they were excellent. When my wife also gives Chis a thumbs up, that’s saying something!!!

Hunter arrived early after notifying us that he would be early and if that was ok. He assessed what we needed and gave us 3 different options/quotes for the work that we needed from him. The price was not what we were expecting, but seems reasonable. We will need to wait to get the work done, but we will definitely have Hunter do the work for us when and if we move forward.

Very impressed and pleased with Kevin and his partner. Had four items that needed their attention. Kevin was very patient with our questions and they were very methodical & thorough in their troubleshooting a Ring doorbell installation, and installed a new device after I had screwed things up!;) They also identified minor issues with our main fuse box which will be addressed in a subsequent visit. First, I will preface this to tell you I’m a real person, not a bot. This is a real google account. This is a real review of the work that was done in my home.When I say phenomenal, I meanPHENOMENAL. Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He had his work cut out for him as we had a particularly difficult wiring situation in our home. Nonetheless, he was DETERMINED to figure out how to fix our issues no matter how long it took and he pulled it off! There was another gentleman (whose name escapes me I apologize) who help him and was just as professional and knowledgeable. All that to say, if you need help with your electrical issues, Mr. Sparky are your people!

Francisco from Mister Sparky was wonderful. On time, professional, clear in his explanations, and most importantly he fixed our problem making the lights work and our house safer. Our house was wired with aluminum which creates several issues. Francisco explained our problem, reviewed the cost, fixed our problem and thoroughly cleaned up. Our house is aging and we needed a lot of electrical updates. We had three different guys from Mr. Sparky come to do the work at different times. We were grateful to enjoy their professionalism, kindness, and the care they took to keep our home clean as they worked. You rarely see the work ethic they displayed nowadays, so we were truly impressed with all of them.

We use them through my job when we need someone in a pinch, and they ALWAYS deliver. The tech's are quick to respond, kind, and clear in their solutions. The office is fantastic as well, Amy is quick and super sweet!

Kevin was very professional and took time to explain the issues we had. Corrections were made quickly. He vacuumed up and left the work site very clean.

Chris ( I believe his name was) came out on time and was able to figure out where the issue was( Duke Energy Issue) after Duke fixed there issue he came back out and replaced are bad breakers in garage and Justin installed surge protector so this issue won’t happen again from Duke Energy . Mr. Sparky came to my resisdence for routine maintenace on a standby generator they had installed previously. I was contacted when my service was due. They scheduled it at my convenience. They were on time and professional. I highly recommend them.

I originally had an appointment booked the second week of March, but since they had someone in my area, they asked if they could come sooner. This was helpful for me, as I wanted to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. The technician was training another employee, both were polite and professional and the technician gave his assessment of my electrical panel in an unbiased manner, not pressuring me which helped me to trust him. They replaced a grounded outlet under my house and a fuse on the electrical panel. Thank you!

Always on time and thorough, after Mr Sparkie installed our backup generator 3 years ago, they've been out each year to do a maintenance checkup. Theyve also done some semi-major electrical work for us too. They are however a little pricey but have never had any problems and will continue to use their services.

All of the technicians did an excellent job. They were courteous, professional and on-time. We had a great experience.

Darrell and Cody were excellent! They took plenty of time and care to make sure the fixtures were placed exactly where I wanted them.

I had three outlets in my kitchen that had stopped working and contacted Mr. Sparky. Justin came out and after a thorough electrical inspection found I had a burned out outlet that affected the other two outlets. He was able to replace the outlet promptly and put my kitchen back in full service again. I called Mr sparky to fix a cut electrical wire to my hot water heater. They we're there within a couple hours and gave me a complete rundown of what needed to be completed as well as additional work that they saw that needed to be completed as well. They gave me a quote instantly. Cam the electrician was very professional and thorough and easy to work with. They are a little more expensive than some other electricians but I think you get what you pay for.

Cody was pleasant and knowledgeable. The dispatcher did not tell him that he needed to bring a wired smoke detector. He had to install a temporary battery one, and will need to return and install a replacement wired detector to replace the defective one we had.

He did a great job and very good attitude and explains what he had done and what I need to do in the future.

Christian was very professional in his presentation. He explained in detail what would be good for us and promptly prepared a quote. Unfortunately, the price for the work is far outside our budget and we will have to abstain at this time.

We had such a great experience with Dante Torres and his team. We had very old bathroom fans and outlets and they worked very hard to update everything. It took a long time and was very difficult ( due to plaster) to fish the line for the new outlets but they came back the next day to finish everything. We have an old house and they took the time to inspect everything for safety. Would recommended to anyone who needs electrical work.

Had a room not getting power, figured bad breaker or loose wire at breaker panel..Call Mr SPARKEY and their technician called me and said If I want the Mr Sparkey price it would be $199.00 year for membership.??? I was baffled never heard of membership for electrical company...He said they would come and tune my breakers once a year...Still baffled???Never heard of tuning a breaker box...Gets even better...Wanted to charge me 700.00 dollars just to run a diagnostic test???...Did a whole safety report on home??? Sent me a estimate of over $6000.00 to wire breaker box and over $7000.00 for the sub panel...Still never addressed the room with no power...This was a simple service call on a 1971 single wide home.....

They are indeed Mister Sparky - that Spark is going to light up your wallet! We had a breaker that would not reset so we called them. It was around 9:00 p.m. and they were going to charge an egregious after-hours fee. We took the chance that there was nothing serious wrong and took an appointment for the next day. Turned out it was a bad breaker and they charged us $589 to replace one breaker - after googling it turns out it takes at most 10 minutes to replace! I have to believe there are cheaper options out there. They also tried to upsell us on replacing the entire panel - mine you our panel passed inspecting and is up to code so Mister Sparky would have burned my credit card as well!!! Next, the tech left us an assessment of our electrical situation but never reviewed it with us. The assessment indicated we had a serious issue. Now, I have to either ignore it or pay them the service fee for the return visit. Pretty slick marketing, get you concerned about an issue and force another service fee on you!! Rather than have Mister Sparky light up my wallet again, I will try another company! I guess they have to pay for those Panther ads somehow!!

Christian was on time and super nice. He got to work right away and is coming back later this week to finish. Very pleased!!

A previous handyman told me two years ago that a lot of additional and unnecessary work would be required in order to install the fan, but Will completed the installation in record time and made it look effortless. Kevin, our tech (electrician) was great! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Replaced 3 GFI outlets that were old and not wired correctly. We really appreciated his help. I know electrical services are not cheap these days but we were glad we called and they sent Kevin who did a very thorough job. I felt it was money well spent to feel safe in our home.I have used Mr. Sparky previously for several electrical jobs, like a new electrical panel and fixtures and switches/outlets. I have always been pleased with their work. I will continue to use Mr. Sparky and I will ask for Kevin again in the future.

Christian Perry came out to give me a quote for lighting and receptacle installation. Very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Answered all my questions. While I thought price may be a little high, Mr. Sparky has done work for me before, and not only done excellent electrical installation, but cleaned up thoroughly and left things like they found them. Based on my experience, I am using them again to do some installation work. May be a little pricier than some, but their work and tidiness after the job can't be beat. Highly recommend.

I had a true electrical emergency. I called around noon and asked if someone could come out today to help me with an outlet that we thought could catch fire. The lady on the phone was so polite and understanding. She said they would get someone out as soon as they could but didn't know when that would be. Within 2 hours Christian was on his way. He looked at our outlet and then looked at all the rest on the same circuit. Because of the age of our house they were all in the same shape. He worked within our budget, had a couple of guys show up to help him out and in what seemed like just a couple of hours they had replaced the wiring in 4 outlets and a switch. They were polite, funny, very professional and easy going. We felt so comfortable with them in our home they seem like the kind of guys you'd have over to watch the game and hang out with on Sunday!! I would recommend them to anyone who has a need for some electrical work. I for certain would call them back should I need anything further. My technician checked my breaker which kept tripping. It was not the breaker but, rather, a bad microwave problem. He was very thorough and extremely polite.

FYI: You have to pay a dispatch fee to even get an estimate. We wanted smart home smoke detectors installed, which I now know maybe isn’t their area of expertise, but their estimate was shockingly more than a competitor ($4500 from Mr Sparky vs $600 elsewhere). Maybe their pricing is fair for more complicated electrical work, but for our job, it was downright ridiculous. (Also, they notified me they were “on the way” but showed up 2 hours later. I lost my whole morning waiting.)

Kevin was great! We had him take a look at the chimes to our doorbell because they were not working and he figured out the problem and was able to replace it. It’s so nice to have a working doorbell again! He was on time, professional and super helpful with all of my questions. Highly recommend!!

Christian P was the electrician that came out and if the other electricians are anywhere near his talent and courtesy would be an level I have seen in very few companies. Way overpriced! Carmen said it would be $1200. I got another electrician for a second opinion. They charge me $250. 11/6/2022.To owner Carmen didn't run tester to see if breaker or outlet. Do you think it wise to run tester on breaker and outlet. My second opinion electrician ran tester and replaced outlets for $250. Service your ripoff tech want to run wires. Which was uncalled for.

Called Mr Sparky to have a new remote receiver installed on my ceiling fan. I was supplying the new receiver. Mr Sparky would not give an estimate over the phone. I was informed I would have to pay the non-refundable service call fee and the electrician would provide the quote once on-site. I reluctantly agreed and paid the service call fee, upfront, to schedule the service call. Once the electrician arrived, he was very nice and polite. However, his quote was $815 to replace a fan remote receiver that I was supplying. It would have been a 30 minute job at the most for any competent electrician. Needless to say, I sent him on his way and lost the non-refundable service fee. This is an unethical company and a racket. All I can say is “BEWARE”.Update: First of all, Mr Sparky does not know what I can afford and what I can’t as referenced in the business owners response. This is about what is fair and equitable and not what I can afford. The job needed has been completed by a different electrical company by a licensed electrician. It ended up approximately 1/4 Mr Sparky’s $815 quote (after taking my $69 non-refundable service call fee). Again, BEWARE and do your homework!

Professionalism always displayed but interact with great care and concern for our needs. We appreciate the thoroughness and dedication of technician, Brandon. This review is for the work done by Brandon on our Generac whole house generator. I was not happy with the outcome of the service because a new part has to be installed at a very high cost. But Brandon worked all day in an attempt to repair the part. He is a very nice young man. I highly recommend Mr. Sparky to install a Generac generator for you.

Cameron was right on time very personable and understood exactly what was going on with the switch that supplies power from our Stand By Generator to Our Heating and Cooling Unit ! In just a few minutes He had the cooling system functioning as should be and explained how long it would take to gain access to the part in question for completion of the repairs ! Thank You Cameron

They put you on a stand by appointment until you pay them the fee then they book you. My Home was struck by lightning causing severe damage to the electrical systems. The technical team lead by Brandon at Mr Sparkey were fantastic. They spent the time to diagnose and understand the damages, put together a plan and fix all of the damages related to the outage as fast as possible. They went out of their way to continue to provide power to sections of the home even if this made their job more complex, so my wife and I could live in the home and continue working from home. Can not speak to quality of work but had someone from the company provide a quote with a $79 service charge. Typically other companies would allow this to be credited against future work however this company does not. This did not concern me given the great reviews, however it has been extremely difficult to get a quote (had to reach out multiple times to finally get it). The person said it must be an email issue however I got several emails asking for feedback on the technician. When i finally got the quote, it was not complete and the call center can’t help with that (have to call technician for everything…), and then when i asked to schedule work they said they’d call me back within a couple of hours and it’s been days since I heard from them. Again - don’t mind the $79 service charge but given that I’m essentially begging them to get a quote and they won’t return my calls to schedule work, feels like a BIG SCAM. I will be finding a more honest and reputable company to work with for my simple electrical requests.

I had to call him late Saturday evening because my electrical panel was making a sizzling noise; he came out assessed the problem and worked past midnight to put in a whole new panel, which looks great. We had some construction happening at our house, and a digger knocked our power line out. When he did that, he also broke our entire meter box. Brandon came out very late at night and assessed the situation. He quickly made a plan and did some prep work on this first day, and he was back out on-site at our house early the next morning to resolve the issue. When the Technician Dante came out he was very professional and listened patiently to what outdoor lighting and electrical upgrades I was considering.Dante had a happy go lucky friendly personality and wasn't trying to rush me to a decision. He was extremely helpful and wasn't trying to get top dollar out of me but provided multiple options to assist me and timeframe to complete the job.. He also gave me ideas how to accomplish follow up projects that makes me want to offer those jobs to mr sparky when I'm ready. $299.00 just to come give an estimate. Kindly told me it would cost me $10,000.00 to change out the glass meter reader. Which had only been pulled loose from the house by the top bracket by a fallen branch. He started breaking things loose with both hands saying yeah this is broke . It was only laid over and still attached to the house. I told him there was no way i could pay 10k I am on disability. He then says $6,400.00 i said i can't afford that either. He starts telling ,me about a payment plan btw there are 3 red vans in my yard for one job so i assumed that's why they charging me for all 3 workers on a 1 man job. I had just gotten out of the hospital and had almost died so i assure you in my right state of mind I would have hung up the phone at the $299. point but my brain was mush. Since I felt taken advantage of my Daughter had a few electricians come out and give FREE appraisals on the work MS did and none were over 2500. My final bill from Ms is $4,600.00 plus the $299.00 so they basically doubled what several other electricians would charge. They just make it up as they go along ! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE they smile in your face while sticking it to you !!!Add on ANSWER...I just found out the amount of my bill yesterday and I am looking into getting the written quotes and contacting the BBB. so all that takes more than a day.. You'll get yours greedy !

I booked an appointment for them to come out any time between 8am-8pm. I was anticipating to be a fill in somewhere and get a call in the evening. Jordan called at 8:30 and said he was about 20 minutes away. He arrived quick and got right to work. He explained everything to us and also advised us on future necessities for our home, without pressuring us.Overall great experience and will definitely be using them in the future!

Dayne went above and beyond what we asked for. He explained all the different options in handling a fan box and EV charger installation. We chose the option to include a whole home surge protection. He was professional and care a lot about his craft. He installed an EV car charger in our garage and took care of making sure he left no debris behind.He had to come back at a different date to finish installing our fan box, which he did without issue. All work is backed by a 3 year labor warranty and the surge protection is lifetime. If we ever need additional electrical work done, we hope to work with Dayne and Mister Sparky again.

We had two excellent experiences with Mr. Sparky. Allen came on 1/2 and installed what I asked for, but it didn't fix my problem because I did not know certain details about my appliance which I learned after his visit. While he was here, he allowed us to video him testing the outlet and verifying that the appliance still tripped so we could submit proof to the vendor of the visit and results. This really helped us resolve our problem with the vendor of the appliance. We really enjoyed working with him and wanted him to do the follow up work, but his schedule for the day we had in mind was too full to work us in. He called his manager and tried to find another colleague who could come out, but everyone was booked. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day (today).Jordan was the second electrician to come out, and we filled him in on the new information we received and he installed a different outlet. Our appliance is working and we are very happy.We would certainly recommend Mr. Sparky, these two electricians especially, and will call them in the future to install a surge protector for our home as well as any other electrical needs that arise in the future.

We chose Mr. Sparky because they had great reviews. We had our electric go out in the front of our house. We got someone to come out. The person who came was helpful and informative and able to get us our power back on. However, to be here less than 30 minutes and change one breaker was $385. We thought this was a little high so we reached out to the company for an itemized receipt of services including price of labor, parts, and any other charges. After multiple attempts at communication we were ultimately told they could not provide a breakdown of price for us which seemed a little sketchy. It came to our attention we need more work done electrically and we will definitely not be using this company after their poor communication and questionable ethics.UPDATE: High chance their reply is just to convince potential customers they’ve done something to resolve the issue when I have yet to receive said “email”

I had a so-so experience with Mr Sparky. I needed 30 minutes of advice in tracing some wires from a licensed electrician. When I explained the issue I was trying to solve, I was offered either a $411 Circuit Diagnostic or a $949 New switch leg options. I explained to the gentleman that all I needed was help and advice on whatever we could fit into 30 minutes; just to get me unstuck so that I could proceed with my fan installation project. He explained to me that they were a flat-rate / by the job type of company and all he could do was to offer me something from the menu. In my case, it was either going to be $411 or $949. I did not need nor took either, and the visit ended with a small service fee. Luckily I had a discount coupon that the service fee ended under $30 which I did not mind paying. In the end, that experience was somewhat disappointing.On the other hand, it was very easy to set an appointment with Mr Sparky. Someone picked up the phone right away and gave me an appointment when I needed. The technician, Jordan, called ahead and arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous and professional in our interactions. Even though he ended up not helping, I appreciated that he explained why he could not in a clear manner. My coupon was accepted without any ifs and butts and he tried to give me some tips on his way out. So all in all while my experience was lukewarm, I can see that there are other positives going for this company.

We had to have emergency service on a Sunday after a branch knocked out power to our home. We were a little disappointed that it took over 4 hours for someone to show up in the middle of July. However, once Brandon got to work on our situation we were very happy with his work and service. I have an old GE drop-in range (25+ years old) that stopped working in the oven part. I had been told that because it was so old, parts likely weren't available. I called Mr. Sparky last Friday and they scheduled an appointment this morning with Brandon. Brandon was fantastic. He explained everything to me in common language that I understood. He was able to find the part needed and I'm hoping to have my oven back before Christmas. Brandon did not try and sell me something and focused completely on my problem. Just from this experience alone, I will not only use their services again but I 100% recommend them for electrical services. UPDATE: 12-15-20 After 4 years of not being able to bake anything (except in my countertop oven), my oven is back!! ? And just in time to do my Christmas baking (and I bake A LOT for Christmas). I called yesterday about a quote for some cabinet lighting. Mr. Sparky dispatchers were able to get me someone out for a consultation just hours later. Brandon, the electrician who came to my house, was very helpful, got me a few quotes on different scenarios, and even helped me look at light options. On top of that, he was also able to quickly provide an estimate on outdoor lighting (wasn’t planning on doing anything soon but figured I’d ask) and followed all CDC guidelines while in my house. I haven’t had any work done (still comparing pricing), but they seem to know what they are doing and would trust them to get the job done.

Day1 (7/7/21) Methodically tracked power issue to complex wiring situation. Kept us informed as he completed his diagnostic. Scheduled resumption of diagnostic on 7/9.Day 2 (7/9/21) As promised, Zane returned on Friday, along with reinforcements. The team was able to determine the cause and location of the problem and promptly rectified it and resolved some minor related outlet issues...all for the originally quoted diagnostic price. As I noted, this was complicated and the team applied all their skills and experience to make us whole. I will gladly do business in the future with Mister Sparky by Wise Electric Control, Inc. Zane was an outstanding individual and the team from WEC focused on resolution and customer satisfaction. I'd give them 10 stars if that was possible!

Cameron, came out to do an estimate on home we are under contract to purchase. He was very thorough and provided clear and honest feedback in all of the items brought up by the inspector.Jordan Kale did an excellent job (different job than Cameron) isolating a problem between the Oven and the power panel. Other techs were unable to identify the issue and just closed the ticket with no resolution. Jordan went the extra steps to make sure he traced the issue and found it...turns out it was a bad plug that was only bad when the cord was plugged in. Thankful for his efforts as I was about to replace the stove which wouldn't have done any good.

He thoroughly explained each option, what the repairs would be with each, and the cost of each and let us choose what worked best for us without any pressure. Work began on the house the following day. Each technician that has come to the house has been professional and courteous and has been mindful of the fact that 3 of us are working from home right now. Ngoc has been doing repairs daily at the house, with the help of an assistant. He's kept us informed of what he is doing, what he will be doing the following day, how long he will be at the house, etc.. We liked the fact that once we chose what option we wanted and agreed to a price, there have been no worries for us, no hidden costs or unexpected surprises. It's honestly been the best experience we've ever had with any company doing repairs at our home.

He and his partner stayed on the job until everything was done right which took over 6 hours! Most companies would have said “sorry”. I called Mister Sparky because I wanted a reputable company to troubleshoot a problem we’ve been having. I don’t like to mess with electrical issues! Brandon came out and found issues that the previous homeowners had either covered up, or were misled into faulty repairs by a sub-par electrician. I also had an electrician do some work, and he’ll be hearing from me :) They are not the cheapest, but I trust the job was done properly and Brandon gave me other recommendations of what he thought should be done to bring everything up to par. We took care of the most important issues first. Stop hiring shady “electricians”, and give Mister Sparky a shot. Ask for Brandon - he was great, and no pressure sales - just honest recommendations!

There is no doubt in my mind that these people would do an excellent job on a tankless water heater installation, BUT there fees are way to high! Crazy, to say the least. Not only that, but they had a $199 dispatch fee! If I knew their prices would be so high, I never would have them visit my location for an estimate!I have someone else coming today, and they are charging NOTHING! If one has fair prices, you will get a lot more customers accepting you to do the work for them!

Brandon showed me the safety inspection report, reviewed the problem areas that he found and answered my questions. We discussed and he changed out an electrical box along with several other items that needed attention. He did an excellent job and was also able to work around my schedule. Would recommend this company.

Allen, your technician, was remarkable. He was friendly, polite, and extremely thorough, not only in what he did, but also in his wiliness to answer all our (endless!) questions about what he was doing and why. His ability to stay on task, never lose his cool, even at the end of a long day was impressive. The only thing you could do to improve your service would be to clone him. He has set the gold standard for what a homeowner would want, but almost never gets, in home service.

I am cautious when choosing companies online to for work, especially when I have no references. Brandon at Mr. Sparky came out and was amazing. My job was much bigger than expected but he walked me through every step of the process. He made a few recommendations at took his time to make sure the job was done correctly. My technician Will was a true professional and a pleasure to meet. He was very detailed orientated and made sure the job was done correctly. He even followed up a day later to see it everything was working as intended.

Wil was great. Found the problem, explained the options, performed the repair option we selected. He was COVID compliant, friendly, and knowledgable. Mr. Sparky was able to schedule us at a good time, then when an earlier spot became available, called and fit us in.

I called several electricians before calling Mr. Sparky and they were the only company to follow through with an appointment. Not only that, but they got me on the schedule quickly, and then called the day before to see if I would like an appointment even sooner.We had several outlets that were not working, due to two separate issues. Since I have never owned a home with a whole house generator, Ken took the time to explain to me how it worked, what the numbers meant, what he checked for, what I should check, who to call should a problem occur and more. Great customer relationship building and he instantly makes you trust in Mister Sparky services. He also provided some great advice an options to consider related to electrical work we may need in the future. While I hope that I'm not seeing Ken/Mister Sparky until next fall - I am very pleased with the professional service completed today. ----- I also wanted to add that I appreciated getting an email with Ken's photo ahead of time that said he was on his way.

I love the work he did. But has been two trips out to my home to get the job done and it's still isn't done. So Monday morning I'm waiting for him to come out and I hope finish the job. I have to get back to work and I cant allow this to going in the way it is. Please send the guy some help. His work is outstanding but he needs help to get the jobs done in a timely matter.

I had Mister Sparky out to inspect the property I was looking into buying. David Thibault was SUPER professional. He called me on the way to property and listened to my concerns. He gave a quick and fair estimate that I could pass onto my realtor/seller. The home isn't going to work out but I'm so happy I had Mister Sparky help me make that decision before I got myself into debt.

We moved into a new house and realized there were a couple of rooms that lacked the lighting we were used to. Allen came out and did all of our quoting and installation. Allen listened to all of our needs and found the lighting size and placement that worked great. He also made sure to point out different suggestions in one of our bathrooms to make sure we didn’t need additional light switches or lines run but still got the lighting we were hoping for. Brent joined him on installation day. They were efficient and polite. They had to drill through our ceiling and a couple of walls but everything was cleaned up before they did a final walk thru to show us the lighting. They were also very mindful that we were all working and schooling from home and made sure to check with us on timing for power outage and internet outage. Great experience. We will call them again with any electrical work.

Mister Sparky by Wise Electric sent out Will Wallace and Phil to find out why we didn't have power in two and a half rooms of our house. They were very thorough and had to go under the house in the crawlspace to find and repair the problem. Great job at a reasonable price! I highly recommend them!

I purchased a home that was flipped, rigged electrical 'bandaids' that could not be noticedin the home inspection. With their knowledge, they corrected the wiring, avoiding what could have caused a house fire. I now feel so much safer. I had a problem with my A/C tripping a fuse constantly during the heat of the day. I had 2 other electricians come out and diagnose and give 2 different reasons why it was wrong. I called Mister Sparky, and was able to get someone here within 3 hours of calling. The tech, Michael, was very polite and helpful. He looked at the breaker panel, as well as the A/C unit and A/C paperwork and documentation to rule out of of the costly repairs another electrician tried to sell me. He was the only one to see the breaker was actually not compatible with my breaker box, and replaced it in no time. Haven't had an issue since.I have an old fuse panel (20+ years), and was recommended for an upgrade. I would have liked to have been left more information on that, as it was a $6000+ quote for the replacement, but the only information I was shown wasn't left for me.Overall a great experience. Probably paying a little extra because it's a larger company as opposed to someone independently working, but they were quick and fixed the problem!

I contacted Mr Sparky to get a quote to finish another contractors unfinished work. I was given a time and met with Jordan Kale, given an estimate and approx date to do the work. Long story short, Mr Sparky’s team was punctual, professional, responsive and courteous. My job was completed in the time that was estimated, all my questions were answered by Ngoc and Phillip who did an outstanding job.Thank you Mr Sparky for helping me get all the electrical work for my project completed. My wife and I have not smiled in months, you saved our project.

Allen was extremely thorough and provided superior customer service during his visit to troubleshoot our pool lights. The representative contacted me very quickly and arrived during the 30 minute interval he predicted. The service tech wanted to charge me $5000 up front to replace meter base lug kit! Stay far away from this company they are a complete scam! They also charged me $300.00 to come out to my house and basically do nothing. This company is a joke! They didn't fix anything and left me and my family without power for the weekend!

I am gathering quotes at this time. Cameron was professional and quick with his quote. I do feel the company should tell their customers a $59 dollar assessment fee will be asked for when the quote is completed. This is a reflection on the person booking not the tech who came.

Will was extremely professional in diagnosis several failed electrical outlets. These were primary circuits for washer and spare fridge/freezer. Once he identified a shorted neutral lead behind one of the house main breaker panels, he safely pointed out the fault and resulting lightly burned connection point. He laid out 3 options and wrote them out going from just correcting individual issue ( house is 24 yrs old and has had 2 major renovations resulting in electrical rats nest in both main breaker Panels) up to including several options for rebuilding/refurbishing wiring connections and routing with all new breakers.We chose rebuilding panels with new breakers to be safe and ensure no similar future issues. Will was able to give us a very reasonable price and do the work while onsite.He notifies us prior to disconnecting power to each main breaker box and kept us informed throughout the day as he progressed.I would highly recommend Mr Sparky again and recommend Will personally.

I contacted them for a quote for a Generac full-house standby generator. The representative William arrived at the house on time and he was very thoughtful and kind. However he did not provide any literature about the system. When I received the quote in email it was one line and a price. It did not specify any details about the scope of work or the system to be installed. I am still unsure what all would be included here.

I just want to say that Jordan was very respectful and he definitely, without a doubt, knows his job. He checked my plug ins and I thought they didn't work, but they do. I just wasn't working them right. He is very knowledgeable. I will be calling again.

Our attic fan had stopped functioning, which resulted in our air conditioner having to run 24/7. With the outside temp pushing the mid-90's the working conditions in our attic were grueling. The technician determined that the fan was the problem, not the thermostat, but we had him replace both units since both were 14 years old. Great work on his part under the worst possible working conditions. Very satisfied!

Allen, our electrician sent out from Mr. Sparky, was great to work with. He was professional and even offered his own flashlight for our family to use while he was working outside. He was quick to see a major issue that needed the power company;'s immediate attention and spoke to the power company dispatcher for us to ensure they came out right away. Very professional and felt he went the extra mile.

Allen called and informed me of his estimated arrival and was ontime. He immediately began working on the installation of my whole house surge protection and separate surge protection on the new Generac 16KW natural gas whole house standby generator that he installed two days earlier. He was very polite yet professional in answering all my questions regarding how the system works, what to look for, and do, if I have a power surge or lightning strike. When the work was completed, he vacuumed the power panel to remove all metal particles in the panel to assure maximum safety and reliability. Before he left he again reviewed what he did and made sure he had answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Honestly, I could not ask for better service than Allen provided.

Mister Sparky sent their technician David T out to do a consultation on doing some rewiring on a generator system at one of my commercial properties. I appreciated his expertise. I learned a lot from him and the system we have at this particular site. I'm looking forward to getting back an estimate for the work we are hoping to have done based on his consultation.

NEVER, EVER use Mr. Sparky. On the original call, they advised a $59 fee to come out. When the tech arrived and I told him the problem, he advised ANOTHER $250 fee, just to look at the issue. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have called another company. They quote a repair cost of over $900 (later googled the type of repair is usually around $500). The guy says they will need to build a platform to reach the fan and they would return the next day. When they returned, the tech tried to reach the fan from a ladder instead of building the platform, fell from the ladder and put his knee thru my ceiling. When I was asked to pay the balance, I said I was waiting for a bill and they said they didn't send bills and I needed to just go to their website to pay. WHY NO BILL??? I also called them and while on hold, they have a message saying if they are not on time, the repair is free...they give you a 12 HOUR WINDOW for when they will show. Worst experience I ever had with a company. *** Follow up to your response*** The tech quoted the additional price BEFORE looking at the problem- this could have easily been done by the phone tech when I first explained the issue.

I am so impressed with Mr. Sparky. We paid 250 dollars (Plus 60 for a ladder) for another contractor (Craftsman Republic). Our large ceiling fan really required 2 installers. Craftsman Republic sent one installer and he struggled with the fan. He started cussing out the fan as if it was a person out of frustration. Upon installation, the ceiling fan had a terrible wobble. He had a lame excuse that wobble was normal - even at low speeds. Shocking!! Craftsman Republic sent the original installer for re-install and repair. But, he showed up with a ladder that shorter than the original one. He was hopeless and could barely reach the bottom of the fan. The installer (Visit #2) failed to address the terrible wobble. He abruptly left the house while I was on the phone with the manufacturer. I called Craftsman Republic and left several emails but did not receive one response. The bottom line is that Mr. Sparky by Wise Electric Control came to the rescue. I had lost faith in anyone showing up and doing a fine job. Will and his helper were simply outstanding. I am so impressed that I immediately ask for estimates of another ceiling fan, recess cans and additional lights throughout the house. As a business, I take customer service and showing what right looks like. Mr. Sparky's aptitude, professionalism and customer care shows what right looks like. Craftsman Republic showed what wrong looks like. Although I will never get my money back from Craftsman Republic, I know have a true electrician who gets the job done. Have a great day and I look forward to Will (& Mr Sparky) coming back to our home. BTW, Craftsman Republic is the local installer for anyone purchasing fans through 1-800 Lighting. It is not 1-800 Lighting fault. I put the blame of losing 310 dollars squarely on the door step of Craftsman Republic. I want to say thank God for Mr. Sparky. I am enjoying my fan. I even took a picture of Will and his helper taking care of us. They certainly welcome to Mi Casa.

Mr Sparky and Brandon in particular were prompt, efficient, and polite. They got done what I needed done quickly and with minimal fuss. Strongly recommend.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in Mister Sparky. Paul, the gentleman who came out today was very friendly and I have no complaint about him personally.But I feel I was misled. I was told on the phone that I would be charged a $49 fee for the visit, which is normal. But when Paul showed up, he told me immediately that in addition to the $49 fee, I would also be charged an $89 diagnostic fee. So in other words, I was already out $138 before he even pulled his tools out of the truck. It is normal practice for the $49 to be a minimum fee, but for that fee to cover the diagnosis also. I feel ripped off by their tactics, and will never use them again for any work at my home or at our homeowners' association. There is definitely follow-up work that needed to be done here, but I will not use Mister Sparky to do the work. They were penny-wise and pound-foolish as the old saying goes. If you are going to charge someone $138 no matter what, you should be ethical enough to say so on the phone. Shame on MS for their slick tactics!

The technician with Mister Sparky was very professional and knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was able to fix what another electric company in the area had totally messed up. I wish I had gone with them first.

Over a year ago I had the company come out and they fixed two outdoor plugs, added one to my garage and then adjusted or “upgraded” my electrical panel. Fast forward to now... I got another outlet installed in my garage and had an electrician friend look at the work mr sparky had done. He told me the work that had been done should have only cost me ~$300 or less. I WAS CHARGED OVER $1000. They also try to up sale you on unnecessary upgrades. They give you three options. Refuse them all and call a small business electrician to come out. I know I will with anything from now on.

I'm having a dishwasher installed. I needed a new supply line and gfc outlet. Brenton did a great job. He was on time and did a great job fairly quick. Highly recommend this company

I called Mr. Sparky to help with installation of ceiling fans and outdoor lights, but instead, got them to bring my circuit breaker box up to code and fix sloppy work performed over the years; wires that weren't tied off, wrong circuit breakers, and so on. They arrived on time and broke down all the costs for me, for both the installation and breaker box. Since the installation WAS something my husband and I could do ourselves, I decided to have the breaker box done over, including all new circuit breakers. Perhaps I could have found a lower price, but I didn't try. I chose Mr. Sparky, not just because they were already here, but due to their professionalism, their ability to clearly explain and point to each problem, and their straightforward demeanor with NO scare tactics or pressure. They performed all the work right away. Now everything is brought up the code, and I have no worries!

We had substantial damage to the incoming wiring at two structures after a large tree on our property fell. Will arrived within two hours, did a walk through, and in less than 24 hours everything was repaired. Meantime, the other company I called for emergency service still had me on their wait-list when I called to cancel because the repairs were done.

Brandon called this morning to let me know he would be here in about 30 mins. He reviewed the situation, advised me as to what work would be negated and proceeded to get started. He worked the entire day until the job was completed. I have nothing but praise for this employee.

I first heard of them from their commercial, forget the malarkey call Mister Sparky, that stuck in my head, but then when I had an electrical need and I googled electricians, Mister Sparky was the first to pop up in my search. My technician, Daniel was their early (window was from 8am-12pm, he was there at 8:30am), very helpful, professional and informative on my electrical situation. The technician that came out to our house was great. He’s the only reason for the single star. Before any service was preformed we decided to go a different route, but that didn’t stop the office from charging us $700. When I called to dispute the charge, Ann from the office was extremely rude and called me a liar! She claimed the services had been preformed and the charge was legitimate. I had to call the the technician on his day off (poor guy) to get him to verify that there was infact no reason for the charge. Days went by with no word, so I called them back. Talked to Ann again, received no apologies whatsoever and she claimed that they don’t do immediate refunds, that we’d have to wait 30 days for a check in the mail, we’ll its been 35 and we still haven’t received a dime. I called back to speak to her and again today she was incredibly rude. GO WITH ANOTHER CONPANY. It’s not worth the BS you have to put up with.***UPDATE***Apparently the owner thinks it’s ok for his office employees to call clients liars. This blows my mind. I have never been treated with such suspicion over something that should be black and white on paper. And per my original post, I DID call today to check on the status of my refund, and was told to wait.

Will was on time, diagnosed the problem very quickly, and had it fixed in practically no time at all. Very reasonable pricing. For this minor repair, A+, and I'm impressed enough to try them when larger issues arise.

I originally gave a good review when the technician came out to view the job to give a quote. Never heard from them since. No follow up no follow through. They could at least call to say they could not handle the job for the company I work for.

I had the luck of working with Brandon. It was nearly 8K of electrical wiring to set up a mining rig. None of the other electrician even knew what a Bitcoin mining machine was. Brandon took the time to learn what they were, how to tell which dashboard to replace. He was extremely personable. He is OCD in a good way. He kept the work space clean and I learned as the job went on extremely crafty. Very satisfied customer.

Thought I would give them a try. High reviews.. lots of them. Well.. while the electrician was personable and seem to know his stuff, he forgot to close the crawl space door, and left the cover off of the electrical meter after leaving. They are also VERY pricey. I would recommend shopping around.

Brandon was my technician and he was kind, polite, honest, and straight forward. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I would absolutely recommend them and hire them again.

The technician showed up an hour late. He was condescending yet friendly. Prices were out of this world...way high. To mount a tv and pull a cable and electric wire about 6 feet was quoted as a flat fee of more than $900+. I asked him to leave as I have enough sense to know when I am being taken advantage of. When i had time, I did the work myself in about 45 minutes and everything is good. I have since had other electrical work done by a different electrical company and asked what they would have quoted me and MS was about 4x higher. I would not recommend them. Interestingly, they asked me to submit a review.

Rick arrived on time and after checking with me about the problems proceeded to quickly diagnose and fix the problem with my Generac Guardian 20KW home generator. I had Mr Sparky come out and quote changing out my meter/panel combo unit, add a subpanel in my shop, trench between the two , and run the feeder to the subpanel. The technician was great, very professional, on time, and easy to deal with.The prices were another story. Outrageous.Twenty thousand dollars for two panels and a roughly 100' ditch between them. There's maybe $1,200 in parts for the entire job. I guess they can keep selling their overpriced services to doctors and lawyers in Chatlotte.UPDATE: I had this job done, parts, labor, and permitting fees, for $2,800. Don't let Mr Sparky rip you off.

What started out as a call to install a new outlet for our new stove turned out to be much, much more. Just bought old (1923) farmhouse and was going to inquire about a backup generator. A few questions asked and we got lined up for a new Generac. Dante was/is the best service tech we could have asked for. Super friendly, knowledgeable and extremely good at his job. Our home project is done and we couldnt be happier. Mr. Sparkie is our go-to electric company and Dante is our go-to tech.

The service is great.The selling by the techs is just priced to high. I had a service call for $59 (which was way too cheap) and that is all I ended up paying. The tech suggested we switch out the GFCI for over $200. I said No but I believe he would have convinced my wife it was worth it. Thats just way to high for an outlet that costs about $10 and takes about 10 minutes to change out.So the tech rocked, the Customer Service rocked, they solved my problem, but I think for about 20-40% less mark-you you would get more sales.There good, but you will be out an arm or a leg if you dont pay attention.

So.......as other reviewers note, the Mr. Sparky guys arrived for a $49.00 assessment and bid.The tech spotted the same thing that two competing companies did, a bad main breaker in an old panel which was dropping various circuits intermittently.The tech asked me if he could show me the bad breaker, I agreed and he popped it out to show me arc-points where the fault was.So he grabs a pre-printed shiny glossy sales book, with 'plans' and 'levels' (gold/silver/etc) for the slated repair, all with bells and whistles, and delivers a $4900 (cheapest option) bid for the panel replacement.I should mention here that their M.O. seems to be to have one technician sit down with you and discuss the bid (and all the stuff that comes with their 'plans') while another stands over you - not sure if this is on purpose but I can see how someone with less spine could easily be intimidated by this posture.So I tell him I'd like to think about this, as it is about 2 to 3 times what a former electrician friend had said I should expect to pay - also I didn't have $5k on-hand as we'd just purchased the home.The tech says that now that he's removed it, he cannot re-install the breaker, and can only install a temporary main breaker (not the panel, mind you) at a cost of about $400.Since I had no power, a fridge full of food, and a family, I had little choice but to accept.In all fairness to him, the tech said he'd back that cost out of the panel replacement cost if I accept his proposal.However, I was then alerted that the Mr. Sparky is franchised by Wise Electrical, a company well-known in the HVAC world (under their sister company One Hour Air) as 'a pack of sharks' who overcharge hugely.We ended up getting the same work done for $1200 by another contractor, and that included running coaxial and power to a new location behind our wall-mount TV.But Mr. Sparky made sure that they made their money off of me that dayRemember, if your contractor has billboards, shiny trucks, uniforms, and TV commercials, YOU are paying for all of that.The only thing 'wise' about Wise electrical is how much more careful you'll be after being taken by this outfit.

We moved to a new house and our living room fan was not working which is a high ceiling one.. we called Mister Sparky and initially they told they would charge $59 for coming and diagnosing the issue and if we ask them to fix it would be $200 but we were asked to pay $510 just to fix this and change 2 bulbs. Now the lights are again not working.. we called them and they are saying if the bulbs are fused then they are again going to charge us. The repair was done not a month back.. Don’t know about the quality of work, but customer service is horrible. Called about getting set up ceiling fans changed in my house. Ask for a ballpark quote because I was comparison shopping. Woman on the phone said “we can’t tell you how much without coming out.” I explained I wasn’t looking for an exact amount just a range so I wouldn’t get off work for nothing. She refused. Took my business elsewhere and am satisfied.

Found we have serious electrical switch and outlet issues and the seller of this home did a remodel and spliced aluminum and copper wires together which is going to be a large amount of money. Jordan was very professional and took his time explaining everything. Thanks for help!

Terrible. Just awful. Do not use this service. 1 star for quick to setup appointment...everything after that is downhill. Wanted to have dimmer switch replaced, outdoor step lighting fixed and 4 fluorescent light ballasts fixed. Was quoted EACH ballast replacement for $400...that's $1,600 for 4. I YouTubed the repair and easily figured out how to change a ballast. The ballast at Lowe's cost $29 and if I wanted to go nuts and replace the ENTIRE fixture with LED it was $65 bucks. TOTAL RIP OFF. Also, couldn't figure out how to fix my step lighting BUT STILL CHARGED ME $400 FOR THE diagnostic. Lastly, replaced the dimmer switch with a regular two-way switch that didn't dim...had a family member come help me replace Mr Sparky's crappy work and was terrified how the wires were loosely connected and had electric tape holding them on to the connectors. My family friend said this was 100% the wrong way to install the switch and potentially could be a fire hazard because the switches they replaced was arcing. All and all, I think I was told to pay $800-$1,000 for not fixing two things and poorly replacing a simple switch. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

These guys are the highest priced estimate they quoted me over 4000 dollars to install two outlets and an electric car charging station .The guys that duke energy sent over quoted me1500 for the same job ,that’s 2500 more these guys are definitely trying to over charge me don’t even let them in your home don’t waste your time.

199$ upfront and 350$ for diagnostic, insane price. If it's not a emergency look somewhere else. It took about 10 mins to find the problem it was a GFI outlet that got tripped and needed to switch it back on just a freakin switch.
