I needed to find an electrician to connect a swim spa/corvana cover, that I had recently purchased. I called Livewire and Bobby came out that same day. He explained everything that needed to be done and gave me a reasonable price for it all. Bobby was also very flexible when we had to push out the date of the job due to issues with the Spa vendor. All in all it was a great experience! Bobby was professional, thorough, and even followed up with me after he left to make sure that everything continued working properly. As someone who has investment properties and often works with electricians/contractors, I have to say that this is one of the best experiences that I’ve had. Hands down I would call Livewire electrical for any other electrical jobs I may have.

I tried installing a light fixture to my ceiling on my own and failed miserably. After giving up, I immediately gave Bobby a call and he was able to come over the next day and he installed the fixture within 10 minutes and made it look so simple. I can not say enough good things about Bobby! He diagnosed what the problem was over the phone. He was very knowledgeable. He was able to come out quickly. He fixed the problem and then came back an hour later to make sure everything was still working correctly. The amount he charged was 1/2 the price of what everyone else I called was going to charge. Bobby saved me. I purchased an EV and went through a series of electricians (no knock on them because they had the electrical part right) and a horrendous car branded charger (which came with no instructions and required a Ph.D in electrical engineering to figure out) before Bobby stepped in, swapped out the charger, and got me on my way in under an hour. He was personable and professional and I would recommend him for any electrical work.

I had recently closed on a house and needed the panel upgraded, 4 GFCIs installed in the garage, a dimmer upgraded to LED and various switches upgraded. Certainly no small task! I called LiveWire Electrical on a Sunday and Bobby came out next day to inspect and provide a quote. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly. He pulled the permit and came next day to complete the panel overhaul plus the additional items in 4 hours, while I worked from home!! Bobby came to advise on a car charging project and location. He was so helpful and gracious and answered all questions, even some i had not thought of. When installation occurs it will be him. AND he has an electric car and charger at his own home so he truly knows the score on car charging.

Bobby, knows his stuff which is what you want when hiring an electrician, but know you are gonna pay a premium. He charges 25% to 50% more compared to other electricians.

Great Customer Service! Entered a request for service/estimate monday morning, with desire for work to be completed that day. I had 4 exterior light fixtures installed and thought Bobby did a great job until a few months later...

One light stopped working and 2 others were finicky so I asked Bobby to come back and check them out because Livewire has a customer satisfaction guarantee. After 5 follow up texts/calls, he finally showed up and acted very annoyed and was extremely unprofessional. He stated that my lights were bad quality and after looking at the broken light, he showed me it was full of water. This was interesting to me because the day he was here to install them, he had to run to a home improvement store to buy waterproof casings to stop them from getting water in them and this was something we paid extra for.

He then started blaming the issue on the gutters which were in the same shape they were in the last time he was here. And why was this not brought up during the initial installation if it could have posed a problem? He angrily agreed to check the other lights and then said I would have to pay an additional $120 for the service fee to have him check his work which I refused to pay. While checking the rest of the lights, he took leaves out of my gutters and started throwing them aggressively in my yard and said I was wasting his time. How unprofessional?!?! I asked him to leave.

A few weeks later, I had a different electrician come and he confirmed that Bobby's job was not done fully or correctly. Without issues, he was able to repair the lights and showed me that Bobby did not screw in the lights properly and he never installed the waterproof casing that we paid extra for.

Please do not use this company. I was shocked and very disappointed.

Bob left another job he was on to help us get up and running so we could get back to work. He also troubleshot the problem and was absolutely correct about it being a Duke energy issue. He fixed the issues on our property that Duke caused and if we have any future electrical issues we will call Bob because of his professionalism and knowledge of electrical systems and pathways.

Called and asked for them to.come out to replace a panel box. They asked for pictures cause they said they don't come out. So I sent photos. Asked them to email me the estimate. That was last week. Still haven't received it. I will not be using this company. Will be calling someone else. I will not recommend them. If you can't send a estimate why would I trust you to do your job right.

Hurricane Michael swept thru town Thursday afternoon and left me with a present in the form of a fallen tree. The tree took out a number of things, but most important was the power line. This was my mother’s home and I live out of town, I can’t leave her without power. Understandable getting an electrician at this time was difficult, they were in high demand. Saturday bought hope with an electrician who came by to look at the problem and said he would be right back after another small job. In short, he never showed up and wasted my opportunity for power Saturday. Saturday pm I found Livewire electric and Bobby had good reviews from all. I submitted a service request via his website. Followed up with an email with pictures of the problem, thinking it would be helpful for the electrician to see the issue the next morning. To my suprise Bobby texted me back within 15 min, letting me know he would be over in the morning. True to his word he was here at 9 am. He looked at the issue and said I need a new riser and wire in order to restore power. He was fair and explained why items were necessary to be repaired, if it was not obvious. He said he would be done by noon. He was finished by 11:30am. Bobby is very professional, knowledgeable and has compassion for his clients and their situations. On the Upside:
We hired LiveWire Electrical to replace our main breaker panel and run a new outlet and coaxial cable for a wall-mount TV.
Without charging us for the initial estimate, their bid came in at less than 1/4 what a national chain had for the same scope of work.
I am in the construction trades, and I have to say that they are an outfit I will hire in the future as needs arise - professional, extremely courteous, and addressed our needs quickly, rearranging their schedule to deal with our house, which was without power.

On the downside:
As another reviewer notes, we did receive our receipt by email, however no written warranty has been provided.
They don't arrive in a work truck with shiny decals, nor do they utilize uniforms, and I had to pick up a couple cigarette butts in my backyard.

All told, if you want spit and polish and care what the neighbors think about your contractors, call someone else - if you want the job done right the first time, fully explained (and shown) to you, fopr a fantastic price from a licensed sparky, call Bobby at LiveWire.

Bob installed 4 recessed lights, hung a fan, and replaced 3 fixtures for me. He showed up on time and worked with speed and ease. I will definatley call Bob again for any electrical needs.

He canceled on me twice and then showed up an hour late when I was the first appointment in the morning. He told me worst case scenario there would be two holes in the wall but that he would try to avoid that. 30 minutes later he was done and I had two holes in my wall, didn’t seem like he tried very hard. He charged me $315 before tax for a GFI outlet it took him 30 minutes to install. No separate circuit.

Had these guys install a meter box and service mast for me. They drilled a bunch of holes in my soffit trying to find a spot for the mast and left their trash all over the ground. The worst part was they didn't install the roof boot over the mast correctly AND didn't bother to tell me about. When I spotted it and requested they install it correctly, they claimed they weren't a roofer and demanded immediate payment. Glad I checked, saved myself a costly roof repair. They came back out after I requested, they pick up the trash and fix the boot and they caulked the boot to the shingles.

Scheduled service a week in advance. When he did not show up on time I texted him, no response, I called him and he said that he would be an hour late. LiveWire eventually fixed our electrical issue, but will not give us a receipt. As he was walking out the door he said Send me your email address and I will email you your receipt. This was about 2 months ago. When he did not respond to my email, I called. He then said to text him my email address and he would send the receipt. That was over a month ago. Since then I have sent 2 text requests and left 2 voicemails...all with NO RESPONSE. If you are going to gurantee your work, you should not have a problem giving us a receipt!!!!
