Luis & Jonathan came to our house to assess the work required to install our large chandelier in our living room with 18ft ceilings. They were cordial and worked well with each other as a team. Luis and Pepe returned for the installation appt. They arrived several hours after the quoted timeframe (likely due to taking care on other jobs), but they were very professional. I appreciated how careful they were with the furniture and floors of my home. They were extremely polite. They were thoughtful and strategic about their approach from setup to installation to clean up. It was a large ladder with tight space and very high ceilings so they took their time and did not rush through the installation. The light fixture looks fantastic and Luis and Pepe did a phenomenal job!

We recently had a whole house generator installed. Will and the Viva Electric crew were very professional and courteous. As we are both working from home, they worked with us during the whole process keeping us informed on the time they needed to cut our power which was a very short time. They also provide veteran’s discounts which I was glad for. I highly recommend them and will continue to do business with them for all my electrical needs.

I don’t do this very often but I just had to say that JOHN came out today and was an absolute professional! Took his time explaining everything and was great with our dogs. The installation of the new outlet outside went smoothly and didn’t take very long at all. We will for sure be using these guys again because of John.

We had some work done on a room that caused a wiring break. Thomas and Ransom came very quickly at the time agreed. They investigated, diagnosed, repaired and then double checked everything in 1/3 the time other vendors had quoted. Them showing up was great as a different vendor had scheduled to come out and just never showed at all. They were both pleasant and professional. I recommend them and their company highly!

My husband and I absolutely love this company. A month or so ago we had a problem with our lights in our hallway. Low and behold we forgot we had a third switch that I guess was halfway turned on(to our credit we have two kids and our brains don’t work sometimes haha). Dan and another technician (I didn’t catch his name) came out and when he found the problem (which is very quick) they were both so nice about it to us.. they could’ve made us feel dumb which we already felt embarrassed haha However, they were so nice about it to us. We were so impressed we knew with any future electric problems that we would call them first thing.My husband and I had been wanting to switch out our light fixture in our dining area and had found one we really liked at Lowe’s. Zack and Ben came out yesterday on time and again we were blown away by how awesome the technicians that work at Viva Electric are. Zack and Ben had wonderful customer service skills and very professional. They really went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right, done well, and that we were happy before they left. They even made sure our kitchen table was perfectly centered in the room when they left. Again, with having two little ones our brains weren’t working and we forgot to get lightbulbs for our new light fixture beforehand.To them they acted like it was no big deal and made sure we had lights for our fixture. Ben went to the store to buy us some light bulbs so we could really enjoy our new fixture! We will always call Viva Electric for our electrical problems/ projects because the past two times we’ve had them, they have been amazing Thanks Viva Electric! I highly recommend this company!

Very professional on the phone and the technician was great with my 240v EV outlet install. I’m very pleased with the work, my only “downside” is the job was quite a bit more expensive than I thought it would have been. But I would rather have it done right, than wrong. Overall really happy with the service.

I work from home and when the power suddenly went out in the middle of the day and the power company was unable to help me diagnose and correct the issue from home, I was in a bit of a bind. Chris Holms called me within 2 minutes of receiving my contact information via a social media referral. I had already called 3 electrical companies without being connected to a technician, and Chris was immediately different than the others. He came out personally to diagnose and repair the issue, arriving when he said he would, and fixing the issue within minutes. He was professional and enthusiastic, ready to answer all the questions we had for him, and provided some quotes to correct the handyman special the previous homeowners left behind. He is very knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does. Highly, highly recommend!

After a lightning strike on my home, Viva was able to arrive early the next morning and evaluate the breakers and outlets in the affected area and provided a thorough analysis and options to move forward. Very professional and knowledgeable and the repair plan laid out was quite easy to follow and understand.Would definitely call again if needed.

Just got my panel circuit breaker board upgraded from a 125 amp to 200. I called them yesterday and they came out and gave me a fair and honest quote, got all the parts came back this morning to install. They were here all day and always wore their mask and we’re just kind and nice guys: Luis and Danny.Highly recommend them, professional, kind, and fair.

Making the appointment online was quick and easy and they were available in just a few days. They confirmed the appointment beforehand and they also let me know that they were able to come earlier when they finished the previous job sooner than expected. When Jon arrived he got right to work when I showed him the problem and he gave me several options to fix the issue.. He eas finished before the original appointment time, so we could both get on with our day. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Nick Turner did an excellent job working on the electrical issues at our house. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was working properly, even suggesting that Duke Energy put a voltage recorder to monitor the voltage and correct the situation. Would recommend him as a great electrician.

I submitted a web form to get an appointment. They called me nearly immediately and had Jon put that day. Jon was super friendly and professional as well as efficient. He was able to take care of my outlet installs and give me quotes for everything else I needed done. I would use Viva again.

Jon showed up on-time and quickly diagnosed the issue in my electrical panel. Jon repaired it and I had power back on in my two affected rooms within 30 minutes. Jon did a fantastic job explaining the issue and getting it resolved. I'll call him in the future for any other electrical issues.

I was having problems with my microwave and thought the problem was in my breaker box. Merlin Hernandez was dispatched to my home. He was able to figure out my issues within a few minutes, which was with the microwave itself. He was extremely helpful and professional. I highly recommend both Viva Electric and make sure to ask for Merlin.

Thomas Shepherd was incredibly helpful & most importantly trustworthy. Diagnosed the issue well but instead of only pushing his own solution, also recommended other companies he thought may have more expertise in this particular internet issue. “I didn’t want to sell you on something I wasn’t 100% confident would fix the problem.” So hard to find that sort of genuineness in this space and because of that I think few could go wrong having Viva look at their issues, knowing they’d point you in the right direction (with great recommendations) if they couldn’t help you themselves. We needed an urgent service and Viva handled the situation very professionally. Kelsey processed an urgent work order right on the spot, dispatched a tech, and followed up with me confirming the time of arrival. Luis Flores was able to fix our problem that we dealt with for months - just in a couple of hours. Excellent job, Viva!

Nezer from Viva Electric helped my family and I sleep a lot better after identifying our electrical issue (that was sparking in the wall!!) and repairing the electrical wire/electrical outlet that was causing our concern. What can I say about this company. It was a breeze to make an appointment w Viva electric. The young lady who makes the appointments was very polite, courteous, and professional. Highly recommend Viva Electric and especially Nezer. He’s done a few electrical projects at my property and he is punctual, communicative and does excellent work every time! I find Viva’s prices to be a little high, but I don’t mind given the quality of the work! Finding tradesmen that know their craft well and the peace of mind knowing the job was done right makes it totally worth it.

I had Viva out to give me a quote on some electric items in our house. They were prompt and the guy was nice enough......until he gave me the quote that was 500x the amount it should have been. They tried to charge over $500 for equipment which cost me $50 at Lowe's and an additional $600 to perform the work. AMP electric came out and did it for $150 with me providing the equipment. Classic case of trying to take advantage. AVOID.

Pepe was super nice and did a great job installing the new lights and outlets for the closet spaces in my new house. The lights he offered me in the original quote weren’t available at the time and he ended up offering me some that he found at the nearby hardware store, they were a little more expensive but he installed them at no extra cost to me. He was also super helpful in answering all my questions, 10/10 would recommend

Luis, Ransom, Thomas, and Sam were all consummate professionals. Knowledgeable, friendly, clean efficient just regular nice people who understand your need you can get it done at a fair price are just a few ways to describe them. They came, and did their job cleaned up and left with zero drama. Having been in the industry for over 30 years as a GC, I have seen all types of electricians. These guys by far are the best I have run across stop looking and give these guys a call.

Viva Electric while professional in some ways, did not satisfy me. They would not quote what the job would cost before they came out. When they did come out and diagnose and then solve the problem, they overcharged, charging about double the going rate. They ended up charging nearly $400 an hour for diagnosing the issue which was a broken circuit breaker and replacing it. They would not offer any discount upon being told that their fee was way out of line.

Jon showed extreme professionalism and care. Explained everything clearly for us to a level where we could understand. Definitely shows his experience. Will use the services again and recommend to everyone I know!

Amazing customer service and professionalism!! Ransom Plybon was my electrician who serviced me for a chandelier installation. Starting from the introduction and walkthrough, he was friendly and helpful in regards to what I was needing for this installation. Not only did he show me how to install future light fixtures but he also showed me other useful information regarding electrical systems around my home. As a first time homeowner, this information was invaluable to me. He completed my installation in record time and was courteous in ensuring everything was cleaned up from the job. I highly recommend Ransom and I will be calling him for all my future electrical-related needs!

I called Viva Electric for some kitchen outlets that were not working. I live in an older home where some of the electrical is still the old screw in fuses. Viva came out the same day I called and the electrician, Nezer Lucero, did an amazing job! He checked not only my issues but also looked over my other panel and the meter outside the house. He fixed my problem quickly and did a wonderful job! The price was also great and Nezer also gave me some other quotes on work I need to have done. I would highly recommend Viva Electric!

Ransom came out to our house as we had several outlets the were inoperative in one room. He was able to determine that I had one outlet that was arcing and disrupting the circuit to the other outlets. Due to Ransom’s expedient and expert work, we now have all outlets operating properly.

On-time, professional, would recommend. The company actually gets back to you and is able to schedule quickly. They may or may not be more expensive than your local guy who's been the local guy for eons but they are well worth it in regards to responsiveness, professionalism, and conduct.

I received three quotes from different companies for our project before deciding to use Viva Electric. Their pricing was right in-line with the other vendors but their professionalism clearly set them above the others. I was able to book an appointment quickly and easily through the website and then received text alerts about the technician assigned to our job, along with a picture so we knew who to expect.Our technician, Tommy Vaughan, was awesome! He took time to go over the various options we had for our project and explained the pros, cons, and costs of each. He was very open and honest about the challenges of the job and helped set our expectations accordingly. He also showed up 5 mins early for both the consultation appointment and on the day of the job as well!Viva does charge a $50 consultation fee that gets applied to your job if you choose them. We found this was pretty standard. They were also able to get us scheduled within the same week of our consultation.Overall, great service, great value and would definitely use Viva again.

We are first time home buyers and have no experience getting electrical work done. Luis was able to come out and do a quote the same week that we called and able to come out to do the work (upgrade the electrical panel and change out some outlets) the following week. Luis was great - he explained everything to us, didn’t try to “sell” us more work, and worked with us to help us stay in our budget. We’d absolutely use Viva Electric again!

Tommy Vaughn was at our house all day repairing problems in our 35 year old townhouse. He checked each of our identified problems, pointed out a few other issues, gave us an estimated cost to fix each one, got necessary parts, brought in extra help, including Mr. Sam and Mr. WILSON. Our circuit breaker box needed some circuits replace, some light switches didn't work at all, new lights needed installation, list went on and on. Tommy wouldn't leave until each problem was fixed. He let us know problems that were serious and problems that could wait. By end of day, all was complete, messes were cleaned up, and our electric issues were solved. They wanted $1800 to replace 2 exterior light fixtures, see if they could add an electric outlet, and check out reason shower light wouldn't work. We said it was way too expensive and technician left. He came back a little later and reduced price to $1200. We paid service call of $69 and said no way. Neighbors recommended HD Electric & Lighting who did same work for $225.

Viva Electric came to our house to figure out why 4 kitchen outlets stopped working. They only charge $49 to come out, which is waived if you hire them to do the repairs. Tommy Vaughan was the electrician we met, and he was very friendly and knowledgable, he came across as very honest and fair. He replaced one GFI outlet, which fixed all the outlets that weren’t working. It was a 15 minute job and he charged us for 15 minutes of work (other places would have charged for the whole hour, plus the fee to come out). We were extremely happy with the work and the entire transaction and I HIGHLY recommend Viva Electric if you want dependable and reasonably priced work done. Thank you Tommy and Viva Electric!

I’ve used Viva Electric a few times now, and they’ve done a great job each time. About a year ago, I was having issues with a GFCI and entire circuit tripping repeatedly, and Chris was able to get it fixed immediately. He also looked at & fixed a few other minor things while he was here. Today Luis came out to fix some melted hot water heater wiring. He ended up able to come earlier than my scheduled window, which was extremely appreciated. He ended up installing a new shutoff adjacent to the water heater to bring it to code, and repaired the connections where the wire overheated and nut had melted. The estimate and final price were reasonable (and the same, which isn’t always the case). Luis provided several options for work to be done today, and didn’t try to pressure or scare me into purchasing anything I wasn’t comfortable with, just presented all options and gave me the opportunity to think it over and schedule later.I also asked for an estimate for and ended up scheduling replacement of my Zinsco panel for next week. The estimate for this was also reasonable and in completely in line with what I’ve gotten from other electricians.Scheduling appointments is super easy (I’ve done both online and over the phone and communication in general is great. They also take tons of photos and send detailed documentation of the work they did (along with walking you through it before they leave). I for sure recommend using them if you need electrical work done.

Tommy Vaughan serviced our home after we lost power to two of our rooms. Although given no information to go off of, he was able to find the issue and find a solution for us rather quickly. He worked diligently to make sure that we were comfortable with our solution and how to fix our issue long term, as it was not an issue with our electrical system. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband was comfortable with the solution we decided upon, and offered to come back and install the additional part once we figured out what went bad. He was professional and understanding of our time and money. He was knowledgeable about our system and what could have happened to cause the outage. He rooted out the cause of our problem (which has stymied others), got it fixed and left me feeling extremely relaxed to know we’ve found an electrician, and an electrical service, we can rely on.

Luis arrived early. A little too early but that’s not a bad thing. I told him I had to take care of some business and couldn’t make it over to the property until about 1.5 hours later during the scheduled window of time. He said no problem and left and met me back at the property at that time. He showed me pictures of what the grounding wire looks like and out of all the electrical contractors that I had come by to take a look-see and provide a quote, he was the only one that brought up the fact that the grounding wires could be hooked up inside the electrical box outside rather than needing to drill from the exterior of the house into the panel on the inside of the house. Again, the ONLY one and I had 3 other contractors out there before him and not a single one brought this fact up. He also showed their price on the spot once he showed the pictures and said he could get it done that day, which he did and the pricing was very competitive. It was actually lower than any of the other quotes I had received. After the work was finished, Luis emailed me pictures and a video of the work that was done. I highly recommend Viva electric. I’m a real estate investor that renovated homes so I will definitely be using their services again for other properties where electrical work needs to get done. It’s very rare to come across a contractor like this. They are not created equal. In my opinion, Viva Electric and Luis sets the bar high. Thank You.

Tommy Vaughan was amazing to work with! We needed to add another outlet to our garage for a workout machine to be installed on the wall appropriately. He was able to do it the day he came to look at it which was great since we were getting the machine delivered that week. There was little to no damage to the wall when installing another outlet! From Jayna in the office to Tommy & JJ on the install team my experience with Viva was outstanding. I had a 18' ceiling fan changed and had a number of issues crop up (the fan company didn't included a long enough cord for the extended downrod, nor did I have the correct diameter downrod). None of the issues were Viva's fault or under their purview, but they helped me throughout the entire process nonetheless. Including refitting my fan to accept the right downrod! Absolutely the best contractor experience that I've had in years. Their follow-up and follow through were top notch as well. I'll definitely be hiring them again for any electrical needs.

Couple of weeks ago I needed a data cable run through a very challenging spot for a personal project. Not wanting to botchup the walls everywhere, I decided a skilled electrician was needed. Called several places and appointments were booked out for weeks+, told Viva Electric my issue and time constraint I was working under and they were extremely helpful in squeezing me into an early appointment to get an estimate from their technician.Dan and Noel showed up practically on the dot of estimated time frame of appointment, I told them of my situation and after chatting with them for a bit it was clear my original suspicion at the complexity of the issue was justified but they were not deterred. After taking measurements and swapping ideas, Dan came up with a plan of approach that I thought was quite clever and out of the box sort of thinking. They gave me the estimated cost and I found it a fair price. The work was done very clean and the job looks great, a snag occurred half way through the route but given the construction of the house and the odd location it was not too unexpected. Dan and Noel adapted the original plan and you really cannot notice the difference.I must say I really enjoyed my interactions with Viva Electric as a company, and Dan and Noel were great people to chat with and get to know a little. I could tell they have a real passion for the work they do and that Viva is a great company to work for. It's no longer a surprise to me why this company has such a high track record of 5 star customer reviews here on Google, that passion translates to a successful emphasis on quality work and customer satisfaction. Dan and Noel were more than accommodating to my special requests to change out a different data line technology I preferred and outlet design to allow me to have an extra port for future expansion for my own personal projects.I will definitely be using Viva Electrical again for some AC lines that are lacking in certain places!

I had a great experience with Tommy at Viva Electric. I had a difficult to diagnose issue and we were able to work together to find the problem. Prices are fair and were clearly communicated in advance. He was also fair in assessing needs versus nice to haves. I would use them again.

None of the electrical outlets or lights worked in one bedroom of our house. We called Viva Electric and they sent out Tommy Vaughan the same day to work on it. He arrived promptly and spent the next five hours figuring out what the issue was. I have never seen such persistence in finding and fixing a problem! Tommy found that a wire was pulled out of the breaker for the circuit. What made this so difficult to figure this out is that the bedroom was on its own circuit, and the breaker was not labeled on the panel cover. He had to trace the wiring all the way down the wall to the basement where the panel was. He just did not give up, staying well past the end of the workday! Yesterday evening we had a power emergency at our home. Huffstetler Group are boring new power lines in our neighborhood to bury the power. They clipped our underground powerline due to poor marking by USIC LLC. Our power began to pulsate and breakers began to pop. The strong smell of burning metal in our home gave us quite the scare, so we turned the master breaker off. We were very concerned that the whole home surge protector never tripped and therefore our breaker box might be faulty, incorrectly installed or potentially damaged. The thought of turning the power back on and then going to sleep not knowing if we were in danger of a potential electrical fire due to faulty equipment was frightening. Viva Electric installed our new breaker box a few months back, so we frantically called them to come make sure everything was safe.Paul called me on his personal cell phone, left his home during the dinner hour and came to our house to check the breaker box and address our concerns, and make sure everything was safe. Paul went out of his way to ensure that once power was restored to the home, everything in our box was in proper working order and all of our electronics were operating properly. I am very grateful to know that Viva Electric stepped up and responded so quickly and professionally when we needed them the most. I really appreciate their quick response and it restored our confidence in Viva Electric. I highly recommend using them for all of your electrical needs.

Jon was excellent! He kept us informed the whole time. Gave us many options to pick from that fit our budget. They move many wire that were in our soffit so we could have cabinets go to the ceiling. He’s very professional and we would hire him and the company again!!

Would not recommend. Asked for house to be brought up to code and all wiring replaced. I still have old wiring and some lights don’t even work. Large holes in sheet rock that they took with them that I could have used to repair the hole. Fire alarms were not fixed. One outlet buzzed and I had to replace myself. I still have metal electrical boxes that were supposed to be replaced. Wiring under the house was not secured. I removed all the face plates and some wires were toughing and were black. Bathroom switches were left the same and so t match the rest of the house. No faceplates on outlets and asked why. They said, cause you said you were gonna pant. Yeah. In like a year. They wanted to do the least amount of work possible.

I had an issue with the socket running my electric stove. Called around to multiple electricians in the area all of which said they couldn’t come out for a full week at the minimum. Called Viva and they had someone out within an hour. Not only that, they were able to repair the socket without replacing it, saving me money on the job. They were responsive, courteous, professional and fair. Would recommend to anyone asking.

UPDATE: Viva Electrics Quote was over $7000 more than the second highest quote. You heard that right. $7000. Seems to be a scam. Or they are taking advantage of people. Either way, look elsewhere.We had Viva Electric come to our home to estimate project costs for electricity. First off, this company quoted far more than other electricians and average charges. We were given an invoice that is difficult to read, and no one helped explain line items to us. We can't even pick and choose services because we don't know what the estimated costs represent. Overall, very unsatisfied and now we are out $50. Beware.

After having contacted 4 other electricians who were a no call/no show, we called Viva Electric. Our electrician, Jon was personable, professional and knowledgeable! We are so pleased with his work! Thank you!

I've used Viva before (along with other companies) and they never fail to deliver. The work is solid and the people they employ are great. I reached out in a bit of a panic because half of the outlets in my restaurant kitchen had gone out and they responded right away. It turned out to be something my chef was able to fix about five minutes before they arrived, but they didn't charge me an exorbitant amount for their trip like some other companies would have, even thought they made the trip for nothing. I dealt with Tommy Vaughan and John and they were both super understanding and helpful. I highly recommend Viva Electric.

Justin was very professional, knowledgeable and took the time to get the work done right versus rushing to get it done. I am an engineer and he was totally ok having conversations with me about what he was doing and why. He did a great job working around the existing construction constraints that I have, which is not easy, and did a great job at it. He was polite and cleaned up afterwards. I think Viva Electric might be pricier than some other electricians, but as a Mechanical Engineer who works in Continuous Improvement, I can tell you that this company lives up to the hype of all 5-star ratings and it is worth the extra cost so that it gets done right. In short, I would hire them again. It is worth mentioning that they bill you when they complete the work, which is something other companies never do; I always pay for work completed (by percentage done) and I was surprised when I was told to pay when it was done.

Tommy Vaughan and Mike Hoggard are real gems in the work force. These two men came in, diagnosed the issue with our electrical, upgrades my breaker box, and all in all fixed our place up in only three hours. They cleared anything that they thought would be beneficial with me first, they went over issues they found, and they put up with me and my two boys while they were working. I am very grateful for the hard work they did. For context, we lost power to all of our upstairs after an outlet was found sparking one night. Called Friday, they were out bright and early Monday, and fixed the issue before I had to go to work. I have had Viva Electric on 2 occasions. The electricians were excellent. They were prompt , respectful and efficient. While they were on an existing call they asked us if we ever considered whole house surge protectors? My husband had been considering installing them so he told them to proceed since they were already here. It took them 20 minutes, maybe 30 and the charge was 375 per unit. We needed 2. Once they left he found that the exact same surge protectors were 90 dollars on amazon. We really felt taken advantage of - paying 750.00 ( 570.00 for installation) for about 30 minutes of work and they were already here! My husband called the office to speak with someone. They said they would call us back. Have waited all week and have not received a call. Very disappointed in the value of Viva Electric!

Update Sep 2022: I called Viva again to do some electrical re-work for a bathroom remodel. There was a mix up on timing, but Kelsey, Tommy Vaughan, and Sam Sopher made it happen. Tommy and Sam worked until 8pm+ to get everything knocked out. They were very professional and left the space cleaner than they found it. Will continue to use Viva in the future.If you are looking for someone to help you find a solution and not do what only what is expected of them, call Viva and ask for Luis.I cannot speak more highly of my experience with Luis. I had aluminum wiring in my new home repaired and brought to code. Luis was very thorough and made all necessary repairs quickly, however, early the next morning I realized the furnace was not running. I called Viva and Luis came back less than two hours later. Further investigation showed that power was getting to the unit, and many electricians would have walked away with the recommendation to call a HVAC company. Luis went the extra mile and checked for a faulty breaker scenario that ended up giving false readings of power. He made the necessary repairs and got my heat running before temperatures dropped below freezing that night. His partner had said he had never seen this situation. I'm grateful for Luis' dedication to helping me as a client rather than checking off his requirements for the job.

I discovered Viva Electric via Google search. Even though I had never used them before I decided to hire Viva based on their positive reviews. Kris, our technician, helped fix an outdoor ceiling fan that had stopped working after I installed a universal remote on my own. Kris quickly identified the problem and had the fan working in no time. He was on time, professional, easy to talk to, and efficient. I would highly recommend Viva Electric!! It takes a lot for me to leave a review and should more often, but Luis and Danny came to my house today and did a fantastic job. They had great personalities, very respectful, quoted the work at a fair price and after I approved, they began immediately. Normally I have to wait weeks or more for a quote. These guys had a quote ready after assessing the scope of work and did the job in a difficult job in a quick amount of time. They left the site clean and I was impressed. They had to drill through concrete and fish wires to my outdoor rock fireplace and installed a receptacle foe a tv. We had a tree fall next to our house that completely detached the wires all the way past the meter. We called Viva and asked for Tommy Vaughn based upon a referral from our remodeling contractor. We needed an outlet installed above the mantle on our rock fireplace so that we could mount a tv there. Will, Cody, Kris, Travis & Zac are awesome. They’ve been super helpful and have done an amazing job over the last 4 jobs @ our house. They re-deviced the entire house and added new LED lighting in nearly every room with dimmers. We updated all exterior outlets. We replaced and moved our circuit breaker panel and added a surge protector. We added motion flood lights and ring flood cameras as well. These guys can do it all, and they’re super professional. I had to cancel the appointment and did so in a timely manner, But the morning of the appointment they actually texted me and asked me why I had to cancel. I don't feel that they are owed an explanation if you cancel In a timely Manner they do not need to pry into a person's business as to why they had to cancel the appointment I see that as totally unprofessional and rather narcissistic. No matter what is said the most relevant thing is the appointment needed to be canceled they don't have to know why.

Viva Electric is fantastic to work with! I worked with Jeff who did phenomenal work. I complimented his attention to detail, even down to vacuuming up debris from drilling, wiping down outlet covers, and explaining each step of the quote and project. He removed fluorescent lights from my laundry room and took them to be disposed of. He installed can lights with dimmers instead, added grounding outlets, and will be returning to replace my sketchy Pacific panel that's no longer serviceable. Jana at the front desk was incredibly helpful, and was able to dispatch Jeff for the project the day of after other companies hadn't even returned my phone calls. Will be working with Viva Electric and Jeff indefinitely. Highly recommend!

These guys did an amazing job. Our house was built in the early 1950s and needed some major electrical upgrades. Luis F., Cody, Mike and Zack were incredible! We have all new electrical outlets, installed two ceiling fans, put up two outdoors lights and upgraded the electrical in our sun room. We couldn't be happier with the work they did. And we'll be scheduling a follow-up soon for some more projects. Couldn't ask for better.

Sam and crew worked with us on and off for 4 months on a home renovation - from rough electric to final installs. They were awesome across the board. Worked mainly with Chris and Bill, who were always incredibly professional. We always felt that they had our best interests in mind, weren’t cutting corners, open to questions and feedback, extremely patient and great with our kids. We will only prefer to use viva for any electrical needs big or small going forward. Almost felt like having family around! Kids loved it when they would show up. And of all the subs we had working on the house, they were the best. Justin did a great job putting a 55-amp RV outlet at our house. In a matter of a few hours, he gave us exactly what we needed. I couldn't give 5 stars though, because the $69 service fee I thought would only be charged if I didn't accept the estimate, was charged to me anyway. I was told that policy changed recently.

During a storm a large branch fell and damaged our electrical panel/wiring leaving our home without power during the middle of summer. Viva Electric was very responsive to our urgent situation. Well a bit to say but in the end you will understand 5 stars. Our electrical mast from before we bought the house was not properly anchored. Over the years it had pulled, damaged our roof, and was close to breaking. The initial call lead to some confusion about when our tech would arrive but when Nezah got here all was well.My fears of a 4 figure bill to fix were actually quickly settled. Nezah was honest and gave us a stellar price, not requiring extra work and charge.Then, after he got supplies, the rain began sideways. This poor fellow hung in there and finished. I am ecstatic with the work and company in general. 10/10 I highly recommend

After some remodeling work, my hallway lights mysteriously stopped working. It wasn't the breaker, so, having reached the limit of my expertise, I called Viva. I was able to schedule service within 48 hours of requesting an appointment. Jeff and Zach arrived let me know they were on their way, arrived on time, took their shoes off/covered before entering my home and were friendly and professional the entire time. They let me know what they were doing and what to expect and made the repair quickly and efficiently while I worked. Additionally, they replaced a poorly functioning motion-sensing light with a regular switch. As they were leaving, the offered a few ways to improve the electric in my home, but not in a way that felt sale-sy or pushy. They also took the time to walk me through what was required to install electric for a vehicle in a condo residence. Having just done it, they were clearly knowledgeable and even had pictures to walk me through it. I would 100% use these guys again, and am sure I will. These guys were great.

Luis was great. He came in on time and assessed the situation promptly. He offered packages to me for the resolution. I didn’t feel pressured to pick any that didn’t fit my budget. He replaced a switch and realized that the garbage disposal still was not coming on. He went a step further and assessed the garbage disposal and saw that it was jammed. He fixed it and now the switch and disposal is working properly. I really appreciate his time and efforts.

I could not be happier with the service provided. The technician (JJ) was extremely helpful and courteous, and went so far as to check every single outlet on our ground floor without an up-charge to make sure they were safe, catching several that could have been potential hazards. Awesome experience with Viva Electric today. From the first call I placed this morning I felt that the cared and would work hard to ensure that our problem was solved. Our outdoor outlet stopped working after the cold rain this week, and the GFCI in the garage kept flipping off. I was dispatched a technician in less than 2 hours after my call, received a text message with Luis' contact info and photo and updates along his way to arrive at my home. He and his co-worker troubleshooted my issue, provided a cost effective solution and fixed the problem. They tested to make sure it worked and cleaned up after themselves. I was really impressed and happy with their service! The costs were reasonable and I am already looking at other areas in my home that will need repair in the future. We had a flickering of lights that was hard to pinpoint along with a few other jobs. Tommy came out and took care of the items but was diligent and determined to figure out the light flickering, which he did. I would highly recommend Viva Electric.

During bathroom remodeling, I asked for one flush mount light receptacle to be relocated and a second new one installed where it looked like one used to be. Poked the wall and discovered the receptacle was still there and hot, just covered over. I asked the electrician about adjusting the quantity on the work order and was told once the work order was approved, there was no way to change it. The work performed was good, just the billing policy seems oddly inflexible.

I received by far the best pricing for a service call fee compared to other companies. With Viva the fee is waived if they complete the work, which was not offered by other companies. I want to start by saying that I think her name is Gina who runs the office is wonderful!! She contacted me today when they were scheduled to come out and asked if I was ok with them coming early. Tommy Vaughan and Danny came to the house, we discussed several projects at hand. We addressed the most urgent issues and I was given a reasonable quote to have the work done. I have decided to split up the projects over a period but took care of the most pressing issues. Both gentlemen were polite, respectful of property and knowledgeable of the projects. This was my first time I needed to get an outlet installed in my bathroom. Tommy came through and installed the outlet. He also figured out we needed to update our panel that was outdated and had no surge protector. The whole process was great. I need a fixture installed and I had a problem with a circuit in my house. Viva was awesome from the moment I called them. The Rep that answered the phone was genuinely friendly. They were able to get me in the same day and arrived in the time window they quoted. They wired the fixture in no time and helped me address my list of concerns. I needed another 20amp circuit installed due to adding a freezer in my basement. We already have a 2nd fridge running so it made sense and certainly beats overloading what we've got. In most cases this can't be done without cutting open walls, which was the case with me.The work they did was great. Very clean cuts in the walls and left me with a large but easy drywall repair job. The same pieces cut from the walls to reach the panel went right back into place. Funny, but after building this house 2 years ago I was convinced that anyone performing quality work that gave a rip about what they do and how it looks was gone. Good to know there are trades that actually care about quality craftsmanship, let alone cleaning up after themselves.Will ( the electrician ) was considerate of our well-being, wearing a mask and keeping his distance. Hard to believe I just typed THAT. Sign of the times I guess. Nevertheless, good to know if you're concerned about it. I'm scared of letting anyone in my home nowadays due to Covid, so this worked out for us.Soon as I make the money we'll embark on the real work!Job well done. Great work, Will!

On 09.09.21 a vital piece of production equipment stopped working, in turn, stopping our entire production process. Although repairing equipment is typically not something for which we would call Viva Electric, but we were desperate to get up and running. No production, no income! We called veteran, Sam who arrived quickly and after hours to repair the problem and allow us to return to work the very next day. I hired Viva Electric to upgrade the circuit panel from 100 to 200 amps, add new outlet in the bathroom, and install a motion sensor porch light. They were fairly priced, had great customer service, and were prompt. I live in California so all communication was done by phone and email and everyone was very responsive. I've been a 20-year member of Angie's List and have used Thumbtack, Home Advisor, Nextdoor, etc so I'm pretty discriminating with work done on my home. I honestly don't recall how I discovered Viva, but I have used them twice now in less than a month (two independent/separate electrical problems - geesh!). Both times I had an electrical issue and also asked for a quote for additional service. Both times Viva had someone here the very day I called. Great, especially now since most contractors are booked out for weeks. JJ was service tech both times. He provided an easily understood, detailed, and FAIR estimate. I easily agreed with all the recommendations, improvement approaches, and cost and the work was all done the same day - within hours! Work was done professionally and JJ is very conscientious, cooperative, understanding, and personable. Can't say enough good things about Viva and JJ!

VIVA sent Tommy out to look at an issue with a HFCI circuit breaker. Tommy discovered the problem, explained why there was a problem, what was needed and promptly corrected the problem. I was extremely impressed with Tommy and Cory with Viva Electric. I called on a Wednesday at 12:00 pm and they were out by 1:15. My issue (a 'hot wire' somewhere in the crawl space) was solved by 2:15. They were both very professional and kind. I will definitely use them again!

Viva Electric has once again provided 5 star service for our residence. Our electrician, Jeff, was able to diagnose a less than straightforward problem (screw from a sliding barn door had pierced a wire high up on the bedroom wall) in less than 5-10 minutes, offered easy to understand solutions, and fixed the issue in a highly professional manner at a very reasonable price. Viva electric is hands down the only choice when it comes to residential electrical needs.

Technician came out within four hours of call and did a quick fix to get power back on to a pond recirculation pump. Owner came out to troubleshoot and figure out what needed to be done for a permanent fix. Two days later another Technician arrived on time, knew all the problems he was there to fix and did the work efficiently. He was about 30 years old and had been in the Navy. He sent pictures of final work. Overall great experience during a time when there is a labor shortage… August 2021.

I recently contacted Viva Electric to install an outdoor heater after a friend recommended their services. Jimmy was very polite and professional. He was very skilled and assessed the situation quickly and fixed my GFI outlet within an hour. I highly recommend Jimmy and Viva electric.

We had a 200A breaker failing. Viva looked twice, and said they would need to replace the breaker and the panel/enclosure. Plus we wanted them to label our two breaker panels, with a total proposed cost of $6000. Wanting to validate their findings, I called another electrician. He found that the connection lug in the breaker panel had come loose. He tightened the lug, close it up, charged us $95 for that repair, and then labelled all breakers as proposed by Viva charging only $300. Total cost $395 versus over $6,000 from Viva.They now say that they refunded our service fee, but I am concerned that they took a shot at doing way more than was required, either because they saw an opportunity, OR because they couldn't diagnose the problem correctly. Plus, they wanted to charge over $1200 to label the breakers that literally took about 2 hours by the other electrician.

This would have pushed back my family's trip to the NC Mtns to sky by several hours.I did a Google search for Charlotte, NC area electricians, gave Viva Electric a call and they dispatched a tech immediately. 30 mins later, Tommy from Viva Electric arrived at my rental to diagnosis the electrical issue.Tommy was patient as I explained in layman terms the electrical issue. Tommy went through Viva's routine diagnostic check and accurately pinpointed the issue. In 45 mins time, Hot Water was restored to my rental unit and 30 mins later, I and my family were on our way to the NC Mtns for some skiing!

A house rewiring project was abandoned by the previous contractor and there were several defects that needed to be resolved to pass code inspection. I was pleased with the service but given the cost of parts ( a 15 Amp light switch and a standard single pole 15 Amp breaker) and the time spent replacing these (about 15 minutes) I believe the cost ($283.89) was excessive.

This is by far the best electrical company I have worked with in the 90+ renovation projects that I have done. Their communication from the start of a job to the final (and even after if you need them) is superb. All work that has been performed (by very professional, polite and respectful workers) has been A+ all the way. I highly recommended this company.
