400 dollars for a capacitor change? I bought one on Amazon for 25 Dollars. There is no way anyone should be charging 400 dollars for someone to come out on a weekday to change a capacitor. I did it to practice and was able to do it. Pricing should be reasonable for people in these times. this is ridiculous- responding to owner's response:Having this response from the owner doesn't really reflect the truth. No way did I want to get this maintenance service but someone convinced my wife of getting a monthly fee service for something that will probably not be used for another couple of years. Additionally, I didn't want to cancel based on getting a discount on the service. I wanted no service but was never called about the diagnosis but instead decided to convince my wife of the maintenance service in addition to the capacitor change service. I would gladly pay back the $40 dollars to the ticket back since you think I was trying to do something shady with pricing. Secondly, the pricing as you mentioned is 375 for a part that cost me 30 dollars at most on Amazon. Having youtubed the most common problem with ACs is where I diagnosed my problem. There is no way that service was worth 345 dollars - for a 30 minute service to basically fix something I diagnosed? Not worth this kind of a hassle from a company. It's gouging, in my opinion. If it was 150 dollars I could totally understand the cost (I would even pay for the gas that was used to get to my house additional to that) but not over $400 without the maintenance discount. Finally, this is a customer's response to the deceptive service he got so there shouldn't be a justification to defend the rating. Don't you have plenty of customers to say that you guys are good? If NOT, maybe there is a bigger systemic reason.

I had a water leak in my front yard. It was where the water meter connected to the pipe leading into the house. I called Parker and sons and had an appointment for the following day. My technician arrived on time. His name was Garrod Randall and he was fantastic. The repair was not inexpensive however it was fixed in a timely fashion. Thanks Parker and sons.

Firstly, I called three different places on two separate days and Handyman Connections answered both times. The scheduler over the phone was pleasant, but my review is really for John, the Handyman. He showed up on time, communicated professionally, let me know when he was done and suggested other things that would be helpful for me. Scott was great. I attempted to wire a smart thermostat myself and blew my units transformer in the process. He was able to get out the same day I called and replace the transformer. He also recommended that I replace some old wiring connecting the unit to the thermostat because I was experiencing power lose at the thermostat. I did just that and BOOM, everything powered up as it should. Great experience, thank you Scott!

I used ATR to remove an old island in the kitchen and install a bigger one in a different location in the kitchen with electrical. The job was done professionally and it was clear they knew what they were doing from initial contact.
