We used Handyman Connection to install a large multi-pane sliding glass door. We’d experienced a lot of delay and run-around with other contractors and the project had been left incomplete for months. The moment I met with Greg H. I felt reassured. I’m picky but he seemed more picky than I was. Greg was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He delivered quality service, excellent craftsmanship, and a reasonable price. I’d highly recommend Handyman Connection and especially Greg H.

Recently bought a house with a porch post that was heavily damaged due to termites and water over the years, which caused my roof to lean.

Called Handyman Connection and Patrick came out and was very friendly and no nonsense, and got me an estimate by the end of the day. He fixed it the following week and did an amazing job! Thanks Patrick!

Greg of Handyman Connections replaced our small garage side door with a standard sized one.
To do so, he had to remove the studs around the old door to make room for the larger one.
He had to purchase a suitable door and then installed it. It took him longer than expected but the job was perfectly done.
When there was a minor problem, he returned right away and corrected it.

We would highly recommend this company. They can do the job right.

We've used Handyman Connection many times before the pandemic. They were very professional and the price was comparable to other licensed handyman around the valley.
A month ago we asked for a quote for solar string lights, ceiling light and cabinet installation. It came at around $1150 since the cabinet requires 2 men to lift it. Another handyman (albeit unlicensed) quoted us at $200, came and finished the job in less than 2 hours.
I can't imagine how a 1.5 hr job could cost $1150, even if it requires 2 men. That's more than $250 per hour per man.
My advice is to double check the quote these guys give you. There is some price-gauging going on.

Handyman Connection did some electrical work for me. Removed an old fan and installed a new one and replaced a broken light switch. He was on-time, work was completed, very happy with how quickly and professionally the job was done. Will definitely use them again for any repair work needed!

Our experience with Handyman Connection was outstanding. Jonathan was professional and capable. We had several jobs for him and he approached each one with a positive attitude. We have a few more needs coming up, and we will be calling them again.

I would not recommend this business. The owner had over 2 weeks to reply to my email and did not reply.
This business charges you for materials which I knew and is supposed to leave the excess with you but conveniently it was forgotten to leave all of the excess material they charged for. I had work done on 2 doors yet one of the doors is still not closing properly and I was advised that was the best they could do. It was never mentioned before work started that the door might be a challenge and still might not close properly.

Ron showed up on time, was very professional and polite. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the needed repairs. Ron and Handyman Connection have definitely been added to my telephone favorites for the next time I need good quality professional service.

Mark transformed my 1990’s dingy, dated-looking kitchen to a bright, beautiful functional space. He has extensive experience in kitchen renovation and it really shows! He also made suggestions such as better, more energy-efficient lighting, a person to install my countertop and sink, etc. that just added to the beauty of the space.
He’s extremely efficient, on time, and left the space clean and functional before he left each day.
I’ve used HC for years for smaller jobs but never for anything this extensive and it certainly won’t be the last! Cannot say enough positive things about my experience!

Love my new shower. 49 year old shower demo'd down to the studs - a complete remodel. All contractors were excellent - the tile crew Daniel and Rick, the plumber Tim, and Jonathan the shower doors installer - leak-proof! The owner-Allen and office staffs Shelly and Lana were all great to work with and ensured complete satisfaction. Love taking a shower now, recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say. I had an old dishwasher hardwired in and I wanted an outlet. Not only did Able install an outlet, he put the power cord on my new dishwasher for me. He also fixed my closet light. It didn't take him long at all and I'm so happy!!

We were looking to get our sliding door replaced and we could not be happier with calling HandyMan Connections! Greg and the gentleman who helped him, ( Can't remember his name ) they were friendly, communicated with us on the project and were very clean in their work. We have been so happy with the turn out, we are looking to have our front door replaced with Handyman Connections!

Waited weeks for appointment to replace slats on 6' gate. Greg shows up late with no materials to do the work. Proceeds to go find materials and returns with nothing. Does nothing. Total waste of time!

Met with Ron today. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He came to do one job and was able to fix two other jobs that I needed to be done. He allowed my teenage son to watch some of his work and ask a bunch of questions which I thought was really kind of him. I utilized the services of Handyman connection on two occasions and was very pleased with the service and work i received. David DePaul did a great job for me. He is professional, timely, thoughtful, insightful and knowledgeable about the work he does and willing to make suggestions and recommendations regarding the work he is doing while he is doing it. I really appreciated all the work he did including replacing a ceiling fan, centering my dining room chandelier, installing dimmer switches, replacing my bathroom shower head and assembling/hanging an outdoor wall water fountain in my back yard. I had a whole wall of mirrors that I wanted taken off and I knew that I'd need drywall repair. Marshall did a great job doing that task. I also had minor repairs that needed to be done for some roof leaks and he did a nice job with that. I have another appt scheduled to meet with a different handyman with expertise elsewhere and I'm looking forward to another job well done. Very friendly company to work with.

I contacted Handyman Connection to fix some drywall that a contractor had been giving me the run around on. I called on a Monday and by Friday the job was complete. Marshall, the drywall installer, did a fantastic job and the drywall looks almost good as new!

I've used Handyman Connections to update some of the lights in my house. Their handyman, Tony was amazing. He was on time, kind, and most importantly, an expert who did a great job at switching out lighting. If you have electrical needs, I highly recommend this company and Tony!

I bought my first house this last year and know nothing about home repairs. When I needed a new front door, Handyman Connection helped me determine the right measurements and what I needed to order, and then rebuilt the frame so I'd no longer have massive gaps that were allowing in dust and heat/cold. The result is so lovely, the technician knowledgeable and friendly, and I know the new door has improved the value of my home.

Ron S did a great job on everything I needed done. He fixed where a half door was. Looks great! Drywall repair on ceiling where light fixture is, wall drywall repair, tub spout replacement and hung a big mirror. Love the work he did. He wore the surgical mask for Covid safety. Thanks Ron! He was on time. He was very nice and I felt good about the whole experience. My favorite was the bathroom drawer that closes flush now!

I had my fair share of handyman experiences, not the greatest, until I was lucky enough to meet Wiley Jones. He is by far the most honest, capable, reliable handyman I ever hired. He has been consistently helping me to fix different items in my house for the last 3 years. Not once I had a less than superb work and professionalism coming from him. I recommend him without any hesitation. Honest, reliable, knowledgeable.

Greg was a fantastic person. This was our first ever remodeling project and having someone like Greg handling everything was such a relief. He was always on time and always working hard. Handyman Connection recently completed our master bathroom and kitchen remodel. They were recommended by a friend of ours after they remodeled her master bathroom. We are beyond impressed with their professionalism, reliability, and craftsmanship. Allen, the owner, met with us on numerous occasions before work even started. He was quick to respond to all of our questions, and guided us in the right direction. We received an estimated cost of the remodel upfront. As work started, we added additional items to the project. Steve was professional, friendly and very thorough. Appreciate him wearing a mask as well as offering to put on shoe coverings. The cabinet handles, sliding pantry shelf installation, garage cabinet removal and repair of exterior coach light were all performed extremely well. Our plan is, at a later date, to have your guys return to re-hang the garage cabinet that was removed and paint the interior garage walls. Our Handyman Mark C. did a wonderful job installing two exterior doors and a pet door. The result was above our expectations, AND he finished four hours ahead of schedule! Allen from Handyman Connection provided a very detailed estimates so I know the cost for each item and I could pick and choose to fit my budget. He also gave me some very good advice.

Todd and Ali were great!! As a homeowner, I always wonder if the contractors would treat my house as their own and put good effort to make my bathrooms look good. They did!!!! I have used Handyman Connection multiple times in the last few months. Every time the experience has been great. I have been able to get appointments quickly. Most jobs they can quote you and do the job the same day. Prices are reasonable, especially being mindful that you get what you pay for. A couple of times I tried different installation services with items I ordered online and ended up calling Handyman Connection to come fix the bad install. Likely you will find a tech at handyman connection you prefer - it is easy to request them on future appts/services. My favorite tech is Greg H. He's helped me with everything from installing lighting and outlets to repairing plumbing that another companies technician messed up. They have become my number one trusted expert for all those jobs I just don't want to DIY or need fixed in a pinch! I definitely recommend using Handyman Connection of Phoenix!

We reluctantly reached out to Handyman Connection when our home builder, Artisan Builders AZ also known as Win Big Development LLC, refused to fix issues for our home that were (lawyer verified) within our warranty after months of runaround. Although we were originally frustrated spending money in this scenario considering legal assistance would’ve superseded the actual cost of the work, we had a great experience. Greg, the project lead, did a fantastic job at communicating what the required fixes would be, the *freshly* sensitive topic of warranty that Handyman Connect would provide after their work, and what to expect through the 3 day project. When they arrived a few weeks later Zack and Josiah did a fantastic job with the required fixes, accommodating our home schedule for work, and ensuring we were content with the completed work. I am a first-time homeowner and having a general “handyman” available has been something I really wanted to feel comfortable, I feel much better knowing the scope of Handyman Connects portfolio as well as the quality of their service.

I've used this service for years. Our current craftsman, Ron Sparks, is someone on whom we can always rely to do quality work for the many projects that he's completed around our 47-year-old house. While many repairs and upgrades are still needed, we're confident that Ron's expertise will resolve our issues in a timely and professional manner -- working with Ron and Handyman Connections' craftsmen has eliminated a lot of stress that we've experienced with other companies. I requested the installation of a skylight shade from Angi. The skylight isn't more than 8-9' off the ground . I ordered the 24x24 custom shade from Amazon and it's still new in the box. After sending them pics of the skylight, the quote I received was $245. That's more than $110 an hour because I can't imagine the job will take 2 hours to install. Needless to say I won't be using Handyman Connection and I've alerted Angi of this exorbitant quote.

This is the second time I've used Handyman Connection for a major renovation project, plus we've had them do a few odd jobs over the years. All of our experiences with them have been great. This time we had tile laid in two bathrooms, an old shower pulled out and a new one built in it's place, plus some toilets replaced. The handyman, Todd, was very friendly and professional, and he did a great job. Allen kept in touch every step of the way and made sure things got done right. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, as is expected whenever you do a major renovation, but Todd made the right suggestions and everything got sorted out quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended Handyman Connection. In fact, they're in the process of doing some more work for us right now.

We needed help and needed it fast! We were having a pool installed and found out at the last minute that our doors were ‘backwards’ and wouldn’t pass inspection (we thought we had covered all the bases!). We called Handyman Connection and asked if they could help. The receptionist was friendly and found a way to get a service technician to our house right away to help us decide what we could do. The technician who came was courteous and prompt, his ideas were fantastic and the price he quoted was excellent. The office made his schedule work so that he could come and do the work before the inspector would arrive. He worked so hard and was so professional. The workmanship was first rate and the job looked great when he was done. We passed our inspection with flying colors and our pool is now complete. Thanks to Handyman Connection, I went from panic to relief in a matter of hours! We will definitely call Handyman Connection again.

I got referred to Handyman Connection through my partner whose parents had used them for a bathroom remodel years ago. We collected a couple of estimates but decided to go with HC because of their competitive quote and their history of doing quality work.

I haven't done a home renovation project before but the first phase was a renovation of the master bathroom. Allen was great with communicating and after a visit to see the potential project he was able to give me a quote which he stuck to.

It took some time to gather all of the materials, but once that was set it didn't take long to schedule the start of work. Mark was the main person in charge of the remodel and he was very friendly, showed up on time every day at 7AM, and did high quality work. There were a couple of things that needed to be adjusted along the way but he made it easy to bring it up and address. He was also good with communicating with us about timelines which was helpful as we coordinated with city permit inspectors as work was completed. In the end we were extremely happy with the finished product.

Because of the great work that they did on the bathroom, we decided to have HC do the flooring and baseboards in the majority of the house. We're also quite pleased with the finished product there too and again there were no surprise costs compared to the original estimate.

I won't hesitate to recommend HC to anyone interested in a renovation and I'll certainly be coming back in the future for projects of my own.

The handyman replaced an existing light switch in the kitchen. The charge: $200 which I think was a sour grapes fee for not agreeing to have him install an In-wall power kit for $350 for both tasks. The handyman used my new light switch to replace the broken one - it took approx. 5 minutes total to complete the job. I was a repeat customer but no more - enjoy that $200 - you won't be back. What a rip-off!

Dave from HC was literally the best handyman I've ever used! He was VERY professional, reasonably priced, and did an amazing job! He installed cabinet hardware for me, 2 faucets and fixed several drywall patches for me. Very impressed and will use HC and Dave again for all of my future projects!

I reached out to Handyman connection and the following day I had an email from Lana Rogers requesting more information about the cover I wanted built over my pool equipment. I sent that to her right away and never heard another thing. I sent another email suggesting that they were too busy to handle my request and still never received an email back. I was highly disappointed as I look and trust reviews about a business. This one didn't work out for me.

We had Gary out to our office to do some various small jobs. One was installing a new kitchen faucet in our breakroom. After he left, there were issues with the faucet so we thought. He came back to our office and replaced the faucet at no charge. It wasn't the faucet issue at all. It was a problem with the hot water heater and the pressure to the faucet. Gary went above and beyond working hard to fix this issue. He is very nice, and I will definitely ask for him when I request Handyman Connection again. I highly recommend their service. They are professional and fair! Thanks for the hard work Gary!

I have had this company do complete remodels on my kitchen and two bathrooms. They did a fabulous job and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were meticulous and paid attention to every detail. My master bathroom was taken down to the studs and completely redone. They had great suggestions and ideas but weren't pushy. I have also had them do minor work like replacing my kitchen faucet and disposal. I have never had any problems with this company... I checked them out on Angie's list and they looked like the best service around Phoenix.

I have also had them out to my employer's medical office several times. Always on time, did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. They have repaired cabinets and counters, hung our flat screen TV's in the lobby and worked with our management company (who can be very picky). Their prices were fair and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Tony replaced four interior doors for us that a previous contractor had done a terrible job installing. Tony was on time and did an excellent job on installing the doors, despite some product flaws he encountered during installation. Our doors look fantastic!

I needed someone to construct a small outside bird cage for my back yard. So I contacted Handyman Connection to see if they would consider taking on a small project like mine. They accepted the job and a few days later Ken came over and worked with me to design and construct exactly what I wanted. Ken was courteous, great to work with and an excellent craftsman. I couldn't be happier with the job he completed for me and I would definitely use this company again.

I had 2 exterior doors replaced by David at Handyman Connection. I special ordered the doors from Lowe's. They were the wrong size (Lowe's fault), but David was a true craftsman and made them work. He was very professional, and cleaned up completely before he left. It was a positive experience and the install looks great.

The worker did a great job on replacing 3 broken tiles. He took his time to make sure that the work was done correctly and to make sure that no additional tiles were damaged. Highly recommend handyman connection for anyone’s handyman needs.

I am extremely pleased with the services the Handyman Connection provided. Lew did some electrical work, added a locking latch to my attic scuttle hole, and did some minor roof work. He used creative problem solving techniques to get the job done and in a timely manner. What really comforted me was he has a tremendous amount of experience in the home building field, due to his own contractor business that he works during the regular year. He was professional and friendly and I definitely will call Handyman Connection again and highly recommend Lew.

Check their website for any coupons/promotions they're offering and apply to the service before your handyman leaves the premises. They'll honor it.

Tony from Handyman Connections is just such a great guy. He is really personable, showed up right on time, was a thorough professional and was in and out in 10 min after fixing a shower head that wasn’t working properly for over a year. I highly recommend him and this service. 10/10

Used the Handyman Connection today for the first time. Our handyman was Rob who was excellent. He was professional, showed up early, finished the job under budget and in less time than he originally said it would take. I mean really? He must not have received the contractor hand book (show up late, under bid and under deliver while being rude). Couldn't be happier and we will be requesting Rob in the future.

Our job was a simple drywall patch but it covered a large area and he managed to match the existing texture perfectly.

I had a front entrance door that was rubbing against the door frame. The craftsman that came out was very friendly and said that he would replace a screw in the top hinge . He first tried a screw that would not go flush against the hinge. He then got two screws from his truck. He then took out another screw from the hinge and replaced two screws . These screws where both different in sizes the longer was close to 2” the other about an inch. It didn’t do much good and he recommended placing another screw into the jam on the latch side . I declined to let him do that. Based on what I observed when he started tightening my screw hinges. He was using a drill and not a screw driver. When I questioned him on this he replied that it would not strip out the screws . After he left I checked the screws he replaced and they are all stripped. They will not tighten at all. The screws had no issues before this and they all would tighten. Now I have stripped out screws and my door is still now adjusted correctly.

In response to the reply from this contractor: The reason there wasn’t a charge is because I had called to have you come out a couple of weeks ago and nobody showed up or called. So when I called the office they told me that the manager had failed to put me on the schedule in the computer. So no it wasn’t a courtesy.

When we spoke yesterday you said you could send Jay back out but on one else due to my vicinity. You also stated there would be a charge . I will be moving forward with a complaint to the BBB and the registrar of contractors . I had a reputable door company come out today and confirmed that the screws to the door hinges have become stripped out due to your service tech that came out yesterday.

I was very satisfied with Handymann Connection. My handyman built extra storage under our stairs. He was very professional, on time and went the extra mile to thoroughly explain what our options were. It took three days to complete the job and each time he cleaned the area and in the end we were very satisfied with our extra storage. I would recommend Handyman connection to my family and friends.

Ross arrived on time. He did some troubleshooting of the light panel recessed over the bathroom sink. He replaced the lighting panel which had a faulty ballast. He also installed a new door to the back yard. He was very easy to work with. We picked out the light fixture at Home Depot. He then installed it. Then Ross installed the new door and lock set. All of his work was top notch. I am pleased that I called Phoenix Handyman Connection.

I called the office and was pleasantly guided towards providing value. The staff provided an appointment for Tony to come out and visit our home. He was prompt, prepared, and literally ready to do the work on the spot. We scheduled out for a few days since we needed to be prepared to have the water turned off for him to do the work.

He came back though, completed the work better than my expectation, and the job is never a penny more than the quoted bid. You aren't paying for a guy to sit around and milk you for time and run the bill up. If it's $300, that's it. 1 hour or 3 hours, you are locked in which is a nice change from the guess work that can happen on vague project timelines.

Handyman arrived earlier than anticipated (which was great!), finished the job promptly and it looks fantastic (installed a deadbolt in our solid wood front door that previously did not have a deadbolt hole. I appreciate their expediency while doing solid work!

I used them to renovate 2 small bathrooms after a mold removal was done. I was in contact with Ali and George. I doubt I will use them again and won’t refer anyone to them.
I thought it was a lot of money to pay since one of the bathrooms wasn’t a full renovation but I needed it done and didn’t have time to shop around. The work was ok, but the communication was awful. The first incident was when I went to the house, it didn’t look like anything had been done after 3 days. I finally reached out to Ali who explained the situation. I then told him that he needs to keep customers updated. After they “finished” the job, I went over to the house to find the shower doors hadn’t been put back on the walk in shower. I texted both Ali and George. After receiving no response, I called Ali and he stated that the shower doors didn’t fit and that they didn’t know I wanted them back on and that wasn’t included in the contract. He also said that would be extra. I had texted George and told him earlier but received no response from him.
Apparently, they also don’t know how to measure because I now have a lot of extra drywall that I have to pay them for and I doubt I will ever use.
I am definitely not happy with the experience.

Rick was great to work with. He showed up every day and on time. Finished the job in the number of days he said he would. Plus he also did a great job repairing our broken down outdoor BBQ island. I will definitely use Handyman Connection again.

Today, Lew came to do plumbing work and a little on dry wall. He was organized, on-time, and did a great job. We've used Handyman Connection many times in the past and always have had a good experience with this organization!

Had a pipe break on an outdoor faucet in a very difficult place. Our handyman worked very diligently and patiently to get it done right. While there he spotted that our side gate was balky---he fixed it in a couple of minutes w/o a charge. Very friendly, fair pricing and great work. Exactly what I was looking for.

I used Handyman Connection to install a keyboard tray in my office desk. They showed up right on time and did the work quickly and I was pleased with the results. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricey for the job done, but the speedy service justified the cost a little bit. I called on Thursday, and my keyboard tray was installed Friday morning. I would use Handyman Connection again, but probably for a bigger job to get more bang for my buck.

I needed a handyman to repair grout, baseboards, and minor cabinet damage for an insurance claim. All repairs were done efficiently to my satisfaction. I didn't have the material to repair the built in cabinet and the handyman came up with a better idea, got the material and did the repair beyond my previous expectation. I would definately recomment this company.

Prompt service, stuck to quote, did a professional job, showed up right on time. The job was tricky due to the fact the door frame was not square, so gaps in the frame. Rob took the time to trim it up (trip to Home Depot) and make it look good once it was adjusted. He kept me informed every step of the way. Nice clean job

charged $245 to install 2x 16 floating shelves. This was after i had already paid $1100 for one job, $2500 for another job, $815 for another job..... i was told that they didn't need me anymore when i questioned why it was so expensive to install 2 simple shelves.... plus they showed up late to my appointment. Used this company to do some drywall work in an occupied rental property. The work was done quickly and the tenant was very satisfied with the professionalism, cleanup, and final product. All that and the price was very reasonable.

One of your trucks just jumped out in front of me on Bell Road and almost caused an accident. It’s raining heavily right now and I almost slid into the back of him. He edged out slowly saw me coming and then just cut me off. Remind me never to use this service.

We needed a door on the side of our garage replaced and Greg from Handyman Connection performed the work which was outstanding. He was on time, cleaned up after himself and the quality workmanship was apparent. We have used Handyman Connection several times and would recommend them to anyone.

EDIT TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: The owner, Allen, called me today and we spoke about my review. He was extremely apologetic and VERY professional. It really impressed me. He explained that Alex was in the process of being trained.

I am rating this business so the owner can possibly fix a situation that is fixable. Alex from their booking team is not very good. They are a little slow to respond and they are not very good at relaying data to the manager that makes the quote. I sent in information for some doors I need installed along with pictures and links to the actual products. The scheduler obviously did not send the links to the manager because the manager came back saying they couldn't install the door because I used the term Iron door. I understand that I used the wrong terminology but if the manager had been given the links to the items that I had purchased he would have seen that I should have said security door. Also, Alex asked about the other door but again it was obvious he didn't share with the manager because the question would have been answered just by looking at the link.
If you want to use them hope that you don't get Alex as the booking agent.

Handyman Connection repaired an exterior wooden post that had some termite damage. The post looked great afterwards! They also repaired a screen door that was troublesome to use and now works beautifully.

He showed up on time, communicated professionally, let me know when he was done and suggested other things that would be helpful for me.
