Best Generator Installation in Jacksonville FL

Just this week we called American Electrical to our house for an issue that could have resulted in a house fire. They fit us into their schedule on a Friday afternoon. Daniel R. and Levi M. responded to the call and worked tirelessly to resolve the issue. They were extremely nice and courteous, they listened, and used their experience to solve a rather complicated issue. We have used American Electrical for the past 20 years in our 97-year old home. We trust them. They do great work at a reasonable price. We highly recommend them!

Very bad experience! Disorganized bunch! Made an appointment with me rather fast; so I canceled my trip and rushed across town to meet the estimator Bryce.....appointment was at 11:30, I waited until 11:46 to call the office and nobody knew anything??? I was told I'd get a call back, I waited onsite until 12:05, finally giving up in disgust. Later on a lady from the office called and left a message that he wouldn't be able to come; that he was on his way to Orange Park. Seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Very disorganized company.

I had a new 240v electrical outlet installed and it costed ~$1100 for 30 minutes of work! The tech used a 60 amps breaker for a 50 amps circuit! Tech also tried to use scare tactics and upsell $500 surge protection for the breaker panel. This company will give you a ridiculously expensive quote and charge you $59 if you don't hire them for the job.Edit: called the company about the breaker issue and they came back to fix it the next day. Still would recommend getting quotes from other companies

We hired Thompson Electric twice for electrical problems. Tim was our Electrician and he was great! Tim was polite, professional and was very knowledgeable about my electric problems. After calling a couple of Electrican companies for 3 items needing repaired - Power and Control - was the most honest and responsive to our inquiries and showed up on time to both the proposal and actual day of work. We needed GFI plugs replaced around entire home, new front porch light installed and new doorbell ringer kit installed. The two technicians arrived on time and had mask on the entire time while completing the invoice. They went above and beyond to make sure they cleaned up behind themselves and took all packaging garbage with them when they were finished.
