Best Custom Home Remodeling in Phoenix AZ

Before we needed our remodel we got bids from several different companies and decided to stick with well known companies and were a little leery of using a handyman type person to do the complete remodel of 2 of our bathrooms in our house. We got a very prominent company that always advertises on KTAR and we know that they did good work. The sent out a design person and came up with great ideas, right up until the quote.. We told them our budget to start with but there quote was about $15K higher than what we wanted, which irritated me to no end. We asked them what we needed to do to get it back in budget and everything went from high-end to super low-end and turned out to be nothing of what we wanted. This was not what we wanted!! I decided to look elsewhere , I picked up my cell phone and found Allure and looked at the pictures of work that he had done and liked what I saw. I called the number and talked to John (Houser) about giving us a bid. He came out to the house and I told him what I wanted to have done and told him of the other company that gave us a bid. I simply asked John what he could do that would keep us in our budget. He looked at it and simply said everything. I was in shock at first, and then I was really angry at the other firm and felt like they were really going to try advantage of me. In retrospect, dealing with Allure was one of the greatest decisions we ever made. John turned out to be a hands-on owner and monitored all aspects
of the remodel. The crew always kept us informed, always showed up on time and offered suggestions along the way that really made the experience so enjoyable. If you are thinking of a remodel, give John a call and I am positive that you will never regret it. It's been over a year since the bathrooms have been completed and my wife still comes out after her bath (in our nice new jetted tub) and says how much she just loves what Allure has done, and I love the fact that he kept his word, stayed on budget and everything was very professional from top-to-bottom. Excellent experience from the in-home consultation to the install. We were especially pleased that our materials came in early and the work was done three weeks ahead of schedule. Our new bath/shower is beautiful. Our installers Ryan and Harlod were on time, focused, neat, and thorough.

Steve and his crew did an excellent job on 3 bathroom remodels for us. All 3 turned out better than we could have expected. Excellent workmanship, fast and on time. Anything extra was communicated to us clearly and was definitely needed (replacement of rotted underflooring or more tile to raise the height in a shower). I would definitely use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Had tub replaced to a shower. Did in 1 day and left everything spotless. Leah (lead), John and Darius did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Our recent shower installation by Rebath was not the same excellent experience as our previous one, 1 year ago.
A couple of months ago, Rebath removed an old jet tub and old shower then installed a new custom, walk-in shower with bench in our master bathroom. They told us it would take 3 days. It took 6 days. Plus, another week because they dropped one of our glass doors during installation and had to order another one. Plus, we had to get them back out 2 more times for a leak in the wall and a shower head that would not stop running. I do give Dale kudos for coming out and fixing everything right and as quickly as he could. We had absolutely not one problem with our first Rebath shower installation, and it took 2.5 days to complete.

Had a tub to shower conversion done. Kevin worked with me to make the conversion affordable. My installer Kyle was amazing! On time, kept in touch and did an awesome job!

Sunset Tile did a terrific job on our kitchen and bathrooms remodel. Mark was great to work with through the design phase, and he had some great suggestions to improve the functionality of our kitchen. Paul and his crew were very professional and always left our house very clean each day throughout the remodel process. They were highly recommended by a couple of friends that had used them , and we are completely happy with the work they did for us. The team that performed work in our home was outstanding. The attention to detail, courtesy, and overall result was over the top, they went above and beyond. From the estimator Mimi to supervisor Loius and all others were all very professional and accommodating to the customers request. Without hesitation I would recommend this company and this team for all of your work. We will use them again for our next project.

Spoke with Ross on the phone to put in tile Shower and tile bathroom floor. He threw out numbers of $6000 or more for services without even coming to view the area and measure, or bother to find out what kind of tiled shower design we were interested in, offered his thoughts on designs but never asked us what we wanted. Set appt for next morning but didn't have the decency to call and cancel as any decent company would have, sent an email 1.5 hours before appt. crappy customer service. This was an appt for a quote and i guess they did not need our business. Not a company I will work with! The phone conversation was very strange, hem hawing around. If he didn't want our business he should have been honest and up front. If I could have given zero stars that would be my rating.

There were many things that went wrong with our remodel, but I'll keep it rather short.

1. We had two project managers. One got fired. The other was intoxicated on nearly every occasion that we spoke to him. He would angrily call us up on weekends and interrogate us about when the contractors left our house. On another occasion, he claimed that he was probably drunk when he took our call at 3:30pm on a Thursday. So drunk that he didn't remember it. He accused us of lying until he looked at his phone receipts. Our sink detached from our counter about 4 months after completion and after several no-shows, I confronted him about it. He hung up on me.

2. We received a design for our kitchen and we only asked for two things specialized cabinets: a cubby cabinet and a spice rack pull-out. Both cabinets were forgotten about. The spice rack was added after completion. The cubby stayed the way it was because the project manager told us there was nothing they could do now and it would require the tear down of the backsplash. We should have pushed back on this, but we didn't. Our design, in total, was missing the two specialty cabinets we asked for as well as additional cabinets that could not be added due to a lack of space.

3. At some point during the re-install, our dishwasher was damaged. It was placed back in and leaked ever since. Now our new cabinets are removed due to the water damage. Maxum sent a contractor to come look at the damage. He said that Maxum would get back to me. That was a week ago and I'm tired of waiting for them to do the right thing as we have always been patient.

Do yourself a favor and look at their ROC cases (ROC 202770). Two cases have led to discipline or resolution and meanwhile there are two pending cases. Please avoid this company.

I currently work for Ben and finally found an employer that isn’t afraid or to good to bust his butt day in day out on the whole project with his employees! He is very meticulous, knowledgeable, and extremely accurate in all of his projects. He is the definition of a caring boss and professional businessman!... Can’t wait to see how many more families dream homes we make come to life!

They did a fantastic job on my kitchen. This was a difficult job but they result is fantastic. I would recommend them to everyone.
