Best Free Design Consultation in Phoenix AZ

Before we needed our remodel we got bids from several different companies and decided to stick with well known companies and were a little leery of using a handyman type person to do the complete remodel of 2 of our bathrooms in our house. We got a very prominent company that always advertises on KTAR and we know that they did good work. The sent out a design person and came up with great ideas, right up until the quote.. We told them our budget to start with but there quote was about $15K higher than what we wanted, which irritated me to no end. We asked them what we needed to do to get it back in budget and everything went from high-end to super low-end and turned out to be nothing of what we wanted. This was not what we wanted!! I decided to look elsewhere , I picked up my cell phone and found Allure and looked at the pictures of work that he had done and liked what I saw. I called the number and talked to John (Houser) about giving us a bid. He came out to the house and I told him what I wanted to have done and told him of the other company that gave us a bid. I simply asked John what he could do that would keep us in our budget. He looked at it and simply said everything. I was in shock at first, and then I was really angry at the other firm and felt like they were really going to try advantage of me. In retrospect, dealing with Allure was one of the greatest decisions we ever made. John turned out to be a hands-on owner and monitored all aspects
of the remodel. The crew always kept us informed, always showed up on time and offered suggestions along the way that really made the experience so enjoyable. If you are thinking of a remodel, give John a call and I am positive that you will never regret it. It's been over a year since the bathrooms have been completed and my wife still comes out after her bath (in our nice new jetted tub) and says how much she just loves what Allure has done, and I love the fact that he kept his word, stayed on budget and everything was very professional from top-to-bottom. Old (1958) bathtub with original tile surround remodeled to a walk-in shower, plus removing old (1950's) toilet and installing a new one. Two day job with all demolition and removal day 1. Day two was the finish. Excellent work and cleanup by the 2 men. Kept me informed or in the loop as needed to ensure I liked the finished product. Love it!

We loved Phoenix Home remodeling. They gave us a three week estimate to completely redo our kitchen - from demo to rebuild. They had it completed in 1.5 weeks! They truly care about their work and their customers and it showed throughout the entire process.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

Job done in 3 days, and done right.

Very professional, courteous, and high quality work. I have an older home which comes with many challenges as standards and codes have changed over the years. The team were true problem solvers and were able to complete the job and meet or exceed my expectations on all counts.

We have had both our Kitchen and just now our Master Bath remodeled by Sunset, and are very happy with the results. We worked with Audra on both projects, and she did a great job designing spaces that were both beautiful and functional. We especially appreciate that their workmen showed up on time, and were respectful of our home. We may even have to move so that we can find a reason to do another project with them.?

We had our shower and tub removed and AZ bath masters remodeled the area into a beautiful walk in shower. It turned out awesome, Noah and Justin were the installers and they were wonderful, very respectful and courteous. Jim and Scotti were both very nice, our only complaint was that we had to keep calling to ask for dates or times of arrival instead of them communicating frequently with us, but when they said the workers would be there at a certain time they always were. I would recommend them for sure, the final product is awesome, absolutely love the tyvarian!!!!

Had our first appt with Rob. He knows what he's doing and is a fun guy. We are excited to get started!!

My husband and I hired Ben from Champion Remodel. Ben and his team gave us the quality we were hoping for. We are very pleased with the results. We hired him to re-do our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and all the flooring throughout the entire first floor. All of the finishes were purchased by us and Ben put the whole job together! The project was completed on time and within our budget. So far, we have gotten so many compliments from family and friends. We highly recommend Ben and his team. Thank you Ben!!

During my home remodeling it was a very pleasant surprise to work with Rise Above and Bret Buckner who remodeled my master bath. The process was relatively easy and they showed up on time! Their bid was very competitive (I obtained four), they did quality work, and they always seemed happy and helpful. The final result is spectacular.

Our son used PJH Construction for his master bathroom remodel, and referred us to them.

For us, it started with a master shower remodel in our 42 year old home. We were so pleased, we had them remodel our guest bath. Next was a complete kitchen remodel/install. Then a completely new floor (remove old flooring and install new floor) throughout the house and bathrooms, including all new painted baseboards, repairing drywall, etc. The interior of our home looks modern and fabulous.

The staff & crew were all very nice and hard workers, they all took pride in their work. Andrew helped us choose the things we needed and got us the best prices on new appliances. He also worked with us to accommodate our needs and our schedules during this time..... It was all well worth it.

I wish I could give no stars but I recommend doing your research before doing business with this company. Jeff is very unprofessional! This company lies about their services and what they are giving their customers. I highly recommend not using this company for your windows and if you do make sure your documents are done properly and you are able to clearly read what you are receiving before they start threaten you because they got caught in their lies.

I had a shower stall replacement. Jason and Sam were very professional and thorough. They answered all my questions and left my home very clean.

Erika and her team remodeled our house in north Scottsdale. She was always on time, offered design input when needed, and managed the project even while I was remote. Her team worked hard, finished in the proper timeline and were within the budget we discussed. What more could you ask for?!! Definitely would recommend and use again!

My husband, mother in law and myself absolutely love all of the features and the benefits of what this luxurious bathtub has to offer. I thank Lisa and Joe for their amazing customer service. Danny has skin cancer, mother in law is 82 and me after a long day at work, well we are all enjoying the jets. There is only one set back and I need a bigger water tank. I like my water hot. I only have a standard size tank.

Best Company we hired by far/ Highly competent and professional company were have ever hired. Mike provided constant oversight and communicated project status on a regular basic. We like the fact that this was a family owned business. The owners are so professional. We received calls from Judy asking how are project was going and always made sure we were happy. If there were any issues or if she could help with anything along the way. Their employees are top notch. Each one of them took care of our home like it was there own. clean and professional in every way. The workmanship and quality you wont find better any were.
