Initially got called out for problems going on with the thermostat. Turns out it was a small connection it wasn’t touching and a mounting problem. So simple, should anything arise again I want these folks to come out. Everything was awesome

They are prompt, very knowledgeable and present you with various options depending on the size of your home as well as your lifestyle. They file the rebate information for you and make the experience as seamless as possible...They had to crane the unit into my yard and did not disrupt the neighborhood at all....Great company and so clean that I never knew they were here........ I hate writing reviews but these guys earned more than just my business. I went through almost a dozen AC contractors and these guys won my business. I trust these guys to work on my AC system. I worked with Daniel H. mainly and as a part owner he’s very committed to doing the job correctly and with extreme quality. Their pricing on top of all that was very competitive. I’m an electrical engineer by day and I value data, reasoning and high quality. If it’s worth doing it’s worth doing right. Many if not all of the other companies I had over for estimates were box swapping salesmen. They were there mainly to sell you an overpriced unit and make their commission. Even for the estimate Daniel noticed a huge leak from the elbow to the old unit and sealed it up before doing his static pressure measurement. All the other contractors didn’t even mention or let alone care about it. This was like free work! Just shows how Preferred Air isn’t only there to do business but take care of their customers problems. They didn’t only sell me a very high quality American Standard unit but also did the job right. They added an extra return and supply in addition to converting my unit from an over under to a side by side. This allows the AC to have enough return and not overwork. The static pressure and other work performed was much better than average. I was with them through the entire process. I highly recommend them and found my new AC company.

Howard Air did what they committed to do, and did a top notch job. Out of 3 quotes, they were in the middle for new A/C and gas furnace. However, the scope of work was better defined, and we got a TRANE 4 ton unit. The other 2 companies were brands that I hadn't heard of. The 3 man crew showed up exactly on time, started working, and I don't think they stopped until they got done 7 hrs later. Nice clean setup, answered all my questions, briefed me on the new programmable thermostat. Cleaned up the debris. Never hurried, just very efficient, courteous, and seemed to enjoy what they do. They were great!
