I know Ralph from the new BNI group I joined. When our main shower stopped draining well I reached out to Ralph at APES explained the issue & that the shower drain had been grouted in by sloppy previous contractors. He coached me on a zero-invasive way with an expensive Home Depot product that I could see if I could clear the drain myself. When that didn’t work Ralph sent Zack the Plumbing Manager over to help. Zack was able to check at a deeper level without popping the drain cover off & found it was tree roots clogging the pipes.
Although we aren’t going to dig into this project quite yet as we may be renovating that side of the house relatively soon, we really appreciated their expertise, precision & care. Great guys & great company! We will be calling them when we are ready to dig up & reposition those 2 bathrooms for sure. Thanks team! ?

Charged me $318 for drain clean that took 30 minutes on one of my rental properties. Also drilled a hole in the metal drain and left jagged edges exposed. Took my credit card ahead of job and never called with a quote to fix. Just did the job and charged me. Was very unhappy with the service and very high price. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Update -- Aug 24, 2022. Last month, the softener shut-off valve sprang a leak. It was a bad one, appearing to spray strongly from the intake connection to that valve assembly. Luckily, the Hobaica after-hours tech Ian verbally walked me through disconnecting the system altogether until the unit could be troubleshooted. Our house no longer had soft water for about a month until a new part was sent by Rheem, the manufacturer. Hobaica at the time offered to replace the valve for the $69 house call when the part came in, which it finally did last week. Upon calling them, they no longer honored that offer. Luckily, a plumber friend came over yesterday and reinstalled the new part and the softener is working perfectly. He even discovered why the original failed: a simple O-ring had been poorly installed in the initial installation, pinched by the assembly, and ultimately failed catastrophically. I mentioned earlier that Hobaica is Phoenix’s most accountable plumbing + heating + AC company, but now I am changing my impression. While professional, they are always quoting prices that are 150% higher than the going rate, and I typically get 4-6 quotes. I previously mentioned Travis Vanau as one of the best professionals in plumbing, but I have now had a change of heart. Yes, sometimes you have to pay more for higher quality, but if the workmanship fails in the first year, what does that say about quality? I'm a loyal customer, having Hobaica install our new AC and heating system, and several other projects. Not once have they thanked me for the review I gave last year which resulted in 4000+ positive reviews. And now that I have had an issue with their work, and the challenge of getting it addressed, I'm reconsidering my positive review. Please be extra cautious in hiring this company.

I called one day, they came out and took care of everything. The guys were extremely nice and helpful. Adam R was on top of everything and he took care of my parents. I will be using them from now on. Love them ?

Freddy P. from the Patrick Riley AC company has been servicing my units and has always been knowledgeable and professional when entering my home. He has found problems with my units and has worked to correct the issues with favorable outcomes. For example: at one appointment he serviced above the usual by finding an ongoing problem, once he completed; my utilities have been reduced by $41. This is a substantial savings considering that an AC tech identified a problem and resolved it in one visit. I will always trust Freddy's advice to enhanced the efficiency of both AC units on my house!! Thank you Freddy!! Keep up the great work!
