Alien Air Conditioning and Heating recently installed a new AC unit at my condo and I'm extremely happy and 110% satisfied with the exceptional customer service provided throughout the process. Accessing the AC unit was not the easiest task, as the unit was located on the second floor with a very steep pitched roof and a parapet wall. The team were experts in performing the highest quality service given the challenges. They went above and beyond ensuring my smart thermostat was properly installed, replaced air filters with higher quality filters, and provided me with great preventative maintenance advice. I had to go through a few companies but these guys actually fixed my AC. Called, came, quoted a fair price. It was simple and straight forward. No games ... and that’s how I like it.

We had a power outage on 8/20/20 at 7:30 pm until 3:00 am. When the power returned, my mini split upstairs in my loft did not have air flow. I went on Preferred Air, just send a text/e-mail, not expecting a response. But, 3 seconds later received a couple of texts letting me know someone would be out the next day. Fernando came out early afternoon and fixed the issue. I am so grateful I had initially purchased my mini split ductless air conditioning unit from them in 2018. They are so easy to work with and knowledgeable about their products. Thank you Preferred Air.

I've been with Howard Air for years - including a new install - and couldn't recommend them more highly. When you have an outage, you get a bunch of recommendations I use (so and so) and my response each time was No, I've got Howard Air, nobody touches them.
Reasonable prices, for sure, but their service and professionalism are unrivaled at every touchpoint in the process.
In perhaps 10 years I've never had a bad interaction and every tech has been as good or better than the last. (Shout out to Art for yesterday)

Work was done to add insulation to attic, with concentration on void spots causing heating/cooling leakage, including a skylight which was not insulated in the attic. Also a heating duct was added to the laundry/extra bedroom to replace poorly performing heating/cooling to that room. Attic ducts and inside vents were also resealed. Installation was done in one day as scheduled. The cost was reasonable with an estimated less than 10 year payback.
The estimator and job manager were very friendly and personable and explained in detail the problems we had and the work to be done. Overall, we are very satisfied with the work and the results to date.

On the initial visit, the technician parked his vehicle at the opposite end of the house from the air conditioning unit. When I asked why he had not parked his vehicle adjacent to the AC, he told me that he needed to inspect my roof. He then proceeded to give me incorrect information regarding a warranty program in an effort to sell an upgraded policy. SMW had previously installed a new unit, which was under factory warranty. As they did not have the warranty part, they installed a “temporary motor. Although I requested an itemized statement to submit to my home warranty company, this information was never provided. I was contacted when the original part came into stock, and requested that the same technician not be assigned due to his rudeness. After taking the day off work, I was told that the part was not actually in stock when they went to retrieve it. Several weeks later, I received an email indicating that an appointment had been scheduled. I did not receive an advance call to confirm whether this would be convenient for me. The original technician arrived for the service, and again parked at the opposite end of the residence from the HVAC unit. After telling me that the work had been completed, he indicated that the office would contact me as I would be charged for the replacement motor. I indicated I should have been told this information in advance. I paid SMW $5241.21 for a new air conditioning unit in October of2020, and an additional $340 for the installation of the temporary unit as they did not have the manufacturers part in stock. For this expense, I would expect to receive better service!

We had two new air conditioning units intalled in 2020 by Scottsdale Air. We recently had a very thorough tuneup on the two units performed by Bonz, who was courteous, prompt, informative, and just an overall nice guy with a cool name! He recommended an air scrubber and installed it on the same tuneup call. We trust Scottsdale Air completely and appreicate the quality service we consistently receive.

Just had a customers air conditioning checked as it's not working after some remodeling work King HVAC came out and found was low on freon they charged cleaned and serviced, and gave us a very fair deal... customer is happy. I will definitely use these guys again and would recommend
