Nice people came right out when I called made it right

They tried to charge $550 to install a condenser fan motor and cap. I found the parts for $180 and installed with a friend in less than an hour. I don't have the tools or coolant to charge my AC, so I am glad to have that part of the service call.

Always had a good experience with Louie from George Brazil. He's efficient, does excellent work, and is friendly. I've been using George Brazil for a few years now and have never encountered a problem at any level. I definitely recommend them. LATE UPDATE: 3/14/23. My guy Louie left 2 years ago and told me he was going into the business for himself since he couldn't stomach their price gouging. Before that, I had to have a $1000 repair done on my unit and it made me wonder how much I was overcharged ?. I understand there's overhead, but I can't afford to overpay anymore.

They quoted me $1775 for a blower motor for my air conditioning unit. I thought that was too expensive so I started calling other companies with the part number that I needed. I found two different companies that would do it for a lot less. One for $750 and one for $650 (both 5 star rated companies on yelp). I told Larson air this over the phone and she said it was because they have a warranty on their part. I told her having a warranty on your part and labor for something that would take 1-2 hours to put in costs $1000. She didn't really want to talk to me anymore and gave me the serial # of my unit that I asked for. They told me over the phone when I first hired them but they have a great reputation and never try to rip anybody off that's why they charge an $80 service fee that they don't take out if you actually get your air conditioner fixed. So I decided to go with them because they have such great reviews on yelp. I will never use this company again they tried to rip me off. Find someone else.You are correct. I did need a specific blower for my unit. However when I looked up the specific blower motor up online it was only $250 for that motor that you're talking about ( i matched it with the specific blower motor part number that u gave me). So still that does not justify a $1500 labor charge for something that will take 1 hour to replace. You over charged me and maybe you should just accept the fact that you tried to get me for $1500 labor charge. Interestingly when you posted your reply you never mention how much does the specific motor blower that you wanted to put on actually cost you or me! You never mentioned how much labor you were going to charge to put that motor in. You just stated that I needed a specific blower motor. There was no price breakdown in your reply. Something fishy there.
