Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup (out of Norfolk, VA) did a great job today. Our situation: We rent an apartment, and it experienced a sewage backup around 2 AM. This was not just any night but New Year's Eve night. I was pleasantly surprised to be notified less than an hour later that a plumber would be arriving on January 1, 2023.Sure enough, they did!Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup (out of Norfolk, VA) arrived promptly and on schedule around 8 AM. Jonathan and Jeremy of Roto-Rooter were professional, knowledgeable, capable, courteous, and honest.The issue was resolved. They explained to me what happened, and what I should do next time. They also said they would contact my management company about other options to better understand what caused the initial sewage backup problem.I felt I was in capable hands, and I am grateful that they came out, especially so early on New Year's Day.Thank you, Jonathan and Jeremy!

Called Lance out to look at our Hot Water tank that I had concluded that it was going to have to be replaced....but Lance replaced a connection and had it fixed within 15min...pretty sure he just saved me the cost of replacing it....we have used Lance before and are completely satisfied with his abilities to solve plumbing problems....I recommend him without reservation.

Jimmy Lipke was our service manager through the process and everything was as smooth and professional as could be. They installed a gas range and tankless water heater for us, we couldn't be happier with the work. We got 3 other bids for the job, Bay Area's price was right in the middle, not too cheap not too expensive. We would absolutely call Bay Area first in the future!

If you need backflow certification this is the guy to call. Monte Raines is the owner and tester and he is a cool guy. He answers his business phone when you call...which is a big deal to me, and he gets right out and gets the job done at a good price.
