Best Water Tank Repair in Arlington TX

Thomas Dudley performed an inspection of our plumbing in our home and pointed out a few surprises. He was very knowledgeable and told us everything that could/should be addressed. He was also fun to talk with. His knowledge of the Arlington area was very helpful. Looking forward to working with him in the near future.

They just fixed a busted pipe in garage after winter apocalypse 2021. Very quick response in a crazy busy time, didn’t just patch it, but fixed root cause of a previous hack job, and charged a reasonable price in any circumstances. I found my new plumbing company!

I highly recommend this company. They were out the day after I called. The plumber was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The work was completed same day. Thank you for repairing my leak and installing a new hot water tank.

-resolution of two problems after calling them back out
-camera-ed my system at no charge after the error
-Carissa Stinson makes genuine efforts to hear my frustration
-warranty on work good for 12mos

Cons:
- felt like I didn’t get what I initially asked for in inspection of system BEFORE installing flooring, which will now cost me time and money
- didn’t perform quality inspection after work causing me to call them back out more than once
- didn’t perform thorough testing/inspection of gas line to fireplace before selling me new line
- didn’t provide me with requested materials for insurance and have no recorded notes of phone conversations requesting this info

Still, they have plenty of 5-star reviews. Sometimes relationships just don’t work out. Might have just been a bad time for them. You may have better luck, and they might make the necessary changes so that my experience does not get repeated. This is my hope for them as I desire small, local businesses to be successful. I had really high hopes about them based on the recommendation….it just didn’t work out for me.

Highly recommended by a trusted source…ultimately let me down.

After buying a house I had some time before move-in to get some necessary repairs and renovations done. LS Plumbing was highly recommended by a close friend. They came out as scheduled. Upfront pricing so no surprises. Pricing was high, but based on recommendation I assumed it would be good work, and I was tied up with other things. I asked for an inspection of total system, and let the tech know of a specific issue relayed to me by the seller. He diagnosed the first minor problem he saw and went no further. I asked “That’s all?” and the tech indicted “yes”. I felt confident in their “expertise” and moved forward with installing flooring throughout the house. After move-in we had a major backup and called them back out. They diagnosed a sewer line issue under my living room slab (and brand new floor). The tech’s response was “wish we had known about this a month ago”…..which did nothing to make me feel better about the new flooring having to be taken up at my own expense and the disruption for my family…which again, I wanted to identify and resolve BEFORE moving in. The rest of the work was poorly done and they made two more trips out to try and resolve….which could’ve been caught in the initial call had there been some quality control, or even a simple thorough inspection. I diagnosed on my own that they had installed a part backwards. This was also extremely frustrating as I am NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER, and they missed it TWICE before. The office manager (Mrs. Stinson) genuinely seemed to care about how their company let me down. However, there was very little accountability from Mr. Stinson beyond admitting that the work had been of poor quality.

I still have a sewer repair to complete, but I have vacillated between giving them another chance to do good work…and not giving them another penny.

Ultimately, they self-selected themselves out. I needed a quote and description of work to turn into my insurance agent for possible claim. After multiple requests (and assurances from them that they would provide) I gave up. I think they were hoping I would go away. And this review will live on the internet forever, which is a shame because nobody is perfect…and they had opportunities to get it right, but they didn’t want to.

Great company to work with, the schedulers are courteous and helpful and work with you to get it done. John who came out and did the repairs was professional, on time and did a great job. We call dial one for all our plumbing needs and wouldn’t consider using anyone else.

This company wanted to overcharge on a hot water heater replacement. We called our home warranty company, they contracted out with Black Tie. The rep that came out came up with $1300 in additional charges that we’d have to pay....all completely bogus. The amount of pressure that this guy applied for us to sign and give him the job was insane, all which is on video surveillance. One of the most ridiculous charges was $250 for a permit...which cost only $100. I would never do business with an organization like this. After having another plumbing company come out, we were only out an additional $400, not $1300!! Always get a second or third opinion when dealing with this company. Buyer beware!!

Michael Gentry is the only person we use to do our plumbing work. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, and pays attention to detail both to the work he performs and the homeowner's safety and wellness especially during these uncertain times by wearing a mask for the duration of his visit and will not step inside your house without shoe covers on! By far the best plumber we've ever used, work always done right the first time, a definite Gentleman and does QUALITY work!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I called the wrong number, I was trying to reach another plumbing company but clicked on the wrong listing. I'm glad I did! The gentleman that came out went above and beyond to we were happy to have him. We will not go back tot he other company we used to use. We never experienced such great customer service like this!

From the first phone call with the customer service team to the repeated check up calls keeping me in the loop and finally the service call, Lasiter and Lasiter is a truly professional and compassionate company. Craig and team (4 in total) that showed up to perform the fix were outstanding. I thought I had one pipe break and it turned out I had three. I was fixed up in under 2.5 hours. The service was outstanding, and I'm very satisfied with the fixes. I have a plumbing company for life. Thank you!!!! I just wish our power production and grid was as dependable in Texas.

Brian and Shawn were amazing! They took their time to make sure that the water heater and water softener were installed correctly and spent hours here in the Texas heat. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone for their plumbing needs

Excellent service. Plumber arrived on time. They observed covid protocols and wore feet coverings. We had them change the faucet in our 2nd bathroom. They explained the process and were up front about the cost. They hid nothing from us. Yes it cost a few hundred dollars but you pay for the licensed plumber. These aren't flyby night handyman who charge half the price and deliver half the work. Highly recommend these guys. Thanks.

Charged me; $300 didn't fix anything. Ended up needed a new water heater. I could have just saved the $300 and applied it to that. They just charged me the service trip. Lied and said they fixed it but didn't.
