Larry came out after Clearwater plumbing took our money multiple times and didn't correct any issues. Larry had us fixed within an hour and didn't try to throw in stuff we didn't need like the other guys. Thanks for taking good care of us!!

My sewer line was corroded and caused a major leak in my crawl space. They came out told me what they were going to do and the process of getting it completed all the way to inspection. I would definitely use them again.

These guys are great. Had an issue others tried to correct and kept having the same problems. They fixed it the first time out. The guys that did the work were friendly, professional and greatly concerned with keeping the work area and path to their equipment clean.

We initally agreed on fixing my washer that was backing up. 1400 later. ..and an what additional 1900 quote to fix another leak according to the tech. I tried scheduling them back. Thank God they never returned my call. I had the lines cleared bu another company that did it for $400. The competitor showed me the pipes. The grease buildup was never cleared by the $1900 i had to pay. Hope that was an honest mistake. Not hiring them again.

Corey and his Apprentice, Garrett, were very professional and clearly explained what they found, tested and repaired. They were on time and cleaned up afterwards. It is important to note, that Plumbers only fix the plumbing issue, they don’t put your wall back together. Any sheetrock repair/replacement is on the customer to take care of.

Hot Water Heater quit working. I wasn't sure which plumber to use looked up Good Contractor's List and picked Larry Stinson Plumbing. What a great experience. They came out - look at my Hot Water Heater. Gave me some options. Given the age of my hot water heater, I chose to replace it. Larry Stinson Plumbing brought a top of the line hot water heater, installed it and it passed City Inspection. The Inspector said they never have issues with hot water heaters installed by Larry Stinson Plumbing. If you are looking for a Plumber, I highly recommend Larry Stinson Plumbing. They do good work, they provide fair quotes which in my case was exactly what the cost was. They didn't charge a service fee on top of the installation. It was a great experience.

- felt like I didn’t get what I initially asked for in inspection of system BEFORE installing flooring, which will now cost me time and money
- didn’t perform quality inspection after work causing me to call them back out more than once
- didn’t perform thorough testing/inspection of gas line to fireplace before selling me new line
- didn’t provide me with requested materials for insurance and have no recorded notes of phone conversations requesting this info

Still, they have plenty of 5-star reviews. Sometimes relationships just don’t work out. Might have just been a bad time for them. You may have better luck, and they might make the necessary changes so that my experience does not get repeated. This is my hope for them as I desire small, local businesses to be successful. I had really high hopes about them based on the recommendation….it just didn’t work out for me.

Highly recommended by a trusted source…ultimately let me down.

After buying a house I had some time before move-in to get some necessary repairs and renovations done. LS Plumbing was highly recommended by a close friend. They came out as scheduled. Upfront pricing so no surprises. Pricing was high, but based on recommendation I assumed it would be good work, and I was tied up with other things. I asked for an inspection of total system, and let the tech know of a specific issue relayed to me by the seller. He diagnosed the first minor problem he saw and went no further. I asked “That’s all?” and the tech indicted “yes”. I felt confident in their “expertise” and moved forward with installing flooring throughout the house. After move-in we had a major backup and called them back out. They diagnosed a sewer line issue under my living room slab (and brand new floor). The tech’s response was “wish we had known about this a month ago”…..which did nothing to make me feel better about the new flooring having to be taken up at my own expense and the disruption for my family…which again, I wanted to identify and resolve BEFORE moving in. The rest of the work was poorly done and they made two more trips out to try and resolve….which could’ve been caught in the initial call had there been some quality control, or even a simple thorough inspection. I diagnosed on my own that they had installed a part backwards. This was also extremely frustrating as I am NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER, and they missed it TWICE before. The office manager (Mrs. Stinson) genuinely seemed to care about how their company let me down. However, there was very little accountability from Mr. Stinson beyond admitting that the work had been of poor quality.

I still have a sewer repair to complete, but I have vacillated between giving them another chance to do good work…and not giving them another penny.

Ultimately, they self-selected themselves out. I needed a quote and description of work to turn into my insurance agent for possible claim. After multiple requests (and assurances from them that they would provide) I gave up. I think they were hoping I would go away. And this review will live on the internet forever, which is a shame because nobody is perfect…and they had opportunities to get it right, but they didn’t want to.

Noticed our hot water Heater was leaking on Sunday night. I had previously used Ztinaon plumbing so I text Carissa at 11 PM the office manager and Larry wife. Sent over some pictures and she replied immediately. She asked if Larry could stop by in the mor ing on a holiday. Larry was very prompt and gave me a very fair price and the did the job same day.

2 gentlemen showed up to my house within an hour of calling today, 5/12/2020. They were called due to the washing machine drain being clogged. They tried to go through the drain itself, to no avail. Then went onto the roof to go through the vent pipe with a longer snake, 75 ft. And still could not clear it. They, then, got a pressure hose and were able to clear out the blockage that way. These are the perils of owning a 60+ year old house that likely was never serviced before we moved in. They were very professional, yet kept a friendly demeanor, a good balance. The cost was still under $300, less than most quotes, and no fee for a site visit, which no one else I spoke to offered. Overall, they were less expensive, and fixed my issue as quickly as they could, even cleaning up after themselves! I am extremely pleased, and would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

The master plumber that came to my residence was very efficient. Excellent communicator on the project. Had to remove mortar and brick to replace leaking outdoor water spigot. Did a really neat job. Brick fit right back in and just need to put some mortar back in. Thank you for your help!!

Snowmageddon2021 - The coldest temperatures we have experienced in Texas! We were without power for over 28 hours, temperatures hit 40* inside our house. One of our attic pipes 💥 burst. We called Larry Stinson Plumbing as they are family owned and operated. They were very responsive to our situation. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Larry, Carissa and their team have done work for us in the past helping with a clogged clean out line and when our water heater went out yesterday they were my first call. They were here the next day to provide a quote and not only replaced our water heater the same day but even installed a water shutoff valve at our water softener system to avoid future leaks.

They did a great job, and my family and I appreciate the quality of work they do!

Outside spigot was broke and leaking if used from a small crack. They came out next day and fixed the problem in under 20 minutes and since the problem was easier than expected they took $50 off of the original quote!

I called and within an hour or so Stinson plumbing had two very professional guys show up and work on a pair of clogged sinks until they were working like new again. They cleaned up the sinks and cabinets afterwards leaving no trace that there was ever a problem or repair. I'm super impressed with the car tracking to show where the techs were on their way, the video of the working sink, and the electronic documentation and emailed copies of everything. Very professional on every level.

Absolute amazing prompt service!

Our water heater was replaced earlier this year by LSP. Last week it stopped heating. I called LSP and they quickly ordered the part I needed. Unfortunately, parts are on backorder. My family is coming from CA for Christmas and I was panicked. They searched locally for the part, picked it up and installed it today! That is customer service! Thank you so much and call them if you need any plumbing help.

No one wants to have to call a plumber for rescue, but I am so happy that I found Larry Stinson Plumbing. They were friendly, helpful, and found a solution that fit well in our budget. We are fans for life!!

Per Larry Stinson, the company owner, he uses a computer program that charges the average regional prices for plumbing services. In my case, we just needed to replace a toilet flange in a very small bathroom that had been accidentally attached with silicon when the installer put in the tile floor. She forgot to remove the flange, so it had to be cut out and a new one installed to replace the toilet. Working up his written estimate took the technician, Bubba, almost an hour because he did it through this computer tablet. Then the actual job took less than an hour and was done well. The cost was $1283 for this one hour of work and the cost of the flange. So he charged $1200 for one hour of labor! I thought this way over-priced and it should have cost maybe $600 or so. When I told the technician, I thought the price was very high, the technician said I was trying to “Jew him down”. I thought this was completely unprofessional. Nicole, who installed the floor, was getting paid only $250 because floor is so small (5’x5’), so knowing she had to pay the bill, I asked for a lower price. If I was paying to fix this, I would have gotten much lower quotes as the job was not hard, just cutting out a 3” flange and putting in a 4” one. But Nicole didn’t want to wait, so she paid $1245, as he came down a little. So even though they came on time and the work was good, their pricing and lack of professionalism make me not want to use them again. Bubba also tried to tell me they only provide a 30-day warranty, but then Larry said it would be 1 year.

Their computer pricing program definitely must include data from much higher-priced regions/cities than this market. Please get other local quotes to compare before using Stinson!

P.S. I am editing this review because Larry stated in his response below that Nicole “left a 5-star review”. which is not true. She just told me she has not left any review and considers the matter closed.

Highly recommend! Cory came out to give me a quote to drop a new gas line for cooktop. He explained everything; sent over a clear and concise quote. Once we decide on the work we were quickly scheduled! Great communication throughout the process. Definitely my go to for plumbing services!

Cory did a great job, gave an honest quote that was way under a previous quote I received. Came back out the next day and did a great job. Saved the drywall cutout and gave me a heads up on any options throughout the process. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Can't say enough good things about this crew. Professional, courteous, and friendly. They replaced the entire waste system under our house and I could hear them singing and laughing while they worked. In the middle of a mess, they made me laugh, too. It was a big job but they made it bearable and for a very fair price. They even dealt with our 3 dogs barking the entire time. Will never use any other company.

I would like to thank Bubba and the booking receptionist. Both were amazing and communicated very clearly.

I had a single valve mixer-cartridge on my shower replaced within 40 minutes of Bubba taking a look at my leaking shower, I too suspected this is what was needed for repair but never having don’t the job myself, I wanted to watch the process.

It was straight forward for the most part. Bubba did mention as he provided me the estimate, ($340’ish), it could be a little more expensive if he was unable to get the nut washer that secures the valve to the shower body. As luck would have it, the nut was on there real good and had to be cut. This was a $60 fee to cut and replace the nut.

After a few minutes of sawing the old brass nut, and a quick pry the nut was loosed from the shower and old valve was removed.

He performed a quick clean on the inside of the existing valve body to remove old sediment. Once cleaned, inserted and pressed in the new valve in, reassembled shower handle components to valve. Added necessary thread treatment to new nut. Tested and worked.

Total Bill was ($402), seems a bit high.

It was not a plumbing emergency and I’m thankful it’s fixed, both agents I worked with were impeccable and great at communicating and customer service, but the price was a bit of a shocker!

Very happy with my experience with them. Our old water heater was very out of code and in a weird closet in the garage. By the time Scott and his apprentice helper was done the space looked totally different. Everything is routed neatly and up to code now. The framing and door for the closet gone and the space just looks like it was meant to look that way all along. I’m really ocd about home repairs and projects. And I’m super happy with how everything came together. Will use them again for any future repairs

This is the second time Scott has come
To our house this year. We were very impressed with him the first time we asked for him again. He showed up first thing this morning and was able to fix the leak from the upstairs shower. He did have to cut out 2 sections of my kitchen ceiling but tried to do as little damage as possible. Scott was thorough in his work, polite and easy to talk to. Phenomenal. Larry and his guys saved my house from an ex-contractor’s disaster workmanship. They came out to do the assessment the same day I called them and began work the next morning. They arrived on time, stayed late and stuck to the quote despite the extra 2 days of work that was unexpected. Larry and crew were hardworking, respectful and pleasant to be around. I called Larry Stinson after a very poor experience with a different plumbing company and this one couldn't have been more opposite. Throughout the process, Larry Stinson's team has been professional, communicative, and wonderful to work with. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy, they called multiple times to alert me when the technician would be here with a tracking link, and sent over a profile of my technician (Scott) so I knew who I'd be working with. Both guys who showed up were friendly and helpful too. They also informed me of the charges before they started which is very much appreciated. I highly recommend calling this company over the others in the area!
