Best General Repairs in Arlington TX

Sent out by Cinch, my home warranty provider. A man and woman came out to assess my electrical issue. The man wasn't really friendly, but I didn't care as long as they fixed my issue. After waiting a while for Cinch to approve the repair, AAA Services no showed on me for two appointments. They did not care that I had to rearrange my schedule twice to accommodate them. After the no shows, they stopped replying to me. I have subsequently cancelled Cinch as my home warranty since they insist on using companies that treat their customers like this. I see they actually have some good reviews, so they may be worth it for you. They also have reviews on Yelp which are horrible, which makes me wonder about the validity of Google reviews. Buyer beware. I will be using Baker Brothers from now on. They are more expensive, but paying a $140 deductible to get a firm like AAA Services out is just not worth the hassle for me.

I first used Fischer & Boone when I had a pipe burst under my Fort Worth 1940 home back in August 2015. I was a new home owner, having just purchased the place in April. While some plumbers did suggest they could fix the old galvanized steel pipe, the writing on the wall was full replacement would be necessary.
Fischer & Boone were direct in saying what was needed to be done and the cost. While others night be able to patch things cheaper, that would put stress on the rest of the system and future issues may arise. It wasn't something I as a 24 year old new homeowner may have wanted, but the full replacement to PEX piping was what was needed for the then 85 year old home.

Since then, I have used Fischer & Boone for a water heater replacement in 2018 after
returning from a deployment, and most recently a leak fix at the water meter box where there was a small leak. They have always been quick in response, professional in their work, and reasonable and direct in their cost. They didn't try to direct me to perhaps additional unnecessary work, and I appreciated that as a then new homeowner and now a bit more seasoned one.

We've used Metro Energy in the past , but our recent service call by their tech Nathan was the best. Took the time to answer any question or concern. Awesome attitude great customer service and extremely trust worthy

DFW Pipe & Plumbing really came through. I contacted their competition but they told me 2 weeks to get on the schedule. Not DFW Pipe. They came and gave me an estimate the same day and fixed my slab leak the next. Better yet, they did not nickle and dime me. I paid what was quoted, even though the job was not as anticipated. Call and have Wendy take care of you. She is the best :)

This was an awesome experience . Ben and his crew were amazing I would recommend them to anyone. The prices were incredible! They were fast, clean and efficient ! Ben cared enough to call back after he finished to check on things and said he would like to come by again to just personally inspect. AMAZING!!

I called Ernies with what turned out to be a majorly blocked sewer line. They sent Matt, who was not only very professional and knowledgeable, but also one of the nicest people I’ve met. He explained everything clearly - what the problem was, what needed to be done, and what will need to be done in the future.
