Fred did a great job replacing the water valves to my washer. He worked quickly, and his work was high quality. He was also able to fix my drain hose...a real problem solver. I will definitely call Ernie's Plumbing again.

I will not call them again. Too expensive and rather unprofessional. The plumber showed up promptly. He charged me too much and would not even take the coupon that I had. He did a good job though. The quote he gave me for another project was almost 2X the offer I had received from another plumber.

Greg & his partner were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and the business called me before they arrived. Booth took Covid protections and wore covers on their shoes to avoid any mess. We had a problem with the hot/cold control on our shower. Greg determined that we did not need a new cartridge or faucet. It was simply an issue with the knob that controls the hot/cold water. I offered to pay for the service call but the repair estimate was free….unbelievable! I highly recommend this company and will use them for any plumbing needs.

We have used Ernies plumbing several times through the years we have owned our home in Irving. Today the plumber Neal replaced the fixtures to our washing machine. Our home is 57 years old and Neal examined the problem of leaking in the wall and determined we needed both the hot and cold connection replaced. He quickly bought the new connectors and installed them. I was concerned that the drain was clogged but after testing it, he determined it was not. I was very glad of his expertise. As before, the job was done quickly and efficiently. He left the area very clean as well. I am glad to have a company that we can trust because we love our home and with it’s age we know we have to have experts helping us keep it in good working order.

With a 35 year old home, I am starting to experience signs of things that need repair or replacement.  My neighbor used Ernie's Plumbing Service and spoke highly of their service, so I gave them a call and found that to be true.When their service representative, Carl, arrived, I found him to be easy to talk to and observed good listening skills. Carl was polite, pleasant, had a can do attitude and was certainly not afraid to work.  In almost no time the work was complete and Carl was on his way.After the first time Carl took care of our plumbing needs, I was sure to request him to come out again and deal with our next plumbing issue and will again in the future if required. Jim S.Ps. - When I meet someone in the field who displays these positive attributes, it is normally a reflection of their personality, upbringing and may include other factors.  I noted, in conversation with Carl, that he appreciates his job, the company he works for and the support Mr. Ernie has provided him over the years. I must say this company sounds like a great place to work.  The office staff is also top shelf, the phone is answered promptly with a pleasant greeting and good communication skills.  I can also say, I have experienced prompt follow through on any requests.

Thomas #565 did an amazing job, treated us with utmost respect and talked to us about our plumbing needs in terms we could understand. He is very professional and friendly, feels like you known him forever. Put in an amazing water heater and did it quickly. We are very, very pleased!

Neil did an awesome job estimating and installing the new shower reroute. I liked Neil that he was very analytical reviewing the issue where previous plumbers looked at it for 2 minutes and gave us a quote that was too high. I will use Ernie's again for sure.

I called Ernie's Plumbing because my hot water was leaking in my bathtub. I was away for two weeks and the house was closed with no ventilation because I had covered most of the windows with plastic to keep the cold air out. When I returned I had mold on my walls in the livingroom. And after calling to check my water bill it was two and a half times the amount it normally is. I called and they were able to come out the same day. Craig did the repairs quickly and efficiently. He has a beautiful smile, very customer friendly. He listened to my concerns and gave advise on other issues I I slept so good that night after the repairs. Its amazing how quiet my house is now that the constant dripping of water is gone. The service was excellent. I will refer Ernie's to friends and family. All I can say is keep up the good work. Companies with employees like Craig should be proud. It's hard to find a company that values their work and your business. Kudos to Ernie's.

We had a leaky outside faucet that was also very loose. We had two other companies give us VERY expensive quotes to repair it, that also included breaking into the side of the house. And each one said, yeah, we'll have to totally tear up your house, but it's up to you to get someone to repair that!Ernie's was our last estimate. Thomas gave us a reasonable price, said no way did he need to break into the side of the house - only needing to drill a bit of brick out, and that he would make it look good with some mortar. He was personable, seemed very experienced, and got the job done beautifully! It's been about a month now and there are no signs of any leaks or poor workmanship. We won't hesitate to use Ernie's again!

Martin Orozco is the best. Very professional and customer friendly. Very knowledgeable and fixed problem in a speedy manner. Had to go to hardware store for a part and still completed project in a timely manner. Would recommend Ernie's Plumbing and Martin to anyone.

I called Ernie's to fix a water line break at the meter. Tech Josh #433 came out immediately, gave a very reasonable quote and fixed it promptly. He was professional, respectful and got the job done. It was not an easy task with old rusty bolts and sprinkler box in the way. He knew exactly how to tackle each new problem and did it. I will definitely use Ernie's again.

Really great guys, helped us fix 2 pipe breaks in a restroom and never tried to charge us an arm and a leg for all the work they did. Absolutely calling these guys next time and recommend them for anyone else in similar situations

Haven was unable to find the sources of the leaks the first time and wanted to charge more the second time. Did not cover the area that was cut out the second time.

I had to call Ernie's the day after Christmas and they were able to come the same day! Luckily, we didn't need to have anything done and the clog cleared itself, but the plumber explained everything to me clearly. We will definitely be using Ernie's again.

I had originally called Mansfield plumbing to come out and take a look at a slab leak at our house, but they were booked, so I asked them for a recommendation for another plumber and one of the names they gave me was Ernie’s plumbing. That might have been a huge mistake because now I think that I have found my plumbing company for life.Not only were these guys on time with their appointments, the plumber they sent out, Curtis Posey was not only professional but was very knowledgeable at his craft. Instead of doing patch work and risking another leak down the road, he recommended doing a reroute of that bad line through the attic. I now have a fresh new line, and my outside bib for my hose is at a better location than the original location.They do what they promise and the work is guaranteed and their prices are the most reasonable out of the other plumbers we called. I highly recommend using these guys for your plumbing needs, like I said I think I found our plumbers for life.

I had bad water heater leak. Thomas came out gave me a very reasonable rate. Thomas repaired my leaks and make sure I didn't have any other leaks. It is very hard to know who you can trust with your repairs these days. I would definitely recommende Ernie's plumbing services.

Called them on the 7th of Aug for a appointment the following week and they were able to respond the next day which was a Saturday . They arrived on time Saturday morning and had me up and running in no time . Their employees were courteous and professional and cleaned up and did not leave a mess . Mike was very professional & friendly. He diagnosed the problem, explained what need to be done to fix the problem, & made the necessary repairs in a very timely manner. I have no complaints & will be using Mike for future repairs.

My plumber Matt did a great job fixing the problem and he was also a very nice (cool) individual. I liked talking to him about our pasts living in the same city. He was courteous, was wearing a mask and cleaned up after the job was done. I will absolutely call them again and ask specifically for Matt, but it seems like the issue will be fixed for a while : )

I have used Ernie’s plumbing for several issues. The plumbers are knowledgeable and very courteous. They arrive on time. My only complaint is that they charge too much. This last time was to unclog a slow drain. They quote me 250.00 which is way too much for a job that would only take 5 minutes to use a snake to unclog. The next time I have a plumbing issue I will not call them. They are too expensive.

Plumber that came out was very short with me in a time of need. My drain was clogged or broken and he seemed like he didnt want to help like he was in a hurry to be somewhere.EDIT: Most definitely not Mr. owner, my email is set up like this so I don't get spam. I found this company on the internet after searching plumbers in Arlington, TX. I took a chance based upon the reviews that had been posted and the star rating. I am glad I did. They (Greg) did a very good job, arrived promptly, professional manner and fair pricing. I was impressed because they do not charge a trip charge and give free estimates based upon the job. I will use them in the future and highly recommend them. I had a burst pipe on an outside faucet from the recent cold spell.

Called this company on Thursday morning at 8:30 and the plumber was here by 10:00am. Our plumber, Miles, was fantastic! Very professional and knowledgeable.I don’t remember a time when I’ve had better service or a better experience from any technician or representative from any company. If I could give this experience and Miles more than 5 stars I would!I’m hoping we never need to call a plumber again but if we do this is a no brainer. Doesn’t get any better than this folks!

I called Ernie's late on Friday and they came out and fixed it in less than 24hrs! Mike was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Very fair pricing as well. I didn't feel like I was ripped off like I had with other companies I've dealt with in the past. My backyard is no longer under water :)I will definitely be using them again. Also this is the first time I've taken the time to submit a review for a company because I finally found one that deserved it!

I called Ernie’s after a master plumber couldn’t resolve the issue after 3 visits. Ernie’s sent Carl out and he had the drain open and working better than ever within an hour. Quick, polite and less than half the price a different plumber quoted me. I’m a very satisfied customer.

Bryan Marcellus from Ernie's came out last Fri morn to take a look at our water leak. He was courteous and professional. A high caliber plumber, Bryan was able to diagnose the problem in a timely manner. Wish I had thought to call Ernie's Plumbing in the first place! I can't sing Bryan's praises enough. I called around 5 plumbers last week to no avail. I finally texted a friend to ask her who they utilize. She couldn't remember the name due to not needing plumbing srvs in a while, but said they are on Pioneer Pkwy. Michael #410 was my technician to repair a bad leak in a toilet tank supply line on a Sunday evening!.. Normally Not a Big deal but my home is a condo and the water leak was affecting my downstairs neighbor and two more units when the main water to these four units had to be shut down..I left a message on the website regarding a need of expedited service to solve this problem as quickly as possible!.. I really didn't think that would work, but at 7:04am Monday I received a call from Ernie's and the repair was schedule was for 8:00-11:00am that day!.. The person i talked to was very helpful and understood the inconvenience this was causing my 3 neighbors and went Above and Beyond to assist me!!..At 8:35am, Michael #410 was ringing my doorbell!.. Absolutely Unbelievable!!.. Michael was Very Professional, Knowledgeable and Efficient in addition to having a Great Personality!... Great Gentleman, I could not have been more impressed!..I have had about 5 encounters with the employees of Ernie's in the past few years and everyone has been basically the same!.. This is our 3rd experience with the company, Carl did such an an outstanding job last time, we requested him again. My mother. the home owner is 85 years old, we needed someone who would explain everything and have patience with her. Well, Carl is exactly what the doctor ordered and more! He is polite and courteous, he carries himself as a christian. I exhibited concern and kindness towards my mother, he insured his work and clean up efforts were to her satisfaction. He interacted with her when he left, addressing her by name, asking her to call if she was not satisfied with anything, thanked her for her business and asked her for all her future business if any. Fast and friendly but $400 for a 45 minute job seems a bit steep.UPDATE: I received a phone call from the GM within 30 minutes of my posting this. He agreed that I was mischarged and he offered a partial refund. Amazing customer service! Additional note: Because the repair was simple I normally would have done it myself, but the leak was discovered as we were installing new flooring throughout the house and I could not take time to be a DIYer. When I saw how the tech did the repair, he told me why my way, using a propane torch and solder, would have eventually failed. The point is, it's probably better to let the experts do the job. I've used Ernie's for years and I trust them.

You can believe every review you've read about Carl. Bryan initially came out to inspect the plumbing trouble and quickly identified the issue and had a very reasonable solution. Previous plumber who inspected the problem wanted to make the job a lot longer and more difficult (including jackhammering of the slab and manifold removal) Thankfully Ernie's came in, told us their plan, got us scheduled the next business day. Bryan and Carl worked so efficiently that my kids and I were able to stay in the house. They were so kind to my kids and animals. And they were very informative and thorough. The plans had to change a little, but they alerted me right away and were able to explain things to me in common knowledge language Haha- and better yet, it didn't cost anything more than estimated. I will use them again for all future needs, thanks guys!

Bryan was punctual. I called his company mid morning, and he came by early afternoon, determined what he needed to repair and replace some parts. He worked on it for a while after he obtained what he needed. Came back this morning to finish it off and has left. Bryan was fantastic and suggested replacing a part i had not thought of and it was an original part of the house as was both the facets that were replaced.Bryan was great and I am happy I got him to do the job. I will call him if I need any of their services again and will recommend him to anyone that need their services again.

I would have rated this higher except for the mess left behind. Will send photo from phone. The sink drain line was clogged beyond the trap and took the plumber over an hour to get the drain flowing again. I'm glad he unstopped it, and am grateful for the senior discount. Not the nasty smell and stain left behind. Have sprayed with bleach water several times.

Have recommended ernies to all my clients when needed. They have great friendly honest respectful employees starting from phone personnel to repair person sent out. Always make sure all questions answer before they leave after job is done.

We had a clog and the two guys that came resolved the issue, my problem is that they didn’t have masks or shoe covers and tracked mud on my carpet, they left the clean put cover off and the big one they didn’t close my gate and when I let my dogs out they ran down the street and I had to chase them down the street. We have used Ernie’s exclusively not sure why they didn’t put plastic down and use shoe covers all the guys in the past have. Just some constructive criticism. Thanks.

When we called this company we just needed a faucet outside replaced. A young gentleman came out names Carl. He was the most friendly and knowledgeable young man. He was able to fix our issue and 2 year later I asked for him again for a simular issue and guess what he is still with Ernies. So he came out again and once again, pro lem solved. I have used Ernies in the past and have been very satisfied. However my experience this time had a rocky start but a great finish. The plumber was stuck at another engagement and wasn't able to make it during my 2:00 - 6:00 window and had to be rescheduled the next morning. This was after I had taken the afternoon off from work. The owner of Ernies personally called me this morning knowing I was upset and apologized for not being able to come during the service window nor contacting me to let me know they couldn't come. He sent someone over early today to fix the leak at no charge. I really appreciate Ernies for owning the problem and stepping up to do the right thing and will continue to call them in the future for my plumbing needs.

Great Customer Service Very Professional

Timely, efficient, and knowledgeable. We called due to an emergency water heater problem an hour and a half before they closed on a Saturday and they had their technician, Terry, out the SAME DAY! Terry diagnosed our problem and even finished the repair the same day! No pressure, no upsell, just good, quality, honest work. Thank you guys for being an integrity driven company and treating our problem as if it were your own.

I am very pleased with the installation of a new hot water heater and a pressure reducing valve. Josh (433) arrived promptly and was very professional and patiently answered the many questions I had. He also did some additional minor work at no cost. I was so pleased with the service provided that I would recommend Josh/Ernie's Plumbing to my own mother.

I submitted a request via Angie's List and they were one of three recommendations. On the website form, the options provided were limited compared to what I needed done and figured that I would have to explain what I needed. I got a new ventless gas heater and I needed it to replace the old one I had. When the appointment setter for Pink Plumber called me, I explained what I needed and what I had to her and that I wont not be available until 5:30 the next day. I was called on the next day before 4:00pm and was told that the plumber was on their way. I told them I would meet at 5:30pm. I rushed home, got there around 5:20pm and called to let them that I was home. The plumber did not get there until 6:30pm. When I showed him the heater he told me that it was against his license to install the heater. He asked me where I purchased it and I told him Home Depot. He told me that he has 5 master plumbers in his family and he couldn't install it. I told him that Ernies' was coming the next day to give me a bid and they said they could do it. Next day, Ernie's Plumbing came out gave me some information about my product, clean the gas valve, remove the old heater, install the new heater, went over the owner's manual with me, showed me how to ignite it. I paid $195 which was for the service call. On the previous day when I set the appointment with Ernie's, the appointment setter wasn't sure what I was requesting, so she got one of the plumbers on the phone. I explained the issue and he said they could do it. Guess who I am giving my future business to? I am so grateful for their help because this was right before the 3 day below freezing weather and they got the heat going at my house. Thank you soooo very much.

Matt was wonderful!! He explained what he was going to do, gave me an estimate right away and took care of the problems. This young man cares about his work!! You are number one Matt!!!

Excellent job done by Greg #188. He is very knowledgeable to identify hidden issues and smartly fix them. It would be perfect experience if the work had been done during the super hot weekend. And yet this doesn’t prevent him from becoming five stars plumbing expert!

We had an old water heater we needed replacing. I called Ernie's to get a quote. Carl, the service technician, came out on schedule and provided a quote. We chose to have the water heater replaced and Carl was out the next day. He was friendly and professional. He completed the work in about 2 hours.When we need plumbing services in the future, I'm calling Ernie's and asking for Carl.Thank you Ernie's and Thank you Carl.

The plumber arrived right on time and immediately knew what I had done wrong in installing my new garbage disposal. He took two minutes to correct the problem and would take no money. He told me he considered it a courtesy call. I highly recommend Ernie's Plumbing.

Great place to use for any and all plumbing needs. Miles Dunkle is the man to call, he is fast, professional, and very knowledgeable. He and his associate Cody Copeland got the job done fast and not only made sure I was happy but showed me what was done and explained the process. Excellent job gentlemen.

**Don't call these guys if you need your sewer routed** Expensive and will do a quick job, without making sure the pipe is very clean. I wanted them to use the other 'U' shaped attachment, and he had to go to the office to get it (apparently they don't normally use it). He charged me extra for that. He even told me 'other' guys won't use it because it can get stuck, and then they have to tear up the yard. They did do the camera for free after I declined the $100 dollar extra charge, but he only went to the very beginning of the main problem just into water, and so we never saw if there were more roots that he didn't get; plus, it was fully submerged so it wasn't draining properly. I don't think there were roots that were fully cleared with the adapter as he quit while he was still fighting it. The router guide pipe came off. I don't know if it broke, or just came loose, but he called it quits right after that. I've had this done several times in the last 13 years. It takes time to do a good job, and they don't seem to want to do that. The technician was charming; but I got a salesmanship vibe. I got more estimates than I asked for and I won't call them again.I wish I knew whom I used last time. They took their time, and really went through with both attachments several times far into the street. It's also been the longest period I've ever had between routings. I expect to have to do it very soon, comparatively. The technician told me it would need it yearly. If you are doing it yearly, call someone else, because the only thing going down the drain is your money!There moto seems to be CHARGE MORE, UP-SALE, and do as LITTLE WORK AS POSSIBLEResponse to owner: It should't be hard to look me up. The work was done on 8/10 and the Tech had to go back to the shop to get the bit that would actually clean roots from the drain, but I don't have any intention of using you guys again. My toilet is bubbling again, already when I use the shower. I'll be calling another company. I wouldn't take down this review if you gave me a full refund, which is what I should do anyway, but I'm not going to ask.Update: I called ABC Plumbing which, I believe now, is the company I used last time. I believe, he actually worked at cleaning it. It cost much less and they did a better job. I have no affiliation with them except that I might have used them before. This is the only time I've ever needed to call a plumber less than a week after one left for the same job. It's been some time and the toilet is still not bubbling when I take a shower.

I called Ernies and explained what the issue was with our bathroom sink. They sent a tech out within 40 minutes or less. He looked at the sink and let us know what needed to be done and the cost. Greg was very professional and kept us informed of what he was doing. After he finished up he provided tips on helping us try and prevent more issues with the sink. Ernies is definitely a plumber I would recommend to any of my family or friends. They provide great customer service

Roberto came out and looked at our shower. He was very nice and polite, very courteous. He gave us an estimate for fixing the problem. Will definitely call him back when I return from vacation. We will definitely recommend Ernie's Plumbing Service as long as you have employees like Roberto.

Disappointed to find that they no longer will service our area when we are across the street from McKinney, all I have to do is cross the median - very sad after almost 15 years.

Used Ernie's plumbing for a number of years. Recently, we contacted Ernie's to fix a toilet and two sinks that were running slow. The toilet repair was fine but the price we paid to unstop two sinks, $190.00 was excessive.We will not use Ernie's again in the future. There are other plumbers with more reasonable pricing .

I wanted to let Ernie's Management Staff know, that I have been a client of your company for an extended period of time! At one point I was contemplating about going through a different plumbing Service when I was experiencing a problem with my hot water flow after Ernie had installed a Tankless Water Heater System. I was very disappointed to say the least not to get hot water throughout my entire house. I contacted Randy and he sent Service Technician Fred #306, and Fred quickly identified the problem and fixed the problem!! I later had water pressure flow problems within certain areas of my home. Once again, I requested #306 Technician and he this guy was amazing! He identified the problem and came up with the solution to resolve the problem. We previously utilized their service to repair a under the foundation hot water leak and were completely satisfied with the repair. Had a leaking outdoor faucet that leaked since we moved in 5 years ago. Various plumbers told us they would need to remove the brick to fix the problem. After putting it off for years, we called Ernie’s Plumbing and Bryan Marcellus was the plumber they sent out and we couldn’t have been happier with the service he provided. He was on time, very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. He explained things to us, asked if we needed anything else, and helped us with anything we needed help with. I had a leaking bath tub. I contacted Ernie's Plumbing late in the evening I was scheduled for an appointment the next morning. Plumber Mike Employee ID 410 arrived on time diagnosed the problem gave me the estimate prior to doing the work. He completed the work gave me plumbing suggestions for the future. Reviewed with me the various customer plans Ernie's offered and collected the payment and left. I found Mike to be very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Just had Ernie's install a new outlet so we can install an ice machine in our laundry room. They sent two technicians who were very knowledgeable, extremely polite and very professional. They made excellent suggestions and updated our washer plumbing also. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I had an ice maker hooked up and the ice/water dispenser activated.I had two plumbers assigned to my job. They arrived on time. They had the appropriate ppe when they entered the work area. Both men were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They explained in detail how they would perform the service. They were quick but thorough. I would recommend Ernie's particularly with the crew I had. The only drawback is that the final invoice was not itemized. With a bill of well over $600, I would have liked to see how those charges were broken down

I have had a leaky broken faucet for about 4 months now and decided to finally get it fixed. I am disabled and on a fixed income so that's why I had to wait to make sure I could pay the entire bill. I posted my situation on Angie's list and Ernie's was the first one to respond. They called me and let me know they could come out from a free estimate.They were able to work with me on a good date and send out their employee Thomas to my residence. He was very nice and gave me an estimate within just 10 minutes of him being here. The price that was given to me was something I could manage so I immediately went and picked up the faucet that I wanted to set up for the next appointment for Thomas to come back out and install.I am a female and do not have much knowlegldge when it comes to sinks and faucets, so I had to call Ernie's to make sure I was buying the appropriate fixture while at Home Depot and Thomas was able to let me know over the phone what I needed. I appreciate how easy it was to have my questions answered in such a timely manner without me having to leave messages and wait for a call back. This was virtually no hassle for me at all, and made the experience so much better than I ever expected when dealing with a plumbing service.Thomas was able to come out and install my new sink fixture within 40 minutes!I am absolutely amazed by their five star service, and the fact that I am disabled and they made me feel safe and secure when useing their service means the world to me.I will continue to use Ernie's for all of my plumbing issues. 5 out of 5 star service!

Very bad customer service. They extended a gas line for an outdoor kitchen and they can't see the current situation and worked like a machine and completed the job. The existing gas turn on/off switch was removed now and they added that below the gas cook top for which I won't be having the access as there will be a granite on top and the it was surrounded by stone. When asked, it will be additional charge as he needs to work for an extra 1 hour now. They should have done this while extending the gas line. I won't recommend them to any one.

Fred and Qunitin spotted our slab leak in about 60 seconds on Monday and we had them scheduled by Wednesday. They were done in THREE hours. These guys are the most professional plumbers I've ever dealt with and I would recommend them to anyone who's having any sort of pipe/leak issue. They gave us great deal and gave us the best option. Would use these guys 10/10 times. A+++++ service!

We just purchased and moved into our new home and two days later we had a gas leak from our tankless water heater. Our warranty company sent someone out that didn’t fix tankless so we looked on Angie’s list and found Ernie’s plumbing with great reviews. I called them and they came out the same day within a couple hours! Thomas 565 looked at everything and told us that he could repair it and we wouldn’t have to get a whole new water heater, which we had originally thought. He gave us a free estimate and was very knowledgeable about the problem. We decided to go with him to fix it and he came out the next available day first thing in the morning. He made a couple trips to and from to get the parts he needed since our tankless was one that not most people have. He replaced the piping and fixed the positioning of the piping to where it should have been originally. He even insulated our water line and cleaned out the heater going above and beyond. Thomas was courteous and explained everything he was doing and why. He didn’t try to upsell us or try and fix things that didn’t need fixing, he was completely honest and trustworthy and he saved us thousands of dollars. Ernie should be proud to have a person like Thomas working for his company. I will highly recommend this company to my friends and it will be the only plumbing company we use in the future. The technician that came our Michael #410 was professional and explained things so that I could understand. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to pricing $300 is a lot to pay to have a snake run through a drain. Another company provided an over the phone estimate of $199 yet I went with Ernie's because I had used them in the past with a good experience on another plumbing issue. I had no idea it would be that much of a difference but I had to get it done immediately so went through with it.

My experience with Ernie's Plumbing was a good one. The tech showed up on time, was friendly and professional, and did a great job. The only minor problem is that when he reconnected my washing machine he forgot to put the drain tube back in the drain, so after doing my first load of laundry I had water all over the floor! Honest mistake, I would definitely recommend Ernie's!

I asked Ernie's for a quote for a tankless water heater 9.5 gallons. They quoted me $9000, which is around $5000 more than the national highest estimate for a tankless water heater installation (including removal of old tank water heater). I called for a second quote from Home Depot, and they quoted me $4,300 for the full installation of an 11.5 gallon tankless heater and removal of the old tank. I can understand quoting high, but this is gouging at the least. When Earnie's called me back after the $9,000 estimate, they asked if I would like to have the work done. I said the quote was high and the lady asked if I would like to talk to a manager to see if I can get a lower quote. I agreed because why not? After a short wait, she came back to tell me that a manager isn't available right now and that they would call me back the following day. It's been 2 weeks now and I've still not received that call back. Home Depot will be getting my business rather than Ernie's.

Our landlord used Ernie's to replace ALL the pipes under our house, and although it has been a long process, we could not be more pleased with the service. The technicians are super friendly and very informative; they never hesitate to answer our questions or keep us up to date on the progress. Working with Ernie's on this major project has helped us get through what could have been a horrible experience, and they have made it much more bearable. Scenario - 66 yr old house (last 38 a resident) wood beamed 8 above floating slab with original oak floors. IDENTIFIED problem - Of course hot water slab leak (3rd). Spoke with Bryan (who is very personable) about using PEX and without hesitation he basically said there is always a way! From there Bryan had my attention because the other plumbing option estimated was to tear up the floor, jack hammer through slab and repair the leak(copper). Bryan, once on the job, was very methodical in DEFINING his approach and options to be implemented. GENERATING the means in which he was going to utilize was now coming together. All parameters were EVALUATED by Bryan before actually starting. To INITIATE Bryan would need an additional co-worker.. The big picture was now in place. Bryan was steadfast and persistent in devising what the job entailed and bringing Matt (who had done work for us before) only streamlined the process. FOLLOW-UP -The time it took for Bryan to process what needed to be done was actually equal/more than it took Bryan and Matt to do the job. OUR WOODEN FLOORS UNTOUCHED!!I appreciate what I call the higher level thinking skills utilized and thoroughness of every detail. My wife and I are VERY PLEASED with Bryan and Matt's effort. He gave me an estimate of $685.00 to replace or repair the faucet and I declined when he said he could just turn off the water at its own box, which was beside the faucet in the ground. He, named Michael C charged me $250.00 to turn it off.

I chose Ernie's because of all the good reviews and was not disappointed. It's a real plumbing company, not a dispatch service. Sam arrived early, was friendly and professional. The price i was quoted in the morning is the price i was charged. I am very pleased.

I live in a mobile home and our pipes have been clogged for a while. Being in a household filled with kids, it was mandatory to get it fix as soon as possible so I ended up calling Ernies so they can fix my toilets professionally. The guy came to our house and ran a rooter through my main bathroom and apparently said that our main pipe that runs to the septic tank was not in the right position. He guaranteed with me that the toilets would start working as along as we lowered the main pipe. He told me I was going to be paying about 1300 in total, which was pretty expensive but we agreed to do it either way. He then told me that he was gonna run a camera down my pipes to make sure afterwards that everything works. I remind you, he didnt tell me that it was going to cost an extra 250 bucks and at the end, i dont even believe he did it.. About 30 minutes later of him going somewhere, he starts on the digging of the main pipe while leaving the rooter in my main toilet mid way done.. After he got done with everything, i went down to check the pipe which looks like he barley even moved it from its originally position and just replaced them with new ones.. before he left, he checked it if it work and apparently both of them did. After 20 minutes of him leaving, dirty water just started coming up from both of our bath tubs.. the toilets clogged again.I called back to get someone out to check it again.. they apparently said that if we don't pay an extra 250 to run a camera down my pipes.. they aren't gonna be able to fix anything. They have also said, they will charge me more after finding out what else needs to be done.. So simply.. I spent 1300 dollars on getting my toilets fix, also guaranteed by the guy that it will work.. it doesnt.. new guys come out and tell me that I need to give them more money to fix the mess they have left behind yesterday? Apparently, I'm not even able to get my money back. I have just spent 1300 dollars on NOTHING.

After receiving 3 quotes to fix a leak in a mater garden tub that was leaking under the tub to the floor. We decided on Ernies Plumber. 3 plumbers told us that the tub would need to be removed to source the leak which would be very costly plus drywall and tile repair cost after the leak was fixed. Ernies plumbers sent Brian Stalcup out and he was a God-send, as he worked diligently to avoid removing the tub. Within 30 minutes Brian called to tell me he figured out a way to get under the tub without removing it! I highly recommend this company and specifically Brian for all your plumbing needs!

They have been sending flyers and mail to my address for someone who passed away over 3 years ago. They are insensitive and rude, and tell me too bad we're not removing the name... deal with it. With that attitude why in the world would I recommend them to anyone.

I called early this morning about a hose bib leak. They apparently had a cancellation and Sam showed up within the hour. We discussed the leak problem and my concerns with seemingly simple plumbing repairs by others not handled correctly years ago. Sam was very responsive offered a few options for repairs to chose from with the further information to consider for each of those options. The hose bib came off and Sam noticed a very slight variance in the new fitting length so added a necessary fitting to accomplish a great seal and assure a good repair outcome. I could not be happier with the responsive, experienced, efficient and professional service I received today from Ernie’s and Sam.

I was told the job would take all day when quoted the price of $1150.00. However the plumber only worked from 10:30 AM to 1:50 PM, is that all day? I was satisfied with the job, but I did not receive any credit for the copper he removed from my home. As we all know copper is almost as valuable as gold. I did get a $25.00 Credit for using the Yellow Pages add.All in all, I was satisfied with the job, but felt like I had been scalped with the cost. Being Senior Citizens and living in our home for 47 yrs. and continue living in our home til death we had to have the repairs done.Just this morning I talked to Randy, General Manager of Ernie's Plumbing, and he said that there had been a mistake in pricing and was issuing me a refund of $525.00.Thanks Randy, I am completely satisfied with the service and the job.WELL DONE !

Kudos to Mr. Shawn T. (#566), Ernie's Plumbing field repairman, for excellent, honest and professional service. Shawn looked at a leaking shower in my home whose full repair would have required an access hole and an overall expensive repair. I was able to find a work-around that meets my needs for now, but I'll keep Ernie's in mind for future repairs / upgrades based on Shawn's exemplary representation of the company.

They totally screwed me. I scheduled them to come and remove my kitchen sink on Wednesday for the new countertop people who are going to be here Thursday morning. Then I had them scheduled to come back and install a new kitchen sink plus a new toilet after the countertop people were done.At 5:22 PM Wednesday they said they could not make it until Friday. Friday?They screwed my whole project. CLEARLY they did not care one little bit or they could have at least come first thing Thursday morning. Which, a) would have been fine b) would have been the professional thing to do. But Friday? Two days late?How can they possibly respond to emergencies when they are two days late for *scheduled* visits?

I have two commercial properties I'm selling that need plumbing work so I can get them listed so I stopped by their office this morning to talk to them. I walked in, introduced myself (name, brokerage name) and said I have some work for them. Some dirty looking guy says WE DON'T DO THAT!. I said you don't do plumbing anymore? Kind of laughing. He says there's a 'No Soliciting' sign on the door! I told him I wasn' soliciting, that I have plumbing work and that my office has plumbing work all the time. He told me to get out. It's kind of funny when you consider the hundreds of plumbing companies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Someone from Ernies came out to do an estimate, last June. In fairness, though the estimate seemed quite high, and was out of our budget, they were professional and thorough, in their assessment. The problem is that now, I am getting emails from them, and I did not request to be put on a list. Unsolicited spam! Worse yet, the removal link in the email does not work on a mobile device, because the browser redirects to the mobile site.

Chuck May came to my aid and spent a no-nonsense amount of time in repair and resolution. My house is my sanctuary and it is very neat. Making a mess with wet feet is not acceptable. Mr. May is the only plumber I have ever had (I am almost 70 years old) who did not make a mess, cleaned up any water spills after his work, and was the consummate professional in every way.

After having serveral plumbers and our home warranty out sending plumbers to the house to fix the plumbing which with the prices we couldn’t afford and it didn’t sound right with what they wanted to do. Thomas 565 listened and then looked at everything then gave us a quote. Quote was within our budget he did exactly what he said he would do. Very pleased as all our drains are working again. We do have some other things that we’d like to get done and we will only call Ernie’s Plumbing from now on. Best customer service I’ve ever had.

I was given a 4 hour window for a plumber to come out and give me an estimate. I was told someone would be there between 10-2pm. I called at 11:52 to check the status. I was told the plumber was at lunch and I was his next stop. Next they called me at 12:37 to tell me the plumber was running late and they would be in touch as soon as he was available. The next call from them came at 12:55pm. I was on the other line and missed the call. I literally called right back and had the receptionist on the phone @ 12:57pm and they told me they sent the plumber on to the next job. I asked to speak to the supervisor and explained to him that it was less than 2 min before I called back and he said I’m sorry that’s our policy. If you don’t answer we send them on to the next job. I understand the need to have people answer but cancelling the appointment that quickly for not answering when I had talked to them twice before is a bit ridiculous. I will never call this company again.I appreciate the response Ernie, but come on man... I established confirmation that I was at the house not once but twice and received two phone calls prior to the final call. I believe that should be enough evidence that I was at the house ready willing and able to meet with the plumber. I think maybe developing a 2nd form of communication might be a good idea, like text, or maybe you could mark on the file that the owner was at the house when first or 2nd communication was established. I have attached the call log so you know I’m not someone who embellishes a complaint.

04/29/2016 my husband and I had a major back up in our master bathroom that was also causing our girls bathroom to have issues as well. We called Ernie's Plumbing in hopes that they could fix the issue seeing the original plumber was a no show no call. And it was nearly 4 on a Friday afternoon. We were told the plumber would arrive within 30 mins, however he was 15 mins late. When arriving he told us it would be $150 to remove the toilet plus $150 to run the auger. (With $25 off the total) My husband and I were somewhat stunned that removing the toilet would be $150!!! My husband asked the guy if we could removed it as well as replace it, to cut the $150 removal/replacement fee. (My husband had done some plumbing in the past so this was no big deal) The plumber said yes that would be great considering he didn't like removing and replacing toilets anyways. (First off its your job, second of all you definitely shouldn't inform the customer that you don't enjoy doing your job, it's very unprofessional) Anyhow, the clog was cleared, until we realized today 04/30/2016 that our kitchen sink was backed up. The plumber unclogged our bathroom, only to push the clog into the line that leads to the sink. We then called Ernie's to come out and take a look as we were pretty sure the sink was clogged due to the plumber not completely pushing the clog to the street, we felt the clog must have been somehow caught in the line that connects the sink pipes to the main. The second plumber arrives and states that there was no way we could be sure it's due to the same issue and that it would be another $195 to run another auger down the sink, while talking the sink began to drain. Problem solved right..... no a few hours later I go to get my girls in the bath to find my toilet and bathtubs were backed up yet again. (conformation that our thinking was probably right) Again I tried calling Ernie's which I ended up not getting an answer seeing it was 5:50pm on a Saturday and they were closed. This being an emergency, seeing we had no working toilets yet again, my husband tried finding a clean out, which to our surprise we don't have one because our house was built before clean outs were required. So my husband then pulled the toilet off and began trying to fix the issue the first plumber should have fixed! With no luck and hours wasted we finally had another plumber that was able to complete clear the clog all the was to the street. I am beyond disappointed with the first plumbers attitude about his job, which then reflected his work. The second plumber pretty much knew he was right seeing he was the plumber and didn't feel the need to even investigate. I seriously feel like I was robbed of $125!!! Yea it's not much, but then again when your husband is 3 months into starting his own company, and works extremely hard, every penny counts. (We definitely don’t go without but a new business can bring in some penny pinching until business is going good) I would not recommend Ernie's, it is a waste of time and money we most likely won't get back. Our one day problem turned into a 2 day problem. And more money to get another plumber to resolve the issue Ernie's should have fixed. Save your money and time and go with a different company.All money was paid in full and I can assure you money was not an issue on our part, so to assume that is just bad judgment on your part. These people will scam you in a major situation knowing service is needed. I’d highly recommend Baker Brothers!!

Had a plumber out today to fix a leaky water shut off valve for my elderly parents. I was informed to rebuild the shut off valve was $185 and to replace would be around $270. First off this is a $20 part. Bad news, the plumber tightened the connection which stopped the leak then proceeded to tell me $185 for rebuilding the valve. I pressed the resolution and asked him to disassemble the valve and show me the new parts....no new parts were found...I asked the question 3 times you replaced what? I was given the same answer the packing and seals inside the valve. The seals were still rotted so they had not been touched....he simply tightened the connection. At this point I asked him to gather his channel locks and showed him the door and made a call to a Manager at Ernie's. Told my story and all I was told was sorry...no trying to resolve the issue or anything but sorry. I would not suggest Ernie's due to this unprofessional deceitful service ethics.

Well, done. Had Fred and Quintin.... Fast, but a bit expensive, however have a feeling it would have be about same price with anyone. They did the job quickly .. Will certainly call them again.

The plumber that came to our home Terry employee number 592 made us feel right at home instead of the other way around. Very professional, upfront, giving us the best price with options, no pressure !! Even though the work that I had to cost a lot. We didn’t want him to leave just a down home person and a very professional one at that . I would gladly recommend him to anyone family or friends. I recommend him to the highest level of plumbing he knows his job in and out. And makes you smile while he does it. He deserves a raise !! Labor Day Save. Our sewer system backed up on a holiday weekend. Sunday night I left calls with several services. It was Ernie's that returned the call early on Monday. They arrived within 2 hours of the call. Greg quickly assessed the problem, explained it to me and gave me an estimate. Greg is wonderful. He explained it clearly, answered my questions and did the work promptly. I was charged a fair amount for the roto-rootering.It was such a relief and a surprise to get such service on a holiday. I won't call several services the next time I need a plumber. I will be calling just one: Ernie's.

I had the pleasure of meeting Thomas Johnson #565 yesterday after him coming out to help with a leak under our kitchen sink. He pointed out all the problems and took the time to explain everything he was doing. Usually plumbing issues come as emergencies and some discomfort as part of the repair process. We recently had a leak in our front yard which required that we replace the line feeding the house. We called Ernie's and to our surprise Terry came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. I was concerned that it would take a couple days to repair given the amount of work, but he assured me that the it could be done that day. He made a couple phone calls and a group of guys came out dug a trench and busted two small holes in the driveway for him to work. I really appreciate that they minimized how much of the driveway had to be busted. It was just enough for him to dig underneath and run the new line. He spent a couple hours doing the plumbing work and by 3pm he was done. Terry explained the process to me and what I needed to do once the city inspector did his job the next day (which he setup for me). He also left me his cell number to contact him once the inspector was done so he could let the digging crew know to come back and fill in the trench, again attempting to minimize how long the yard would be dug up. He walked me through all the parts he installed explaining what they were, how they worked and why they were needed. He was very patient as I asked questions. Thank you Terry.

I've seen lots of nice comments about Carl and I would like to add another one. This was the biggest repair I have ever had to deal with. The job kept growing and growing because of 50 year old plumbing. He was so nice to me and understood my concerns about how big the job was getting. He never acted like I should just get over it. His part of the job is done, only the back filling of the tunnels remains, but I got a text from him, checking on me! The work is good too, by the way, but the lasting impression will always be Carl being my battle buddy!

My client used Ernie's Plumbing. They were overcharged for the work done. $600 for a standard toilet is ridiculous. Plus other items. Put a estimate to repair a line into the home for $700.Client had another company come in and charge only $320. Beware of this company!!!!!!

Ernie's responded to a very difficult situation when the line from our toilet backed up and was overflowing in the house in Ft. Worth. The plumber was very diligent in not only resolving the clog, but he also did a thorough search of the system and found the cleanout outside the house that had been covered up with dirt and grass over the years. He kept me informed throughout the process and stayed with the problem until it was completely resolved. I would also like to thank the staff and the manager that worked with me and my tenant to overcome some difficulties even before the plumber showed up on site.

$650 for 1 hour of work to connect irrigation line to main line.$450 for 1 hour of work to auger and use camera equipment to identify main drain stoppage cause/location ... but this expense NOT credited toward a $4,200 quote (not kidding) to repair main line (estimated to be 2 feet below surface). Sewage left on driveway when investigation/jobs completed.Called/left message for owner/master plumber to verify $4,200 bid and to inquire regarding a credit of $450 toward work to be done. CALL NOT RETURNED!While the work done was very good (less sewage cleanup), it came at a VERY HIGH PRICE! Have received a bid to confirm main line issue AND make repairs for $1,500, almost $3,000 less than Ernie's Plumbing bid ...Bottom line ... BUYER BEWARE!Bottom Line Amended … 2.3.23Owner (Ernie) & GM (Randy) responded shortly after my last posting … agreed to issue a reasonable credit for initial work performed. A two-man team (Carl & Steve) was assigned to complete a more comprehensive investigation. This included a camera review of the sewage line between the driveway “clean-out” and the street, and between the driveway and the upper clean-out (beside the house); 50 feet or more of additional pipe, 100 feet total.Carl & Steve verified the original blockage/break in short order. 2 additional breaks (one of which was under the concrete driveway) were discovered … photos were provided, and the locations marked on the surface. A reasonable bid was agreed upon, and work began the following morning.The dig team assigned was truly amazing. These experienced individuals exposed the 3 breaks (each 3 – 4 feet in depth) in half-a-days’ time … perfectly square holes, dirt in piles on protective tarps.2-plus days of sleet and ice brought work to a standstill but was not disruptive to our use of water and bathroom facilities. Carl had assured us of our ability to live life as usual, and we had his mobile number should any problem or concern require his assistance.Driveways cleared of ice, but snow yet on the ground, Carl and Steve performed admirably. We cannot say enough of our appreciation for the professional, respectful, and caring manner of these gentlemen. Refreshing!Repairs made and thoroughly water tested … reviewed with camera again, just to make sure! Holes filled; concrete repairs seamless … a clean finish.A revised bottom line … Ernie’s Plumbing stepped up and made good on a sour beginning. I don’t hold a grudge if a discrepancy is resolved to my satisfaction. Everything about this experience was positive apart from the first encounter. I won’t say that Ernie’s came cheap. But prompt, certified, warrantied plumbing is, in instances such as this … a nasty job that requires very special attention ... professional experience/thorough diagnostics, specialized equipment, systemized/organized work plan, fluid execution, and patient customer care.We are grateful … wife and I agree we got what we paid for!End game: ***** 5 STARS worth of satisfaction!

I had a break in the drainage pipe from the house to the sewer and flooded my first floor. Greg Gentry from Ernie's promptly came out (within 2 hours of my call for help), was able to put in a temporary solution (on a Friday) and then came back on Monday and replaced the broken pipe. Trae came out on Christmas Eve after a pipe busted from the cold. He was fast, kind, loved our dogs, and communicative. We felt so comfortable with him at our home. He let us know next steps and how things will look for our plumbing. We definitely have our go-to plumber now!

We had a very fast turn around and the plumber was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a leak test to put our minds at ease. It was 500$ for a 50 minute job - which seems on the high-end. But overall we are happy with the service.

We discussed the pros and cons on major repairs vs. a new water heater. Terry was very patient and knew what he was talking about and able to explain in easy-to-understand terminology. I decided on a new water heater. He returned early Tuesday morning with Mike #410. They both worked together as a team and got our new water heater installed and tonight we have hot water again.I have done business before with Ernie's Plumbing for a major gas leak. We contacted Ernie's Plumbing this morning about a clogged kitchen sink. Greg came and was able to fix the problem within 30 to 40 minutes. The price was reasonable.

Sam is awesome. Great experience both times we have used them. They are not going to just sell you something. They're going to give you the options, what they can do and leave it up to you. They'll do as much or as little work as you want them to do.

Pete came to our home to work on hooking up plumbing in our kitchen. We had new countertops installed during the weekend and after a failed attempt of doing it ourselves, we reached out to Ernie's Plumbing Service. We needed immediate attention since it was Halloween and our friends were coming over. Pete worked quickly and gave us options with our garbage disposal. We thought we would need a new faucet since we tightened it to tight causing a hole, but Pete found no issues. When he was done, he asked if we had any other plumbing issues...I told him about our kids' toilet. We've had another plumber fix it, but we were still having issues. It took him a few minutes and the toilet has been flushing fine since.We will definitely reach out to Ernie's Plumbing next time we have plumbing issues. Too long of a story. Will just say next time we need a plumber, we will reach out to get estimates from more reasonably priced plumbers. Also, I would encourage whoever is responding to these reviews for Earnie’s take a more customer friendly approach and less “snarky “ attitude when responding to the Jess than favorable reviews.

Glad I had a recommendation for Ernie's plumbing from my daughter, they sent someone right over. He was professional and resolved the issue quickly. I recommend them.

I need a plumber and was looking 2 use this service but after reading the good awesome reviews, i also read the bad reviews. If the customer service politeness was involved with the great reviews as is the bad reviews i would have still called. Simply U can't make everyone happy, But seeing that who ever is replying back 2 these concerns don't care rather a customer comes back or even try 2 just apologize for the inconvenience, is sad... I rather have good customer service instead of a mouth of someone that's behind a computer responding back...

I received an estimate for a job that as a licensed general contractor I know for a fact was false and misleading. I don't know how three estimates come in at an average if $750.00 and I received an estimate from your company for$6,180.00 because they need to run a 1 gas line to supply a grill that would run off of a 3/8 gas line.

I called Ernie's for an outside faucet issue and they sent Thomas (#565). He replaced the faucet. One week later, I found seepage around a toilet; I asked for Thomas.I know plumbing work can be expensive but for these 2 times, I felt the price was reasonable. Should I need plumbing work in the future, I will ask for Thomas.

Collected the money and never finished the inspection. Now I have another leak that formed the same day as payment, they want more to fix the leak 3 feet over in the hole they never filled than the first, and because they didn't finish their job, no one else can due to the open permit. Ernie's is a bunch of crooks.

Terry R came out to clear washer stoppage,one attempt was made.Said that there is mud that means the P-trap is washed out .gave me an est.of 1675.00 to replace P-trap.then charge me 198.00 for a 2 minute attempt.I think that was wrong an attempt should have been less than a full payment.Will not use this person again.Thanks for nothing.

Mark Lantz #581 was fabulous. He came within the time he said he was coming, listened carefully to our problem, and went to work troubleshooting. He found the problem within minutes. Luckily for us, the problem didn't require replacing anything, so the service call was free and we once again have full pressure on all our faucets. Mark was very professional and courteous. I would use your service again without hesitation.

The office scheduler called before the technician arrived with their name and when they were supposed to be here. Michael, #410, showed up precisely on time, explained the problem, the parts he intended to use, and the process he intended to use to repair the problem. Approximately 1 hour later the job was complete-excellent work.

Let me tell you about Thomas. He explained everything in detail. And if I didn't seem to get it he went over it again. We have a older home which meant going up on the roof. But Thomas drew me a picture of my remodeled area and what they didn't do. Very professional and very helpful for older people. I thank him for being honest with me and taking his time to do it right.

I am very impressed with the service. Even though I had called to schedule a repair for the following day, they called me that a service tech is able to come and repair my problem on the same day I called. Wow!! Prior to calling Ernie’s plumbing, I had called 2 other plumbing company. 1 never called me back and the other called me 3 hours later.So Thomas # 565 (service tech) showed up on time and fixed the issue in no time and he was very courteous. Asked for camera inspection on a house was purchasing. Asked how much was told free because we was referred. And was told estimate is free but if any work done would be a fee .tech. pulled up on street fussing with realitor about instructions for house then walk to me and my husband asking who going to pay I then said we was told it was free but if something was wrong we be giving an estimate for repair he lol then said I dont do anything for free laughing still I then got upset told him the person answering phone told me it was free he constantly saying my camera was8000.00 I dont do it for free I can give you estimate for free but no cameera. I told him this faud advertising he then said so do you want estimate or not I told him to leave he sat in van on phone who knows what other keys he told his boss. I will never use them for anything

Edit: apparently Ernie has decided on a new business plan. I had them out to look at a leak under the house. I basically just stayed home for the plumber to say hi, that will be $235 for an estimate with no action whatever!. I don't mind paying a reasonable estimate fee for a 30 minute look, but not $235, but they could have advised me of that huge cost before I took off work. I have to assume that Ernie has jacked up his price for services as well. Too bad, they are no longer my go too plumber. Not sure it's a great move on their part, but I do not begrudge them whatever they want. Not for me though. ORIGINAL--Ernie's has always been willing to go the extra mile. They do not balk at my old house with its old fixtures and the price is always reasonable. I hesitate a bit to give 5 stars only because the last time there was a big mess left at my home. When I called the office, the plumber came right back out and made everything right. So 5 stars. They also come right out when needed. I just like them for all my plumbing needs. This really is my go to plumber.

Ernie's driver, in van #156 nearly collided with me on highway 20 in Arlington on Mar 23rd at approx 8:30 am. he was driving recklessly. apparently in a hurry to be somewhere. I sent Ernie's a message and have not received a response. I will assume ernie approves of his employees bad driving habits.

My garbage disposal had died about a month ago. Your employee #568 came to my house, gave me the estimate and then went to get the garbage disposal and returned to replace my ancient one with a new one. He explained everything to me and worked to replace the disposal and then checked to make sure it worked probably. Thank you for the fine employees who come, get the job done and are friendly.

Terry and Lee were very professional and informative about my tankless water heater issues. Terry gave detailed information regarding the issue and possible resolutions. 10/10 would definitely recommend

We loved Bernie's but they stopped coming to Plano. Booo!

After a year of on and off effort to get someone to replace a dripping exterior hose spigot, I Yelped plumbers on a Saturday at lunch, sent a couple more quote requests and waited.Two highly rated places never responded. Ernie's responded in about 20 minutes and was sorry they couldn't send someone out that day. They called back about an hour later and said they'd had a cancellation and they actually could come out on Saturday, but I declined, as I had already left the house for the day. The office staff was courteous, professional and helpful in all my interactions.Monday, I received a heads up call about 30 minutes before the technician's scheduled arrival. Travis showed up at the door, was polite and professional as he introduced himself. I showed him the problem, he said No problem, I can fix this. I received a written quote at what I felt was a fair price. About twenty minutes later, I had a new hose spigot.Thank you for responding to the original request for quote.Thank you for obviously developing and fostering a professional environment in your office. I spoke with Crystal twice and she was great.Thank you for hiring a competent and capable technician like Travis.In the event I need plumbing services in the future, I will call Ernie's, and I have no reservation about suggesting this company to my friends.

Austin and Greg did a great job! Austin was very clear about what needed to be done and answered all my questions. He was very thorough in diagnosing the problem, made reasonable adjustments to the plan once he found out more, and made great suggestions as to how to further improve my situation. He was great to work with, I'd definitely recommend the company and will continue to be their customer.

Called Ernie's after having gotten a couple of other quotes, and they were by far the best value! Robert came out was on time extremely professional and informative. He helped walk me thru the entire process as a new home owner. He was able to my slab leak and continually provided great service. Fred has been to our house twice recently for separate issues and is always professional and knowledgeable. He installed our hot water heater when the huge store we ordered it from couldn't install it for several days. Fred was there in just a couple of hours, and we taking our first hot showers an hour later. He did an excellent job.The second time was for a leaky bathtub. We decided to buy a new fixture rather than pay to fix the existing one. He was in and out quickly and was frank and honest about possible complications to the repair.We will *always* use Ernie's!

In the past we have had a good experience with Ernies Plumbing but the plumber they sent us today was a crook! We called them out to fix our shower handle because it would not turn our water off. Simple fix right? Well instead of actually assessing what needed to be done the plumber walked in and said it would be $390! Luckily we challenged him and asked him to actually look at the issue then he went down to $250. We said thanks but no thanks. Went to home depot go the part for $15 and my husband is just going to replace it himself. Such a waste of time. We won't be calling Ernie's again.Edit: I find that it’s rather pathetic that the business owner rather respond in an unprofessional manner and not actually address the concern, especially to customers who have used them in the past.To respond to your analogy when one goes to a restaurant they choose to pay those amounts ahead of time because they know even if they went to Kroger and bought a steak they can’t make it as good as the Chef. As a customer I don’t know what recipe they use or how long they cooked the steak or what they marinated it in. Going out to eat at a nice restaurant is a luxury not a need like being able to turn the shower on. All I know is my husband did your plumbers job for $15 in 15-30 mins and your plumber wanted to charge $250. Literally no skill was involved in this fix. But that’s fine I’m glad your top priority is being an unprofessional business owner and not actually seeing what your company can do to improve.

We had a pipe leak in foundation. Thomas and Justin came this morning and found the problem, didnt have to dig into any floors like the other 2 plumbing companies I had bids with suggested!! They solved the problem quickly!! I was so relieved!! I will definitely request this great team for any of my future issues and will spread to my friends and family!!

Joey #459 and his helper were very prompt and kept working at a difficult clog until they finally broke it up. Joey explained the problem and gave me prevention tips. They followed my instructions to not put my under sink shelving back so I could replace the shelf paper and I appreciated them listening to me. They swept the work area and left it clean.

When they quote, the price is good for a month. That's fair. I had them come back out nearly 6 months later to make sure it hadn't changed too much (I was ready to do it), they nearly doubled the price on me, made excuses for it and were a little rude in the process. General Manager Randy saw this and made it up to me with the original price, did not send out that 2nd plumber thank god. Thanks Randy!

Thomas #565 at Ernie's Plumbing is great! He came out and fixed a break in my sewer line 11 months ago, caused by tree roots. The price was competitive, but what the two things that set them apart was Thomas, in regards to his knowledge and experience, and the 1 year warranty. Boy am i glad I went with these guys, because here I am 2 weeks away from warranty expiration that tree pushed the pipe up again, Thomas came out and fixed it without question and free of charge. Some other plumbers I have had the displeasure of working with, not only do not offer a warranty for half as long as Ernie's, but would have found a reason not to cover the job even under warranty. I will be using them for all my plumbing needs and highly recommend others to do the same.

Your company rerouted three lines to fix a slab leak. Your employees Michael (#410) and Terry (#508) did an outstanding job over a period of 2 days. They were friendly, courteous and very neat in their work. They explained the job they were doing in a very clear manner. They checked their work and made certain everything they did was working to my satisfaction.

They did the work another company quoted for a third of the price.

Called to schedule an appointment for faucet leak. Got appt for same day between 1-5pm. At 4pm the representative calls says the plumber is running behind. Then calls me back 10 minutes later and says we no longer service your zipcode. They knew my zipcode that morning when they scheduled the appointment!! Complete waste of my day. Needless to say i will not recommend them anymore.

After a few days of trying to find the problem (turning off sprinkler valves) we finally realized that it must be a main line leak. I called Ernies because of the awesome work on the last visit. The work ethic was great and courteous, but the cost was the issue in my mind. The plumber evaluated the area and quoted 714$ to fix it. I questioned the seemingly elevated rate, but we were a week into a front yard swimming pool. He noted it was a flat rate, but that only helps the group of people that take longer to fix. In my case, 714$ for 1.5 hours of work is not reasonable; materials not included!Suggest revisiting the “flat rate” approach so you don’t loose the “easy” jobs due to cost.-Beau

No stars, the way they do business I guess is about how much they need to make up their losses at time of the visit. I had a scheduled appointment, no one bothered to call me after waiting 2 hours for serviceman. I called to be told that his Van was broke down on the side of the highway. Will not be recommending you all to anyone.

Called Ernie's Plumbing (on a Saturday) and they were able to get a technician out within the next few hours. Michael Castillo (M-40462) was the technician, he was able to diagnose the issue quickly. Monday morning Michael showed up on time and had the issue resolved quickly. Answered all my questions and was very confident in his work. I would have given one star, but I was so impressed with the quick response and the professionalism of the lady who called this morning to schedule a time. She offered me a morning appointment, but I have had bad luck with waiting all morning into the evening for repair people who never show, so I have got into the habit of always scheduling afternoon appointments. So, she scheduled me an appointment between 1-5 pm. I worked a half day, and took off work at noon, and was at home by 12:30 pm.By 4:30, I had not heard from anyone. So, I decided to call to see if the tech was on his way. The lady who answered the phone this time sounded less energetic than the morning lady. She told me that i missed the call at 2:45 pm, and I would need to reschedule. I told her that I did NOT miss the call. I've had my phone with me all day--even took it to the bathroom with me. My call-log does not show any calls after 12:00 noon--where I briefly told my daughter to get off the phone because I was expecting a call between 1-5. The lady assured me that the correct # was called and I was at fault for not answering my phone. She offered to reschedule me tomorrow morning for another 4-hr window. I declined.I am going with another plumbing service. I believe they might have ran over on a job or two and just decided to say that they called in order to make up the time. I am so disappointed, but I can't afford to keep taking off from work. This other plumbing service said they will call & text--so it sounds like they may be more accountable. We will see............................Response to Ernie: Thank you for responding. I was upset, yesterday. This other company not only called (and got through), but sent a text message with a picture of the tech and a link to follow his on-route to my house. Perhaps you may want to adopt that practice.I don't know why your call would not have came through. I have never had a problem with any other calls coming through. --and my call log on my phone shows no calls after noon until I called you all after 4:00. Ernie’s was able to send someone same-day, which mattered a lot to me. Both the dispatcher and the plumber were very friendly and polite. They actually came out earlier than they said they would. Never experienced that before! My issue was a pilot light on my water heater which I was trying to turn back on, but had been doing it wrong. It may seem like a laughably simple thing to call a plumber for, but Craig was patient and nice, showed me how to do it, and didn’t make me feel dumb at all. That level of customer service really makes a difference. I’ll be trusting them with any plumbing issues I have in the future.

This was new territory for me. Atmos tested my gas meter and said I had a leak. Fred walked me through the process for correcting the problem -- and it's a complicated process. Fred is a craftsman of the old school. Knowledgeable and hard-working. I have 100% confidence in his ability to fix any plumbing problem. A true pro.

I made an appointment the for last weekend. I was told I would get a confirmation call the day before. I did not. The next day which was last saturday, I called at about 2 and was told that they could not make the appointment due to an emergency. I was told this week ( sat 10 7 ) i would be a priority and would not be cancelled. I was told I would be getting a confirmation call. At 326 pm I called as was told they tried to call the day before and twice today ..my cell phone shows no incoming calls. The girl on the phone offered nothing ...I was lied to twice and I do not believe the dispatch. She would not offer a manager or get anyone out. This company is not reliable or customer oriented. They could care less that I was put out two saturdays in a row.

I had a leaky faucet even though the water was turned off at the meter outside. Your plumber came out within 30 minutes and was able to replace my faucet (the original reason I was working on the darn thing), and got me back up and running! Now I can brush my teeth in the bathroom again thank goodness! Awesome job. Wish I remembered the plumber's name... He was fantastic!!!

Ernie's has been our go-to since we first had a need in our home (built in 1986), and we have always received courteous, respectful service.Their plumbers are straight-forward with what to expect and efficient at getting the work done, leaving no mess behind.Recently we had to replace both water heaters at the same time and they shared options with us.We chose to replace them with insulated units and our electric bill made an immediate change downward.I am glad we found Ernie's, and pleased that they do the job right on the first visit.

I would highly recommend Ernies Plumbing and always do when anyone asks us. I have called them for numerous types of plumbing issues over the years from broken sewer pipes, faucet fix’s, plugged pipes, shower stem replacement. More than anything else is I trust they will do a great job with no issues. They are reasonable and upfront with their prices. They are able to come normally on the day I call or if not the day after. Their staff is professional and answers any question I might have. I feel fortunate to have found such a trustworthy company to take care of our plumbing needs and stand behind their repairs.

Mike (employee # 410) is professional, polite, experienced, and competent. He not only cleared my clogged drain line, but showed me what it looked like on the camera, and answered all my questions. For the record, I did not call Ernie's Plumbing first. That was a mistake. The first company I had out told me my sewer line was broken, and gave me a $7,500 quote to jackhammer my driveway and tunnel underneath my house. Needless to say, next time I will call Ernie's first!

My family had our entire house re-plumbed by Terry (emp #568) and Mike (emp # 410). We encountered one minor difficulty upon completion (discovered a small leak about 4 days after completion) and it was fixed within one day of being reported. My parents had a leak and called Ernie's Plumbing. They were charged $350 just to pump out some water that took 5 minutes (or less) to pump out. In addition, they were charged $650 to fix a piece of line that was leaking. They are senior citizens, that seems like a LOT of money for the work that was done, they were in shock, they needed water so they paid it! I am fuming because had I been able to be present, I would not have allowed this to happen. They are not and I am not happy with the cost of the service.

I have to say, that after calling out one plumbing contractor who, in addition to having a bad attitude about performing the service, wasn’t equipped to perform for the call, as well as two other contractors that shot us maximum quotes over the phone without coming out to assess the issues, Carl with Ernie’s came out to assess the call free of charge. Carl by far exceeded our expectations. He called to confirm the appointment half an hour prior to arrival. Upon arrival, he was courteous, explained everything up front, and had the drain line cleaned out and had us back on line in less than an hour. If you are looking for a plumbing contractor that is professional, on time, and more than reasonable in price, call Ernie’s and request Carl for your residential service needs. We called for a non-emergency, general maintenance appointment, to take care of a few plumbing issues around the house. We received an appointment within a reasonable time, with a follow up call to let us know they plumbers were on the way. Terry and his apprentice were on time and talked with us to determine the nature of the problems, then set to work. One fella worked and fixed one thing, while I talked with the other guy about the next thing. They were friendly and efficient and all our plumbing problems are solved for a reasonable price. Once again Ernie's to the rescue. I knew I had a leak when I notice my water bill going up every month. I walked the yard, and even replaced the flapper in the toilet, but it didn't solve the problem, I called Ernie's. I was given an arrival time and the team arrive on time, did a process of elimination test and low and behold, they located the leak, quoted me a price , start time and finish time.This is the second time I have used this company. The price was right, but most importantly the customer service is exceptional. Thank you Terry and Lee. Well done. The ladies who answered the phones were great as well.

What a terrible place. I took off the whole day to wait for a tech to show up between 1 and 5pm. I get a call at 3:30 stating sorry he cant make it he is on another job. We will have to reschedule. Let me be the first to say thats a great way to turn down business and piss people off. Unacceptable!!!

The Russell brothers did a wonderful job of replacing a drain line under a pier and beam house. It was a nasty, dirty and wet job which they did with a good attitude after coming from another job which sounded to be about the same conditions. I will definitely use Ernie's again and recommend you to my friends. If I need more work I would hope that the Russell brothers are the ones who respond.

Had appointment scheduled for Friday AM but they had a cancellation Thursday afternoon. They asked if someone could be out here in about 30 minutes. David arrived promptly on time and proceeded to look at my toilet problem and give me an estimate. It was extremely reasonable so he started work and finished within a half an hour. Extremely pleased with the work and professionalism.

ABC plumbing provide excellent service. Shawn, The plumbing technician, did an Excellent job in repairing my toilet and the water shut off valve to the toilet. He had friendly and courteous Attitude and explain the details of the repair. Job well done.

Michael (#410) arrived early (but with adequate notice) and immediately went to work. He diagnosed the toilet problem, wrote a very reasonable estimate, explained any limitations to the finished work and then went to work on the problem. My toilet issue was finished very fast, but accurately and cleanly, including preventive steps in case anything unusual happens in the near future. I appreciate the concern, skill and professionalism shown by Michael and the Ernie's Plumbing staff!

The kitchen sink needed service and we have used Ernie's before. I called and got a quick scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be home when the tech was ready and missed the appointment. I called and there had been a cancellation. Thomas Johnson showed up and was friendly, polite and professional. He gave me a quote and showed up the next morning right on time. He worked hard and took care of the problem. The price was as quoted and the service was excellent. I will use Ernie's again when I need a plumber.

Repair was a leak from our drain with our bathroom faucet. Repair person arrived promptly and completed the repair work in about 30 minutes. My only complaint was the $175.00 charge for the work. They did reduce the bill $25.00 for a senior discount which lowered the price to $150.00. Even with the $190.00 quoted hourly rate charge the billed amount should have been less than $100.00. Probably want use or recommend them in the future.

Had a toilet issue and called for a free estimate. Scheduled for the next day, but they actually ended up calling back and coming the same day. Chuck was extra thorough and helpful with the estimate. He was super personable and great at explaining what my costs would be and why. Fantastic work and great customer service will keep me coming back.

Martin examined the issues quickly of what appeared initially to be a trash compactor or dishwasher leak under the sink. Neither. Diagnosed as a a small loose nut/washer in the faucet handle with a slow leak. Now considering replacing faucet.

Would give zero stars if possible. I had a clogged kitchen sink drain. They wouldn't even give me ballpark estimate on the phone. I waited almost 8 hours for them to show up and then the guy quoted me $450 dollars to snake a drain clog. Said it was because he had to get the tools out of the truck. (Hello yeah you need tools, so it was obvious he didn't want to do the job) I told him no way and asked him to leave. Called another company who arrived in under 30 minutes and cleared the clogged drain in less than 10 minutes for 1/4th of Ernie's quote. AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs!I will tell everyone I know to NEVER call this company... complete ripoff! Sad thing is one of their plumbers lives in my neighborhood which is why I called them to begin with.

Called and schedule a time frame, which was quick and easy. Our plumber, Carl, was punctual and courteous. He is super polite and respectful, does things methodically, easily diagnosed the issue and fixed it. Would highly recommend asking for Carl, you will not regret it.

Terry and Lee were at our house before 8 this morning to fix the sewer problem. They were very polite and let us know what they were doing. We highly recommend Ernies and the crew.

I had a leak behind my toilet. Ernie’s told me I needed to have the whole toilet replaced. It took 2 days for them to get here with a replacement.just 4 days later I had an even bigger leak behind the new toilet. Ernie’s did not consider this an emergency and said they would send someone out tomorrow. Maybe that would be ok if I had 2 bathrooms. But I only have 1 bathroom and am recovering from surgery so I can’t reach the shutoff. When I called back and said my flooding bathroom was an emergency, they decided they could send someone out some time this afternoon. They unnecessarily replaced my toilet for $500+ and did not properly install the new toilet. They were less than responsive when their shoddy workmanship failed 4 days later.

Fred, employee # 306, was very professional and skilled, he repaired the leak with minimal damage to our wall board (had to re-route pipes) and he obtained and installed our new water heater perfectly. After dealing with many different plumbing companies Ernie's Plumbing is a company we found we can trust and count on, it is the only Plumbing company we will use.

Gary #483 was very efficient. He found the leak and fixed it for what he had estimated that it would cost just to find the leak. Randy in the office was extremely helpful in getting us the information we needed to get the insurance company to pay for the repair. We will definitely be using Ernie's Plumbing for any plumbing needs we have in the future and have already recommended them to several other people.

Sam was very professional and methodical, finding our broken pressure relief valve, fixing it and putting in the expansion tank. They were very good about being on time too, which I know is hard to do. Anyway, they were very patient with me and this fixed my hammering pipes problem!

I needed a bathtub three-handle faucet replaced, and tried Ernie's first. They performed a temporary fix and quoted nearly a thousand dollars to replace the faucet. Next was Williams, who were even scammier. Finally we got Tom's and they did the replacement for $260.

So glad my husband doesn’t work here anymore. I feel bad for anyone who still work there, they’re obviously too stupid to see they deserve better than being charged for their own parts, getting screamed at by a master plumber who thinks he’s better than everyone, and suspended for days because they’re sick with a doctors note.Edit, for reply from owner: I don’t see how my other reviews have anything to do with you. I am very disappointed in my recent experience with Ernie's plumbing. I have used them in the past and called again when I had a much more serious problem. I had an appointment window after 9am and in anticipation of their arrival, I was dressing and did not hear the phone ring. Since I didn't return the call within 5 minutes, I returned the call in 8 minutes my appointment is forfeited. I have a sewer drainage issue so I cannot prolong attention to this type of situation. I am now forced to find another plumbing company to come out and quote the work.

I have used Ernie’s Plumbing since 2012. Over the years, we’ve had several plumbing failures from leaky faucets and grease clogs to mainline and slab leaks. I am usually able to get service within 0-2 days of my call. All the plumbers have been courteous, knowledgeable, and successfully resolved my problem, however the one that stands out and therefore the one I most often request is Fred. Fred(306) is great at detecting the root cause. He’s like a good doctor. If you explain all the symptoms, he has a pretty good idea what the problem is and knows the best and most cost efficient way to fix it. He (and Quintin) always do a great job. Plumbing work is expensive and I appreciate that Fred ensures that I’m aware of special offerings that could help reduce my bill. I’ve been very satisfied with Ernies Plumbing.

I knew that the sink cartridge needed to be replaced so I purchased the cartridge for the bathroom sink. All they had to do was replace the cartridge and it took about 5 minutes. They charge me $150 for 5 minutes of work...RIDICULOUS

I’ve found my plumber in Tommy and Quention. I will never use anyone else again as long as Tommy works for Ernies. First rate plumber and guy and very honest. Look forward to using Tommy in the future.

Bryan and Carl were excellent. It was freezing on the day they came out, but they were just pleasantly doing their job. I had different company tell me they have to do some work and charge me for that before they could give me a quote on the actual leak. But Bryan spent over 2 hours finding the leak and then gave me a bid. He did not charge me for the diagnosis of the problem.Bryan and Carl returned a week later and spent 3 days digging under my house and fixing my leak. They also did a few other things. They were early every day and were very professional. Even though the Cost was over $4000.00, I believe they gave me more value for my money. I will definitely use Ernies again.Also the office called ahead before they arrived and did follow up to see if I was happy and had all my concerns met. Great Customer Service. Terry R., employee#568 came to my house this morning to hook up the water heater vent that was disconnected apparently by roofers when installing the roof on my house. He gave me an estimate before starting the work and explained there was an additional charge for going into the attic or under the house. He explained in detail what he was going to do before starting any work and quoted me a price which I agreed to. He completed the work satisfactorily, did an excellent job, very personable and was on time. I am very pleased and would recommend your company.

I was told I'd get a free estimate. They arrive and tell me it's $250 to stick the camera in the pipe to find the problem. I don't know how you can tell me that is a free estimate when they can't diagnose the problem without putting the camera in the line.EDIT: As stated in my email the problem is 2 feet down the clean out. I informed the plumber too.For $250 I can purchase a camera for the sewer line. Even the most expensive sewer cameras would have an ROI 24 uses at that crazy rate.I've talked to other plumbers that deduct the camera cost if they get the job and others that charge less than that for camera and cleaning out the pipe.

Outrageous price!!!! Charged me 175 to put a washer in my shut off valve behind refrigerator which took all of 10 minutes. Than when I asked tech for estimates to replace shut off for bathroom sink and behind toilet he quoted 350 and 250. So to have 3 shut off valves changed in my home ernies's plumbing wanted to charge me SEVEN HUNDRED and SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS. IN my opinion that is highway robbery.

Timely and friendly, but the estimate for service was a total rip off.$607 to replace four bathroom faucet cartridges which was about a 45 minute job? You have got to be kidding me. I bought the cartridges for $54.23 and found an independent plumber to do the job for $50. Total of $104.23 versus $607

Think twice before you hired them! Wanted to Improve the Water Pressure in My Shower and replacing few items. He said we have cut the wall and replace pipes so water flows will be better with just under $1000.00. I googled it up than I removed the restrictor, nice water flow. How can you trust???

Thomas (employee #565) knew exactly what my problem was and was able to fix the leak in my shower. He told me it would be like new when he finished and it is. Being a widow I am so glad he was able to fix the problem in no time. Called Ernie's plumbing out for a written estimate for my shower that is leaking. The guys were here maybe a total of 5 mins. Most of that time was back and forth about them not giving written estimates. His words were I can't give a written estimate. I told him I needed it finally he went and brought me one that said SHOWER PAN. In two minutes of looking that was the diagnosis. No test was ran at all..Update- I received a call from the manager Randy and he was concerned about what happened. I called this morning and spoke with Randy about the situation and he was very courteous and apologetic on the phone. He asked if he could send a different guy out. Hesitant but I agreed for a second chance. He said he would be sending a different plumber, Craig, between 11-3 today.Craig shows up and actually took the time, did multiple test to see exactly what was causing the leak. Once the cause for the leak was determined, he took the time to explain where it was coming from. Also, answered any and all questions I had. He filled out and provided a written estimate for exactly what needed to be done and what the cost would be.Extremely happy that I gave them a second chance to come back out.

The service person was personable. I had to have a shower adapter changed and the cost was hefty. He had to get the part and the tool and also took down my showerhead and hose. After replacing the part - he failed to set the temperature and upon turning on the shower at the middle the water was scalding hot. Also, he took down my showerhead and hose and told me they needed to be replaced because they were clogged and left the hose in the sink and head on the counter. Came to find out that that neither the head or the hose is clogged and had to put them back on myself and clean up the bathroom.

Called Ernie's plumbing. They came out same day as called. Micheal was the plumber. He accessed the problem & told me that they would have to use backhoe & tunnel under home, plus jackhammer inside home down to problem pipe. Estimated close to $8000 for the job & charged $220 for that day service. He told me to get other estimates but they would be very close to his. I did just that & got another plumber to do the work for $6500 less with pipe replaced & fixed. Ernie's apparantly pays its plumbers on commissions so if you call them watch for the up sell to your project. It might not need all they are trying to sell you.

Excellent experience from the first call, to dispatcher to service tech. A/C drain pipe issue on a 100 degree day with 80 degree inside. Michael arrived in about an hour and had the matter fixed in a few hours before the circumstances escalated.Appreciated the honest assessment/explanation, transparent price up front, friendly service and extra care to not make a mess or cause damage.They are now our plumber of choice and would highly recommend. Curtis Jackson came to our house about 3 weeks ago because the kitchen sink was stopped up. It was affecting the kitchen and the laundry room. He worked on the problem for about 30 minutes using the snake machines. He then called me outside and told me that I he was not able to solve the problem because I had a broken pipe under the house in the slab. He said that he could schedule for the camera to be brought out which would cost several hundred dollars. He charged me $167.00 and wrote on my receipt No Warranty. He also wrote his recommendations on my receipt. I have since called another company and they found no broken pipes and the clog was fixed in about 30 minutes. I also asked if Terry was still working for the company because he is the service man who has been to our house the past 2 service visits. He told me that Terry was no longer with Ernie's. I noticed on the reviews that within the past week Terry has had some wonderful compliments on his service. I feel that our drain issue would have been resolved if Terry had been sent to our home. Very disappointed with this visit.

Ernie's Plumbing company is so efficient from my call it took them less than 30 minutes to schedule and the technicians to get to my house. They are very professional and up to the task. Chuck and Quinton were very nice and very professional. Identified my issue in less than 35 minutes. I will recommend anyone to use them. Other plumbers give you a 7hrs to 24 hrs before they show up. What about if its a serious leak ? Thank you Ernie's Plumbing. I highly recommend.

Excellent, courteous, and on time service. The service tech Pete was very knowledgeable about tank-less water heaters and took the time to thoroughly explain what was needed to fix the problem and gave us some helpful plumbing information we were not aware of . While the quote I was given was a little higher in price when compared to another company's quote, I was overall very pleased with the service and will use this company in the future for any plumbing needs.

Used Ernie's to come out and snake our drain lines here in Grand Prairie. During the snaking process, there was some accidental damage only found when the later warranty plumber opened up the wall. However, in speaking with Ernie's after that regarding what happened, they sent the guy back out and he made things right. Great example of integrity and doing right by the customer!

What can I say about this company… integrity is paramount. First technician, amazing job on my hot water tank, honest and straightforward service as well as estimate. Not one dollar over what they quoted me.I had a toilet replaced but the tech made an HONEST mistake and dropped the lid from the old tank into my sink and broke it. They have done everything that is humanly possible to assist with their mistake. They took ownership and provided exceptionally personal levels of service. They don’t fix marble under mounting but they cut me a check as soon as I had an estimate and a date scheduled and Randy hand-delivered the check from Arlington.They could have been like fix it and here you go but they showed character and sincerity owning their mistake.I will always call them first because of their personal level of service and integrity.Trust is EVERYTHING! Very polite and professional. The plumber even came by on a Saturday, which was his day off to see how we were doing. Because he finished his work late Friday and it would be Monday before we would get our natural gas service back on. This showed me he not only cared about his job but the customer he serviced.

Yes they do the job ok, but you have to deal with the high-cost.The work take about 3 hrs to replace water pipe line 10 ft long underground cost me $616 . Just one man take time and finish it to the end.

He didn't talk down to me, didn't use jargon i didn't understand, and was very honest about the repair. I chose Ernie's for several reasons, but the most important was Thomas, his honesty and respect for the company he works for.When they came out to complete the repair, it was done quickly, all steps were explained to me and I was shown the repair as well as the damaged line. I needed to have my bathroom sink fixtures replaced, and called Ernie’s to do the job. They sent Austin to do the work and he did an awesome job! The bathroom fixtures look beautiful. He went above and beyond by going to Lowe’s to get a couple of components that we were not aware was needed until he actually did some investigating. As it turned out, one of the components was defective, and he had to go back to Lowe’s to exchange it. His work is really top rate, and I plan to request him to do a few other projects in the future.

Sam and Cameron went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us. Not only are they amazing at what they do, they are kind and genuine men. From taking extra time in their schedule to make sure we were accommodated, to explaining exactly what every issue was so we were 100% on the same page.. we could not have asked for a better experience. Very unprofessional service, simple replacement of kitchen faucet with new faucet provided by customer. Very uncomfortable with technician in my home, acting sporadic wouldn't stop talking and overcharged for replacement. Basically tried to hustle me to replace faucet. I have always had great service from Ernie's Plumbing. I had that same great service again today. Michael #410 went above and beyond today to fix my kitchen faucet. It needed to be replaced and Michael was able to get a replacement faucet and install the new one quickly and efficiently right before the busy holidays. Michael was very professional and courteous and exemplifies what it means to have excellent customer service. There is a reason I always call Ernie's Plumbing when something needs to be fixed and that is they do it right the first time and have great technicians.

I had a Yard leak & called a half dozen companies in the Arlington area to come take a look & give me an estimate. Byran & Carl arrived & proceeded to actually do some diagnosis on where the leak was actually coming from to before giving me an estimate. Bryan isolated the problem & gave me a quote of $650. After receiving quotes of over $2,000+ for work I did NOT need, I will be calling Ernie's for my next job. Bryan is a skilled tradesman & builds custom motorcycles. He is a master skilled technician & the work was beautiful. Carl has a great teacher! Thanks guys!

I couldn't be happier with the last project Ernie's did for me! Ernie's has been my go to plumber for several years because they do great work. On June 10th, 2016 Michael and Terry put in a new toilet in my guest bathroom and a new sink, garbage disposer, and faucet in my kitchen. They also checked all the inside and outside pipes for any blockage issues. They did find an additional issue in my outside pipe that they were also able to complete for me that day. The price was right (they made sure they applied every discount they could) and the toilet and kitchen sink/faucet/disposer look and operate great. Michael and Terry were very professional, and Michael took the time to explain every detail prior to starting any work. Even during the estimate Michael gave me some great advice to help me choose the best toilet and sink for my situation. Ernie's will continue to be my go to plumber for future projects.

Five Stars for Chas our plumber. Our aircondioner condensation pipe was backing into the overflow pan and the AC folks couldn't clean it out and suggested we call a plumber. Having had excellent service in the past with Ernie's we called and Chas arrived at 5:00pm to assess the problem. After 31 years of service new pipe was to be installed and designed to flow better than our past pipe.We had plans to leave on a trip the next day and Chas assured us he could return the next morning at 8:30 am and have the job completed in two hours. True to his word, he was not only prompt, but completed the job in the time he promised. We would love to have Chas return if ever we need plumbing repairs in the future.

Had a water leak under my Foundation plus I had a 12 year old water heater. Two weeks ago Terry advised me to contact Pfister for a defective 6 year old faucet that they would replace free of charge. They did so and shipped one to me free. Also advised me o order stainless steel rather than chrome. I had no clue until Terry made the suggestions.Terry came today to install the newly replaced faucet. I've used Ernie's plumbing for years. I haven't needed their help for awhile, but when I got a stopped up toilet, I appreciated that #410 checked everything in order to determine exactly what the problem was. Not just a quick snake it and be gone.

We’ve used Ernie’s service four times now, once for an emergency. We’ve worked with both Pete and Michael and they’ve always been incredibly professional, courteous, and thorough. I’m not entirely sure they beat out absolutely everyone on price, but they’re worth a premium and they offer discounts to repeat business.Ernie’s is the only number on my fridge.

I called this week and Ernie's was here within an hour; however, could not determine the leak and wanted to charge $3800 for diagnostic testing, plus whatever problem turned out to be. Called another plumber who determined what problem was (don't know about testing) and the total cost was $2500. Big difference!

Service tech Sam, ID #600, recently unclogged drains in two bathroom sinks. True to Ernie's policy, Sam made his courtesy call to me about 30 minutes prior to arriving. He took his shoes off prior to coming into the house. At all times, Sam was very professional and knowledgeable about plumbing issues. Also, he was very personable. The service call took less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Ernie's Plumbing and I will request Sam for any future plumbing needs.

I scheduled an appointment on Thursday for anappointment on Friday. I was given an arrival window of 2-4 on Friday. I had to call around 3 just to confirm that the appointment was still valid. It is now 5:30 pm and still no show. I took off of work early , drove from Plano to South Arlington to be at home. 5:35 pm and I get a call and they asked if they could reschedule for Monday. Absolutely not!

We had called mike for the same problem for years, our sink would back up about every 6 months or so and he kept telling me that the pipes may be rotting and I did not listen. Craig came out to my house and replaced the whole drain in my bathtub. Choice Home Warranty wouldn't touch it.....to much of a liability they said due to the material the tub was made out of. Needless, to say I canceled my contract with them and Craig fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. Craig is a true professional in his trade, I will ask for him everytime I have a plumbing issue. He is awesome!

Called Ernie's with concern about a slow bathtub drain and possible cracked pipes due to snaking the line awhile back and getting something that looked like sand. David came out within 2 hours, evaluated the situation, checked/cleared the line and told us the line was fine! Excellent service and response time.

We called Ernie's this morning for a blocked kitchen sink drain, and David Meyer was at our house by 10:00. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was professional and courteous, gave us some tips on preventing this same issue from happening in the future, and cleaned up after he was done. I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink in the middle of the night, so I emailed Ernie's Plumbing. They called me at 8:00 a.m., and a plumber was here by 9:00. Terry diagnosed the problem and spent the rest of the morning fixing it. He was SO nice and efficient and thorough, explaining it all to me as he went along. He also replaced an outdoor faucet as a favor. I will always call Terry at Ernie's Plumbing.

Craig is amazing! He knows his job very well and likes his job also. It definitely shows in his work ethic and knowledge of the situation. We had 2 other estimates that quoted over $5000 said we had root damage. Craig showed me via camera that there was a piece of tile that the floor company got in the line when they replaced our floors. Had a gas leak from pipe in attic. Tommy Santer came out and gave me an estimate of $756. After he completed the work he said the bill was now $3000 but if I gave him a personal check for $800 I could put the original estimate on my charge card. Thought he had me over a barrel so I agreed. In hindsight I realized I had been had. Never again and I do not recommend their services.

Just a great experience once again with Ernie's. Had the main tie in/washer line with tree roots causing backup and looked at the replacing the old galvanized pipe for the washer. Both techs were professional, informative of what work would be done and what needed to be done. Ernie's is definitely my plumbing company

Christmas Eve morning and our kitchen sink refused to drain--at all! We had been working with it for several weeks using a snake, which helped temporarily, but obviously wasn't a fix. We spent 3 hours exhausting everything we knew to do and finally gave up. We decided to pay the price and call the plumber. I had little hope that we would be helped today, but was extremely delighted when the scheduler said that someone would be here within 35 minutes. Chuck showed up right on time, assessed the situation, got his equipment and in very little time at all had fixed the problem. We agreed if we'd known how reasonable it would be, we would have called 3 hours sooner and saved ourselves a lot of stress. Great company to work with and Chuck was very professional and courteous.

One of their techs came out to check a leaky shower faucet. He said i needed a new one and they can provide it (labor & material) for $1100-$1200. If i bought the faucet they will charge me around $700 for install. He didn't even come near the faucet when he was examining it. Said he had to tear a whole in the backside of the wall so he can do his work. Of course he said that I had to repair the wall at my own cost. Long story short.... I got a second opinion and he said it was just a bad valve that cost $10, and did a great job repairing it. Total Cost: $120 (including the part). This company is a joke.WAY OVERPRICED! DO NOT USE THEM. TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!!!!!This company preys on people who don't know any better. STAY AWAY! You can get the same job done for 80-90% less! If only i could give them a 0 rating on here.

Scheduled a day and time for someone to come look at our pipes and give a quote on pipe replacement. On the day of, we got no call, no email, no form of communication at all. And no one ever came! No call no follow up or anything. I would not recommend a place as unprofessional as this.

Woke up this morning with water gushing out of my yard. Called Ernie's and they were there in 30 minutes. Carl was able to quickly identify the leak location and repair. I had a toilet leaking through its wax seal. The shutoff valve spewed water instead of shutting anything off. Michael from Ernie's came and made it all right! He arrived early, didn't track in any rain (in spite of an ongoing storm outside). The price was very reasonable given the amount of work that was needed. I'll definitely call them again when I need a plumber!

After an initial issue with the first service, Ermie’s stepped up to the plate to fix the problem free of charge, even though it was after the warranty period. I respected then taking ownership and fixing the problem. They have made a loyal customer out of me!

Plummer said be back first thing in the morning . 10:00 I called to see when they would be back. I was told that the Technician will not be here between 1-5. FYI: Ernie's Plumbing was called due to having a slow drain to our washer. Chas Came to our house to clean out the sewer line, he told us that was not going to work. Gave an estimate of Job would be about 3,000- 4,800 . The following Saturday which is April 1, 2017 he scheduled to come out, he told us we were going to be his first service of the morning to have the jet and camera run through our sewer line.Initially he told us he was going to be here about two hours.He was gone from our house in about 45 minutes. He showed some pictures of what he found with the camera but as not knowing what we were exactly looking at, he started giving us verbal quotes. He gave us a new quote that was going to cost us $7,800- $11,000 to totally replace the sewer pipes. He didn't give us a new invoice. He just wrote on the invoice from the initial service, asked us to write another check for payment in full and gave us the first check from the initial visit, which he still had in his truck . Why was this guy carrying around our check for a week ???? Didn't make sense. We asked for a written estimate for the repairs needed, but we received only the one verbal quote. No written quote was ever given on this service call. He stated he would email them to us and asked for our e-mail address which he wrote down. The e-mail proposal was never received . We called the following Monday, April 3, the girl whom answered the phone at Ernie's stated they don't send proposals by email and would have to send someone else out to our home . Of course we were furious. We paid a good amount of money to receive honest service and our free written quote, as stated on their website. On April 17, I called Ernie's plumbing asked to speak to someone in charge. I was transferred to Randy spoke with him explaining my problem. Randy stated he wanted to speak with Chas to find out what was going on. I explained more on the situation he stated that he would refund our money for the troubles that we had gone through. On the same day we were suppose to receive a call never happened. We have been trying to call Randy and he's never there, he gas either called in or is not in the office, stated by the girl who answers the phone. Now again today, April 30, one month after our initial visit, we never heard back from Randy, never received the quote proposal we were promised, and still have not been refunded our money. We were happy with Ernie's plumbing from past services, but due to this very poor service, we will never use them again!!!!l . Of course next step BBB. BE aware future customers!!!

Despite making an appointment to disconnect and move a gas dryer to the garage for pick-up, when the plumber came to our home, he refused to move the dryer. Part of my request when scheduling a plumber was to move the dryer, so this refusal caused me to have to hire movers. On top of a pricey fee (nearly $ 200.00), I had to pay for both a plumber to disconnect and a mover! I would not have been upset had I been informed when I made the appointment.

Scott Reddick was our technician. I called Ernie's and Scott arrived quickly. I told Scott I would rather repair our hot water heater if possible. He quickly diagnosed the problem, informed me as to the needed parts to order from Rheem. Scott did not try to upsell me for a replacement hot water heater. I ordered the parts and the day I received them, I called and requested Scott for completion. He arrived that morning and completed the job promptly. Scott showed me the parts that he had replaced and assured me that our water heater was working as it should now. His service was professional, quick and very he was very courteous. The technician was not able to replace our water heater BUT he was patient and helpful while we figured out the best course of action going forward. He spoke with his superiors to be sure he was giving us the proper information and waited to speak with our softener system customer service to ensure they had the proper information going forward to get our system UP TO CODE (as it should have been). He never made us feel rushed and encouraged us to call if we need anymore help along the way. It was pleasant experience and I'm sure had He installed our heater we would have been properly installed. I would definitely recommend them to others for future plumbing services.

I noticed water pooling on one side of my driveway. I called a plumbing company and was given an estimate of $6300.00 for a re-route (even though the source of the leak had not been determined ). I called Ernie's Plumbing for a second opinion.Pete King came out and dug in the yard for 1.5 days looking for the leak. My house is older and plumbed incorrectly. I recently had a clogged toilet that caused linkage from upstairs bathroom, through my downstairs ceiling onto the floor. So basically I had backed up pipes that were leaking. So I called Ernies. It was a rather fast arrival and the employee unclogged my toilet within minutes. He was literally here for about 15 min. He used one tool to unclog it but didn't have to take the overall toilet apart... I was charged 105$ for a 15 min. Job....... I really feel like I was over charged.. I gave three stars for quick arrival and fixing the issue.REPLY TO OWNER: No need to be disrespectful and point out a minor error. I am sure you are familiar with customer service skills as well. Again, this was my opinion on the price I was charged, and again I still believe I was overcharged.

I just got ROBBED by Ernie's Plumbing Services. I had a small leak under the kitchen sink. The technician replaced 1 (only 1)valve for $285.00. I assume the labor cost is $215 per hour + parts. Do not utilize this company! Their service is GROSSLY overpriced!

We had a sewer line issue. Sam was our lead plumber. Long story short, we are building a pool. Had to get electrical buried. When they did this, they messed up our sewer drain and left our back yard a rutted up mess. Sam showed up, diagnosed problem, fixed problem, and when it was all said and done, they not only filled their trench, but filled the ruts in that the electrical contractor had made in our yard and leveled it out for us. Today was the second time Michael, employee 410 has been to our home. He is so polite and professional! Our washing machine was backing up and he attempted to clear the blockage behind the machine but ultimately had to get on the roof in this hot weather to fix the problem! Not once did he complain. He only wanted to make sure the issue was resolved before leaving. If I am able to, I would like to have Michael be the one assigned to future jobs at our home. Hopefully that will be a long time though, 😊 Thank you Michael!

Our outdoor faucet was leaking enough to raise the water level in our in-ground pool by 1/2 in 6 hours, discovered late Saturday. Though this was not an emergency, Ernie's scheduled our service appointment around my work hours on Monday. On Monday, Ernie's gave me 30 minutes heads-up for plumbers arrival. Within 25 minutes of Fred & Quintin showing up, they fixed the leak by replacing pipe and doing minor construction around the faucet area. Besides being personable and friendly, Fred explained what he quoted. During the job, he explained what he was doing. I am and was very happy with the end result, and I recommend Ernie's!!!

We contracted with Ernie's to install a tankless water heater in March of 2015. Chaz and Shawn seemed to be very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and chose to tie 2 water heaters together to be replaced by one tankless unit. After trying to get used to the resulting awkward arrangement for nearly 3 years, I find it unliveable in its present state. The result has been that we often have to go out into the garage and turn a pump on manually to take a shower at a time of day when the pump is not running. This is a very bad situation when it is 16° outside, and only slightly warmer in the garage. I have tried several times to contact the owner, leaving info about the situation in my msg. I have never received a return call. Perhaps this complaint will yield a contact back, as my next step will be to file a complaint with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.Edited to add: Ernie’s Plumbing finally did call back. Their most experienced master plumber came out and fixed the water heater system- a simple fix that required about 10 minutes to accomplish. Water heater now functions as we had originally expected it to. Upgraded my review rating to 2. I feel that the boss in the office should promptly respond to a customer’s complaint and in this case, he did not. If this treatment does not bother you, then you will be pleased with Ernie’s.

What a great experience! Teams led by Terry(568), Mike(410), and the digging team were at all times courteous and professional. Each team explained their tasks and them performed them as indicated.

I called two of the most advertised plumbing companies on TV to get an estimate on replacing 3 outdoor hose bibs. They would only give an estimate if a technician came out - $49 for one & $79 for the other. Decided to call Ernie's based on an Angie's List recommendation and not only did they come out to do a free estimate, but Pete was here in less than 1/2 hour. Pete is a very professional plumber who was courteous throughout the process. He listened to what I was trying to achieve and offered several options which worked perfectly. I highly recommend Ernie's as your first call! Thank you for tremendous customer service and for Pete!

Martin, employee #581, first visited me to provide an assessment to repair or replace my water heater. I needed to save money to pay for the work which commenced after a second estimate. I live in an old house (built 1949). My house was once an extensively gas supplied home. Over the years, several devices aged and were replaced with electric. This past winter my stove developed a serious leak. Besides the stove I had a water heater, and gas furnace. I was panicked that I had to make the whole house electric (justified after I saw the bill to provide electric service to a stove and water heater alone). Martin came to my home the second time to install an electric water heater. He inspected my system and recommended to repair my gas. It would save money two ways: 1) conversion was VERY expensive and 2) gas saves in the long run versus electricity. My house is pier and beam so the gas pipes were located in the (cramped) crawl space under my floor. Martin made a herculean effort to reach the system and make repairs. He didn't just fix the system, he improved it by making it safe, more efficient AND less expensive (he ALSO fixed the connection to my gas heater)! He demonstrated intelligence as well as creativity. IMHO he is an artistic plumber. Awarding 5-star service is not enough to describe how pleased I am with his work.

All I have is good things to say about Michael #410 and this company. This was by far the best plumbing experience I've ever had. I had a water line leak from my meter to my home under ground. I was terrified that I would get the usual you do from most companies (she clearly knows nothing so lets tell her the most expensive way to repair this) BUT Micheal very honestly found the issue and replaced the parts I needed. I have dealt with another company my entire adult life and have paid $900 just for them to weld a pipe together leaving me with a GIANT hole in my wall and a giant mess in my floor. Michael, had to dig repair and then put it all back and did it all with a great attitude and a smile on his face the entire time. I also feel the price was fair and was even given the option to think about it for 30 days, which opens the door for me to get as many estimates as possible and they charge NOTHING for that estimate and no hidden trip charge fees. I will never use another company again!!To Michael, keep that positive and happy personality. It's nice to know people like you are still out there......oh and thank you for informing me of my table delivery, I obviously need to get my doorbell fixed lol...God Bless

Long but good. Back in October we had a leak that destroyed almost our entire downstairs flooring. We called an emergency plumber to come out and fix the leak, which he did. He also told us that we had another leak somewhere because the meter was running even when everything was closed up and turned off. When we were ready to have them come back out and test the line for the location of the leak and give us an estimate on what it would cost to fix it, they never answered their phone or returned my calls. This went on for 2 weeks. Enter Ernie's Plumbing. I called and made an appointment and Mike came out to give us an estimate on fixing a toilet and to let us know what he would recommend we do about this illusive leak. He fixed the toilet with ease and sold me a PMA which I will definitely be using in the future. He left and we went on vacation, happy not to have to deal with this issue for a while. I scheduled the follow up appointment and Mike was at our house on Monday morning ready to give the estimate for what the leak detection and repair would cost. Meanwhile, my husband was explaining to me exactly what was going on and he took me out to the meter outside and showed me what was happening. I was supposed to see a slowly turning meter because everything was closed in the house and no water was running. What we actually saw was the meter not turning at all. Mike had us turn the bathtub hot water on for a few minutes. The meter began running. When the water was turned off, the meter stopped running indicating that there was no leak. We apparently were told some very wrong information from the previous plumber and worried about this issue for far too long. Either way, Mike left us with an estimate for detection and repair and I promised to check the water bill this month to see what was going on. It appears we do not have a leak anywhere but if we did, Mike was there to fix it. He is officially in our contacts as our plumber and I will never call anyone else. He is knowledgeable and kind and whatever plumbing needs I have will go directly to him. You've got a good one, Ernie. Don't let him get away from you. :-)

We had scheduled another service to help with our plumbing problems, but after going online to check reviews - great - we found that Ernie’s didn’t charge for estimates and the reviews were good. The crew arrived faster than the other service promised (within an hour of my initial request)! Codi and Miles were professional and respectful of the elderly home owners. They addressed some additional issues which had gone on for months! Although it took some time to unplug the drain it was fixed and they left with a good clean up and exit. To be sure we’ve put their number on the fridge if we have any more plumbing problems! Will definitely recommend them to neighbors and friends!

I have used Ernie's Plumbing for several years and have always received 5 star service. Carl has come out 2 times now and not only is he a skilled plumber he has great people skills. He is very personable, professional and enjoyable to talk to. I have been an independent businessman for most of my life and I am 65 years young. I have always been in service businesses and learned that just being good at what you do is not enough because the only thing people are loyal to is good relationships. Carl represents Ernie's Plumbing with the highest regard. If he worked for me I would make sure that I took very good care of him to insure I would not lose him.

This was the worse experience I have ever had with a repair company. I had a simple leaky faucet. Ernie's Plumbing came out, not one, not twice but 3 times. After the 1st visit the water would not shut off via the faucet. THE CITY HAD TO COME AND SHUT THE WATER OFF FROM THE OUTSIDE, not one but again twice. the 3rd time the tech accused us of tampering with the faucet, by now my husband is frustrated and words were exchanged. Ernie's manager Randy informed us that they would not be coming back out to our house ever again to fix their mess up. They literally BROKE the faucet in our tub and because of words exchanged they feel that it is Ok to leave us with a faucet that was working fine before they came but now is not THEY LITERALLY BROKE MY FAUCET and now I no longer have a functioning tub simply because they cannot figure out how to fix it. This has been a nightmare. BUYERS PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE of this company.

I gave 4 stars instead of 1 or 2 for the excellent work & knowledge of the plumber(Bryan 497) that installed my hot water heater. I was told my service would start by noon Monday 1/30/2017. I used 4 hours of vacation to allot for this appointment. I called the Dispatcher at Ernie's & the female told me that he wouldn't make it today but we'll shoot for the same time tomorrow! I told her I can't just keep taking off from work! She stated okay, thank you & started to hang up the phone! I said wait a minute can you not work with me on this, I can't believe you were about to just hang up on me! She said well, if you can't you can't! I ended with a compromise with getting a phone call 30 minutes prior to Bryan showing at my home. Bryan was one of the best if not the best home service techs I've ever hired for work on my home! I'm a bit OCD on the quality of work I expect & I do! Bryan's work was neat & he left the area more clean than he found it! I'm very happy I waded through the poor customer service of the phone help

We had a visit from Thomas to look at an issue with our outdoor BBQ, which had next to no gas pressure.Thomas examined all of the hardware, showing us key items like wear and corrosion, despite that being outside of the scope of the visit. he found the actual issue (a partially closed valve upstream of the BBQ) and remedied it instantly.Great guy, great service.

We had multiple issues in the home with our dishwasher not draining properly, replacement of a standard toilet to pressure assisted toilet and replacement of moen cartridge in the tub. I was experiencing a leak at my city meter box. I called Ernie's Plumbing this morning and was able to secure an appointment within two hours. They really take care of their customers and offer priority service and discounts if you previously used them. No hot water + a full house for Thanksgiving = nothing good! The gas control valve decided this was a good time to stop working, and that just added to holiday stress. I was able to get a new gas control valve since the old one was still under warranty, but I needed someone to install it asap. Based on their reviews, I decided to give Ernie's Plumbing a call. After evaluating the cause, he began the process of repair which included a trip to the 'Big Box store' for the necessary part to restore normal gas supply.During the entire service call he was very professional and knowledgeable to make a necessary repair and return gas service to normal. I am giving this business 5+ stars because of what they didn’t do! There was a terrible smell coming from one of our toilets. I called them and they promptly scheduled a technician to come out. He arrived on time and told me that it was probably the wax ring needed to be replaced and quoted me a price. When I told him that I was very DIY and would replace it myself. He thanked me for calling. THEN said there wasn’t a service call fee!!! In his words, “if we don’t fix something, we don’t charge you. “. I will certainly call this company back if I ever need a plumber again.

Miles came out and was very kind about answering all my dumb questions and then pointed out some issues that may come up if and when a new water heater would be needed which was exactly what I needed to know. Turns out the only issue I had was not igniting the pilot light correctly even after several tries and Miles did that for me and that was that. I fully understand each of these type reviews only relate to the visit you had at the time and can also depend on the person you deal with. Miles was the perfect professional and damn sure represented Ernie's Plumbing well. I'll be using them again.

Service Dept was excellent from my first call! Was able to get a quick appt. Matt and his partner made me feel totally comfortable having service men in my home after nearly a year. The job was bigger than I expected & they let me know that & showed me the evidence. We decided to wait on some of the work. Great, honest company and I will use them again when I am ready to finish the bigger job! Recommend!!

On the day of the appointment they called one of the two numbers they were given. I was late getting to the phone and was not able to answer in time. When I called back I was told the appointment was canceled due to no one answering. It was then explained that 4 days later was the earliest opening that they could return. No attempt was made to reach anyone at the second number. Professional is not a word I would use to describe this service.

This is the second time I have used Ernie's Plumbing. I had such good service with Michael (#410) the first time, that I requested him to come back when I needed more work done. Again, I have to say this company is the best! All of the work I have had done was relatively small jobs but required some unique solutions to fix them properly because I have an older home. Michael took it on and solved everything perfectly. The company was referred to me by my Dad who had a major plumbing work done on his home and he too was very happy. It is good to have a company with quality workers you can count on. I found Michael to be especially polite, informative, punctual, competent and professional. Ihighly recommend this company.

Ernie’s was wonderful!We had an emergency plumbing issue literally five minutes before the new year last night and had to call ER plumbing services to come turn off our water for us, as our shut off valve was broken outside and the faucet inside. That other company was supposed to come back today to do repairs, quoted a very high rate, but called to cancel due to parts stores being closed for the holiday, today.We called Ernie’s, which we should have done in the first place. We have used them before and knew they were great! We didn’t know last night that Ernie’s offered ER plumbing services, too.Josh came out as soon as we called today and fixed the faucet issues for us. He did an excellent job on all of it, had all of the parts and tools needed, and for a fraction of the price we were going to be charged by the other guys.All of the employees we have dealt with at Ernie’s are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, work with us on pricing that is fair and reasonable, and do great work and educate the customer well along the way, to help them prevent unnecessary problems and expenses in the future.We highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs!!! They have been lifesavers more than once for us, and didn’t take advantage of us financially while we were in a vulnerable spot. That’s excellence, which is sorely hard to find these days! Criminals! Ladies beware!! No ethics!!! Scoundrels!!!!I called complaining that we had to flush the commode sometimes several times to empty the bowl but otherwise all ok. I'm thinking just check the water pressure or tighten the chain. That big butt crack guy just hung out over the toilet talking to me and huffing and puffing for 20 minutes trying to convince me he worked so hard then hit me with a $250 bill. He didn't even remove the toilet or replace a part. He giggled the chain and flushed the toilet several times, lioked at the hot water heater and then told me to do what we were already doing just hold the handle down 3 to 5 seconds to get a complete flush. I could have bought 2 new toilets for that price. Crooks! He didn't fix or replace anything. I guess I just called him over to put cash in his pocket. Never again!!!! I've called other pmumbers or handyman since him and never paid over $75. Don't call these crooks. You're only paying for those vans they ride in and those commercials. What a waste of time and money. Unethical business practices specifically towards women.

Eanie's Plumbing has been servicing our Salon (open 7 days a week) for the last three years - always out fairly quickly, as our business depends on our water to stay open, and would consider 5 star service every time.We were disappointed when we called needing someone to look at a leak with one of our shampoo bowls and they could not make it out for an entire week... obviously, we cannot wait that long, so had to contact another plumber who came out immediately.Being a small service business ourselves, we know that client retention is very important and hope that in the future, Ernie's make time for current, repeat clients.

Craig and Giovani showed up right on time, were professional and knowledgeable about our under the slab leak. They located the problem area quickly and gave us a reasonable cost quote. We accepted and they began immediately, in and out within a few short hours. They were gone about 5 minutes when the office followed up with a call to to make sure we were satisfied with the work. We would definitely ask for Craig and his helper Giovani again should we have any other plumbing problems. This plumbing company is excellent in customer service!

Called you to have 2 problems fixed. Michael came out and looked at the problems and rather than just fixing the problem he found the source of the issue and corrected that so that I wouldn't have the same issue come up in the future. He was very professional and did a great job.

I manage a bakery and recently, the toilet came loose from the floor and rather unpleasant smells were eminating from it. As the smell of fresh baked goods doesn't pair nicely will essence of feces, I knew I needed to call someone to fix the problem. When I googled plumbers in my area, a giant list of results came up. As I was reading off the names of all the various plumbers, my baker told me that she sees the Ernie's Plumbing truck on the road often so they must do steady business. Sounded good to me. The woman I talked to on the phone was very friendly and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. When the gentleman (and the famous truck) came to the shop, he assessed the problem quickly and fixed it within an hour and at a very reasonable price. Met with Chad to replace galvanized plumbing (1950’s home) last week and received a quote. Called Ernie’s back to accept the bid for work and to get the job started. I scheduled the start date for the following Wednesday. After rearranging schedules around the plumbing job, Chad showed up today as scheduled just to say he wouldn’t be able to start today. Reason being is he has other jobs going and it may rain today (the forecast shows only cloudy today with no percentage of rain). This is unprofessional when time is of the essence, water has been off in the home for a week and we were patiently waiting for this work to start. I will not be reaching out to Ernie’s Plumbing for future jobs or recommending them to my clients.

I've been using Ernie's for all of my plumbing issues since I purchased my home in 2002 and they are always awesome. No one likes slab leaks but Ernie's to the rescue. They are always on time, professional, kind and knowledgeable. Carl came out today and rerouted a pipe that sprang a leak in my garage and I got exactly what I've come to expect from Ernie's. They will always be my plumbers.

Came out quick plumber somewhat knowledgeable. Gave a quote WITH NO BREAK DOWN. I had no idea what cost what as far as parts labor house call. I had to call for breakdown clerical had no clue told me next week have breakdown after they got my money. What service industry does not give breakdown up front?? How the heck do I know what I’m paying for! Besides I found them very expensive and overpriced for a 15 minute job with a 20.00 part. Charged $255.00. I paid but should have shopped around. Not from area trusted a friend who referred them I should have asked around or went on next door website for plumbers. It was just an outside spicket not a hard job since it was screw on. After plumber saw that he could have adjusted quote but didn’t. Not to mention wanted another 200 if had to come in house. I do not recommend them! Shop it around first for simple plumbing issues. They are very costly. Paying for there fancy overhead and vehicles.

Mike and Pete came to take care of our backed up shower. They were awesome. They were very professional, clean, nice and on time. The office staff also were very informative and made sure we were notified prior to plumbers coming to our home. I have used them three different times now and they are our go to plumbers. They did work for my neighbors & sliced our sprinkler line in half. The guy working was very rude to my husband when he pointed it out. Then made a smart comment as my husband was walking way which made him upset. We called the company the next day & they said it was not their fault. Said it was done when they redid Whitley road almost 2 years ago. So not true. We had all that replaced & have used the system many times with no issues. Please beware…if they make a mistake they will not hold themselves accountable or repair what they damaged. Plenty of other hard working plumbers out there. Think twice before calling them. And neighbor said they were stupid expensive & wished they would have got other quotes. They will not recommend their work & I will definitely try to convince others to go elsewhere.

I had a water leak at a fitting for the outside faucet.Technician Austin gave me an estimate with my long time customer discount. I discussed the pricing and he explained the estimate. After some discussion I felt like I might wait until Monday or do the job myself.Austin recognized that he may lose a long time Ernie’s customer and offered a compromise. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted but he was being very fair and I decided to have him make the repair.The repair looks great and he even insulated the pipe and discussed winterization of outside faucets.I am very satisfied with the final job and thanks to Austin I will remain in Ernie’s customer.

I have used Ernie's Plumbing for 6 years. They have done large jobs (outdoor sewer lines) and small jobs (faucets, broken pipes) and have always been fairly priced with excellent workmanship. Today I had David Meyer reset a toilet for me. He was finished in no time and the toilet is freshly caulked and secure. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to home maintenance and I count on all the plumbers at Ernies.

Two plumbers came from Earnie’s , original plumber gave astronomical price to my wife after dragging his feet through the house with a bad attitude clearly not wanting to do any of the work and seeing a woman thought he could severely increase the price. Second plumber was a supervisor who charged a lot to get the job done as well but much much much less than the original quote. The first plumber was stating we had bought the wrong toilet for replacement ( I had measured before I bought the new one ) this ended up being untrue as confirmed by the supervisor who came by after. Wasn’t a great experience in general. It seemed expensive for the work that was done considering I already supplied the toilet.In response to the condescending reply.I’m not trying to attack anyone , just give an honest account of what happened in our eyesI did let the plumber do the work the second time at a much lower price. The first plumber did not want to do the work , which is why we let him leave. And then I promptly called your company to let you know of that fact and also let you know of the extreme $3000.00 price tag to install a toilet. The first plumber also said the toilet was the wrong size. Your second plumber said that was wrong as well and he’s not sure why he told us that in the first place. Also I would never insult my wife and don’t appreciate your assumption that I did. I know how this trade clearly is , at least from your company as far as the first to plumber , the second plumbers price was not slightly lower it was over $2700 lower and that was the only quote provided. I don’t think your being given the whole story From your plumber or staff. Sorry you feel the need to attack a paying customer who did not have a good experience with your company. I feel solely based on the childish passive aggressive and condescending reply that I will bring this review from three to on stars.

An improper/incomplete plumbing test before buying our house resulted in an expensive plumbing repair that should have been caught and repaired by the previous owner before we bought the house.

This is the first review I have ever written and it is very deserving of it. I had a water pipe come loose and pop off in my garage over the weekend on a Sunday. I called a 24/7 service “All Masters Plumbing” and they wanted to charge me $699.00 on top of the $89 (which they kept and I get it, visit fee or what have you) I had already paid just for them to look at the pipe and give me the run around of how expensive it would be, all with a snarky, smart alec attitude. I called Ernie’s the next day at 7am Monday morning right when they opened and they had someone out that very same day. The front desk folks were very kind and called me twice to inform me of a small delay. Robert was super thorough and very professional, he explained what he was doing and quoted me for a fraction of the cost of the previous plumbers! Robert was in and out, no fuss no muss in less than 20 minutes! I will be calling and asking for Robert at Ernie’s from here on out with any and all of my plumbing needs, hands down!

They correctly diagnosed the problem that TWO other companies misdiagnosed and saved us thousands of dollars- seriously. Two other companies said it was a broken pipe, Ernie's found out it was just a clog. They were quick, efficient, and cost effective. We will ALWAYS use Ernie's!

Friday afternoon at 3 PM and I have water in my ceiling from a leaking drain line on my AC. Headed for a 100+ degree Saturday and need a plumber ASAP. I called Ernie's and they had Fred #306 out to my house that afternoon. Fred and his trainee diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what was needed and why and made arrangements to return first thing the next morning. They were at my house by 8AM and completed the repair quickly. Fred showed me what he had done, explained it all again and then they were off. Could not have asked for a better or more responsive experience. Well Done Ernie's plumbing!

Matt and a helper came right out and installed a new hot water heater. While there he picked up limbs off of my roof, communicated clearly what he was doing, and went the extra mile to make sure that it was installed with the right fittings. Great Service!

The plumber they sent did a good job. The work looks good ...so far no problems. My main concern was the original cost for the amount of time spent. The General Manager called after reviewing my concerns and agreed that a cost adjustment was in order. They have been very cooperative!

Quoted $485- $685 to find and repair a leak coming from the main valve outside. The issue turned out to be an irrigation leak. They still charged $685. The service guy laughed when inquired about the high cost . I recommend not using this company or get multiple quotes.When I text my concern, the first letters in his reply was LOL. To me that is laughing at a customers concern.

we've had trouble with our water lines leaking for several years from the street to our house. In the past I've always tried to find the leak and fix it myself but this time I hired the pro's and glad I did. Craig Miller came out and did a thorough job of locating the leak and then fixing it and I really appreciate it.

This co SUCKS! They came out, charged me to unclog my disposal, which caused 2 leaks, then wanted to charge me MORE to replace the disposal, but wouldn't apply what they'd already charged me for the BOGUS repair. I bet they wouldn't let their mom, sister, aunt or daughter be treated that way!

He quickly assessed our options for solving the problem and provided me with an accurate estimate of the expense. He was quick, even though he had to leave to purchase new toilets for installation. Before I knew it, he was done. But through out the process he kept me informed about what he was doing and patiently answered my questions and my Mom's questions. We have always called Ernies for all our plumbing needs. Bryan installed a new electric hot water heater today. Bryan was very professional and his work was very meticulous. I have a problem with the cost for the installation. $1900 seems a little extreme for this job. The unit installed is for manufactured housing not residential housing. The extended warranty through contractors was never explained or offered. Very disappointed with this job.

I called Ernies with what turned out to be a majorly blocked sewer line. They sent Matt, who was not only very professional and knowledgeable, but also one of the nicest people I’ve met. He explained everything clearly - what the problem was, what needed to be done, and what will need to be done in the future. We’re up and running again and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received! Thanks Matt!

Terry did an excellent and thorough job of diagnosing our problem step-by-step and did what had to be done to solve the problem. Turns out the toilet blockage in our 45-year-old home was due to a back-yard tree's roots. The roots were carefully removed and the sewer pipe was inspected with a quick camera search to make sure all else was clear. It was and we are now back in business! Thanks again Ernie's and Terry!

I have had a problem with our pool houser restroom not flushing and had 2 visits from another plumbing company. They thought they found the problem but wanted another tech to check it out, well they never came back or returned my calls. Ernie's was referred by a friend and all i can say is WOW. The tech Bryan found the problem in 30 minutes and worked 5 hours to dig up the drain pipe, cut out the root and replace the drain. I could not be more pleased with Bryan nor Ernie's. The problem was solved and cost less than the first plumber. They are awesome and will use for all my plumbing needs......

David Meyer cane out promptly and gave us a very fair price to snake our plumbing and flush out whatever our toddler flushed down the toilet. If it weren’t for him coming to the rescue, we would still not be able to use our washing machine so our kids can have clean clothes for school. He completed the job quickly and allowed my six year old to help turn the water off and on for him. Thank you David for the quick response and fast service at a very fair price. We will definantely call again if needed in the future.

The outside faucet would not shut off. Michael explained detailed repair options. The job was done with the least invasive route (whew). In the process of his assessment I was informed of having high water pressure. He took the time to explain the process needed to fix this new issue and gave me a quote before leaving. His customer service and professionalism was genuine (this personally means a lot). I recommend Ernie's Plumbing & definitely recommend Michael.

#410 Michael did a good job fixing my outside faucet. It was a little involved because of a pipe that was not attached to the stud in the wall. He had to cut into the wall inside the house and fix the pipe and attach it to the stud. He used a tarp to protect the rug and cleaned up when he was finished.

Great service and reasonable prices

I haven't lived in Texas for years and I don't recall ever using this company. However, they insist on sending spam emails. It's no good going to the 'Unsubscribe Me' button on the website because it is inoperative. Very poor business practices!

Called, they arrived a little early and did an excellent job on putting in our sink. We need another service from them, for something unrelated to plumbing and they were nice enough to come out and see if they could fix the problem. Which they did, still showed up early and their tech (Pete), was friendly and very quick. Will call them any time we need work done.

Very pleased with Ernie's Plumbing Service. We've been a service contract customer for several years. Just had them repair a Slab Leak and they were so courteous and professional. They recommended a repair that will circumvent future slab issues with that line. As a homeowner really appreciate that expertise and thoughtfulness.

Workers very friendly and on time. I feel I was grossly overcharged $300 to replace tube in toilet in 2 toilets. I should have gotten another estimate but I didn't. Originally quoted $360 with senior discount.

Wow!!! Excellent service. You got yourself a loyal customer for life. Our business office has an issue with the toilet and I called around for plumbing services. Ernie’s plumber was able to come look at the problem within the hour. Very impressive (almost unheard of) response time. Turned out the the issue was not plumbing but a loose flap in the water tank. He tighten up the flap and said, “No charge!”. He did not even take my payment for the service call. The dispatcher was courteous and professional. Sorry, I forgot their names to give them full credit for their service. Thank you!

Had a blockage of a sanitary sewer line betw a garage apt and the house line. When I scheduled it, I left word w/ dispatch that the last time this happened (3 yrs prior), it took Ernie's longest rotary snake. Shaun and an asst came out on time and were unable to clear the line with a 150' rotary tool. They were awfully nice and charged me for two hours despite having no success. I called Roto-rooter and a single technician was able to clear the line with a similar tool of similar length in an hour. I gave Ernie's two stars bec Shaun and asst were so nice, though ineffective. Have used Ernie's multiple times in the past and this is our first negative experience.

Excellent Job...My Main Man Thomas Is The Very Best...Have Served Me Well And I'm Committed To Be A Customer For Life...

They called me an hour late after my appointment window to let me know the guy was running late. That's fine, I took off the day for them, I can wait longer... When they called again to say he was on the way, I was on the other line and missed the call. I called back right away and they informed me my appointment was cancelled and the next window was days later. My water heater is leaking, and I have no hot water for showers or washing anything, but that's fine, I will call the punctual plumber instead.

We had a leak at the supply shut off for our house and it was flooding the flower bed. I called Ernie's Plumbing and Chas, #425, came out and gave me a fair price estimate for the work. I agreed and he went to work right away digging up the valve, cutting and removing the leaking one, and then replacing with a much better valve and utility box. Chas was very friendly, competent, and I felt very comfortable with his work. He did an excellent job and cleaned the area completely before leaving. I will not hesitate to call Ernie's for the next issue, and will ask for Chas again.

Carl is the best! I was pretty frazzled and grossed out with the problem but Carl was positive which made me feel better. He explained exactly what would happen depending on what would be required. He got the clog cleared, reseated the toilet and all with a smile. He also likes dogs which is always a plus in my book. Thank you!
