Best Furnace Replacement in Fresno CA

Angel, Bradley, Carlos, Juan and Andy provided the absolute best service in replacing my water main system. Never complained about the heat or what had to be done. Just did the work as explained always at a high degree of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction. Couldn't ask for a better crew to fix an awful problem. Got them on speed dial now just in case I need a plumbing fix. Thanks for a great job guys.

I was in Clovis a couple of weeks ago from Atlanta to be with my 80 year old elderly mother who just got diagnosed with cancer. She lives in Clovis on her own. On the last day I was there, I noticed the temperature of her house was at 60 and her thermostat was set at 72 -- blowing cold air. When I got back to Atlanta, I googled HVAC companies. Controlled Climates had good reviews, so I called them to see if they could go to my moms home and check what the problem was and possibly fix it. They were very nice but told me that the earliest available time they had to go to my moms was I think the 2nd week of Dec. I told them my moms age and that she is sick and needed more immediate attention so I would look elsewhere. They told me they could possibly bump it up to the week of Thanksgiving. I told them that was not good enough and I would have to look elsewhere. They then told me to hold on and that they would call me back. When they called back, they could miraculously be there in 1/2 hour. How nice I thought. How lucky I got...I thought.

They arrived at the time they said. I called my mom and told her to have them call me as soon as they were finished diagnosing the problem. I spoke with the technician after he was through, and I was informed that unfortunately the furnace had all sorts of issues and was going to be over $1000.00 to fix. I was told that realistically everything was in such bad shape, it wasn't worth the fix. He recommended a brand new furnace with an air purifier -- a total estimate bill of $4,400.00! Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed over this news. Because of the cost, I declined their immediate services, and opted to get a second opinion.

The next day, I found another HVAC company to come in and check out the problem. They were in and out in less than 45 minutes. They told me it was a loose 24v cable to the gas valve causing the problem and saw no other issues. They fixed it for $85.00, and my mom had heat. I brought up the problems that Controlled Climates had mentioned to me, and I was told that if they saw anything like that they also would have brought it to my attention, but they didn't.

I'm not accusing Controlled Climates of any wrongdoing. I'm just stating facts. They say they have pictures and insist they did everything on the up and up. They defend themselves very well. I however, inconveniently live 2500 miles away. And they knew that. What can I do at this distance except question something that sounds pretty extreme. My mom is elderly and very trusting. I however, not so much. I'm glad that I called someone else. A week and a half later, and with a savings of $4,315.00, my moms furnace is humming along just fine after a thorough inspection and fix by another company.

I received a very professional phone call from the owner Mr. Ray Montez. After reading my review he expressed how sorry he was and didn't like knowing that I felt that way about him or his company. He told me that sometimes one technician can spend 1 hour trying to fix something (which is what he did) and not be able to fix or find the problem and another can come in and get lucky. It can happen.

I was really satisfied with his attempt to repair his image with me more than his concern about his review online. That is what I really respected about his phone call. He didn't tell me to take down my review. He came across as courteous, professional, ethical and honestly sorry about not being able to find the problem. He offered to refund my money and provide some maintenance services for free. I declined.

I really appreciated his phone call and wish him and his company well.

Above and Beyond. Our service tech was Rae Akins. She was so helpful, detailed, and went above and beyond the standard to make sure everything was running properly.

On August 10th 2022 these people were supposed to show up I got a time frame from 8:00 to 4:00. No one showed up until after 7:00 p.m. . I told him I had dialysis but they came anyways. I called today and they told me that they came at 3:00 p.m. but no one really showed up. They called and said they had a job that they were at and that they would be here shortly. No one showed up until after 7:00 p.m. when I was already in bed from a hard day at dialysis. The receptionist told me that they called and that no one answered. Which is not true I was by my phone. And so was my mother. Very unprofessional. And I can't believe they lied. I mean WOW! They really lied to me.

Jesus and his son junior are the best! They did an amazing job and got everything done in a timely manner. I would recommend them a million times again!

I called PDS Plumbing & Air and they came out to fix my drain issue the same afternoon.

PDS saved us earlier in the year too when our galvanized plumbing in our slab started leaking. It was a large project to run all new plumbing through our older home and they finished in great time. The plumbers are professional and courteous.

They are my go to plumber for big and small projects. I couldn’t recommend them more!
