I will be recommending this company to everyone I know. I had a back up in my sink that was a much larger issue then I knew. They were able to schedule an appointment for the same day, the technician was absolutely fantastic. He arrived on time, polite, clean and hardworking. He took pictures of broken items that I wasn’t able to see. He differentiated between items that were critical to repair and recommendations to repair. For some detail about the work performed. The technician replaced two metal pipes (with non metal pipes) in my crawl space, a clearing pipe, various other parts under my sink, and flushed out the pipes.

Called for service at 7AM. Technician on-site by 8:30A. Problem resolved by 10A. This is the second time I have used Art Douglas Plumbing and would happily recommend them for plumbing service and repairs. Same day service and repair is always appreciated. Thank you, John, for a job well done.

When I called this service. The person on phone said there is no charge for check water heater.when the repair guy came he did not tell me what was the fault he opened the box and he talking on phone. After one hour I asked what was the fault. He told me he put new sensors.but he did not put any sensor.he ask me to pay $ 550.00. When I told him that is too much money .he called to company then he said ok I gave u discount pay $340.00. I paid $ 340.00.then he left after couples hour I turned my heater on problem is same . They are unprofessional people .beware this company

Had a plumbing problem day after Christmas called Art Douglas, within 1hr Robert showed up at my house, unclogged the drains for alot cheaper than a handyman that l previously used.

My tub was not draining. I called Art Douglas and they were able to come fix it the same day! They were friendly, polite and professional. Justin showed up on time, fixed the drain quickly and didn't leave a mess! The price was very reasonable and up front, I recommend Art Douglas to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

John was my technician this morning and I was super impressed. First off, when I called, the dispatch guy was able to give me a price range. Then a John arrived right away … less than an hour from my call! He explained the issue and what he was doing. He answered my questions without making me feel dumb. It was a slightly more complex problem than we thought at first but his solution was spot on and he finished quickly. I highly recommend this company.

Steward came out to take care of a backed up up drain that I couldn't get cleared myself. Turned out I had a broken pipe and sludge that had built up due to insufficient flow. He was courteous and fixed the issue and it has stayed working fine for the last couple months.

Prompt service. Seemed knowledgeable and answered questions. Gave great explanations, complete with photos from under the house. Very good cleanup.

The bottom hot water heater tank rusted out. Water was leaking up the dry wall. Art Douglas sent out Robert within 2 hours. New hot water installed and off to work in 4 hours.

Excellent Service! I called on Saturday afternoon before Easter and to my surprise someone answered the phone. The technician, Stewart, arrives within 15 minutes, diagnosed the problem, and provided several workable solutions to blocked sewer line. Highly recommended.

THEY CAME RIGHT OUT WITHIN THE HOUR OF CALLING THEM. STEWART WAS VERY INFORMED AND FIXED THE ISSUE RIGHT AWAY. REASONABLE PRICING AS WELL.

I called them at 7 a.m. and Andrew was very professional and said that he could get a technician to me that same morning, and he did. Technician Robert showed up about 8 a.m. and fixed the problem that I was having before 9 a.m.. Robert was very professional as well. I was very happy and still am. Art Douglas has consistently shown efficiency, professionalism and friendliness, from the moment I make a call to the office, to the time the work is completed. Robert checked the toilet tank and within minutes gave me the cost, got the part needed from his truck and completed the replacement of the fill valve. Great service...A/C quit on a Friday evening at 6 PM...called and was told they could be out the next afternoon...ended up having an opening earlier in the day...came out and had things running within 30 minutes. Great job...friendly technician!

Excellent service

Had a broken main water pipe between the meter and the main supply to the house. They did an amazing job of digging up the lawn to fix the pipe without ruining the lawn or making a huge mess. A few days later and you'd never know they were here. Very reasonable cost that came in under the estimate. A rarity any time. Terrific technician and great service.

Had Robert come out and install a new water heater in our home. After he was done he asked me if I any other plumbing issue's while he was there. I mention that it takes about 6 minutes to get hot water to my kitchen. Robert recommended to install a Grundfos Comfort Series Recirculating Pump with the by-pass valve under kitchen sink and explain how the system works and showed me how much I be saving with the new water heater install. I had him install it and I can't express enough how happy my wife and I with the results of instant hot water in kitchen. Thank You Robert and Art Douglas

John and David came to my house same day and repaired a leaky bathtub faucet and shower head. They explained what they were doing, wore booties over their shoes to protect my floors and tried more than one thing to come up with the best option for my problem. They were kind and professional. I also liked that they after they learned of the problem, they called their lead plumber to go over the best options to fix it. I would recommend them anytime!

My 80 year old parents called them out on a Saturday evening. Their sewage system was backed up and were in need. The technician was unable to find access and stated they would return on Monday. My Parents paid them 240.00. They returned on Monday, a different technician, to look of for access. The new technician was rude and was not willing to make an effort to locate. He advised my 80 year old Father that there was nothing he could do and to call back when located. We will be using someone else.

On Friday my water heater was leaking so I called a well-known plumbing company here in Fresno. They told me I needed a new one. I said OK go ahead and install it. They said they couldn't do it until Tuesday. I'd be without hot water for 4 days. Saturday morning 7AM, I contacted my son-in-law, Bob, and told him the problem. He said I have just the plumbing company to help you. I will call my friend at Art Douglas Plumbing and I'm sure they can help you. He contacted them and called me back. He said someone from Douglas will call you at 9AM. Sure enough, at 9AM, I received a call from Michael to let me know that someone was on their way. Josh came and evaluated the situation and I had my water heater installed and working by 7PM same day. Josh, the technician, gave me superb service. He even came by this morning to install a steel metal plate to cover the damage that the water had caused at no extra charge. He didn't have to do this but he did. That is what I call good customer service. Guess what? Next time if I have a plumbing problem the first one I will call is Art Douglas Plumbing. Not only did I get good service but I saved $1200. as the other company was a lot more expansive.

First and foremost , THE TECHNICIAN NAMED ROBERT, OLDER HISPANIC MALE, a stole my parts from me. Yes, he took them. I requested to have a kitchen sink, and faucet installed, he came out to give me a quote, once I advised that I wanted to move forward he proceeded to start the job. 1st thing he says he wants to remove all my old plumbing with new pipes. 2nd he advised that he was going to charge me for a new dishwasher disposal. I even was ok with it. When he removed the old sink and noticed the new sink was not sitting flushed. He then started that I would need to have my counter top cut sms to call him back when it was competed. I agreed. When I called back after 2 hours of getting my new sink to fit I called ART DOUGLAS PLUMBING bk to set as return appointment same day. After being advise to tell me that they were not gonna be able to come out so I started shopping around for another Plumber. When another plumbing company came out they notice that I was completely bare no pipes know dishwasher know nothing and thats when I realized that the it technician from art Douglas had took everything. When I called art Douglas Robert the technician stated he thought I didn't want my old parts and that he was going to trash them for me when I asked him and demanded to bring my parts back he said I could go fetch them out of the dumpster at there warehouse. When I said OK I'll go do that ,they then reneged their offer. So now not only do they still for me now a plumber has to replace what he took.i absolutely will be suing for parts and labor, ART DOUGLAS PLUMBING.

Reed at Art Douglas Plumbing Fresno installed a Badger garbage disposal and replaced our Kohler bathtub cartridges professionally, efficiently and quickly. They worked perfectly afterward and there were no leaks. The cost was very reasonable, and Art Douglas is now our permanent plumbing, heating and air conditioning contractor. I had Robert come in to fix one of the toilets in my house. The base of the toilet was leaking and Robert fixed it in a timely manner. Robert was very professional and courteous. I'll definitely call again if I have any other problems

I called them up for a pugged drain.
They came out and unclothed the sewer line. 20 mins later my tub over flowed and toilet also. I had to call another plumber to unclog sewer. I called art Douglas for a refund. They are giving me the run around. I will never use them again . They are terrible and non professional

The crew at Art Douglas are a cut above the rest! I recently had them stub out an outdoor underground natural gas line off the main for a fire pit and gas grill station. They also stubbed out an under ground water line for future outdoor sink. Jack went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and all permits pulled passed city inspections. I was impressed with Jack’s quality of work and willingness to ensure our expectations as customers were met. Can’t say Thank You enough for a job well done! It’s hard to find this level of Customer Service anymore. I’m a customer for life.

We had a great experience with Art Douglas Plumbing, specifically Robert, our technician. Although it was not the cheapest quote we got, we went with them because of professionalism, quality, and peace of mind knowing they pulled permits and the city came out and checked the work. We were very happy with the end result.

At roughly 4:30 2/14/2022, the driver of the #11 truck from this business was having a merging battle with another vehicle behind me near the intersection of Herndon and Temperance. There was very light traffic so there were no cars behind them or in the incoming lane (thank God). 11 (attempting to merge into the lane that continues) began to honk like crazy and sped to my position in the road, at this point the lane is now one lane. The driver came so close speeding past me that I pulled off to the side to let them pass. Had I not, the driver would have hit me. This kind of reckless driving costs people their lives. Why you'd drive like this in a company truck is beyond me. I understand this was probably an employee but this is a pathetic thing to see. If you contract work from this business be aware of the kind of person that could be working on and in your home. It's never good to do business with people who are reckless, aggressive, willing to endanger others to shave 3 seconds off their driving time, (that's right, I was right behind them when they turned off of Herndon) and childish. I would never let anyone like that anywhere near me or anything I care about.

I am so pleased by the service received by Robert who is a plumber for Art Douglas. I called at 11:30Am for service and Robert arrived slightly after 1:00 PM he pulled and resealed the toilet in about 1/2 hour. He was professional and courteous. Very impressed.

Awesome service. Had an emergency plumbing issue and called AD. They arrived 20 minutes after I called and did a phenomenal job. They gave me the estimate and I agreed. They found another problem, but didn't charge me anymore because they already gave me the estimate. I will call AD for any of my plumbing needs in the future. The guy that did the job was named Robert and he explained everything and was quite professional. Just an awesome experience. These guys know what they are doing!

We just bout our home and on the day we moved in the sewer backed up into the house. Home Warranty dispatched someone that wouldn’t even answer their phone or return a phone call. Called Art Douglas and they answered the phone, the lady on the other end was very understanding and professional. They sent Jerry out and he got the problem fixed right away, he also installed a Garbage Disposal. I highly recommend this company, call them before anyone else. Oh yes I demanded my service call money back from the home warranty company! Evidently they didn’t think sewage backing up in the house “was an emergency “....

We're TOTALLY satisfied with the superior workmanship of Omar Lopez and David Munoz with Art Douglas Plumbing Inc. They installed a new HVAC unit in our attic, which is accessible only through a small opening in the ceiling of our master bedroom closet. They were very careful in our home and in our closet as they removed the old unit and transported the new unit up into the attic. They even covered a pathway on our recently cleaned carpet and covered the clothing inside our closet before they began their work. And we just had the unit tested today by a young man named David who works for an Art Douglas third-party contractor, and the unit tested out well above average! We're so thankful to have found a trustworthy and competent company that we can confidently call upon to service our heating and air conditioning needs, and we also plan to contact Art Douglas Plumbing for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future. We called Art Douglas out to service our AC unit two days before the heat wave was to hit Fresno with temperatures way above 100 degrees. Mr. Raul Garcia, a master service technician, came over to the house the very next day. He inspected and tested all the parts to make sure that each component was working properly. He measured the PSI of the freon which helps cool the air and he repeatedly checked the temperature of the air coming through the vents, making sure that the air blowing out of the AC was actually cooling to a blissful 70 degrees. Our unit was low on freon.
We are 100% satisfied with our service from Art Douglas and we especially appreciate the expertise of Mr. Raul Garcia. Thanks so much!

I just started using Art Douglas Plumbing this past summer for my AC. I also called them this winter for my thermostat and heating needs as well. Their always very very prompt, within a couple of hours of calling. I found their technician Omar to be quite knowledgeable, professional, and fair. I couldn't be happier with their service. I highly recommend Art Douglas Plumbing for all your AC/heating needs.

During the service visit, the technician began to cough INSIDE our house. My mom and I felt uncomfortable with this and spent the remainder of his visit outside, then left the house (which we are very hesitant to do because of the pandemic) in order to give it some time to ventilate.

During the visit, we called the company and expressed our discomfort. The representative said that the coughing was simply due to dust and debris in the air— although we had also heard the technician coughing outside. When we stated that we were still uncomfortable, the representative said that we should have rescheduled if we were going to be this concerned. We did not know that the company planned to send someone to cough in our home. Therefore, we did not know that the technician’s behavior would merit rescheduling.

The company did not offer to send another technician to finish the job.

The job was a utility sink installation for our washer. We heard the water being turned on and off while we were still in the house (prior to the coughing inside), but after the appointment, the water is not coming into the washer.

Since then, the company left me a voice message. I did not feel comfortable speaking with the company over the phone, but requested by contact form that they email me. I’m waiting for a response.

Spoke to Brandon who was very helpful and sent Reed out to see what the problem was with my main line. Within 45 minutes my bathroom was finally operational !! The clog and main line was cleared and Reed even showed me where the pipe was under my house and was kind enough to show me where a clean out needs to be.
Kim's Plumbing had previously came out 3x and didn't complete the job and wouldn't honor the warranty they had verbally stated but wanted more money. Horrible experience with Kim's Plumbing especially with Carol, who is rude and Lori who didn't want to make the situation better by fixing what they never started...

I called Art Douglas for a faucet repair.
Stewart came out and gave me an estimate/price that was very reasonable.I live on a fixed income and money is very tight so I am really happy!
Stewart had my faucet fixed in a timely manner that same afternoon.

I've had this company out to my house twice this week, once to have my AC serviced and my rental property and secondly to repair my faucet filters (it had 3 filters!). John came out on the last one and did a nice job of finding all three filters, cleaning them out and boom I have nice water pressure now. Art Douglas Plumbing is my new go to company, especially since I received both services on the same day I called!!! Unheard of.

I had a horrible experience with this company. Now that I am in the process of having to replace (prematurely) the unit they installed, and am trying to find an honest company, I wish I would have done a write-up to inform others about my experience. I had problems from the 2nd summer on after they installed the new unit. I let them get me for a little bit more money but, then when they wanted $3,000 for something they told me was due to the bad copper from China, I knew they were just lying. Even if it was true about the bad copper, I did not think that it should have been my problem. Every summer I have had to spend a pretty penny on repairs so I have decided to just replace. I hope this helps someone...

I just love this company!! We have been using them for over 20 years. Always very professional, but friendly as well. Today I had to call them again and Sam came out instantly. He fixed my problem in no time and was very helpful with suggestions on how to avoid the problem further. I also love the fact that they recognize Veterans and give them a break on their services needed.

Great JOB! Sal Zepeda did a great job fixing the toilet at our office. He came in early morning, cheerful, full of energy, got to work, did the job and was out in a flash! Use due diligence when using this company

Had an emergency late in the evening, called one plumbing company who only cared about getting a credit card number first, and then we tried Art Douglas. Josh came out with no hesitation and explained the problem. It was dark and wasn’t much he could do that night but said someone would be out first thing. Sure enough at 8 am I received a call from Josh letting me know he had a technician on the way. Stewart and Robert were great. They explained what was going on and were very upfront about cost. Once given the green light, they went right to work. In less that 24 hours they had everything fixed and working! All three of the employees we came in contact with were professional, pleasant, and meticulous with their work. They have our business from now on. Thank you guys!

I own a grooming salon and our drains were backed up. We are very busy so we needed someone right away. They got here within 30mins of us calling and unclogged our drain in maybe 20mins! I highly recommend.

do not use this company they insert there poor equipment in my pipe and broke it. they did not tell me that they broke the pipe instead they are Insisted that there is a toy and they have to cut My tile ground and cut that pipe just to take the toy out. So I hired another company they insert a camera and they Found a Piece of equipment Went through The pipe, break it and it was left in side my pipe.

Needed to replace flush valve on Toto Toilet. Came out and said he would get back to me because he would have to order part. 2 days later received call telling me that the part has been discontinued and I had two options replace the toilet for $850.00 or the tank for $400.00 (assuming it included installation and take away of old toilet. Advised him that was the wrong answer and then went online and in 30 secs. found a company out of NY that had discontinued parts. Ordered on line for $ 32.00 and arrived in 4 days. Called Verns Plumbing and had it installed in 30 mins.

Lesson. Don't trust them they lack professionalism and service to customers.

Excellent Service, Fast to get the work done, had my mobile home park's main water line break multiple times due to pge upgrade program and they got the line fixed within less than 5 hours and water back on for all 150 residents. very professional and courteous to my residents, helped with my residents get there gas lines fixed for HCD Testing. Being our AC was in desire need of being serviced, I called a close friend to ask who they used for their AC needs. They have been extremely pleased with Art Douglas. I called and scheduled for the following day. Steve arrived on time and was friendly, professional, polite, knowledgeable and thorough. He asked questions regarding the history of our unit. Initially, he checked the Freon and shared with me how much a unit holds and how much I need, prior to assessing the rest of the AC unit. Taking into consideration how old our unit is, I was the one who questioned about a new unit. Steve was patient and very thorough in answering all my questions regarding our existing unit and a new one, without any sales pressure what so ever. Not wanting to put too much money into an old unit, I told Steve it would be wise on our part if we purchased a new one. Steve was generous with his time, and I was pleased with his attention to detail. He explained the features of the new unit and how it’s installed, and replaced the thermostat and set up the Sensi thermostat on my phone.
Omar and his crew arrived the next morning and installed the new unit. They were professional, courteous, and devoted to their profession, working hard the entire time. They kept me informed of the work they were doing, which I appreciated. Upon completion, Omar was thorough in explaining all they had done and he reviewed all warranties and the Superiorcare Agreement with me. Quality service is guaranteed! It is obvious Omar and his team take great pride and pleasure in what they do and working for Art Douglas. They truly care about their customers and their quality of work. We very much appreciate the prompt, professional service and will most definitely be calling on them for future maintenance AND plumbing as well. We are enjoying our new HVAC and appreciate the one year service plan which is included. Overall, a great experience, a great team, great service, and a great company! Had a leak under the kitchen sink.

The worst service ever. Too expensive for something so small.

I discovered a water leak from the inside wall of a bathroom sink. Having used Art Douglas plumbing for previous plumbing situations, I called them on an early afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that a plumber would be at our residence within a couple hours. Robert showed up, assessed the situation, turned off the water supply, then went to get the replacements needed. He came back within the hour and did the repair. I highly recommend Art Douglas Plumbing for any plumbing/HVAC
services. Kudos to Robert for his explanation of what needed to be done, the cost, and repairing our issue.

1 called on a Saturday morning to have my sewer line cleaned out. Jack arrived about 15 minutes later. he was courteous, professional and efficient. 1/2 hour later job was completed 100% satisfactorily and total charge less than $100. Sweet!
