Best Water Leak Detection in Anchorage AK
I've had to contact them multiple times with no follow through on their end. I've been placed on a schedule twice. The first time no one followed up on the initial date so I had to call again to be given a second date and time window. Still haven't heard anything and upon texting back to figure out what's going on, hear nothing. Never before experienced a company placing you on a schedule and then just ghosting you.

I am very impressed with Extreme Heating and Air. We had them replace a water heater and install a new HVAC system on our home. They were always responsive, and their technicians did an exceptional job. I could not be more pleased with the price and craftsmanship Extreme gave us.

I highly recommend Jimmy and Kiko, I've hired them multiple times to install a base board heating system, replace a forced air furnace, replace a water tank, fix a cracked septic line, fix a natural gas line that was corroding in the earth in my crawlspace, and a few other odds and ends. Multiple members of my family also hired them to handle their plumbing needs and they are always satisfied with the results. They are professional, punctual, have integrity, and are easy to work with. I won't use anyone else, keep up the great work guys!

I was waiting on the plumber I contacted yesterday to show up. Finally called Mr. Erwin and explained our problem with the tankless water heater. He showed up within the hour. Took care of the issue quickly and even taught my grandson how to do the repair in the future.
Will definitely call him for any issues in the future.
Will definitely call him for any issues in the future.

Called this company out for a water leak issue underneath my kitchen sink in March 2021 on an emergency call basis at $252 per hour. It turns out the plastic water tubing from underneath the kitchen sink to the refrigerator ice maker was leaking. Said āplumberā told me via the telephone that he would need to go to Home Depot or Loweās to get basic parts to replace and that there would be an added hour and trip charge to complete the work request. I instructed said āplumberā to please ensure that there would be no further flooding issues at my house after he left from the service call. ( It was my expectation, which I communicated , that said plumber would take any and all necessary steps to ensure that the work he did was done adequately so as to ensure his work didnāt fail and cause further flooding. Damage in my home. After all, this is why a home owner calls a plumber out in the first place-every time.) basic right? Apparently not. Less than 48 hours after said āplumberā left the house, the tenant calls again stating that the flooding issue has happened again. I called said āplumberā and let him know that his work had not only failed but caused another flood in the house. Said āplumber returned two days later to again attend to the issue and rather than warranting his own work from the first call, promptly began calling me again for payment, another $440 approx dollars I presume. Unbelievable, I know. Still reading? It gets better- keep goingā¦. Yes you guessed it. The tenant calls me once again a third time to let me know that after the second time said āplumberā left the house less than 48 hours later his work had fallen apart and created a third flood in the house. This time damages were exceptional as the tenant was not home since he had to work overtime on that day. The fact that a licensed plumber had come and gone twice gave me great pause as to why there would still be continued flooding in my house. The third time Inspoke to said āplumberā he refused on point to return to the house stating to me with utter contempt in his tone, āweāll, I donāt know what you want me to do the line from under the kitchen sink to the refrigerator is crumbling and breaking! Again, he demanded payment from me for the second trip out- still not warranty if his own work which was clearly at fault and I the homeowner have now sustained costs of flood damage, restoration costs, the cost of a round trip plane ticket from out of state, a rental car cost, other traveling costs, contractor expense, among others which I will not mention butā¦ you get the point. My mind was racing on the way up thereā¦ what could be so so so wrong with his work that the house continued to flood twice after he left each time within 48 hours? Why did he state to me that he would have to go to Loweās or Home Depot to get parts to replace and then tell me later when I questioned him about the continued flooding ā well I donāt know what you want me to do- The line is brittle and crumblingā ā¦. Didnāt seem to make a match and correlate with the need to get new parts to REPLACE as it was stated. I would just have to go and see for myself! Heās a licensed plumber right? I tried not to judge as a I wasnāt there. Fair enough, right? Wait for itā¦ā¦ wait for it ā¦ā¦ when Inarrived on scene, the tenant had been 30 days no water in the kitchen- no dishes no laundry no cleanup etcā¦ all because said āplumberā does NOT WARRANTY HIS WORK EVEN FOR 48 HOURS at $252 per hour!!! Iām not finishedā¦ it gets even better. I opened up the kitchen cabinet doors below the kitchen sink to find along with statements from the tenant that said āplumber ā had demolished the floorboard of my brand new kitchen cabinets (newly remodeled kitchen) with a hammer AND said āplumberā kept reattached the old line on one end with a piece of a new line on another end with metal clamps and kept repeatedly trying to FUSE the two plastic ends together by melting them with a cigarette lighter. CODE? ABSOLUTELY NOT. But, I have the photos and written statements from tenants to prove.

My go-to plumbing and heating company. They are honest, fair, and reliable. Trey has always been responsive and helpful with his recommendations. And Iām not sure what that lady in the reviews below is talking about - Alaska Plumbing Service charges based on bids they write up - itās basically a service contract. You donāt get charged extra for āchit chat,ā but you also donāt get to negotiate for a different price after services have been rendered. Itās very fair, especially for the quality of repairs and services you get.

The people are rude, abrupt and customer service is entirely lacking. Mark has a horrible personality and should not be in charge of or even work for any business. Stay far away from this company

Was told by receptionist upon calling to see about getting someone to come have a look at a leak that they very busy schedule and they may be able to come out within the next day or so but couldn't make any promises And while I appreciate your honesty regarding your carelessness for potential business, I thought it to be quite rude and off putting. I'm sure someone else in Anchorage will be more receptive of my business. You could probably care less because your schedule is so full you don't need my business, but this is damaging to your reputation and I would recommend discussing such with your front line because they're going to drive away clients.

Very happy with Klebs. I just needed a garbage disposal installed. Some places never called me back. One gave me a 6 week waiting period. Klebs was able to schedule an appointment two days out. As promised, the plumber called a half hour ahead to say he was on his way. Larry showed up on time, was efficient and professional, and had the job done in under half an hour. I would definitely use Klebs again.
