Best customer service and very reliable

I called Plumbing & Heating Doctor to diagnose an in-wall drain that was backing up with suds from the Washing Machine and they came out same-day without hesitation. They asked appropriate questions to diagnose the issue and gain an understanding of the problem. They ended up checking the crawlspace, snaking the drain and testing the appliance to see if the problem could still be replicated. While they were here - I also asked for some advice regarding our water softener and filter and they shared some tips on both ways to save money and perform the maintenance myself. The technician was very knowledgeable & thorough and the price was very reasonable. I would without a doubt use these guys again for either plumbing or HVAC troubleshooting, installation or remodeling.

Called and they were able to get me on the schedule for the next day. It ended up being a quick fix and we had water again. The service was efficient and he was kind, professional, and answered my other questions. Would definitely call them again!

We ran into an issue with our main drain getting backed up. We called and the technician came out very quickly. Our issue turned out to be a sewer problem, but the tech was professional and recommended a sewer company that could continue to help us. Will definitely use these guys again if we come across another plumbing issue.

The replaced a few busted parts, cleaned our boiler system, and replaced thermostats. And when 2 weeks later one of the pieces they had replaced stopped working we called them they came right back out and fixed it free of charge.

Extremely helpful! I called after hours and they made it my house in under 30 minutes and were able to identify and fix the problem in under an hour!

I had a water leak they came and fixed it same day. They also replaced my whole heating system. The price was reasonable and they did not charge me more then what they quoted me. They put in a whole heating system in one day. They worked from 8:15am to 5:30pm. I'm very impressed by their work ethic and timeliness. Will be using them again in the future!

Called these guys after hours, after a different company no call no showed on me for a daytime appointment. They showed up in the estimated time frame, and Robbie (?) got my toilet checked out and fixed in under an hour. He was very patient and informative, answering my endless questions while he worked. They will definitely be my first call for plumbing/heating in the future. Can’t thank them enough for being available outside of normal business hours—and two days before Christmas, no less!!

Have an excellent experience every single time with this company. Super nice, efficient, and we never ever worry about shoddy work. Tony is always so great about getting us fit into their no doubt busy schedule. Today, (Jason?) located issue, replaced section causing leak, showed me the bad part he removed. Very kind, informative. These guys are just the best!

Called this company out for a water leak issue underneath my kitchen sink in March 2021 on an emergency call basis at $252 per hour. It turns out the plastic water tubing from underneath the kitchen sink to the refrigerator ice maker was leaking. Said “plumber” told me via the telephone that he would need to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s to get basic parts to replace and that there would be an added hour and trip charge to complete the work request. I instructed said “plumber” to please ensure that there would be no further flooding issues at my house after he left from the service call. ( It was my expectation, which I communicated , that said plumber would take any and all necessary steps to ensure that the work he did was done adequately so as to ensure his work didn’t fail and cause further flooding. Damage in my home. After all, this is why a home owner calls a plumber out in the first place-every time.) basic right? Apparently not. Less than 48 hours after said “plumber” left the house, the tenant calls again stating that the flooding issue has happened again. I called said “plumber” and let him know that his work had not only failed but caused another flood in the house. Said “plumber returned two days later to again attend to the issue and rather than warranting his own work from the first call, promptly began calling me again for payment, another $440 approx dollars I presume. Unbelievable, I know. Still reading? It gets better- keep going…. Yes you guessed it. The tenant calls me once again a third time to let me know that after the second time said “plumber” left the house less than 48 hours later his work had fallen apart and created a third flood in the house. This time damages were exceptional as the tenant was not home since he had to work overtime on that day. The fact that a licensed plumber had come and gone twice gave me great pause as to why there would still be continued flooding in my house. The third time Inspoke to said “plumber” he refused on point to return to the house stating to me with utter contempt in his tone, “we’ll, I don’t know what you want me to do the line from under the kitchen sink to the refrigerator is crumbling and breaking! Again, he demanded payment from me for the second trip out- still not warranty if his own work which was clearly at fault and I the homeowner have now sustained costs of flood damage, restoration costs, the cost of a round trip plane ticket from out of state, a rental car cost, other traveling costs, contractor expense, among others which I will not mention but… you get the point. My mind was racing on the way up there… what could be so so so wrong with his work that the house continued to flood twice after he left each time within 48 hours? Why did he state to me that he would have to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot to get parts to replace and then tell me later when I questioned him about the continued flooding “ well I don’t know what you want me to do- The line is brittle and crumbling” …. Didn’t seem to make a match and correlate with the need to get new parts to REPLACE as it was stated. I would just have to go and see for myself! He’s a licensed plumber right? I tried not to judge as a I wasn’t there. Fair enough, right? Wait for it…… wait for it …… when Inarrived on scene, the tenant had been 30 days no water in the kitchen- no dishes no laundry no cleanup etc… all because said “plumber” does NOT WARRANTY HIS WORK EVEN FOR 48 HOURS at $252 per hour!!! I’m not finished… it gets even better. I opened up the kitchen cabinet doors below the kitchen sink to find along with statements from the tenant that said “plumber “ had demolished the floorboard of my brand new kitchen cabinets (newly remodeled kitchen) with a hammer AND said “plumber” kept reattached the old line on one end with a piece of a new line on another end with metal clamps and kept repeatedly trying to FUSE the two plastic ends together by melting them with a cigarette lighter. CODE? ABSOLUTELY NOT. But, I have the photos and written statements from tenants to prove.

PHD Plumbing was my salvation when my heating system was not working. Same day service and extremely professional and detailed work. Tony went above and beyond to ensure that everything was working perfectly.

Robbie was awesome to work with; personable and friendly. He took time to explain to us what he was doing and made easy recommendations for our issue with our Water Softener. We will make the minor corrections with PHD next Tuesday. Also, our well pump is running when we aren't using water. He looked at our pressure tank and confirmed that we may have an issue with the water line from well to house or possibly the check valve in our pump is bad. Very satisfied with cost, service and end result.

After a burst pipe in our garage we called 10 different companies who either didn’t answer or wouldn’t come out! Plumbing & Heating Doctor answered quickly and had someone sent out within an hour! Jake was extremely personable, knowledgable and respectful! He fixed the issues quickly! I would definitely use Plumbing and Heating doctor again.

We are selling our home and needed our furnace inspected. Tony and Robert arrived on time to inspect it. Robert did a great job, even cleaned the heater in our garage. He was also honest. He found my friend's
lost visa card in my driveway and handed it off to me. I highly recommend this company.

We called with a leaky toilet. They came out to Willow right away and that problem plus a couple others were quickly fixed. They left the job sight cleaner than it was. We will definitely hire them again.

Negative temperatures and boiler was acting up , I was worried about pipes freezing up, called plumbing and heating doctor emergency call out line at 1 a.m , Tony sent a guy out to troubleshoot and get my boiler running . Just when we thought the worst year on record, 2020, was behind us, we had a heating & plumbing emergency on New Years Day... we called every number we could find via Google search, to no avail!

Finally, we were able to reach the Plumbing & Heating Doctor. They were prompt and thorough! Our technician, Robby, arrived in under an hour and quickly repaired the damaged pipe—restoring heat and water to our home, with an outside temperature of -4°F!

I will say, I do feel I over paid for the installation of my tankless water heater. However, other than departing with more money than I would have liked, I feel like it was worth it. What I paid extra for in this transaction was a company I feel I can trust. While I was quoted less from other companies for the same installation, I am not sure it would have been done as well, nor with the same reassurance the Plumbing and Heating Doctor provides. Some of the interactions I had with the other companies made it feel as though they were not listening to my requests. Others did not take the time to ask questions. Some simply did not get back to me with estimates at all. Robbie, the gentleman who came to my house to set up an accurate estimate and go over all aspects of the installation, was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The next day, literally, he and his team came over to install the unit, and I couldn't help but notice how Mason, was wiping down every bit of what they had installed to remove any gunk, oil, or residue left by the installation process. When they left, they unit was practically shimmering. They thoroughly explained every part of the system they installed, including standard maintenance it needs over time. They services all my questions and once again emphasized that they stand behind their products and services and that a 1 year warranty means everything is covered short of an act of God. And I believe them.

Mason came out after hours and helped replace my gas valve for my stove. Came out quickly and got it all squared away!

There was a white build up in my boiler's combustion side heat exchanger. Technician Robbie adjusted the flame and called a contact he had at IBC Boilers. Determined that dirty outside air probably caused the buildup. Makes sense as I actually found debris in the boiler after the ridiculous wind storm Palmer experienced. I appreciated he went the extra step.

Mason did a thorough diagnostic of my pump system. He figured out why I had low pressure and corrected the issue promptly. I am very satisfied with his service. Thank you.

I usually don't bother writing these reviews (good or bad) other than doing stars occasionally. Not my thing. However, Tony and his guys have always jumped through hoops to fix my problems with my aging heating unit, and felt they deserved my time to write one. I noticed D Y (below in the comments) had a very similar problem to ours last winter, probably those several really cold days. However, my experience with Tony and his workers was the opposite. They came as quickly as they could (stated they were already on other jobs), fixed the busted pipe, went and got furnace parts, had me up and running before the house froze. They worked with my insurance (even though my insurance isn't the best) and I was reimbursed for most of the repair/damage. Later I had them move cable and thermostat to a better location and they did an awesome job (looked like it had always been there). Recently, had a new motor go out that was still under warranty from the manufacturer, and Tony came out and got me running again temporarily, then later got the warrantied part changed out. I would and I will recommend them to anyone and they will be doing my furnace upgrade when I have the money for the new unit. A++++

Had this contractor come to check my heater after the last earthquake caused it to leak and short the electrical components. I diagnosed the problem with the manufacturer's help and even provided a part number. Heating doctor brought the wrong part, and never returned. I called and they hung up on me without a word never returning my call. Go somewhere else.

This is not a new review. It was edited to jog your attention because it was ignored for over a year. Check your apointment calender for a home on Denali Street, Palmer. After the earth quake. Its not the wrong company.
