Ben at Nelson Bros. was amazing. We just moved into a new house and immediately ran into sprinkler system/backflow preventer issues that were time sensitive for us to get fixed since we unknowingly inherited the past-due responsibility from the prior owners to have the backflow preventer tested per county orders. He was incredibly informative and ultimately able to come out quickly to fix everything, and for less than he originally anticipated. I would most certainly use their services again in the future.

My main drain was clogged up caused flooded basements and I call waterwork plumbing in Frendale on Saturday and Jerry show up to my house within hour and took his time to do the job and very friendly explain me everything he done.

Absolute RIP OFF!!! Cost $69 to get a $500 quote to change supply lines and shut off valves on a bathroom sink. Called another plumber and he came over same day for $200. Definitely felt like they would prefer to show up at your house and collect the $69 but if you’re dumb enough to pay an outrageous estimate then they’ll prey on your stupidity…

Well, where do I begin!? If I could give this company way more stars,I would! It was flawless! First of all,I needed a company asap,as a pipe broke in the basement. I called at 11:15 and they had someone out at 12:05. It was Friday. First thing Monday morning Josh and Duncan were at work! The whole job was finished with perfection! Josh is very talented and his professionalism absolutely shows in his work! I am,without a doubt,a customer for life!!! Highly, Highly recommend MCP. Prices are reasonable also! Just another perk. This company was great! We had sewage backing up in our laundry tub at 8 pm on a Saturday. They arrived within an hour and did a wonderful job. Very courteous and careful about our home - removed shoes when going in and out of the house, carried equipment out that had been exposed to sewage, and even cleaned up by mopping and using Lysol. To top it off, their fee was very reasonable. I would definitely call them again.

Jacob was at our historic home in Detroit and upgraded out home from a very dated and undersized water heater to a tankless Rinnai and we were absolutely thrilled with his work! His team was professional, fast, reliable, and took the time to clean up our basement when they were done, leaving it cleaner down there then when they started! Overall I was impressed with his knowledge of Rinnai systems, he clearly spends a lot of time educating himself on the product and even spent time with us showing us how to set up the app and how it worked.

His prices were very fair and his work was exceptional so we absolutely do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade their home system to a tankless in the future. My bubble baths in my large cast iron tub are so much better now that I know I am not blowing through our home’s tank of water and its amazing!

Edit: recently had them back to install a natural gas heater for our sunroom and again, their work was great!

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, DISCOURTEOUS STAFF, with ZERO SOCIAL SKILLS! They refused to identify themselves by name when I called; refused to disclose the name of the owner, when asked; and, hung up on me when I asked too many times for the name of the owner. When I asked with whom I were speaking, the response from the first male individual was, What can I help you with? When I asked if he were the owner, his response was the same. I explained that I was a customer and needed to address a situation with the owner. When I asked with whom was I speaking, I was hung up on. When I immediately called back, a woman answered. Thinking I would be received more respectfully, I politely asked her with whom I was speaking. To my surprise, her immediately response was, Why!? At this point, I asked for the name of the owner at least 3 times, in effort to address not only my initial concerns for calling, but now the unprofessional attitudes of the staff as well. At the time of this writing, I still have no idea who owns this establishment. Apparently, they appear more content with generating a quick $95 service call fee, than they are analyzing plumbing problems and earning $1,500 to $2,500.Where this all began is that I was looking for my 3rd opinion and estimate to re-pipe the plumbing from rusted out galvanized metal pipes in one bathroom. After explaining my problem in detail, I was told the cost of the estimate was $95, which would later be deducted from the total cost of repair, if I hired them to do the work. Instead, Drew and Becker arrive on the premises and tell me it will cost $145/hr for an exploratory estimate, with no approximation of how long it could take to explore. Huh??? How does a professional not have even a clue as to the approximate time it would take to tear through a specific length of drywall and estimate how long it would take to replace the galvanized piping behind that wall? After repeatedly seeking clarity, the closest these 2 professionals could commit to was, No, it would not take 24hrs. Anything less than that, 2, 4, 8, 10, 12 hours, etc., they would not give me answer. Was I supposed to say, Okay, go ahead?While they were driving off, I called the office back to get clarity on what I should have expected from the visit. Their staff was horrible! They were evasive when I asked to address a concern with the owner; unwilling to disclose who was in charge; and most importantly, unwilling to assist a customer who wanted to do business with them. It seems as though they are content making $95 for just coming out.Obviously, the $95 will not break me. Otherwise, I never would have sought a 3rd opinion and estimate. However, I am certain this post documenting my experience with them will cost them a lot more. If nothing more, they definitely lost an opportunity to earn more than $95 from me. Not a significant amount to pay to discover who never to refer or do business with.It is interesting how the reviews from the web, such as HomeAdvisor, Angie's List and FB are inconsistent with those of the Better Business Bureau.Don't take my word for it. Experience them for yourself.

Five Guys took care of a shower head that would not stop leaking for us. The problem turned out to be beyond just a faulty shower head, but they were able to fix it easily. The charge for coming out wasnt too bad either.
