Tankless Pros, LLC - Rinnai Tankless Water Heater & Tankless Boiler Specialists

My less than 10 year old Noritz tankless water went out 3/26/2021 for the 2nd time in a year and honestly I just didn’t have the time to wait 2 weeks for the parts to arrive. I called Tankless Pros (yank the tank) after searching google and spoke with Cara and she gave me a quote within a hour of me sending pictures. I had the Rinnai rur199in installed the next day 3/27/2021 by Jacob the owner he’s a good, honest and knowledgeable guy. Jacob installed things that will help my tankless water heater last longer with no added cost to me at all, he fixed 2 broken sink shut off valves at no cost to me and I had no idea they were even broken. Jacob installed a host of things I didn’t even know were available for a tankless water heater like the scale rx it help prevent lime scale build up and in my opinion it makes the water softer and cleaner feeling when you take a shower. My deciding factor to us Tankless Pros and install a Rinnai tankless water was honestly because the parts are readily available and the knowledge Tankless Pros have about their products, they don’t pressure you to buy anything from them and they don’t do any up selling. I will in the future recommend Tankless Pros and Rinnai to all my friends and family.

Game changer (for me). I’m one of those people who likes to wait a week or two before writing a review on products/services so I fully experience the product before writing the review. I am so pleased that I went with Ripplinger Industries and Rinnai. The installers (Jacob and Cody) were absolutely wonderful; knowledgeable and informative++, thorough, neat, reasonable-pricing, and responsive to my questions/quirks; they left me with full knowledge about this product for my home needs and they are committed to future maintenance of their own work (yeah)!!!!!. This product removed all home-use limitations that my tank water-heaters could not solve; in addition to removing the need for our morning shower-schedule/routine, we have limitless hot water for soaking and other spa needs, and I honestly believe I’m using less water, overall. I may follow-up in a few months on the programmable features of this product. Overall rating for Ripplinger Industries – excellent!!

We just recently moved into our home and our 13 year old Rinnai tankless water heater stopped heating water on Saturday (the day after Christmas). After leaving messages with several plumbers, I went to the Rinnai website where I found Tankless Pros. I was unsure if they would service all the way in Ann Arbor, but I called the number anyway. I was surprised that the owner, Jacob, answered the phone on a Saturday evening after 9:00PM. He said he could likely come out in the next couple days to take a look and see if it could be repaired. I asked him to send a worst case scenario quote in advance in case we had to replace the unit. By midnight Saturday I had the quote in my inbox. On Monday morning he was at our house to check it out. I was fully expecting to be encouraged to replace the unit due to the age. However, we did not get a sales pitch. Jacob and Isaac worked for 3 hours to troubleshoot the issue which ended up be a few simple fixes. They also serviced the unit, replaced a gasket and cleaned some parts. We also got a full tutorial on how it works, how to pull error codes etc. We may have a few more years left in the unit which is great. Now we know who to call when we need a replacement or repair. It is great to find a company with such good customer service, professionalism, and integrity. Highly recommend.

The Tankless Pros team are a joy to work with. My project involved dual installations for a multi-family property. The communication was professional and the team is super knowledgeable, kind-hearted and hard-working. Jacob takes the time to answer your questions along the way, do the walk through post wrap about and follow ups after completion. They also use a user friendly platform for appointments, quotes, invoices and if need be, loan processing. I am happy I invested in the new systems and confident with the choice to contract with Tankless Pros. Go green!

Tankless Pros did an amazing job installing our new tankless water heater! We had an existing 10 year old tank-style electric water heater that didn't fit our space. I had done my homework and decided Rinnai was the brand I wanted to go with and used their website to find certified installers. I then got multiple quotes and Tankless Pros were the most detailed and knowledgeable about the product and installation without being pushy at all. Their quoting / invoice system and office staff are amazing. They were extremely responsive and easy to communicate with both via email and text messages. The installers that came out had a big job to do since we had no existing gas line or venting and are on a crawl space but they never complained and did beautiful work (they are perfectionists like me). I passed all city inspections for mechanical, plumbing and electrical the first time. I can't say enough good things about Tankless Pros (and staff) and would highly recommend checking them out if you want a tankless water heater. Ours has been working great and we will be saving a ton! 👍

Tankless Pros did an amazing job with the install! Even though they had to deal with bad weather and a power outage they still stayed to make sure everything was right. They noticed a gas leak that they fixed while they were there as well. The inspector said he could tell this was a professional job. It’s been about a month and everything is working great! Well done and I highly recommend!!!

The experience with Tankless Pros LLC was excellent. Jacob let me know he was running a bit later than expected but arrived at time he said he would be there. He was very clear in his explanations of what was going on with our Rinnai tankless heater and gave me a rundown of what was needed to resolve the problem. Our heater was 16 years old so I was worried it would need replacing but the problem was related to gas flow and cleaning of interior dirt build up. I felt comfortable scheduling the work needed.

Contacted Jacob Ripplinger- Rinnai Tankless Pros for an estimate on a boiler and tankless replacement-install, promised in 2 weeks which I did not receive, then requesting the status of the quote ,he said he would have it out within a week .60 days has passed and he never sent the estimate or a response , just went dark,. My experience is that if they can't even get an estimate out and-or communicate they will not perform on the job. Pros? I don't think so.

I'm very satisfied with the quality, cost and professional service that I received from these guys. My family is thankful to have hot water again 😊

if I recall his name correctly, Isaiah was our engineer. He performed our flush and repair quickly, with minimal interruption to the business. We discussed additional solutions to a few ongoing issues and will likely be going forward with them in the near future

Not only was the install quick, clean, and friendly but the workmanship is obviously important to this company. Jacob even returned a week later to troubleshoot a concern in person; you just don't find service like this often.

I researched on line and found Rinnai to be the best tankless water heaters. I looked for an authorized dealer and found Jacob’s company. The tankless heaters are more expensive than tank versions but they use less energy and last much longer. The heat exchanger has a 15 year warranty. The installation took about 6 hours which was what they had forecast. They took the old heater and cleaned up very well. Everything was insulated and sealed as needed. This unit has a programmable recirculation feature which provides hot water throughout the house in seconds. With the old tank, the upstairs bathrooms used to take 2-3 minutes to get hot water. This feature works good but now it takes a while to get cold water out of the other side!

The crew were thorough about their installation of the Rinnai tankless water heater model RUR199in. They spent tremendous amount of time from morning till late evening putting multiple recirculation valves in the house as well as motion sensors to activate the unit. This was not a new install but a replacement of an older Bosch tankless water heater and there was quite some time involved in removing and replumbing the water and gas pipes for the new system. In all Tankless Pros (lead by Jacob) were respectful, courteous, listened to my needs and made sure I'm satisfied at the end of the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone else needing to install a tankless water heater system.

Very good guys to do business with. Jacob is really smart. He was willing to work with me on all aspects of designing, financing, and installing of a state of the art, heating system. His staff was amazing. Real craftsmen. The plumber was in a special class on his own. Our job wasn’t without difficulties or problems. To have a team work professionally to complete all the smallest of details on our home was impressive. I bid multiple HVAC contractors. These guy made it a no brainer. Technology with commitment.

Isiah and his colleague with Tankless Pros performed a flush/descale of my Navien on-demand tankless hot water system per the 2-3 year recommended maintenance schedule, and added the scale RX in-line supply filter for even cleaner water and an extension of the maintenance schedule to the 5-7 year range and extending the life of my Navien system.

Installed a tankless water heater in my house and I could not be happier! They even spent the time to show me how to program the unit to my needs. Highly recommended!

Jacob was at our historic home in Detroit and upgraded out home from a very dated and undersized water heater to a tankless Rinnai and we were absolutely thrilled with his work! His team was professional, fast, reliable, and took the time to clean up our basement when they were done, leaving it cleaner down there then when they started! Overall I was impressed with his knowledge of Rinnai systems, he clearly spends a lot of time educating himself on the product and even spent time with us showing us how to set up the app and how it worked.

His prices were very fair and his work was exceptional so we absolutely do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade their home system to a tankless in the future. My bubble baths in my large cast iron tub are so much better now that I know I am not blowing through our home’s tank of water and its amazing!

Edit: recently had them back to install a natural gas heater for our sunroom and again, their work was great!

Just after the first night after install I noticed a difference in my water. It just felt cleaner. I live on a lake and have well water so the water can be smelly and slimy. Ever since I’ve gotten the tankless water heater, I haven’t noticed the smell at all and the sliminess of the water has gone away, not completely because we still technically have well water but it definitely has helped it. I also love how much more extra space I have without the big water tank! The guys were able to get the job done pretty fast and we’re super friendly and professional. They know what they’re doing and I would highly recommend going with Tankless Pros.

I am extremely satisfied with my Rinnai tankless water heater and the quality of service and support I have received from Jacob and his team. I have now utilized Ripplinger Industries for multiple residential plumbing projects in my 1920s home and have never been presented with anything less than expert advice, skilled installation and the highest customer service. We had a steam radiator pipe fail under the floor of the family room in our 1920's tudor and had visions of jackhammers and a huge mess dancing in our heads. Ripplinger to the rescue! Jacob and his team outfitted the room with a Rinnai ventless/natural gas heater within a few short days of our call, even completing the job to our amazement on xmas eve. 2019-Ripplinger stopped by for work on rerouting my gas line. The work was small but his team put inn a lot of detail in making sure the job is done and looks good! They clean up after their work and again extremely awesome at questions and concerns!

As it happens, we were not able to wait until spring to replace the 40 yr old water heater. It broke and we had no hot water and very little water pressure. I called Jacob and he made an appointment within the week. He came out w a sweet assistant, fully masked and aware of the pandemic protocols. They worked long and hard to drain the old water heater and install a wonderful Rinnai tankless water heater. Because our old water heater wasn't functioning well, sediment had gotten into the plumbing. Jacob and his assistant came back the next day to tackle the plumbing issues. They fixed every single faucet, cleaned out the pipes and now we have a wonderful , economical Rinnai tankless water heater, hot water, and wonderful water pressure. Jacob is multi-talented and a perfectionist. He will stay until the job is done, or come back until the job is done. Love Rinnai products and love Jacob and all the Tankless Pros.
