I very rarely write reviews on anything. But when you have a company that goes above and beyond for you, I feel it should be acknowledged.
This has been one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time! Kenny was prompt, fair in pricing and very professional! I would recommend him to anyone needing heating and cooling services.

Nygee Came out my Furnace would not come on he did a few tests told me that I needed a new Control board went and picked it up put it in that my Furnace up and running I’ll be recommend them to everybody they were fast and on time thanks and save me money ……… thanks you keep up the good work

Saved me thousands of dollars!!!!!!!!

We had a four foot flood and had an assessment done on our furnace/air conditioning by another company that said it would be $4000 to repair. We asked Budget Plumbing to come in and do an assessment. I was blown away!!! He fixed it during the assessment and I’m embarrassed to say how little he charged, there should have been a tip option on the payment. Can you imagine being so ecstatic that you actually want to give the service worker more than what they asked!!! If you’re still reading this just call them, they are friendly experts that will save you $$$$.

KENNY literally is the best in Detroit on time and flexible to your schedule great work ethic and gets the job down. That first cold day my heat wouldn’t come on i called it was kinda late but i explained to him that i have a new born and it was kinda of a emergency he came right out got the heat going then notice a few other problems and made me aware and i made a appointment and he came out and fixed it all. I used him this past summer for my a/c and he fixed that quick. 5stars does not cut it when it comes to budget heating and cooling i give him 10stars Thank you Kenny i will be referring all my friends family and neighbors to you .

I called yesterday and spoke with Kenny. He said he would come out today and gave me a time. He asked me to text him my address, which I did immediately after hanging up with him. No confirmation of text or response of any kind and no show today. I will wait for the professional, responsive company I always use to come out when they’re available next week. I now suspect that all the good reviews were posted by family and friends.

I called them on a Sunday morning and they quickly responded. They came out and repaired my blower on my furnace. They were very prompt and professional and now my heat is working so good!

It was 90 degrees outside and
my central air was not functioning properly. The system came on but it would not cool my home. Kenny came out the same day!! He was empathetic, professional and was able to quickly diagnosed the problem. He returned with a compressor and wala my home feels amazing. Great job!! You are now “locked in” and my “go to” for any future HVAC needs.

My boiler broke down during the cold month of February and I received help early the next day. The service guy was very prompt and pleasant.

Absolutely fantastic company and owner! It is rare to have no complaints, and in fact, to be impressed with the prompt, friendly, and fair pricing of a contractor. I woke up at 7 AM to my house at 57°. I googled for a local company, and Budget came up as being nearby. I called fully expecting to get a voicemail, or some explanation as to why there would be an emergency charge, or they couldn’t see me for a week or something like that. Instead the owner answered promptly, and told me he could be there in 10 minutes. This was a little bit unique because I caught him before his appointments for the day. But he came in, diagnosed the situation, told me a price. He left for 20 minutes to get the part (only because it was unique part that he didn’t keep in the truck). came back, and at 10:30 AM, the whole problem is fixed. You almost never see service like that! 100% will recommend to all of my neighbors.

Kenny is awesome, he was the only guy to pick up the phone on my first call. He installed a new furnace and water heater the next day, no excuses and does what he has to do.
His prices were fair, I paid him in full prior to him showing up or even meeting him. He did what was promised and came back once my power was turned on to be sure everything was working as it should.
This guy gets things done and quickly!!

Kenny has been my go to HVAC guy for about 3-4 years now. He’s always professional and his work is great. He has completed work on more then 20 homes for me and i am completely satisfied every time. I called Budget Plumbing and Heating and spoke to Kenny after having already called two other businesses. Kenny came back with an estimate that actually made sense in my mind and far below other places. He didn't press work doing work that wasn't necessary. He showed up the next day, got the job done and left me with my AC in working condition again. I highly recommend this vendor for your needs.

I've used this this company for 3 yrs, Kenny's very professional, reliable, consistent, knowledgeable. His work is A1, if I could give him a 💯 🌟 I would. He's worked on my furnace, installed a water heater, and keeping my old boiler working in one of my rental properties. He's also replaced some pipes in the rental. Being a homeowner can be challenging, but when you can find the right companys to work on your home without having to worry about the quality of the work is a blessing. So yes I was blessed to find him, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a well qualified professional furnace company. Man, my tenant and I really rely on him, and he always show up and show out. Ty again Kenny!!!

Kenny was fast and efficient. High marks across the board. I will be calling Budget for any future hearing and cooling needs.

MY FIRST GOOGLE REVIEW EVER!! Found him google, to repair Ac unit at my salon on E 7mile. It was the saddest experience ever! Like I trusted his word, he came out the first time stating it just need a thermostat, which I charged $330 for! Just for the Air to not work 24hours later. I reached out to him nicely after a day and he indeed returned, he then said it was something else actually broken on the unit and it would be an additional $160. Totally $490!!! The very next day it was out again!!! So I politely reached out and asked for him to please come back because my team was getting frustrated and considering finding a new shop home! He agreed to come back a third time, but it would have to be after he received his truck back from the shop, or after his vacation that was scheduled that weekend, people after $500 spent and 2 weeks passed my unit was still not working, nor would he return any of my Calls or text, it was real bummer for me cause I’m on maternity leave and my income is limited, which he knew! I had to call another company only this time being very selective just have to spend an additional $335 now totally $825. It’s been 6 days ac is now working perfect thanks to new company. Really makes me sad when my black men handle business this way!! attached our text thread as proof!

After having many problems with a previous company. Kenny came by and quickly told me my problem. I questioned him, and he reassured me that what he advised was the problem and that he wasn’t to be paid until the problem was solved. Otherwise he wouldn’t be paid. YES, he diagnosed problem and fixed the problem, which was something 2 other companies could not. So yes I would definitely recommend Budget and Kenny for any problems moving forward!

I called budget plumbing and heating for a quote to repair my ductwork. My second floor was colder than the rest of the house. I thought I needed new ductwork, but the technician was honest and explained that my problem was a simple cleaning. He saved me a lot of money and a huge headache. He was fast and professional. If you're looking for an honest inspection and solution call budget.

So I contacted Kenny on Facebook marketplace, which started off as a professional conversation. I elaborated on the issues, I was having with my electric furnaces needing to be installed at my duplex. He replied and said he could install them. He Sent me his number I texted the address, UNIT 1: when he arrived he took pictures of the furnace then I asked was he licensed and he stated that he was, then I ask about pulling a permit for the job. He said (“I’ll go pull a permit when I go get your materials”) I said ok.
He looked around made a call, then said it will be $1750 each to install . I said cool he said I need half now I said no, I’ll give you a 3rd of the money which we agreed upon at the installation. He leaves come back with the material, said the materials came up to more than the money I gave which was $800
$500 for the first unit 300 for the second unit . Cleared has way and let him work. Gets everything installed incorrectly. Gets paid smile and say this was my first time installing one these .which after he finished he left my materials outside to the second unit. He stated he had to go handle business (took pictures)
Kinda didn’t pay no attention because I was in a rush to move my tenants in. I turned it on for the heat so the guys can finish working but the breaker kept popping, I called him told him the problem, he said i don’t know why it’s doing that
you might have to call an electrician because it shouldn’t be popping.I was confused he said that. Called out an electrician. He said that the wires that was feeding in the furnace was wrong and he never tied in my flex ductwork nor finished my cut out for my cold air return this guy is not good for business plus stop answering my calls to resolve the issue I will never recommend him to anyone, p.s I WILL BE SEEING YOU IN COURT BROTHER

Kenneth was good, he came when he said he would and he found the real cause my furnace kept cutting off, which was a bird. I had the same problem looked at 2 times by a previous HVAC repair person which didn't find the problem they kept repeating the same job. I would recommend him and I will use him again if need be. The price was descent I guess I don't know what it should cost for a furnace repair so for me it was reasonable. Thanks Kenny Great Job.

I had Kenny come take a lot at the low water pressure in my kitchen sink. Home inspector said the low water pressure was due to the old galvanized pipes in the house. All other plumbers told me I should repipe the house immediately. Kenny realized the water pressure issue was a simple issue with the faucet. He was able to replace the faucet and recommend I wait to repipe the house until I need to renovate the kitchen and bathroom. Kenny did a great job and saved me time and money until I need to do this larger renovation!

I've been working with Kenny for the last seven years. We've done nothing but great, business together. He has rehabbed over 16 of my houses since then. Start to finish, beginning with ductwork with furnace and ac installations and then later re pipe and plumbing . Also during that time I've had him service all of my houses. Any time any of his installed furnaces needed service there was no service call, he just came out to tenants home. Warrantied As an out of state investor it's great to know that I've met and have had a great relationship with Kenny. Even though we have never met in these so many years. It's good to know I have found a great Hvac contractor in DETROIT. Amongst some of the others contractors, I've dealt with when he was busy. There's bad contractors and there are good contractors. Kenny I want you to know today your work and you being so helpful to my tenants who has a paraplegic daughter. She explained to me how helpful you were today. Quick Action! You're The Man!! One of my family members had an issue with the furnace. Another company diagnosed the furnace and advised it needed to have something replaced. Two days later on a bitter cold day, January 21, 2019, Budget Plumbing Heating and Cooling diagnosed the issue and within 5 minutes of arrival the furnace was repaired. The furnace only needed to be reset. Budget Plumbing Heating and Cooling (Kenny) is professional, polite and knowlegeable in this field. Budget saved my family a lot of money. Blessings!!!!
