Generally, I've had good experiences with Done. That's why I always call them for my plumbing problems. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was not so good. About a month ago, they came out to clear a clog in my newly remodeled basement bathroom. The tech offered to do a simple snake procedure for $99 or an over $300 one, if needed. Of course, I opted for the less expensive one, especially when he came upstairs less than an hour later and told me it was cleared. What he failed to tell me was that it was possible it just moved and could still cause problems later if it didn't pay the higher amount and make sure to snake the main line through to the street. Now, about a month later, that's exactly what happened, and I have thousands of dollars in sewer water damage in my freshly remodeled basement. After calling and complaining about the situation, we were informed that's it's our responsibility as the home owner to make that choice to front. I find it interesting that I can't count on a professional company to inform me of the risks of going the less expensive route, instead of simply telling me the clog was cleared. I'm not a plumber. That's why I called a plumbing company to help. How would I have known what could happen? I guess I shouldn't continue to call or recommend Done Plumbing anymore.

Brian, Master Plumber, was a delight to work with. His assessment of our guest bathtub plumbing issue was succinct in the work needed and a reasonable quote. No up-selling and no guess work on what the issue might be. When he did the work, he was on-time, professional, performed the work in the time-frame quoted, and cleaned-up. He was conscientious in doing the work without busting tile, which is what we were prepared to have done. The peace of mind we have with the work done, has us speechless. Paul has done several repairs and sewer line cleanouts for us over the years. Today he replaced the exhaust flue on my hot water boiler system and serviced the boiler as well. Paul is the only plumber I will ever call, as he is honest, reasonably priced for high quality work , and very knowledgeable.

Work done quickly and professionally and for a reasonable amount. Previous job took longer than expected but good communication about the delay, apology and discount - very pleased with the experience and would recommend and use again.

We had a great experience with Spartan Plumbing from the beginning. When our water heater broke, it was still under warranty, but we didn’t know how to go about replacing it. This past week, our unit was scheduled for plumbing work by Delta between April 4th through April 12th, 2018. Due to the amount of work required within our unit, we decided to make arrangements to stay elsewhere during the construction period since our apartment is small, and would not allow for much privacy and rest during their working hours. Because we were not feeling well in the days leading up to the scheduled construction period, we were concerned about the amount of dust produced during the work. Per the instructions that were emailed to us, we removed all items from beneath the sinks, above the washing machine, above the refrigerator, above the bathroom sink, and above the toilet. In an effort to be respectful to the workers, we had thoroughly cleaned the apartment in addition to clearing off the instructed areas. Upon returning, we found an excessive amount of dust coated on everything in our apartment... Dust also worked its way to the bedroom and closet, even though the doors had been closed prior to leaving. We found that Delta Repipe had moved all of our items from above the cabinets and did not put them back. We were under the impression that Delta Repipe would use covers to protect all surfaces, but the evidence of dust is clearly present on the kitchen floor, living room carpet/rug, furniture, blankets, electronics, tables, clothing, decorative items, etc... (see attached pictures). Only the carpet in the trafficked area (front entry leading to bathroom) seemed to have been either vacuumed or protected with some sort of cover. The counters and sinks were also wiped.

I understand that Delta takes precautions to ensure that a majority of the dust is kept out. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE.

Prior to construction they took pictures of the dust that was already present (behind the tv and on bookshelves). But the apartment was well-lived in to prevent an excessive amount of dust to be present on items such as my couch, and a table with a number of personal belongings (laptop, etc).

In closing, I am extremely upset, needless to say. I urge anyone looking to get their plumbing done to go elsewhere. I am hopeful that the quality of work done was exceptional, but their cleanup leaves something to be desired.

Set up and appointment 3 days ago for them to come out and give an estimate to add a half bath and redo the plumbing in my basement and most importantly fix my shut off valve. They called me at 3pm today to tell me they wont be coming out. I just moved into my home and I was referred to them for quick and reliable work...guess they have to show up to tell you if that's true...rearranged my whole day for this to get done because I have no way to shut off my water in case of emergency. Will never refer or use these guys...very disappointed with the customer service and reliability.

I recently had a leak in my basement that required urgent attention in order to get my water back on in the house. Bill was able to send Dan over very quickly and found and fixed the leak. Our furnace started making a bad noise on a holiday weekend. Blue Sky came out quickly on the same day, diagnosed the issue (bearings were going out on the inducer motor), ordered the part and replaced it a couple days later. Both the back office and tech were helpful and the installation went quick.

I've used Defense twice - once for an ASAP busted pipe leak a year ago, and a little over a month ago for a clogged drain. Both in the same bathroom.

The first time was great. $375 seemed reasonable based on what I saw. No issues with work in the year since that happened.

The second time was pretty meh. He said it was something further down the line and I should get a scope/cleaning. I was surprised, because I just had the entire service line replaced 3 years ago. Plus - none of the other water fixtures had any issues draining. He did end up rebuilding the toilet because it had a small run to it, and changed the stopper in the sink from a modern, more pretty than functional option, to a standard stopper that actually goes up/down. Ended up being like $530 between the toilet rebuild and the minimum labor charge (first time using them this minimum labor charge didn't exist, it was all bundled in.) Inflation maybe, just a note. So anyway, the problem I called about wasn't fixed, and he referred me to another company that could do a scope/cleaning.

Went a few weeks without a sink in that bathroom because money, and on a whim I buy a small sink plunger today. Low and behold, now it drains like new.

I think I got Jordan the first time, don't remember the second guys name. Maybe it was a fluke, these guys have really good reviews so that's where I'm leaning. But still quite frustrating in the end given how simple of a fix it was. Maybe my fault for not trying a plunger myself first, but they should have figured out such a simple fix for over $500, even if most of that was for the toilet.

Aside from this issue, they are very prompt at getting you in, don't give crazy long windows, and are great about letting you know when they are on the way.

Everyone buckle up, because I have to give a BIG OLD SHOUTOUT to Golden West and my boys Chris and Max!!!!! First off - I had a pressing issue with my AC system, but it's difficult to find time with my work schedule. Golden West was able to work on my time, and show up in LESS than 24 hours from my initial call.Chris and Max showed up exactly on time, and their vibe and energy was unparalleled. They were helpful, communicative, and most importantly they made it fun. It's rare you have someone come out to help with repairs and you end up having a great time getting to know them!They quickly discovered the issue, explained it to me in a way which I understood (which isn't easy haha), and clearly laid out options for next steps. There was no pushy-ness or shock factor sale, they were here to educate me and work towards a solution on my time.Ultimately I decided to move forward. and they stayed 2 extra hours to get the work done! To top it all off - I was having difficulties with my home warranty company while they were here. Chris hopped on the call with them to help get me to a resolution. Now my AC is not only working, but they were able to provide me with a 2 year warranty on the parts :)These guys rock, 10000/10 would recommend.
