Initially consulted Alex for water heater replacement and while reviewing our system he was willing to check out our sump system due to my concerns about its functionality and might not be up to code. Alex gave his honest and professional opinion, not pushy, offered a very reasonable quote to replace the sump pump and piping which I knew ultimately needed to happen; I removed the old piping system due to leaks and issues and they made accommodations to come out the next business day to replumb the system, they were even willing to run the piping as previous where I could have it empty into my yard drainage piping as requested. They went the extra mile. Looking forward to the same professionalism for the water heater as well!

I have had a very bad experience with Tony Capra Plumbing and Heating. A furnace they installed 8 years ago has rusted out and needs replacing. They will not stand by their product and work with me on finding a fair solution to a product that was either defective or installed improperly. Now they don't respond to phone calls or texts. I have been dealing with Carlos Capra and I am very unhappy with their product and service.

I didn't appreciate their bait and switch approach. They told me that the blockage in my drain was not fixable with their equipment and that I needed to do a $3000 excavation and replacement of a section of the cast iron pipe and that it was the only option available to me. Although I agree that would be a better solution, I didn't appreciate them telling me that they couldn't do a more short-term solution like puncturing through the clog or whatever. I asked them directly, and I've had several people come in the past, including someone that did a full water pressure cleaning, so I know it can be done. After they left, I was able to use my drill-powered snake to clear the drain myself. I know its only a temporary solution, but I know they could have done it themselves. It took 10 minutes and was super easy. So I try to assume that people have good intentions, but I think they were lying to me, or at the very least were being dishonest. Although these guys seemed very professional, I wouldn't recommend them for their dishonesty and trying to push people to costly repairs even when they are not required. I understand that businesses need to make money, but treating customers with honesty and giving them ALL the available options is the sign of a business that values integrity.

That all being said, the fact that they could point out to me the exactly location of the blockage was useful information and why I gave them 2 stars instead of just 1.

I just want to give a big thanks to Mark and his son Dion for all their advice and help they have given me. They are honest and genuine professionals. I called on Wednesday, Mr. Plumber returned my call and asked for a a text picture of my bathtub faucet. I sent the picture on Wednesday afternoon and now it is Saturday and there have been no texts or phone calls returned from him. It's obvious he is not interested in my business, so I will take it elsewhere.

I called a few different plumbers but none of them could come because of it was too late or no one is available. When I call Mr. Bruce, he was very nice and said he is coming soon. He did come and fixed the drain. He is very knowledgeable about what he is doing and very professional.
