I am a Lafayette resident, and a neighbor's recommendation of Around the Clog led me to call them. I was embarking on my own DIY repair, and realized i could mess it up worse, so I decided to check on their prices.

I called on a weekend, and was very pleased to hear that there was no weekend surcharge (at the time of this writing). They dispatched Kyle in less than two hours, and he was perfectly prompt, clean, professional and very competent.

The job was complete in less time than I imagined, the parts were less than I would have paid at retail at Home Depot, and I got my Saturday back! Great price, great service, local business. 100% recommendation.

My neighbor found Capra Plumbing in 2006 when we discovered we had a leak in our water service line. The Capra crew hand dug two holes in front of the house over six feet deep and installed a new water service line. They did a great job and when they filled in the holes, the ground disturbance was almost undetectable. I’ve called Capra for small plumbing jobs since and they’ve always done a great job. In January 2019, we found the sewer line that went from the house to the alley had a blockage. I called Capra and Carlo had a crew at my home the next morning. The crew hand dug a hole over six feet deep and replaced damaged clay pipes with durable plastic pipe. Pat, the same plumber who installed our water service line in 2006 also repaired our sewer line in 2019. Pat did a great with both complicated issues or our antique (1912) plumbing.

I recently just bought my first home and over the course of a month I spent every waking hour doing some home renovations and cosmetic details to get it ready to move into. Once I finally got moved in I needed to do laundry pretty badly. However, much to any homeowners dismay, it turns out the pipe used to drain my washer was not draining for whatever reason and I walked into my laundry room to discover a miniature Old Faithful unleashing water everywhere. Exhausted from all the work I had done the month prior to moving in and disappointed I could not do laundry, I asked the ever so informative Facebook world for plumber recommendations. It was overwhelming how many people recommended Ruben and Flowrite Plumbing. Ruben was so understanding, reassuring and willing to help. I was able to schedule an appointment for a few short days later. His team showed up on time and worked so fast at assessing the issue. I don't think I could even do a load in the wash in the amount of time they were here. They explained the problem and showed me what they had to do to repair it. They even crawled under my house into the crawl space several times to access some of the plumbing, which you couldn't pay me to do. When the job was done, they wiped up the mess and even swept the area clean. The pride, respect and diligence Ruben's team has for their clients and the job they're working on is one that any company should take notice of. I absolutely recommend them and can rest easy if I ever run into anymore plumbing issues, knowing I have their number.

Spartan installed a clean out on my main line. I got several quotes and Jeremiah was the most straight forward and gave a reasonable price. Work was done expeditiously and clean. They give you a 2 year warranty also.

King Rooter and Plumbing has always taken GREAT care of us. They are fast and responsive and never take advantage of their customers. The prices are fair and the service and workmanship is amazing.

The technician came out and literally did not know anything about water heaters. He tried to start it that was it then said he would give us a price to replace the thermocouple (which husband had mentioned when he arrived after someone told us that may be the issue) and gas valve, and also the cost just for a new water heater. He left to his car for 40 min to tell us it would cost $3600 to replace the unit or $1100 to fix the thermocouple and gas valve with no guarantee that would work. We luckily were able to talk to our usual plumber who came to look at it right after. OUR WATER HEATER DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A THERMOCOUPLE! He actually brought in a meter to test the gas valve, which the technician had not done. The unit has to be replaced but for the fair rate of $2000. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, the fact I had to pay $69 for someone to not even look at it correctly is fraud.

Contacted Home Depot to contract a Water Heater install...they asked Delta to call me. A nice-sounding fellow name Rudy left me a message a while later...all good, right ? Wrong...he leaves the phone number for Delta in his message - and when you try to call them, their system will NOT permit any callbacks unless you know the extension or full name of the person with their company :-( What good is that ? You can't call anyone back, and they never try to reach you again ? HUGE waste of time - AVOID HOME DEPOT/Delta Mechanical...you will EASILY see why the BBB rates them 1.29 out of 5 stars :-(
