The first hint not to use this company is the fact they are so reluctant to give you any sort of price range. I understand that you cannot give me an exact price, but I did describe the issue so I would think a price range is fair. I mean is it going to be a couple hundred or a couple thousand?? People do not just have a couple thousand laying around, so I would need to plan if it is going to be that high. Regardless of that, I still asked them to come by (shame on me).They got to my house and looked at where the problem is. They told me that the issue was my sprinkler system and they gave me 2 choices of how it can be fixed. 1. They could cap off the system to stop the leak but I would not be able to use my sprinkler; or 2. They could dig up both sides of my sidewalk and replace the piping which would take much longer. I do not use my sprinkler system and I wanted this to be completed soon, so I chose option 1. They said if I wanted to replace the pipe at a later time I could. They spent a couple hours doing the work, only to tell me that that didn't fix the issue and the pipe is still leaking. They could come back tomorrow and fix the actually issue but I would still have to pay for what they did today. So basically out of the 2 choices they gave me, the second choice is what would have actually fixed the problem and the first choice did nothing. I find it ridiculous that they would tell me what the issue is, give me options and then tell me that they really just spent time fixing nothing but it will cost me $250.A decent company would have apologized and then offered to fix the real problem not charging me for the nonsense that was done today. I will not be using this company in the future not will I be recommending it to any homeowners I know.The companies response to my review is appreciated but misguided. There was no miscommunication. Bottom line, they gave me 2 choices on how to fix my leak; I chose the one that was supposed to be the quickest. The company did the work, charged me but the leak was not fix. I was never told they didn't know where the leak was coming from; in fact I was told they knew where the leak was coming from and then given 2 options on how to fix it. I also did not stop them from completing their work. The work I chose to be done was completed and since the issue was not fixed I did not want them to start an entirely new job for what should have been fixed in the first place. The response by the company seems to be intended to save face in front of possible customers as opposed to resolving a current, and possible future, customers issues.

My neighbor had AAA Auger come out to look at a water heater that AAA Auger installed less than a year and a half ago. The problem was a pressure release valve. They wanted to charge her over $300 plus parts but didn’t have the part with them. After taking a quick look, I took off the part in about 3 minutes, took it to Home Depot, bought another one and installed it in about 4 minutes. AAA Auger wanted to charge my elderly neighbor over $300 for about 7 minutes of work to a water heater they installed less than a year and a half ago. Would not recommend to anyone. I always say the two biggest ripoff companies are plumbers and mechanics. This proves I’m at least half right.

Howard is a great plumber and has reasonable prices. I called 3rd generation plumbing pros and Howard came right away. I didn’t have to wait a long time to get my issue resolved. He was very respectable and also did a follow up. I would recommend him to anyone. The service was 10 stars!!!!

Highly recommend Mr. Rooter for any plumbing needs. They answered the phone quickly (did not have to sit through a call tree or pre-recordings). They sent a team of technicians promptly (within 1 hr of my call). Armando and Marcus were awesome. They are super knowledgeable and walked me through their process. They quickly fixed my clog and were on their way. I will definitely call Armando and Marcus and Mr. Rooter if I ever need any plumbing assistance in the future.

AC out in a TX summer? On a Saturday? good luck. My usual guys couldn't make it, but A Star could, and quickly. Tech was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, explained every step, and fixed it for less than I expected. These are my new usual guys.

Ricky took a $3000 deposit to put in a water softer and filtration system. He has not returned to install. Tells me by text business is slow and he doesn’t have the money to refund me. Avoid this con artist.

I have used them on many occasions. They are always fast, reliable, knowledgeable, and courteous. There's something to be said about a wonderful run and operated company. They have morals, values, and won't stiff you. For quality work at a fair price, call these guys!

Israel did a great job, he was on time and efficient and zeroed in on what was wrong immediately. I was very pleased with his work and courtesy. He did a really clean, professional job!

My toilet was backing up because of a clogged line. Called them up late afternoon and received an appointment the next morning. Scott arrived promptly at the set time, unlike most companies that give a 4hr window. In less than an hour my plumbing was good as new. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and the cost was very reasonable for work completed. Will definitely use again in the future.

awesome company they are now my go to plumbers I have just had them replace my water heater from gas to tankless took them a full day but that was it no problems afterwards and very reasonably priced.
