I requested APEX inspect my Water Heater following a holiday and some extreme cold weather that flooded my basement. They were able to schedule a service call quickly. Their tech called me 30 minutes before he arrived and was on time. He immediately diagnosed the issue with the water heater and recommended replacement. While the tech was there, I asked him to replace the kitchen faucet (it was old and broken) and inspect a bathroom faucet that was having hot water issues.The estimate for installation of the kitchen faucet and water heater was a little overpriced in my opinion, but I wanted the work done and plumbers in the area were swamped with work.The technician told me the issue with the bathroom faucet wasmost likely a slider and the faucet would probably need replaced. All this before inspecting it. The estimate for replacing the faucet was close to $1,000. I declined the faucet replacement and went to YouTube. 5 minutes of video research and 5 minutes of labor. I completed the repair using only a wrench and a bucket.Overall: 2 StarsI applaud their availability during the extremely busy week. Apex restored hot water to my home during a very cold week. I have to ding them for trying to sale me something (the bathroom faucet), when all I needed was a simple repair. It concerns me that someone with less time (like a busy parent) or less internet savvy (like an elderly person) could possibly be taken advantage of.

Our store was going through change of ownership with the health department and the day the inspector was there the hot water would not work. He said he would be back the next day and if the water wouldn’t run hot then he would fail our store and make us go through the application process again. We called RotoRooter because it was already late in the day and they had 24 hour service. Bobby came and found that the heating element was bad. The next day he ordered the part but it wouldn’t be there until the following day, so I called the inspector and he agreed to postpone one more day. The following morning Bobby changed out the heating element and gave us the hot water we needed to pass the inspection. Thank you Bobby from RotoRooter!

I had a sump pump problem with water pooling around the corner of the house and water coming in through the basement walls. The technician, John Millburn, assessed the problem within a matter of minutes. A previous repair job done by Atlas Butler back in April was not completed correctly. After further inspection, we found out that the line had deteriorated because of the tree roots and a broken pipe in plain sight that should have been found by Atlas Butler when they made the repair. ARS/Rescue Rooter have us on their schedule to make all the necessary repairs, and at a very reasonable price with their 12 month interest free financing. I have to say that the technician, John Milburn was not only courteous, careful about wearing shoe covers in the house, but extremely professional and explained everything in plain English. Thank you so much John for the help today, and this coming week! A very happy customer!

Matt from The Service People was the third company that came to fix our gas leaks to the stove, furnace, and water heater. The first one never came back, the second company spent an entire day here and it wasn't fixed. Then I called The Service People and Matt came out and fixed everything in a very professional manner. He was very knowledgeable! I will be call them for future plumbing needs.

They came to check our gas fireplace to make sure it was ready for this cold day. They are our best in San Antonio, very thorough, checking the gas lines, making sure there are no leaks, explaining the steps to get the fireplace working. Light the fireplace for us. Great customer service. I will use them from now on. Very professional and polite.

First off Rick advertises himself as a 24/7 service which is not true. He will come out and inspect the problem within 24 hours yes, but he’ll charge you a deposit, set up an appointment to come repair at a later date, then never show up or call. He never showed up the day he scheduled himself to come repair!! I’ve tried contacting him for the last three days and have yet to hear from him. His phone just keeps going directly to voicemail. He did email an invoice in which the math did not make sense or add up. He put on the invoice that I still owe him a deposit when I paid it the day he was here. The pictures reflect what he left my ceiling looking like when he ripped it away to get to the pipes that needed repaired. He is just extremely unprofessional and would not recommend him to anyone. Please steer clear!!!
