Best Sewer Line Replacement in Columbus OH
While the service provider was pleasent and professional per my tenants, the price was beyond outrageous for the work provided. Will definitely not be spending the 700+ for a simple toliet repair again. Be wary.

We hired Fritz Baumann to replace a faucet in our kitchen. We live out of state, so we tried to be sure and hire someone trustworthy. Before okaying the installation, I tried to be make sure I understood the cost of the work and the faucet to make sure it was affordable. I was told there is an $80 service fee and $70 an hour for work, so it would be $150. I asked the cost of the faucet and I was told it would be under $200. So with this information I assumed the cost of the work would be $300-$350. The next day I saw on our bank card statement we had been charged a lot more than this. After working with Fritz Baumann I have learned a few things you probably could benefit from knowing.
1. There is an $80 service fee. It DOES NOT go toward labor.
2. The work is $70 an hour, regardless how much of the hour you use. There is no prorating.
3. They will mark up the faucet and parts, which I know is common practice. However, I didn't expect $70. I was told by Fritz Baumann it costs more because it is higher quality. I spoke with Moen and that is NOT the case. If the faucet has the same model number it is EXACT the same as what you can purchase at a home store.
A positive for this company is I believe they do good work and responded quickly. However, I asked to speak to the owner (or manager?) and he didn't call me back for three days. When we spoke my goal was to let him know how the communication I had when setting up the service could have been improved. As an owner of a business I assumed he'd want to know how to improve service to future customers. Unfortunately, he kept telling me they had told me all the above on the phone, which wasn't the case. That was exactly what I was trying to communicate. He told me how they have thousands of happy customers, but I told him they had lost us. His response was, I don't mind losing customers I don't want to work for. Well, that sealed the deal for me. I wasn't ugly and didn't raise my voice on the call. Just simply wanted to let them know how they could improve their communication to avoid customers being surprised by a large bill. But I guess he's pretty confident they've got a good thing going and don't need customers. Sadly, we will not be using this company in the future.

I wish I could remember names!! I would ask for these 2 men for future plumbing issues. They were personable, professional, and timely. They replaced an outside hose bib that wouldn’t turn off

DrainMaster was a gem to find. To start, Charlie was very responsive and clear about the timing and the price I would expect for an emergency call, which by the way, was reasonable for all they did for us. Rick arrived and fixed the problem within an hour. He was professional, respectful and thorough, and we will definitely use DrainMaster in the future for plumbing and drain work.

I had been trying different products for 2 weeks to fix my kitchen sink drain...I finally called Mr.Rooter , as they had worked for me years ago andI was pleased in the past. They sent a young man named Cory J. and he ran a cable that cleared my drain ….I only wish I had called sooner. I was so impressed with his knowledge and speed to look over the situation , give me an estimate and get right to the process of fixing my drain. If I have another plumbing issue I will request Cory J. He also cleaned up any mess this job created. Thank you Cory J. at Mr.Rooter

We had a sewer backup on Christmas Day. They sent someone that evening who worked hard but couldn't clear the block. They came back the next day, even without their preferred equipment, which had broken, and worked and worked until they got it cleared. We had checked with other companies, who would not even attempt it because of the low temperatures. And then, they even helped clean up the mess. They deserve more than 5 stars!

These guys were great. Plumber just left, got a new garbage disposal installed for a great price. 300 below some places. Plus, they were able to get in 3 days before the scheduled appointment. Would highly recommend.

I’m not much of a handyman. I can replace light fixtures, install a ceiling fan, anything electrical (maybe not breaker stuff). I can’t do plumbing or carpentry stuff. So, we needed to replace the kitchen sink and faucet. Faucet was leaking so we thought of replacing the sink too. There goes hiring a plumber to get this done.
Got two quotes. It’s amazing the large gap between the two companies. First one gave us a quote of less than $400 to complete the whole job of removing old sink and replacing with new one. The other one gave us a quote of $1k, $500 to remove and $500 to install.
What a big difference between the two. Same job, one less than $400, the other one 3 times more. Anyway, the job took about one and a half hours total to do. The company was very professional, cleaned the work area after the job.
Kudos to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Grove City, Ohio for a great job and a fair price!

Around the end of Dec. I contacted Cantrell for a diagnostic after noticing water on the floor where the hot water heater is located (they did the replacement I recalled the diagnostic trip charge was about $80).The tech stated he was in the immediate vicinity.Upon his arrival the first thing that struck me as unprofessional was that he glanced at my shoes on the landing,my bare feet, and continued up the white stairs and across my hard wood floors in his muddy boots. He turned off the main water, placed his finger in the drip pan and stated it couldn't be the water heater because the water in the pan was cold. He asked me to plug the kitchen sink, fill it with water, and then unplug. We were about 5 feet from each other and when I unplugged the sink I noticed the water begin to rise in a tube in the laundry room.He suggested I remove the water from the drip pan with a towel and bucket.I placed a liner in the trash and he removed the liner stating in a sarcastic tone doesn't it make sense? (to remove the liner). He wrapped up by stating it would cost $140 to snake (plus the trip charge fee), to call in the am, and left, all within 15 minutes tops.I resolved with drano. On 1/18 I received an invoice for $265.At 4:43pm I called the office and spoke with an Eleanor who stated that can't be right....we charge $70 for the trip charge and $68/hr for services. She said the trip charge could sometimes double on weekends..understandable but still didn't add up($140, $208 tops). She asked for the initials on the description, I told her TR, she responded oh, the owner I will have to call you back on Monday. No return call but I received a duplicate bill with $265 highlighted in bold.I contacted several plumbers and their response was a $265 15 min diagnostic trip charge was far from standard, even excessive. Inconsistent pay practices? Beware
