We had a few inspection items on a home we were purchasing in Monument, one being a leaking pressure valve on hot water heater they repaired the problem; 6 weeks after moving in, we had a leak on same hot water heater, Aaron arrived promptly and replaced the valve at no charge stating they should have replaced it on the initial appointment (different valve). In my case, a poorly installed garbage disposal with an ill-fitted gasket, and a burst pipe between the back faucet and the waterline in the basement. The problem started on Sunday afternoon, and after calling Mr. Rooter (they've been our plumbing company for a long time), Doug came right out and cleared up the tree root problem and re-established our service. After coming out again on Monday to do more work, we were provided the option to replace a deteriorated connection to the city main. That work required major digging and repair work on the north side of our house. During the digging, the phone line was cut -- actually twice. The workmen called a supervisor; the supervisor kept us advised, continued supervising the work, which was completed that day. They fixed the phone line, and after all the yucky clean-up work was done, left the landscaping better than it was before. They handled themselves professionally and courteously, and didn't provide any excuses -- they provided the service we needed and went beyond what we could expect. It's not what happens during a job like this -- it's how it turns out and how problems are handled when they're encountered. I would definitely use Mr. Rooter again.

We have been using them for years and found them to be competent, fair and affordable, and genuinely nice folks.

We called Rooter Town in Colorado Springs to clean out a partial clog in our Laundromat's drain on their advertised $95 drain cleaning. Without doing anything other than looking at the exterior of the drain, he tells me that the drain has to be jetted and it will cost me about $900. I refused. Then he starts in with other upsells. I refused. He said he couldn't cable it the way it is even though there is a clean-out there. Made arrangements for them to return today after I provided a different access for him. I refused to let them do it, considering the fact that it was not necessary to begin with. Today they were a no-show. They did not want to do the $95 drain cleaning. Like other predatory businesses, the $95 special is just to get their foot in the door. This company does not hire plumbers. They are predatory salesman in disguise. This would make a good story for our area's Investigative Journalists to warn our community about this business.

I work with a real estate agent who had clients in Colorado Springs who needed to repair their sewer line per this company's inspection. We were told the work would be completed before the closing which was just about two weeks away. They didn't start when they said they would, and they did not finish (or even repair the line before the closing date). They tore up the driveway. I can see how things happen but what added to the stress and frustration was the various messaging from Ben, the Project Manager, and the guys at the site. The Friday before closing, the guys said the job could take up to two weeks more, didn't know it was supposed to be done by a certain date, and that they didn't have the right equipment to expedite the job. Ben kept assuring us it would be done on time then only a day or two late. He kept citing weather as the reason for the delay, but that's not what the guys at the site were saying?? They told me they were going to work the weekend so I drove down from Denver, but then nobody came. In addition to the delay, they broke the water line which created a hardship for the folks in the house as they had no running water for about 2 days. I would look elsewhere before using their plumbing service- especially if time is of the essence as it is in real estate transactions.
