We had a few inspection items on a home we were purchasing in Monument, one being a leaking pressure valve on hot water heater they repaired the problem; 6 weeks after moving in, we had a leak on same hot water heater, Aaron arrived promptly and replaced the valve at no charge stating they should have replaced it on the initial appointment (different valve). I had 3 appointments schedule with Around the Clock. The first I had to cancel because they were an hour past the 2 hour appointment window and it was going on 7pm. The second appointment the technician actually made it within the allotted appointment window, but left my sink leaking with very little explanation except for your faucet needs to be replaced. On my third and final appointment I received a call that Owen was running late and they would call when he was on his way. 2 hours after my scheduled 2 hour appointment window I called and cancelled my appointment and refused to work with Around the Clock. I was also offered a 5% discount on my first call but that was never honored.

I had high expectations for this company and was highly disappointed. I understand emergencies happen, but I chose the first appointment of the day for a reason. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere and will not be returning to Around the Clock.

Used to use this company but after the last visit, I'm switching to anyone other than HPE. Contractor came, partially fixed the problem, and then charged me 3.5 hours for what I recall was maybe 2 hours at the house. 45 minutes of that time owed to the contractor having to go to the store to buy parts. After partially fixing the issue, charged $540 dollars. Then, have an estimate of $500 more dollars to fix the rest, owing to a bad wire that must have become disconnected in the crawlspace. $500 for a wire?? Called for a second opinion from another vendor, they inspected, tested wires and found wires intact, with thermostats being the problem. They had to undo everything HPE did to fix the problem, which did NOT include $500 for a wire. How can you provide an estimate and cost of a problem you didn't even personally check in the first place? Proved to me HPE is ripping folks off for time and labor, for parts, and for notorious 2nd or 3rdvisits required to fix what other companies fix the first time. I do not recommend and if I could give zero stars, I would.
