Best Heater Replacement in Colorado Springs CO

Jeff did a superb job when our water heater broke. His response time was very quick and he took the time to educate us about the best replacement product for our home, the installation process, and maintenance tips. The entire project met all code requirements. As a veteran and spouse of a veteran, Jeff's work met our high quality standards. We trust Jeff and gladly refer him to our family and friends.

This company was hired by the seller of my home to repair the sewer line under my driveway. We were told the project would be done within 2 weeks. A week after the project began we walked into our home to find our water had been shut off, we were not informed of this prior to it happening. After I reached out to the project manager I was informed that the water line had been damaged in the repair but they were working on it. At that time I was also informed the project was taking a bit longer because of some unforeseen issues but they were working on it and would re-pour cement on Friday 8/5. I reached out later in the week and at that time was told they’d actually just be digging out the driveway Friday and would lay cement the next day, 8/6. These dates came and went and we heard NOTHING from the company. We received NO updates for a week (mind you our driveway is dirt at this time). After we reached out they finally sent someone back out to “look at it”. At that time we were informed there was a crack they created during demo that they’d probably also have to repair. Another week went by with no updates. After that week passed they came back out, did a little prepping and we were told they’d pour concrete later in the week. We again heard nothing until they showed back up on 8/30 to “look it over” yet again. At that time we were told they couldn’t do anything until the following Wednesday because they didn’t have concrete. This company has been “working on” our project for over a month, dragging their feet and not even having the courtesy to keep us updated. We have also had to request the correct water pipe cap multiple times, each time their response was “yea we’ll get one” but no attempt was actually made to do so. We FINALLY got our cement laid on 9/16, a month and a half after they initially claimed it would be done. About a week after the cement was laid they said they’d be back to correct a corner, they also damaged a sprinkler head during the process and said they’d fix that when they fix the corner. 3 weeks passed with no attempt to come back and make repairs. When we reached out the project manager told us “everything was taken care of” and when we told him that nobody had been back since the driveway was laid and we hadn’t even been contacted regarding the broken sprinkler, he then said they’d be out later that day to “finish up”. This has been a 2 month ordeal now for a project they said would take 2 weeks. Every attempt to get updates has been answered with incorrect information and outright lies regarding work that hadn’t been done. I only hope the repairs were actually made and no other damages were done that we are unable to see. I will NEVER do business with this company again and I suggest nobody else do so either.

Justin and his crew are the absolute best! I will never use a different plumbing company. The use great discernment and are extremely professional. If you want the job done correctly I would urge you to look no further. Thanks Bill’s! Saved me money and a lot of headache.

NO SHOW one time & late show one time; and when they did finally show up (after I took ½ a day off work), they didn’t have the parts with them that the scheduler ASSURED me they would have to fix my water heater; extending our time without hot water to more than 4 days. After their first “dropping of the ball” of not showing up until much later than scheduled, and the plumbing parts supplier was then closed; I was given a complimentary “USA Club” membership, where I was told I would be a priority customer. The next scheduled appt, the Smith's plumber never showed up at all. Being a part of their USA priority membership did nothing to help us get hot water. Finally went with a more reliable plumbing company where they showed up and fixed our hot water heater on the FIRST try. I would NOT recommend Smith’s Plumbing and heating for any work.

While I was out of town my wife called One Source because our furnace wasn’t heating very well. A tech came out and said he found a few problems but his “supervisor” needed to come out to verify faults. When the “supervisor” came out she began telling my wife our furnace wouldn’t make it another three days, this was through record cold temps. She also said that my wife needed to “think of our daughters” so that they don’t freeze. She also told the technician he needed to leave now because he had other calls he needed to get to immediately. I knew this didn’t sound right as our furnace is only 10 year old, with a life expectancy of 20 years. One Source quoted us $7000 for just a new furnace. I also had my wife ask about installing an A/C unit for the upcoming summer. One Source told her we couldn’t tie into our existing furnace and it would cost $20,000 all in to replace the furnace and install an A/C unit. We called another HVAC company to come out and they said our existing furnace had at least another 10 years and that the gas pressure just needed to be adjusted. They charged us $100 and our furnace has never worked better. While adjusting the gas pressure he also said we can in fact tie an A/C unit into our existing furnace and it would cost about $4500 give or take. Trying to use predatory sales tactics on my wife while I am out doing training isn’t a good look! Oh and to top it all off, they turned off the furnace while they were here and didn’t turn it back on before they left. I will never call to use or recommend One Source again!Edit: Owner response states that multiple estimates were placed in my file, one that shows an estimate for repair only. My wife was never told about this estimate and the email I have is strictly for replacement of the entire furnace, it does not include an estimate for repair of the existing furnace. I also made a post on the app “Nextdoor” and there are multiple people that have had issues with One Source, still would not recommend them to anyone I know.Edit again: One Source just sent the email for “mandatory repairs” (5 days later after negative reviews). This estimate is for $1600. I declined of course because another HVAC company already came out to adjust our gas pressure for $113, fixing our furnace.

Ed is always very courteous, honest and quickly solves any problems we have had. We had him put in a gas line for a new fireplace & the location for it proved to be complicated. He went down to the city planning/permit office to ask questions, to be sure he could do what he thought before presenting us his plan/estimate and was present for all inspections. As long as he is in business I will use him and highly recommend him to anyone

My appointment was booked for the next day. This morning I was called with an update on the status of the plumbing technicians and then they arrived exactly when I was told they would. They worked swiftly and completed my job with ease. I will be calling this company again for any future plumbing needs.

Rick was personable, listened well, gave an estimate and demonstrated a well-informed understanding of my plumbing concern -- and all of this over the phone! His quoted price was reasonable and his response time fitting. (My concern was a pinhole leak from the hot water heater's line out.)

I have had such a gray experience with Delta! Everyone over the phone has been so genuinely nice and helpful. Andrew came out to disconnect our plumbing for our counter top install and he was amazing! Very genuine and helpful and answered all of my questions no problem.
